Professor Penny is a great communicator and makes a difficult lab achievable. Naturally, there is a lot of memorization that goes into A&P lab, but he works individually with students to help them find a study tactic that works best for them.

It's clear Professor Penny really cares about his students success and he's really easy to reach out to. He responds to emails quickly. By nature, A&P has a lot of memorizing and work to do but he makes it very manageable.

Professor Penny give you time to do your work and he is there whenever you have questions or advice on any assignment or lecture questions. He will respond as fast as you can. I have take his class online and in lecture and he does an amazing job. I recommend taking his class for either BIOL 2402 or BIOL 2401 this even includes his lab classes.

Professor Penny is by far one of the best professors I've ever had! If something is wrong, he will be very lenient with you. He also gives you enough time to get all of your work done. He's a genuine and humble person, if you need to take AP 2, take it with him. You won't regret it!

I absolutely loved having Mr. Penny. HIs class is Anatomy so the material can get a little difficult but he is very understanding if you fall behind. He really cares for his students and loves what he does. He made the class easier during these hard times of Covid.

I learned a lot from taking this class this semester. Professor Penny cares about his students and actually cares that his students is learning the material instead of just memorizing, He always responds to emails and whenever you need help with something in his class he has flexible (ZOOM) office hours and he communicates well with his students.

Professor Penny cares so much about his students. His responses to emails are 9/10 are going to come either same day or following day. As long as you communicate with him and get the help you need (if needed) you will succeed.

I had the privilege of taking Professor Penny's A&P LAB class, and he was super encouraging and motivating. I did struggle at first, but he always reached out to me to set up zoom meetings to talk about what else HE can do in order to help ME. Everything you need to know for the exams are in the reviews, so PLEASE do not be lazy and take them!

I took Anatomy & Physiology I & the lab with Prof. Penny. I don't think I've ever had a class challenge me in a way this class did. But I did learn a lot. Labs are pretty heavy, so make sure you study a lot. The exams are okay and the quizzes are okay. You need to have a schedule with this class as there is a lot to do for it. Very caring Professor

Professor Penny is a great professor who actively communicates with his students and is always available for questions. His class is a lot of work but Professor Penny is great about ensuring his class is organized and students know exactly what is excepted of them and when its due. I think professor penny was amazing! The assignments are easy to access on black board. The thing I like most was the quizzes and tests reviews/PowerPoints are very resourceful for studying. Overall I would take him him again if I had to! Take him, you won't regret him.

Quiz reviews are very helpful for exams. If you have any questions he responds very quickly through email. Stay on top of homework so that you don't fall behind.

I love having Professor Penny for my anatomy class. He explained everything very well and made sure that you stayed on task for meeting deadlines. And he was very quick to respond to any questions that you may have.

He is very good at always being there to help! It's a&p, so the class alone is hard. But his quiz practices are a HUGE help when it comes time to take the actual quiz and even a bigger help for the chapter exams. He is always checking on you and seeing how he can help. Great professor!

Professor Penny is a great choice for a teacher. The lecture class is about 15 quizzes and 4 exam. Lab is filled with Lab Practical Exams and Pearson assignments. Do the reviews he gives you and you will pass. You will have to work for your grade, it is not going to be handed you. Do reviews over and over and you will be fine.

Professor Penny is awesome! The lecture class has multiple quizzes and about 5 exams. For the lab class you are given weekly labsters, pearson assignments and for the semester a total of 3 lab practicals. Although is heavy work he does a great job in providing reviews for quizzes and lab practicals. Do the work and stay on top of the due dates !

Instructor was amazing, loved his overall class. WORK is going to pile up if you don't meet deadlines, but make sure you do the reviews multiple times and it'll be very helpful through the entire course. He provides great feedback and a lot of opportunities to do good.

I was lucky enough to take Professor Penny for lecture and Lab so my assignments lined up well together. No matter who you take, anatomy definitely has a lot of work, but that's why I admire Prof. Penny because he allows you to take your time on your assignments. He also gives reviews. Does give out a good amount of work. Very understanding and extremely easy to reach at anytime. Most I've had to wait for a response was 10 mins. Do the reviews over and over again right away and test early. Then class will be a breeze, just DO THE REVIEWS. the practice are not graded so you can test over 20 times til you get the grade you want.

It is very easy to reach him, and while the work may be overloading, I can tell he cares about his students. This class will be very hard for dual credit students, but if you make the time for practicing reviews, you should be able to pass relatively well.

This class is fairly easy if you just stay on track and do all your exams and quizzes. Those are the only assignments you have and all you have to do is do the reviews over and over until you know the answers.

Awesome professor he is super helpful and easy to reach. Your grade will be made up of Exam and quizzes, which may seem a bit difficult at times but if you do the reviews then you should be fine. I took him for just my lecture class online and work is very clear and just have to get work done on your own time before the due date and you will pass. Easy class just do the work !

Professor Penny gives you all the tools that you need to pass the course, PowerPoints, books, Q&A, etc. He gives you reviews for each quiz and exam. Do them multiple times and once you get multiple and consistent passing scores, then you should be ready to take the quiz/exams. Tough class but good class.

I tried taking this class FOUR TIMES. Yes, you read that right. I was sure that this attempt would be like the rest. The first three attempts were with a different professor. Needless to say, I wish I had taken Professor Penny from the beginning. He was easy to talk to and very understanding of what students need to succeed. I highly recommend him.

Professor Penny is a one-of-a-kind professor. He is going to leave it up to you to receive the grade you earn. However, you need to make sure you are managing your time wisely if not you are going to overwhelmed. Definitely would take this course again.

I learned a lot better with Professor Penny compared to my other professors I have taken for this course at a different university! I was able to pass with a B and feel very accomplished with this course.

He's an amazing teacher who allows you multiple opportunities to catch up and do better. While it may have been just because it was a dual credit course and he tried to help us out a lot, we did get a lot of useful feedback from him. You will have a ridiculous amount of homework but if you apply yourself and stay on track, you should be good.

Very good professor, does give a lot of work, and quizzes, but he lets you take reviews as much as you want to practice and get a good grade. He also responds very quickly to any emails, if you have a question.

Dr Penny is a phenomenal professor, he is very straightforward, organized, and understanding. Taking his course of Anatomy and Physiology 1 has improved the way I study and learn the material. Highly recommend this professor as his way of teaching is different from the traditional way of teaching. saves time and is more effective.

The class was hard because of the material and how much you need to cram for the tests but if you do the reviews he provides you will 100% pass the tests. The reviews are the potential test questions but shuffled around so if done enough time you will be prepared. He provides everything you need to pass the class AND he is very funny/likable!

The most important thing in his class is to stay on top of your work don't let it pile up. He assigns a good amount of stuff, but so long as you do them when you are supposed to it is manageable.

i always had this look at biology as hard and the lessons would be really hard. As he provided us resources on each lesson and chapter he gave me a different look at biology which made me love biology now.

I would say to do well in class you have to stay on top of the assignments. Don't let things pile up and actually practice multiple times with the practice quizzes and exams provided, they are VERY helpful.

The majority of the assignments were independent and he does not offer any type of extension but the work is fair. Most of the learning comes from practice quizzes and exams and would rarely use textbooks

Professor Penny is understanding of a college student's schedule and allows to take tests and quizzes when we have the time to. Tests are easy to study for because of the study practice test he gives us. Great professor overall. My advice to anyone who takes this class, don't wait last minute to complete everything.

Very understanding prof there were deadlines but he would never mark you late for anything because he says he understands students do have a life outside of school. Always willing to help and elaborate ,answers emails fast, caring and funny ! easy A take him !

BIOL2401 is a class you can't just put off, but Professor Penny makes it very clear of what's expected from his students on the very first day. He teaches students the art of how to learn and how to grow as a student as well as being funny and having students engaged during lectures. I took this as an 8-week summer course and highly recommend him.

There is a lot of work in the course from Quizzes, exams, pearson hw, and lab practicals. It is easy to fall behind if you are not on top of things but due dates aren't set. Do the reviews as the questions in them will be on the quiz and exams. You will learn more with the reviews than with what you read.

Professor Penny is amazing! He is passionate about what he teaches, and wants his students to be too. Grades are based on quizzes for each chapter and exams for 2-4 chapters at a time. He gives reviews for each quiz and exam, which really help if you complete them repeatedly. Would definitely recommend taking him for A&P I!

I took BIOL 1308(which isn't a listed option) but Dr. Penny was such a great professor and understood the college life. Work wasn't due to the end of the semester but it is so much easier to do it each week so it doesn't pile up. Also weekly quizzes are NOT hard as long as you read the material and do the reviews.

Very laid back professor with a good attitude. Very funny and is on task with the work. It's easy as long as you study and don't fall back on doing your assignments, quizzes, and exams.

Professor Penny has a way of picking at students brains. You can tell he is passionate about the subject he teaches. Homework is really just take home quizzes, followed up by exams. An easy class to pass as long as you're eating attention. Would take him again for a science course.

Fun professor; be aware that he will not cover all the content due to going on tangents and discussion a lot in lecture, so do LOTS of reviews on ur own and you will do just fine on quizzes and exams (these are online + no HW). He gives u 2 attempts on them as well as extra credit opps. pretty easy to get a A if u try and prepare!!

Dr. Penny is very funny and easygoing, but he would usually get distracted and go out of topic instead of explaining the content in the slides. His quizzes and exams are pretty easy if you do a lot of reviews, and you also get two attempts, so it is a pretty easy class. If you want an easy A, take his class, but you won't learn a lot.

I absolutely loved this class! As a high school student taking dual credit Anatomy and Physiology, I found this class very challenging. However, Dr. Penny is a fun and hilarious professor always open to questions, tutoring, and help when needed! He replies very fast to his emails and prepares us for every concept presented in class. 11/10!

Maurice Penny is honestly one of the best professors that a student can have. He doesn't ask too much of you and engages the class to be open to a different way to study. The student has the majority of control over their grade, and if a student ever has questions he does his best to respond as soon as he can.

I was nervous about this class, but Penny was able to ease the stress for me. Lectures are not that bad, he cracks jokes every now and then, but the information is very easy to follow, all you got to do is follow along and DO YOUR PRACTICE TESTS!!! It will help with your exams!!
