Just the fact that he could speak 5 languages is enough for anyone to see that he's capable enough to teach an easy course like INB200, I wish I could have him for all the INB courses.

Best professor for SIB470 (effective selling)Extremly easy professor, tests are fair, assignments are fair and easy and he is a great prof all around. I took him for INB200/220 and SIB470, both classes I got A+ 4.0 GPA with him.

This professor was my teacher in China.He changed many of our life there and gave us the gift of been a better person, sad those who do not appreciate his wisdom,lazy, stupid and insecure people like to put him down, we wish we could have in China more teacher like him.

Few years ago I posted a nasty review for this professor MP, I was mad to the world and a total idiot. I failed his course, hated him and called him names.Now I am a man with much success have my own business , returned to school took his course again and changed my life 360o , thanks to Mr MP I am a man of worth and lucky to be his student.

His big plus is that he makes students feel confident, especially international students. He motivates and gives the chance for bonus marks; therefore, it is easy to get high grades. But, he does not teach the subject material! If you just want to get an A and make fun, choose him; but if you need subject knowledge, choose someone else.

please make sure you always make a good connection with him like have any problem talk to him , don't late in class, don't skip class. If you don't understand any assignment talk to him he is going to help you BUT one more thing he is always talks about himself ( like went to china , done that work , he is famous in china and so on ).

If you want to get the best education at Seneca college take Maurice Platero class. The best teacher and great motivator who cares for his students.

Prof Platero is a very caring professor. He is the best professor I ever have. He always motivate students to do his best and encourage you to perform! He motivates us and always stand at students' side. If you have a chance to take his class, you should take him, you will be rewarding!

Forget all these naysayers. Even though he didn't show any favoritism in our classes, HE IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER PROFESSOR YOU"LL EVER GET. Assignments and projects are extremely lenient and he teaches you beyond the lessons. I don't know what else would you look for in a professor :)

Pretty sure all the bad reviews for this professor is by people who rarely attended the class and got bad grades bc of their own negligence. This professor is quite funny, cares about his students and knows what he's doing. If he tells you to grab every opportunity, grab it. You will not be left unrewarded. course is easy once you go with the flow.

I'll be frank to any students going though this board deciding whether or not to take him: consider that most are going to write negative things if they do poorly. Genuinely was one of my favourite classes - it wasn't the easiest class but was a fun challenge that pushed me out of my comfort zone. You only get what you put in - remember that.

He's a genuine and down to earth professor who tends to show he cares through "tough love." Yeah, most students see this as "bullying," If you accept his form of care, he'll help you with so many aspects of life outside college.

At first, you might find this professor very strict, and the process might even feel a bit uncomfortable. But by the end, it will become an unforgettable experience—because he's a professor who is truly passionate about teaching. You'll learn so much from him, and it's absolutely worth it.

When I first started and saw the mixed reviews, I was scared. But then I got to meet him and he is an incredible professor, he cares a lot about his students and is understanding about the assignments. Most of the class assignments are presentations which helps gain a little bit of confidence over time. I would a 100% take him again.
