Complete dumb*ss. Design Project for 578 consisted of writing an essay on a homework problem, for 671 is is writing an essay on freakiin' equations, which can be found in his stupid book. In 572 he used an earlier textbook, and would lecture from the section not in the new version! Worst prof I have ever seen. Put's zero effort into the job

Terrible teacher. Tests are based on HW, but when he goes over the solutions, he can't even solve them! So the solutions end up being all over the place. He also never stops talking about his stupid book. Gives irrelevant projects and makes you feel stupid when you ask questions. Be ready to have a tutor and read the text front to back. AVOID!

Probably worst active/current ECE professor. 2 semesters ago he taught ECE 370 but got canceled because everyone left his class to take Cable's ECE 370 session. Basically, he's so bad his classes get canceled. Is there more that needs to be said?

Worst ECE professor at CSUN. It's clear after 3 weeks in class he doesn't know his subject. All the bad rumors about him are true. CSUN can't fire him due to tenure, so just avoid his classes if at all possible. I like how Katz and Mallard's 240 are full yet Radmanesh only has 3 poor souls enrolled in his class. The enrollment data says it all.

worst professor ever. always comes in late, does not help with assignments, makes exams extremely difficult, cannot answer questions in a comprehensible way. he even messes up on working out hw problems. guaranteed fail or lower grade than expected, DO NOT TAKE

Teacher does not know how to teach, thats the bottom line. He not only doesnt care about teaching you the information he makes you grade your own homework because he's too lazy to do it himself. Then he gives you an assignment with no guidelines and marks you off big time for not doing something exactly the way he wants it. I'm not a C student..

Dr. Matthew Radmanesh has been the recipient of the "Biggest d0uche in the universe" award for his 15th straight year now. Also the books he's authored have provided enough paper to fuel fires in poverty stricken villages for eons to come. He is also an accomplished huntsman and carved a bolo tie from the bones of a rare siberian panther he killed.

One of the worst teachers in the CSUN engineering department. He is too lazy to grade assignments thoroughly so he looks for trivial problems to dismiss the assignment. He seems to go out of his way to be difficult to say the least. This guy clearly does not enjoy teaching and he takes it out on his students.

Take Radmanesh only after taking 671. 571 is a class for research. His redundant textbook will not help you learn how to design circuits. He will run you to the ground in the last 2 weeks by assigning 4 hw assignments, two simulations, a presentation, and final exam. Had an A the entire semester, then got buried in the last 2 wks. and took a B.

Worst teacher I've ever had.Requires you to write pointless essays.Doesn't care about teaching.Puts no effort into the class. Assigns hw problems and quizzes on the fly where the class describes the right answer. He doesn't even solve it himself even if the class cant get it.Lectures are basically common sense and he solves the most basic problems.

When teachers say the students teach them more than they teach the students, it is true in Radmanesh's case. He doesn't know anything. Which is probably why he assigns so many unrelated research papers. Don't worry he's too lazy to read them.

Dr. Radmanesh was by far the worst professor I have ever had. I think he was probably a nice guy, but he didn't provide any value whatsoever. He lectures were incoherent, he gave pop quizzes that he didn't know the answer to, and his grading was completely erratic and unfair. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone that cared about their education.

Worst professor in the ECE department. He has no clue on how to teach and his class moves way too slowly. To keep it simple avoid him at all costs.

Worst professor at CSUN. Period. Makes us write pointless essays, takes tough attendence, wastes lots of lecture time checking hw and essays, and everyone is lost in the lab because of him. Department chair had to apologise to me on his behalf. I will need to sit in Mallards class next semester to learn anything!

Avoid Him. All he cares about is the essays. He breaks down his class in a following manner: first 10 minutes for attendance. Next 30 minutes to discuss homework which really doesn't make any sense. Next 1Hr will be topics from the book and in that every 15 mins we need to write theory what he taught during this period. thats it

Dr. Rad is good for nothing. He doesn't take class nor gives an opportunity to learn. people copy HW, tests and clear his class. Very partial grader. does not value hard work. group project is not evaluated properly. no proper grading scale. gives random grade. he is not worth being a professor. its a class for laid back ppl who are not interested

Not sure whether it was a class a graduate level class or a comic book store. He doesnt know the subject. blabbers a few concepts. Students laugh and play. looks like he offers classes for students who are not interested in education. wasted time and money on his class. he makes u waste time writing good for nothing essays and doing art projects.

I never understood his grading style.... I scored the highest in the mid term and final was decent too, but got a B... He cannot idenotify who issue really worth..

Honestly I am confused. How is he a professor? He can't teach, overwhelms you with work on the last two weeks, and gives projects without directions. He won't even tell you the grades you received on the projects, so you will just have to guess. No one learn a thing in that class. Its the one class that I walked out knowing less than I walked in.

To be honest I do not understand how you group projects and his grading style will get us ready for the engineering world. I learn more looking things up, the lab and on chegg than actually attending his lecture. A mock up really and to be honest professor I have never had a class where I do not learned anything beneficial. This is my first D ever

No one knows what they were going to get in the class. People who got decent grades on his quizzes failed while students who failed every quiz got a B. Doesn't follow how the book does examples and expects you to know how to do it. Avoid this professor if you want to learn or pass

The only thing that I can say is DO NOT TAKE WITH HIM ANY CLASS. you are not going to learn any. His teaching is disaster. plus, he just grade your solutions based on your final answer.

CSUN please review this professors performance. PLEASE. He is by far one of the worst professors I have had. He is incredibly lazy and chooses the worst book to cover. His lecture do not make sense and barely covers any important content. The HW assignments do not translate to the quizzes or tests. A better book or video can teach you more than him

You better off just reading the book and watching youtube videos. He knows the material but fails to teach students. Ask him a question and you will be left more confused or he will just skip your question; rather than trying to help you he will just refer to the textbook. which is difficult to read if you dont know contents in what it is implying.

This professor has a very nice personality but, he is very unorganized, and I mean to the point we're the whole class was lost. If you ask for help get ready to get publicly humiliated just because you were confused. Other than that, make sure to not take him because his final grades were not dependent on the work you turned in if so would of had B

I took this class online and it was so unorganized. He grades you off for the last figure in each lab of the lab manual so you can do 90% of the lab wrong and won't know until he checks the report at the end of the semesterIf you are taking this class make sure you get checked off for every lab or else he won't count your labs even if you did them

Pros: He's caring and is willing to help students. He seems to understand the material well and is willing to explain it. He cares about student feedback. Cons: He is terribly unorganized and unprepared, and his class lacked structure/clarity. I'd suggest reading the book as it helped me actually learn the material. His lectures lack clarity.

This class is the epitome of what not to do. From multiple choice math-based exams with incorrect answers, to an ultra rushed 1st half of the sem even tho everyone told him to slow down. His response: "you guys should be watching my lecture twice." He has notes on his computer but doesn't post them, be prepared to write like the speed of light.

DO NOT TAKE! You need his signature in order to leave/get credit for the exp, which seems IMPOSSIBLE to get. This was a late lab which had people leaving at 10PM. He will find the most irrelevant thing to pick out for example, my calculation was off by 0.001, LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL. IF YOU WANT TO SUFFER TAKE HIM!

Goes too fast on important topics but takes his time on easy ones. Doesn't use Canvas, other than to make you print out tons of pages near end of semester, so you won't know your grade until the end of the semester. Grades exams inconsistently. Only way to pass is to memorize every single hw problem. Many people did not pass, do not recommend.

Lectures aren't prepared ahead of time (no slides or structure), his homework solutions are riddled with incorrect solutions (don't study them for exams), exams have typos that make them impossible to solve, and his final is worth 50%. Homework is mostly easy, but the exam questions are always significantly harder than class examples

Unorganized. Doesnt update grades. Doesnt know how to explain. No prepared lectures. Very little examples. Homework is harder than lecture examples. Doesnt like the textbook solutions but doesnt show preferred. He wants you to learn not to memorize, which he thinks justifies us doing things the hard way as if we dont have to memorize regardless.

DO NOT TAKE! His own answers are wrong even according to him. I know this because he had helped me with homework during office hours and when we graded it in class he told me it was wrong... If you ask him how to study for his class he will tell you to get a dictionary, and that's the most help you will get.

This professor was a waste of my time and would be a waste of yours AVOID THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COST. He acts inspirational and understanding but he doesn't even understands what he is teaching.

.You will go to class on time to see him coming in late talking about current news while he sets up then give a horrible explanation of the chicken scratch problem he wrote on the board and then he will end the class with some inspirational saying.

Let's just say The people who voted him as awful know what they are talking about so trust the. I and him for ECE 240 lecture but also hard he was just as bad in other classes.
