He gives alot of extra credit in the form of primary source analysis and extra quizes. Basically if your willing to do the work you have an easy A. 3 exams with essay (1 of 4 questions given

The most organized professor I have ever had. Outlines every single detail for all the assignments in google docs. The course load seems intense in the beginning however after the first week, everything is so much more manageable and easy to follow. Textbook is written by Professor Mooney and is enjoyable and easy to read. Phenomenal class!!

There are no quizzes or tests or anything like that, but this class is reading and writing HEAVY. Every week (this applies to HIST101 and 102) you read a chapter (sometimes 2) and write a 250-350 answer to an essential question. Then, you write another 250-250 word response, reviewing another student's answer. Then you write another 250-350 paper.
