She is a very good teacher the only negative thing is when asked a question she gets over excited when you do not have the correct answer. This discourages a lot of students in the class not wanting to ask a question.

Guest lecture

The class is very highly interactive, all the material is on the teachers website and the flexibility to learn is on your own time. The course is about the internet and we learn it there, making web sites. The negative is that the teacher lets you learn on your time from the book, no book material.

Great Prof! At first I thought I would hate the class but by the end it was one of my favorites. Key to getting an A is to DO THE WORK. Shes very fair with grading and helps students a lot.I learned sooooo much from her and would gladly want her as a prof again.

Professor Greenbaum is the best professor I've had at UCC! She is fun, funny, understanding and considerate. The course material is a lot and difficult if you've never been exposed to it before. She uses her own website and handouts which helps enormously but you still must put in a lot of time in this course.

easiest class in UCC. It's basic. Do the assignments correctly and you have no problems. She's helpful, does half the work for you, If you need or must take CIS 100 YOU MUST TAKE HER. She won't even let you buy that big, expensive book. She uses the short version at cheap rates. Great Professor

I think very highly of this professor, she is full of information. The class can be extremely overwhelming if you are not familiar with the Internet. There is a huge amount of information to learn; however she is extremely helpful and does take consideration of great effort as long as you do your assignments on time and revise them you will do fine

CIS100 with prof. Greenbaum is not easy, but very helpfull. Professor actually tries to help students and improve their skills

She is a great teacher! I learned a lot about the computer programms:PawerPoint, Excel, World, Mail Merge... and much more!!! Truth is that you have to study hard, and spend many hours doing the assignements, but this is the best way of learning:)

This prof knows extremely well her field. She focus her lecture to the real world which makes the topic even more interesting. Before taking her class, I had just a little knowlege about: World,Exel,Powerpoint. But mow I am a "guru" working on any of these peograms.

Great teacher. No book for the course, but a lot of videos.Practice a lot on Sam do the work and attend class. Brush up on your math to do excel spreadsheets for extra projects but they are life skills for the future.

Great Professor! Gives alot of challenging work. Has a unique way of teaching. You just have to try everything, does not expect you to "get" everything. Is always available and very helpful. I would definitely take her class again. She feels it is ok to make mistakes and you learn more by making them then finding out "how" to correct them.

If you are looking for a challenging course, which you will learn tons of NEW materials, then I recommend a course with Prof Greenbaum. She absolutely knows her stuff. CIS covers a lot of material, and she doesn't expect you to be perfect. She even brings healthy treats to class!

The class was pretty easy if you already know some computer basics. I failed because of attendance issues but it couldn't be helped. I really enjoyed the class and had fun doing the projects. She knows what she's doing and won't steer you wrong.

Prof Greenbaum is an excellent teacher. She extends herself far and thin to make sure the point is across before you leave the class. So far I've learned so much and yet only through half the class. I can't wait to see what other class I can take that she teaches. If only other Prof can be like her, she is one of the best that I've had.

Pro G. is an excellent professor. She extends herself throughout the course. The information is all on the Angel website or SAM program and she goes through as much as possible in class. If you are there you will pass.Prof makes you feel like failing is not an option.... I appreciate all she has done for me.

CIS 120-008 She is a super sweet lady, just make sure you do the work. Make sure you keep up with the calendar so you won't fall behind. She will help you with any question you may have, very positive person. You might feel she is all over the place a bit, but she has the best intentions at heart.

Mrs. G is a little eccentric but a great teacher. She doesnt make you get the textbook and she puts more emphasis on you grasping the material as opposed to testing you on facts. She is always available and willing to help and will spend extra time whenever you ask. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent teacher, but sometime move a little to FAST. I enjoy her, but at times she needs to review what she has taught step by step for us note takers.

While Professor Greenbaum can be mildly eccentric, she clearly is ahead of the pack in terms of her understanding of the future of education. She is intelligent and understands the class material well. Work is hands on and we do not use a book (a big plus in my mind). She is demanding, but is also fair and honest. I recommend her classes.

Okay so lets get one thing straight.. She is like no other teacher I have ever had and it takes a little adjusting to her eccentricity. But once you do she is a brilliant professor who absolutely loves teaching. She wants you to learn as opposed to memorizing the methodology. Unlike other teachers, Maureen genuinely wants you to learn and succeed.

I'm not a fan of this class in general. It's really just a bunch of busy work, but since it's a requirement there's not much you can do about it. That aside, Professor Greenbaum, while very excitable, is passionate about the material and strives to apprise students of its value. DON'T BUY THE BOOK. She only requires the SAM ACCESS CODE.

First of all ignore all the comments people posted here. They are just lazy. The class does involve lots of Sams exams and projects. But it takes no longer than 30 minutes. It gets really tough when you have one project after a other, so you really have to set time for yourself aside at home if you want to get stuff done. She helps students 24/7.

I enjoyed this class big time. I got to work with my classmates and she help the class whenever we have asked for help. She provided me with advice and knowledge not only class material but in careers and life. It does get hard once you have to keep up with the countless SAM and GCF. But it all pays off cause she preparing us for 4 yr University.

Learned a boat load of things from this class that I didn't expect to and it was good revision for the Microsoft Office stuff I already knew how to do. It was a good class, if you manage your time and work load it goes by smoothly.

Professor Greenbaum was one of the best professors I ever had. She really just wants to get her students ready and prepared for their future. She is very clear on assignments.
