She is real easy to pass. i learned a lot from that class.. her projects are so easy but they really come out nice... If u put the effort into them but... she can get a little annoying if ur late to class u need to apologize in front of the whole class and u can not leave class until u tell her wat u learned in her class on that day.

i brought a 50 dollar text book. we've never used it. the class is interesting she is pretty helpful but kind of annoying some of the time. shes pretty fair in the grading department.

Wonderful, pecky professor! She will teach you hot keys, and make you memorize all steps.

She acts like we're in kindergarten. Her skills as a designer aren't very good, but you will learn a bunch of hotkeys and the basics of Adobe Photoshop in her Digital Imaging class.

The BEST Vector Art professor! You'll know a lot of tools in Illustrator, but she lets you know how to use shortcut keys so you can produce your work efficiently. She's a fair grader, and her humor and charm make the class a lot of fun. She's the first professor I've taken where I'm disappointed when class ends. Take her! You won't regret it!

She is amazing!!! When I took her class I did not know anything about Photoshop thanks to her I end up learning most of her leassons and now I know how to use photoshop!!Take her class don't be afraid!

Regarding her Photoshop class-The grading system doesn?t seem to be based on how you as an individual did but rather on how you did compared to other students(who may already know PS).It seemed the only way you could get an A was to already have had PS skills.Keep checking w/ her about ur grade on projects because she won't volunteer that info.

One of the best classes I took this year - she knows her stuff and loves it! She crams a lot of information in but gives you real world skills and teaches you how to work smart. The work we did in her class compared to the other Raster/Vector classes was in a completely separate league all together. If you can take her class I highly recommend it!

Professor Maureen is the professor to go to. She is really helpful and always puts her students first.. and even takes her spare time to work things over with you. A very awesome professor, I highly recommend taking her for the Rastor & Vector course. You are guaranteed to learn many MANY things with Photoshop & Illustrator. Missing a class could result in missing A LOT of information & could also result in being left behind. Any student who is new to adobe, will definitely leave at the end knowing so much.

At the beginning of the semester, one task was to set a SMART Goal & I must admit I was surprised I attained mine at the end of it. I was intimidated by Adobe Illustrator & avoided it at all costs prior to Prof. Neuringer's class. Her teaching style is great as she is ready to help at all times. She covers a lot in a session so don't miss a class!

She is really good. I like the part where in the end of class she asked "Tell me what you learn today?" For me it's a review of what I learned and sometimes it's a good time to write down some notes while others are sharing.

She attempts to drill in your head what you learned at the end of class. You get the sense that she cares that you remember what you've learned and that you succeed. A rare professor at a community college. I recommend her If you really don't know the programs , and if you do it's still A great class.

Neuringer's personality and ethics stand far above the rest when it comes to City Tech professors. She is vibrant, caring and understanding in every sense of the word. She teaches the basics of programs like Photoshop and Illustrator and does so flawlessly. Students are encouraged to use their individuality and creativity in all of their projects.

She's good with showing you photoshop and Illustrator. She also asks at the end of each class on what you learn to refresh on each lesson.

I had some personal issues going on during our semester and she let me completely make up the work with no penalty and was always asking if I was feeling better. Great professor, I only wish we had more time together.

I had her for print production class but she gave our class so many tips on how to use the Adobe software as well. I just feel I learned so much from her.

Definitely would take this class again if I had the chance, unfortunately I was not able to make it to every class, but when I was there she was very helpful and made me appreciate Illustrator. I learned a lot there. She's very understanding and knows how to have fun while keeping the class on track. The average workload is 1 assignment/week.

Professor Neuringer is the best professor I ever had while in college. She takes her time teaching her students and makes sure that they are learning something. After taking her class, I learned how to use illustrator, became better at using the pen tool and she introduced me to a lot of cool projects.

COMD 3711: She is the best professor I have ever met! She will teach you a lot about the use of Illustrator, and teach your skills are very useful! I am not a native English speaker, and my English is not good, but she is really patient and nice. As long as you do your homework carefully, I don't think you can get a low score.

She makes sure that you understand the assignment and carefully walks step-by-step instructions with you. You need to turn in assignments and homework on time and participate in the class.

One of the most inspirational professors, I was the only one in my class struggling with the pen tool and was so frustrated that I couldn't get it. She helped me figure out where I was going wrong and made a lesson plan to help everyone perfect their pen tool technique. If that isn't dedication I don't know what is, she cares for all her students.

The projects overall were fun to do, and don't forget the discussions because they are easy to forget to do. Geuinely Prof. Neuringer is one of the best professor's of COMD I've ever taken. If you want a professor who is understanding and actually sits down with you and walk you through any question/problems in class this is the professor for you. Going into COMD3711 I was never confident in my work and but after this class I gained some.

11/10 Professor. She kept all her students interested throughout the whole semester and even asked how SHE could improve at the end of the course. Never met a more caring, thoughtful professor than her. Work was interesting and she will guide you through each assignment when you're struggling with something. Super supportive.
