This class could be alot easier if he actually gave us short cuts and put up the powerpoints so we could study off of. I wish he did not make us write down formulas which we did not need for exams. I wish he taught us how to use our calculators better to find distributions instead of just writing it out. I feel lost at times in his class :(
Homework takes tons of time + You have to watch 2-4 hours of prelecture videos every week. He never articulates whats going to be on the tests and doesnt give practice ones. Doesnt publish lecture slides too. The only good thing is that you can contact him outside class through discord and he answers pretty quickly.
Three 30-minute pre-lecture videos per week. Exact the same stuff talking in the lecture. Totally a waste of time.
His talks so fast in class which make the class confusing. no practice for the exam.
He's really out here trying to reform the education system, which I rlly respect. Cares about u as a person and rlly nice guy. Also very responsive on discord if you ever need HW help. Does a lot of curving of HWs and exams, which helps ur grade in the end. Pre-lectures/HW take a good amount of time but its all of the information u need to know.
Super nice guy and means well. His tests are so challenging and so are WH. The only thing that helped my grade was MyStatLab. Moves too quickly but is accessible outside of class, would take someone else if you can.
Ridiculous amount of homework. Made unnecessary and random references to gender identity and other vaguely political topics in class. Very dismissive when meeting one on one. Must watch 3-4 hours of online lectures every week, and lengthy written and online homework assignments every week as well.
We had about 3 weekly pre-lecture videos that ranged 20-50 minutes that we HAD to watch to understand material. He explained the same concept in lecture (you have to attend) with less detail so overall its a waste of time. Homework graded harshly but curved in the end. Tests were very fair and he tries to give you back points wherever he can though
Exams are fairy straightforward and easy. But if you miss a lecture or forget to watch lecture videos, it is difficult to catch up.
This class was no joke - very complicated, technically challenging, and lots of work. You have to pay attention, watch all lectures, and take diligent notes to understand the material. But Prof Moore is always available outside of class (literally 24/7) and will help in any way he can if you ask. Very worth the work.
Really improved from prior semesters. Yes, there are pre-lec videos and lots of hw (some due biweekly) but they honestly work in your favor. You're exposed to the material often and it even counts for EC on exams. I recommend attending lectures and office hours, he's happy to answer any questions and really looks after his students.
Just like, this class is tough. Turn everything in and he will curve your tests well but there is so much homework that it is difficult to do. Don't take this class when you have other hard classes because this class will take up every inch of free time if you want to pass.
not an easy A class but definitely doable as long as you keep on track with him. Dr. Moore is a very knowledgeable person and an excellent lecturer. The lectures are indeed intense, but exams are made relatively simple and very straightforward plus there are unbelievable amount of extra credit. Take his class if you want to learn some real stats
Not an easy class but Moore really wants his students to do well. You do not have to do great on all the exams to get an okay grade in the class. He told us he doesn't believe in exams anyways. VERY helpful and willing to answer any question during lecture. Lecture is actually really interesting and he cracks jokes to make it fun
Very nice professor. Very organized and cares about students. No a hard class if you put effort. Funny lecture and great personality.
The reason I rated 5 because there is only 5 as the top grade. I don't know why other students(or haters) do not like him. The professor is nice and the materials can be easier to actually learn something. Me no know.
The professor cares about students and is always willing to help. He gives examples in class and great YouTube materials to help you understand the lecture. I don't have a solid math background, but Moore's class is definitely understandable if you make efforts to understand the concepts and definitions. Recommend.
If you just want to get a high grade with minimum effort, you should not take his class. But if you love math and are generally interested in math, you should not miss his class. He is super smart and organized. Highly recommend!
Moore is the best! His lecture is a little bit heavy, but he's ready to answer everything! Go to his office-hour, ask whatever you are confused about, and he will spend the whole 2 hours explaining the concepts to you, until you understand them. He also shares extra knowledge that is useful for your future. So caring. But prepare to spend some time
Professor Moore is an excellent lecturer. He makes statistics easy to understand and funny. He has clear (and forgiving) grading criteria, and he is extremely accessible outside of class. Any time I was confused about anything I could write to him on Discord, and he would generally respond within a few minutes.
He is so good. He shows caring toward his student. The grading isn't curved. So, you get what you have put in. Discussion isn't mandatory, but sometimes, there is extra credit for turning in discussion assignments.
Really good professor. If you wanna learn go take his class and put effort. You will learn something and receive good grades.
He is very interesting. Very fun class. Highly recommend!
He is extremely passionate about teaching and is very considerate. One of the best profs I have ever had. He also has a youtube channel called "Let's Learn, Nemo!" with supplementary videos which are actually really good and thorough. I wish other professors were like him.
Fell behind and failed the final. Homework is factored in so I ended up doing all right. The curve is amazing. The professor is great and has youtube videos that are basically just the lectures so attendance isn't mandatory. Understand the modules and the exams won't be terrible. Ask for help!
Cares for his students and is very accessible outside of class. I'm not a math person but his videos were very helpful and I ended up doing well. The amount of homework made this class rather unenjoyable but it helped my grade a lot and I have to respect that Professor Moore is a really genuine person who actually wants to help his students
This professor is one of those profs that cares about students and spends a lot of time building a learning environment. If you want to really learn, then he's the one for you; but if you just want an easy A, there are probably other people for that. Overall, a good learning experience so far. Wish BU wouldn't require lab and discussion though :(
Why make R on nearly every (extremely time consuming) homework and part of the curriculum if you're not even going to teach it in lecture? Incredibly disorganized course that will take up nearly all your free time. Professor also seems very inexperienced, although he seems like a decent guy. Class should be worth more than 4 credits.
Does not know how to set reasonable expectations for students, especially with the fact that a significant majority of students taking the class are not math majors. This class has significantly more work than my major courses and you have to learn most things on your own. If you want to learn stats, I recommend you do not take with Moore.
I have previously taken MA 115 with Prof Moore and I enjoyed his teaching style; I chose to take MA 213 with him because he is such an amazing professor. If you ask for help he is quick to respond (for the most part) and gives very thorough explanations. The homework shouldn't take too much time or be difficult but if it is, ask for help!
I don't understand the reason for having such a large semester long project with everything else. Other classes with semester long projects are based entirely around the project, so this class is like twice the requirements of every other class at BU. He also does not teach R at all. WHY IS THERE BOTH LAB AND DISCUSSION??
Professor Moore is a very responsible professor and is almost always available (OH basically everyday) to ask about homework/test questions. Very fun to work with. Homework load is reasonable and ample amount of time to work on them.
all the people writing bad reviews havent stepped inside an INTRODUCTORY chem lab. yes, you have to learn R by yourself but the videos are very thorough and in class exams do not reply on R, only a few homework questions and the semester long project. moore is honest and is great at making students comfortable. He also posts all lecture videos.
Call me professor the way I have to teach myself in this grade deflation class.
If I had a dollar for every statistics example he did that had dogs, squirrels, kangaroos, and dolphins mentioned, I could buy my way to being a political leader in the US. Very encouraging professor for those who aren't good at math or stats, and offers extra time out of daily office hours for help if hes free. Def recommend.
Very large workload featuring unreasonably long and hard homework. Unclear lectures that are clearly improvised on the spot and is just him haphazardly writing on a barley visible chalk board. This professor has too high expectations.
I never thought a course with the word "Basic" in its title would ask for so much. Besides learning statistics and doing huge homework, we have an extremely time consuming semester long project using R (which is not taught in lecture) and writing a lot of papers, despite it being an intro math class and the first time most of us learn statistics.
We have a big research project to do, yet this class doesn't even have the research and information literacy hub unit. In fact, this class's research project is longer and harder than classes I've taken that do give the research and information literacy hub unit! The professor tries to do a good job but he makes the class harder than necessary :(
Amazing prof. Ive seen comments on here about the group final project which is only 15 pgs, which we have ALL semester to write as a group, and the lab professor (not Moore) gives us outlines of everything in the Lab to copy/paste into our report. Moore is great as a prof. Others may need to write their paper instead of rmp reviews tbh.
If I had known this class would have a 15 page essay that is entirely irrelevant to the course material (it is writing papers and using R, neither of which is taught in lecture), I definitely would not have taken this class. I was looking for an introduction to statistics, instead I was saddled with busy work.
Get ready to spend day and night studying for this class, working on tedious and ambiguous homework, and watching hour long pre lecture videos...or fail. 3 stars since least the professor is at least a nice guy.
He is a great lecturer and you do not lose interest in the class. He explains well and also provides prelecture videos which are very helpful.
His lectures are fast paced but understandable and well organized. His tests are fair - not too difficult but not easy. He gives students ample resources to succeed. Great professor, interesting class
I think the reviews being left for Professor Moore are unfair- out of all my classes, Professor Moore has been by far the most accommodating and helpful when it comes to understanding the material. The workload is not unmanageable, and though a couple problem sets are a bit difficult, you are given them at least a week in advance.
Easily the best professor I've had at BU, and he's rare since he actually cares about his students. He is super interactive and clear in class and goes out of his way to make our class feel comfortable asking questions, that's why people never need go to discussion sections. He even holds office hours everyday. If you're taking diff eq TAKE HIM!
I have never had a professor who has been so available. Professor Moore responds fast to emails and is always available to help. This has made this class (as a non-math major) much easier for me. If you follow the resources he gives you and asks questions when you need help you will do great. Additionally lectures are very engaging and well paced.
Professor Moore is one of the best I have had in university. What makes him so special is that he is able to connect with his students on a human level and sees us as more than just robots. He recognizes struggles we might be having in this time of our life and is super accommodating. He also answers so quickly to emails which is refreshing!
Professor Moore is the best professor I have had at BU. He really wants to see his students succeed and do well. He answers emails very quickly, and holds office hours almost everyday. He is always very understanding and you can tell he cares a lot about his students. I would 100% recommend taking a class with Professor Moore.
Professor Moore is a great professor. I am currently taking him for both MA 213 and MA 226, and he is an extremely fair professor. His lectures, homeworks, and tests are extremely straightforward. For the exams, he gives formula sheet, notecard, and a practice test. I plan on taking him again ASAP because of the sheer amt I am actually learning.
Amazing professor, take him for diff eq if you can. Differential equations can be incredibly complicated but he goes slow, making sure everyone fully understands the material. He's not like other professors who just spew a bunch of theory on the board and hope students pick up on it. He actually explains concepts so that students can grasp them.
I'm glad to see an inundation of higher reviews for Prof. Moore. He has been a great professor and the courseload that some seem to find unmanageable is really not a lot especially in comparison with other math courses. He casts shade at BU (love it) and lectures go by quick. He will briefly name subjects some may find uncomfortable now and then.
Professor Moore is undoubtedly one of the best professors at BU. We honestly need more talented professors like him. He alleviates the difficult content by teaching it in a joyful and engaging way. However, you should go to his lectures and discussions, and complete the homework. Ones who think ratings are suspicious are being passive-aggressive.
Professor Moore is an amazing lecturer. Engaging lectures, but won't be an easy A. Take his classes for sure! P.S. The reason why the rated dates look suspicious is because of Professor Moore's humor. On the days he jokes about RateMyProfessor during lecture, students have the tendency to look him up. Might as well rate him while being there...
Professor Moore is the best professor I met at Boston University. His class is clear and easy to follow. I have never seen a professor give 35% grades in homework with unlimited attempts. He also posts videos if you miss his classes. easy to access in class and outside class. If you need something, come earlier or wait until later after classes.
I am not a math person at all, but this class was not as hard as I thought it would be, and that's entirely because of the effort Prof. Moore puts into this class. He wants us to succeed and he gives us the tools to do so (albeit there being a LOT of tools to work with haha). I love that he cares enough to chat with us and I think he's a great soul
He is one of the best professors from dept of statistics! He is very caring and brings so much fun to lectures. Homeworks and exams are not hard and the gradings are very reasonable.
I had him for 8 am lectures and even though he was tired, he still manages to get through lectures thoroughly and makes sure to answer anyones questions. Attendance is not mandatory and he has pre-recorded YouTube videos that summarizes his lectures. All homework is online and straight forward. I recommend going to his lectures.
I have lost all my sanity doing this class's long and impossible homework. I am going to fail the final and this class.
I don't care much about GPA, so this will be free of bias. Moore is a cool dude. He is willing to work with you if you meet him halfway. He is also very accessible. But he isn't good at stimulating interest in the course's content. It could just be the nature of the class, but it feels like I'm just getting formulas shoved down my throat every day.
Prof Moore was probably the best professor I've had objectively. Very friendly and helpful in and out of the classroom, cares for students well being and understanding of the material, and he grades exams the same day they're taken. Good prof and good guy
1. He really helps us understand the geometrical meaning and applications of ODE, which paves the way for us to learn EC401(signal and system) since he includes the Fourier transform and Laplace transform. 2. take notes and preliminarily understand his pre-videos before attending lectures because prof speaks fast and extends deeply in lectures.
Professor Moore is an exceptional profesor Class feels like a community and it feels like everyone is invested in seeing you succeed Moore is frequently available outside of class and replies to questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. I would give a 6 if I could
Prof Moore is one of the most caring professors i've met. He is there to help no matter what (reddit, discord, email, in person, you name it). Class content and tests can be tricky but there is room for extra credit through the weekly modules. Moore is very real and knows how to build a connection with students. Attendance is never mandatory.
A *legend* - makes even statistics engaging and intuitive, and comes up with the most hilarious example problems. Very accessible outside of class and extremely fair with grading. Always willing to explain concepts as many times as necessary, and makes an effort to keep class fun. Workload is fair and not just for the sake of assigning things.
Probly the only thing I regret doing is I didn't have much interaction with prof Moore for the whole semester(been too busy missing literally 3 months of classes). This guy's video's so clear u literally only need them to do well. He grades exams like breakneck fast so u won't get worked up waiting for grades. Just don't do what I do, attend class!
One of the best professors I've had. Truly cares about helping students learn and offers very generous curves.
Just take his class and you will not regret.
Professor Moore is the G.O.A.T. of BU math. I had no experience with calculus before this class and I learned so much this semester. As long as you put in some effort you will succeed! Go to office hours and watch the pre-lecture videos!!!!!! Overall, I would highly recommend this course with Professor Moore.
Crazy curve based on your completion of homework, which has unlimited attempts. My friend's 74 scaled up 22 points. Lectures are optional and he posts prelecture videos on his Youtube channel which are just as sufficient. 3 midterms and 1 final which are pretty hard but reflect the content and his grading (and the curve) is more than generous.
One of the best professors at BU and extremely accessible outside of class (he responded to my questions at 11pm on a Saturday). If you put in the work and occasionally go to office hours, you will do well in the class.
This guy is great. He answered all of my homework questions through discord at like 1 am and is even better at explaining them during office hours
Very personable professor. Amazing lectures and very good at explaining and reinforcing concepts. One of the best professors at teaching and genuinely caring for students. My only complaint is sometimes lectures get too personal, but the professor is funny! Three midterms, one final, and a bunch of small and annoying homeworks.
Nemo is a great teacher and person! I wish he was my professor for other courses. But holy cow his class is difficult. Not his fault at all, just that he chose to teach such a difficult course. I cant tell sometimes if I'm reading numbers or letters anymore. I cry myself to sleep every night. But difficulty, Moore is an amazing teacher!
He always stays in his office and is ready to answer any kind of questions. It feels like he'd like to help his students. he tries to teach boring stuff in a funny way. U may find the stuff he teaches hard for now, but helpful in the future. He's a helpful, nice, easygoing, and funny professor. Take his class, you won't regret it.
Dr. Nemo makes stochastic MAD easy, best math prof in BU no cap. As a student, your hard work will eventually pay off. Highly recommend for all students. I don't know where all the haters are from maybe they should say less & put in work.
Moore is an excellent professor, but I found 416 to be a very challenging course. He's accessible in office hours, by email, and is very understanding all around. He's passionate about his courses and explains concepts very effectively. The modules can be a lot, but that could just be because I've literally never coded before. Would recommend!
Dr. Moore was amazing, especially with how he taught lectures! As someone who never had experience with R Coding before, Dr. Moore explained all concepts thoroughly and was always available in his office to troubleshoot problems with the code. Made all lectures very interesting. The exams were difficult, but he recognizes the work you put in.
Means well but goes a million miles an hour occasionally asking if we understand but not waiting even a beat for an answer. It feels like he just wants to show off his math skills in front of an audience the way we are all so confused but ignored. There is no prereq for calculus for this course and second day all we are doing is calculus.
Moore definitely cares about his students. Hw may seem like a lot, but helps in understanding the material if you aren't quick at understanding things during lectures. Recommend office hours, pretty much helps you solve hws and also get ahead so that assignments don't take up much time trying to figure things out alone
Great professor. Genuinely cares about students. Records videos about the concepts. Office hours were very insightful and he helps you think through the problems which is really great. MA 119 is a lot of algebra so be good at that
Dr. Moore is great, but he makes this course way harder than a 100+ level math course.
Professor Moore is funny and caring towards his students, but struggles to take constructive feedback or teach the material well. I have seen a lot of students complaining about the pace and difficulty of this course, and do not recommend it to anyone taking it for a HUB credit. The only time I was able to learn any course material was with the TA.
Honestly speaking, Dr. Moore explains concepts clear, the only problem is he makes this course so difficult, especially for lots of people taking for hub unit. MA119 is also not easy for me as a math major, I feel like this is harder than ANY 200 level math course I've taken so far. If you're not a math person, this is not the right course for you.
Original instructor was a grad student but when the BU strike hit Moore took over. Our first class he gave us a surprise exam. He seems more concerned with his ego (CONSTANTLY talks about his RMP reviews) than actually teaching us the material. I would rather finish the semester on my own than have to sit through another minute of his class.
Professor Moore is fun and makes statistics look easy.
(MA113) Professor Moore was very funny, really taught the content, provided a ton of resources, and had fair tests. However, considering it's the most basic stats class, it felt far too difficult. I spent WAY more time on MA113 than anything else, dreaded showing up to class the end of the semester. There were also some errors in the homeworks.
He's actually very helpful. His office hours let you lock in. He really helps you with any problems that you need and makes the class as easy as possible. Although there is some advanced work, he helps you understand it no problem. Goat.
Professor Moore is a great lecturer and it is enjoyable to follow him in the world of stats. But 416 is a bit more difficult than what I would expect. Since I took 581/582 already, this is not a big deal for me. But for student who went straight from 213/214, some of these concepts could be confusing or too difficult.
Professor Moore made my stats class as easy as can be. Even in a statistics class, it was incredibly easy to get by without spending hours a day studying. However, there were numerous occasions where I got stuck on homework. His office hours were extremely helpful and I would go weekly. He is a must if you need a math credit.
Dr Moore is awesome. He is always around to answer a question or help students. He has open office hours, and there are always people in his office willing to learn and listen. Dr Moore takes time out of his schedule to assist students and is quite inspirational. Ask him about his research!
Professor Moore makes this class much more difficult than it should be. You are obliged to do about three homeworks every week, he does not care about his students and gives no extra credit. In his lectures he makes you feel bad if you have a doubt and has terrible handwriting so you do not understand a lot of thing he writes.
The professor: Version answer, take him. The class: Pretty hard, but 213 (don't need 581/582 has nothing to do with this class) knowledge's more than enough to handle the content. Code everything yourself. Don't fall behind. Make sure do all homework on time to perfection cuz he's gonna slap a shield to your exam grade (ask him what it means) ;).
Dr. Moore is a great prof! He is super accessible (various OHs and super fast email replier). All hw and tests were very fair, based on lecture. I thought the class would be more conceptual instead of plug and chug equations but I still learned a lot of interesting finance things. Dr. Moore is 5% confusing to me but will def explain/help if you ask
Having classes with Dr Moore is a blast. Dr Moore clearly explains concepts and connects with other aspects in Stats, such as linear model, optimization, linear algebra, etc. Make sure you do homeworks and shoot for 100. I did great on the exams as well^^ A great class to build solid foundation in programming language R
His lectures are so engaging and helpful!
Amazing professor with well-organized lectures. Great at delivering content during lectures and allows for students to express their creativity in proofs and working solutions.
Checked out his video, have a couple of words: FM is basically analysis of geometric series & variants; with a couple of new concepts such as MacCaulay/Mod duration and convexity, swap rate, force of interest, etc. It is intrinsically very easy, but from an applicative aspect one needs lots of intuition on math to apply it to any scenario you like.
MA582 with Professor Moore is the most stress free math class I have taken at BU. I learned a lot from his teaching with almost no stress. I feel like this is how it's supposed to be - having fun while learning and not worry about the grades. I am glad I completed my undergraduate journey with such a great professor.
Great professor who cares about your actually learning the material; take him if you can. Ignore any haters, they definitely didn't put in the work required to get a good grade because Moore gives you every opportunity to do good.
The modules are a love hate. Doing them with 100% accuracy means you cant fail the course and honestly the worst you can do on a test with that boost is probably a B. But there are anywhere from 2-3 of them a week and they can take from 30min to 2 hours. I found some concepts were over complicated at times aswell. But lectures are engaging and fun.
Moore is a genius at stats, sometimes I think he just doesn't understand everyone else is not as smart as him. Especially in his upper-level classes, students are smart, but with all the material being brand new, it's hard to keep up with his train of thought, especially when no lectures are posted/YouTube videos are available/textbooks are used.
Prof Nemo is a cool dude who cares more about students actually learning meaningful material than about formalities. Stats and math can be hard. But you are in good hands with this man.
I have to say you can get many "A" from different classes in BU, but probably only in Prof. Moore's class you can not only learn a lot but also get an A pretty easily if you put in the effort. He really made me feel like my hard work will pay off!
One of the best classes/instructors at BU—rigorous yet manageable. His lectures are clear and engaging, making the material easy to follow. Unlike most math/stats classes, I feel like I'll retain the concepts long-term. Attendance isn't required, but I never missed a lecture. Highly recommend this course.
Helpful and nice
Honestly I am sure Professor Moore is a good guy, but I signed up to take Stats 2 with him and it was pretty much a coding class. All we did was code and learn how to use software when our exams did not even cover coding. We barely learned any actual stats and it was like taking a coding/stats class combined. Def made it too complicated.
Awesome class! Awesome professor!
When I took 115, we didnt use any software at all even though software is used in most jobs, so im glad prof moore is actually teaching us something useful compared to just paper-math with no applications. Highly recommend if you want to learn something; they are extremely willing to help if you put in the effort.
Moore is the best professor in math department. You can both be his student and his friend.
His class is so freaking hard and he will debate you that it is your problem if you struggle. For sure, he gives us all the resources required to do well in his class, but the premise is, if you have unlimited amount of time to squander only on this one class. Good luck failing all other classes or giving up on this course. Ur welcome!
Professor Moore is caring but the course is quite challenging, even for math majors. Attending office hours and using study tools like unstuck AI can really help grasp the concepts.
I can confidently say he's the best professor in the math department. I've never met such a kind and supportive professor in any math course at BU. You will definitely learn a lot from his class; I encourage you to attend. He is incredibly knowledgeable in statistics and math, and truly connects with his students and treats them like friends.
the third midterm was unexpectedly difficult. There was not a single question that was similar as all the practice exams and module assignments he had released for midterm 3. my average for both first mid terms are 90s. and my third one was a 65 and i prepared the hardest for my third mid term. well played you got me Moore
Professor Moore is the best professor, he gives students so much curves and opportunities to improve their grades. Content is easy, make sure you also focus on the conceptual part of statistics as well as the equations.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT take this class if you don't know/have experience with R studio or any coding in general. All hw is online & done in R, which is hard to learn if you suck in CS. You don't get practice actually solving problems by hand, which makes learning content hard & exams even harder. I did well in 115, but 116 with Moore was just awful
MA416 is a very hard class. I have to say Dr. Moore's explanations aren't always clear, but his always there to help, just go to his office whenever you have questions. Also, by the end of the semester, a 77% overall grade might still earn you an A, what more could you ask for?
Honestly I don't understand the bad reviews. Moore was an amazing professor who was ALWAYS accessible outside of class which I really appreciate. Yes R studio was hard but I'm glad we learned it because it's very beneficial in the real world. He had a lot of extra credit opportunities. Though I wished he'd done slides for all his lectures.
The lectures are well delivered and the curves given are generous. Even though the homework is a bit much and the exams aren't easy, you can get an A if you study hard.
Moore is a great, caring professor. MA416 is a hard class, but even if you struggle with concepts and your exams don't go well, then do the homework, go to lectures, study, and still give it your best continually. As long as you really try, he will always show an appreciation for it, and you can take home a far better grade than you would expect
Moore is the best. He's caring, organized, and approachable. The pace of his lecture is kinda fast but in a way that engages and motivates students. He explains concepts clearly. I can feel that he wants students to get as much as possible from his class. Grading criteria is clear. Homeworks and exams very are consistent with lecture materials.
he lectures extremely fast and is hard to keep up. sometimes he posts the lectures, but when they're important he does not. just keep taking pictures of the board. his grading is extremely fair and actually innovative, kind of hard to understand at first but it makes it so you need to try not to get an A. organized in a messy way. lots of homework
