Her class is an Easy A because she gives bundles of extra credit. Her exams are multiple choice but she makes you do an oral presentation, which i loathed. (Because i am horrible at speeches).

Prof. Moore is a great teacher, very funny and energetic. She loves humanities and wants to let every one of her students know it. This is my 2nd time taking a class with her, she's fairly hard on work but pretty easy.

Well where do i start... Energetic yet annoying, difficult class have to memerize paintings, painters, eras, dates, styles, not to bad if you make flash cards, but I consider myself to be quite studious, yet this class will bore you to death!

As fair any REAL college teacher could get. She assigns a ton of work, handouts particularly, but it's practically the semester's worth of homework lumped together in one packet. As long as you can manage this workload and follow specific instructions for her projects, you're set. With regards to her teaching and personality, all top-notch.

Moore is a very fair and nice professor. She does assign A LOT of work, but most of it's not that difficult. Her essays are a little hard because you have to write like 8 pages on a subject that could be explained in a paragraph. I was doing really well in her class but was forced to crop out at the last minute because i couldnt complete an essay.

Fair, fun, and extremely knowledgable in her field. College has always been pretty easy, this class is a little bit more difficult than most. Exuberant is how I would key her personality. Keep up with the workload, show up to class, do good on tests. Basic stuff can get you an A.

Doesn't assign too much homework, but is very picky about her essays. She likes them long and written pretty much perfectly because she is a tough grader. I seem to study tons but do bad on quizes because you really have to read her questions carefully.. She tricks you.

She's one of my favorite teachers! Her lectures are interesting and I really learned a lot. She's really nice and helpful also! She's fair when it comes to grading. I got a D in the class because I never studied and I missed the midterm, which is probably more than generous! Some thick, boring packets to read. Overall a really great class!

Prof. Moore is awesome! I loved this class. Exams are mostly based off lectures, so take very good notes. Weekly journal entries on Blackboard are also part of the class. She also requires attending an event outside lecture. Overall, if you are interested in the subject, I recommend this class & prof.

Like all classes, if you want to do well go to it. Does take attendance, really helpful though. Just ask, I had an emergency in middle of semester, was cool and worked with me.

(Asian Humanities). She is AWESOME! very nice, but hard grader on papers. All quizzes and exams are exactly from the study guide so do them and you will get A's. take good notes. she has 2 exams and 2 papers (four pages each). the course can get a little overwhelming because she gives lots of homework. There are questions from the book.

The beginning of the class was sort of fun, but dragged on towards the end. She would sometimes ramble about a bunch of stuff. Her quizes and exams are fair, but the Islam in Spain paper is a killer. She grades pretty hard on essays. Lectures are pretty dull and puts you to sleep. I would not take her again.

The class is pretty fair. If you do all your work, you'll do well. The Islam in Spain essay is very difficult, but that's about it. The tests are hard, so STUDY. She is a VERY VERY HELPFUL & interesting teacher. She takes attendance so be PROMPT! Also, she teaches passionately and is EXTREMELY SMART! I would RECOMMEND taking her for HUM300.

I took this class for a GE requirement, but I am actually glad I ended up taking it. This was her first time teaching Latin American Humanities and I wanted to learn about my culture. She certainly knows her stuff and can help you if you need to. Really nice woman, too. I wouldn't mind taking a class with her again.

Professor Moore is a great professor. She is very kind and has a great teaching method that keeps the class awake. She shows a lot of compassoin towards her Asian students because she teaches Asian Humanities and has an understanding and knowledge of many Asian cultures and traditions.

She is very clear on what will be on her exams/quizzes and is very willing to help hr students succeed by answering any questions and even meeting with you on her own time outside of office hours. She's very very very helpful and is determined for you to pass. hw isn't too often and she gives you plenty of time to get it done and tests are fairly easy as long as you take notes!

please listen to me when i say don't take this professor! she gives you way too much homework and treats her students like 1st graders. She's very intelligent and helpful, I'll give her that but besides that she grades really hard, she's really anal about her papers, they have to be perfect with absoulutely no errors.

Moore is a fantastic teacher. I had no interest in Humanities before this class. Many students think she is hard because of the amount of work she gives out but it really is not that much. You have to take notes and study, but you don't have to kill yourself while trying to get an A. Moore makes history and art very interesting.

This teacher is very helpful, especially if you attend her office hours. She is particular about the homework, but will allow you to repeat as many times need so you can get 100%. The class is only difficult if you make it by not attending class and not taking notes.

I took this class in Fall 2010 without any interest in Humanities and ended up loving it. She makes it so interesting! Do not text in her class or waste her time because she really just wants you to learn. She gives you all the answers to the study guide and her study guides ARE the tests. Take her class!

Easy A. She gives you the questions to the tests and quizzes before hand. She's a really sweet lady and is always bubbly. Don't have to buy the Asian Art book, she uses it very sparingly. Just go to the library reserve desk if she assigns hmk from it.

I don't know how Prof. Moore did it, but this class was actually quite interesting. Yes, it is TONS of work. Lots of reading, lots of writing, lots of studying! However, if you come to class everyday and take notes and go to her office hours when you need help, you should be alright.

This was my first ever college class and it was a work load for a first time college student. Now I'm in my second year and thinking back at it, it was pretty easy. Her study guides have questions that ARE IN THE SAME EXACT QUIZ!!!! 2 5 page papers bases on the readings. They were okay for the most part. I Liked Mrs. Moore and would take her again.

I actually took her class a year ago and I absolutely adore her. I had a D by the midterm (got the flu & missed 2 weeks) but worked my way up to a B. Pay attention, take notes, show up for office hours, MEMORIZE, and take those study guides seriously. It's a straight forward class and her enthusiasmpassion for humanities is very enjoyable.

Nice person, but she does too much. Expects you to know everything about every topic. There's a lot of work to do within the same time frame. If you're not a humanities major, don't take it. The textbook is online.

This class was way harder than I expected a Humanities class to be. But, she is one AMAZING professor. She makes you work hard, but you will learn a lot from her and this class. She makes sure you have between 6-9 hours of weekly homework because thats what the state of CA says. 3 big papers thought the semester, almost like an English writing class. There are multiple assignments per week, some due on days there isnt class. Essay question exams and quizzes.

Shes very knowledgeable and insightful about the material and offers a very meaningful perspective on the subjects she teaches. Her tests are directly from the material, she gives many resources and constantly keeps upto date on things. Works to remove busy work and gives many options for extra credit through the semester.

Professor Moore is such a good professor. She makes online classes so easy and enjoyable. She provides photocopies of the textbook and will allow students to use free online versions of the other text materials too. There is a lot of creative writing and she provides instructional videos and short outlined lectures that I find the most helpful.

Super caring & understanding. She does load you up with work though. But as long as you put in the effort & work, you should still get a good grade. You're assigned to create your own Blogger & blog monthly about your readings into 3 paragraphs. Easy 2-3 question quizzes, no exam. LOTS of "TAG" (peer feedback to class group discussions).

Lots of weekly reading, but that was because this class was fully asynchronous. If you don't have a passion for Art, Literature, or History, I wouldn't recommend this class because that is pretty much all it is. Professor Moore is an angel on Earth and really cares, so if you reach out to her she will work with you.

She gives extensions if needed, but as long as you follow the rubric and do all the work her class is an easy A. She is always ready to help and ensure her students succeed.

I adored Prof. Moore, she's such a great professor. This was my first ever humanities class and I loved every second. She cares for students and genuinely wants them to succeed. Be warned tho, you have to do a blog every week, and while it's fun it can be a bit much, but she gives extra credit. Definitely would take her other courses.
