Wolverton does a great job synthesizing the readings and coursework, and really encourages everyone for the co-circulars. No final exam- but there's a presentation and was flexible. She emails and posts on Blackboard weekly, and even writes on the board and begins each day with what the day/week brings. Definitely recommend her for LIB100!

TOUGH GRADER!! one bad grade and you will not get an A. However, she makes you turn your paper in a week early to get feedback this is good for procrastinators and helps you get a better grade. You will just have to try hard.

Professor Wolverton is the best! I call her 'my mom professor'. She really wants to get to know her students and cares about them. She is passionate about liberal education and actually changed the lives of some of my classmates this semester. Definitely recommend this class and Professor Wolverton.

Ridiculous workload. Horrible feedback on drafts and when you ask her for help she tells you to ask a librarian. Gives huge projects and still assigns other work to be done. Has you read and revise your classmates 5-7 page papers instead doing it herself. Im used to putting in work for a class but this is ridiculous, I do NOT recommend taking her

I would never take Professor Wolverton again, honestly the worst professor I've ever had. Her feedback is HORRIBLE on everything that you submit and you'll be extremely frustrated trying to communicate with her because she is so dense. She'll tell you that you did everything perfect and then gives you a B. DO NOT TAKE her online if you can help it!

I had Professor Wolverton for this course focused on the Great Lakes. I throughly enjoyed the assignments as they were straight forward as long as you read the book. It's truly worth a read and helps you on the quizzes. Take this class if you need a quick 1-credit six week course.

Maureen Wolverton is the worst Professor i have had. Don't take this class. She assigns way too much homework during the week. She doesn't understand that we have life outside of school such as working 40 hours a week. I don't recommend anyone to take her!!

Maureen Wolverton is a nice professor but a terrible professor. Assigns way to much homework for a summer class. She stresses out students who work 40 hours a week on top of a lot of homework for Life Journey. You are required to get 3 books which are interesting but its a lot of reading.

She is a great professor who is very nice, very knowledgable and cares about her students. But she assigns a lot of homework and it is very time consuming for a gen ed. There is a lot of reading, videos to watch, writing, and attending events outside of class. But if you need help she is very gracious.

Professor Wolverton is a decent professor. I took her Life Journey's class this summer and it was ok. For how much homework we have to do throughout that class, do not take it as a summer class. Overall, she knows her stuff and cares about her students but assigns way too much homework.

I would never recommend this teacher to anyone, out of all of the level 100 classes I've taken this has been the hardest. My level 400 INT classes aren't time-dependent and challenging as she sets things up. I felt like I had to say something about her because she is honestly a bad teacher. She grades tough and assigns a lot of homework. RUN!

She is a very nice person and gives good feedback. There is a lot of work in this class in my opinion, discussions every week and can be difficult to keep track of as it is an asynchronous course. She took student feedback and gave us updates throughout the week which was amazing. Homework/discussions are usually graded easily, they just take time.

Worst professor at GV by far. One of those professors that does not believe in perfection and will do everything in her power to mark you down to a B. Disappointed in GV that they would hire someone who very clearly does not know how to teach.

Assigns a lot of discussion board assignments. Lots of writing too. I did all the assignments and still got a C+ because she marked down heavily on subjective things on stuff like the assignments for going to campus events and write about what we did there. The final essay flagged me for plagiarism, I would've failed if I didn't annoy her by email

I did well in this class, but took up so much of my time. I took this class thinking it was going to be an easier class because I was taking 3 300-level classes. The final exam is what made me the most upset because this is a 100-level class and I should not have to write 3 essays that are 2-3 pages each. I would not recommend this professor.

Take LIB 100/INT 100 with Maureen! I promise it will be the most important class of your life.
