This class can be an easy a as long as you read over the chapters and do the weekly MES assignments. Read over the labs as well in order to get the lab questions on the test. You really don't need to go to class as long as you read the chaptersstudy at home. He's a cool guy, big lecture class.

This is by far the easiest class I have taken this semester. All you have to do is the required MES assignments and you'll have the knowledge to do well on test day

In all honesty if you really want to get a good grade and learn about the environment this class is for you. He has a tendency to be monotonous in his speech, but the class was really easy and somewhat informative. There were only 4 tests but they were straight-forward and came straight from the lectures, if you want to get extra-cred goto class.

Great Professor, cares about his students! If you don't make an A in this class it's your fault. Book provided test was confusing, so he substituted test, with questions submitted by students. Lots of extra credit. Attendance not mandatory but u benefit from attending! Treats students with respect and wants to change your view of environment.

Attendance doesn't matter at all. Test aren't long & not hard! I did not study at all and passed them all, surprisingly. There are online assignments too that help with overall grade! This class is one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. You could not study for his tests and still get a solid C. He has 4 tests and that's it. Class is not mandatory. If you miss a test, you have to write everything you know over the tested chapter, so don't miss a test if possible. Textbook not needed, no homework

Professor Crocker is one of the most laid back and nicest professors there is. He makes sure that everyone that comes to class passes. He puts his classes into periods so the class isn't frustrating and doesn't seem as long. He doesn't make the material hard either. This will be the easiest and most enjoyable science class you will take in college. Easy A if you study for your tests and come to class for all quizzes. Gives random pop quizzes (usually on Fridays) and they are 1-2 questions (everyone makes a 100 if you pay attention). Attendance isn't mandatory, but you will get a "0" if you miss a quiz

In SCI 1102 he knows that the people who are taking the class most likely dont care about the class, and are just getting science credits in. He gives super easy tests and gives 1-2 question pop-quizzes that he basically tells you the answer to, its just so people come to class. He's super nice and as long as you are there for the quizzes, its easy

Max Crocker is a cool dude and his class is pretty easy. The test are all about interpreting graphs and charts so studying is not needed. Try to go to every class, because he has easy 1 question pop quizzes and that can really boost your grade (worth 160 points out of 560). Each test is worth 100 points and there are 4 tests.

Lectures are long. They may seem useless and you might not feel like you learned anything, but if you want an A, I would advise going to class. If you are okay with a B, then you can easily get one. The grading criteria isn't that clear so make sure you read and understand the grading system on the syllabus.

Max Crocker is the coolest dude. Show up for class and you'll get an A. He gives random pop quizzes that have 1 question each. I never had to study for his tests either. They are all based off of graphs and charts and honestly common sense. I definitely recommend. He's a funny guy to listen too.

I got a C in SCI 1101, and I was really concerned about taking 1102. However this class was a breeze! Every week a "pop quiz" is given, (1 question) and most of the time Crocker gives you the answer and if not makes it pretty obvious which question is the right choice. His test are mostly graphs that we go over in class. Got an A in the class.

This guy is so easy but you HAVE to go to class in order to pass this class. He gives weekly pop quizzes that he gives you the answers for, you just have to be there in order to get credit. For exams, just read the articles he shares on twitter and read over and links that he posts on the timeline for that exam and you'll get at least a B.

Mr. Crocker was a very interesting teaacher. His classes are kinda weird and so are his tests. The tests don't really have anything that you can study for and you don't really know what will be on the tests, but they always end up being easy. Overall, probably the best teacher for this class if you're trying to do good though.

He focused mainly on resources for success and how to write a research paper. 60% of grade was mastering homework, 40% 4 tests. Take home tests and would let us rework problems we got wrong for full credit. We didn't learn one thing about BIO1108 but if you're not taking any upper level BIO courses I would definitely recommend him. Such an easy A.

Hes a nice guy, so personable! The homework is easy to find on Quizlet, the quizzes are also easy. They come from the homework, which can be reopened, and he applauds people for using that resource. It is hard to prepare for his tests though, because his lectures don't prepare you for them at all, so the best thing to do is go back to study the hw.

I really did enjoy Crocker's lab. He is one of the nicest and most caring professors and he always talks to his students about non school related things. A TA taught the lab, however the work isnt overwhelming at all. There are two full lab reports that you have plenty of time to do and as long as you follow directions on each lab you will do good. The grading isnt harsh at all and the class is pretty fun.

This class is a really easy A. I maybe showed up to one class and ended up with a 100%. If you made anything lower than that, you just didnt try. There is plenty of extra credit and easy homework and tests.

Easy A. If you are a biology or other science major you might want to take another teacher because you wont learn a thing. A big chunk of your grade will come from the assignments on Mastering Biology. Other grades come from assignments/projects. Attendence isnt mandatory but he does announce random assignments/projects in class so you should go.

Dr. Crocker's class is incredibly straight forward. There's about 3 assignments a week that build off each other. He offers credit for missed assignments! You do need to buy the online code for the homework, but I never needed the text itself. As long as you try at all, you'll pass.

Dr. Crocker is honestly a great professor. You can tell he is very laid back, but at the same time he really wants you to do well. You can work at your own pace and get ahead. Very easy class, I showed up on the first day and never again. You don't need the full textbook, just the code to access the homework is good enough. Lab quizzes take 1-2 hours to complete, so be prepared for that. Overall very easy and he seemed nice! (I second the Benjamin Franklin comment) :).

I honestly did not go to his class again after the second week. He was saying things that we really could see online. Everything is on Mastering & D2L. Quizzes and HWs were not hard really. Absolutely easiest class I've ever taken. All the homework and quizzes have multiple attempts and the tests are exactly the same as the quizzes, just way shorter. Only part actually difficult were the lab quizzes, but they're not that bad. Didn't even have a final.

It was a very easy A as long as you completed your assignments (some of them were literally drawings), but I didn't retain much information either. It's a great class for an A but you won't learn much.

I never went to this class because everything was accessible online. If you have time to go, you should because he enjoys having people in class (he's extremely chill). We had lots of assignments, quizzes, and tests and he wasn't strict about the deadline, but I recommend doing it sooner rather than later because it will pile up. Easy class overall

Dude's an icon, we know this. This is my 2nd semester taking him and his motto is "Don't stress". The class is so simple (everything is on Quizlet to 'study' questions). This class is so easy that I'd simply add another class to my semester because this is lightwork. He also makes silly jokes so he's a man of the people.

Literally the easiest 100 ever. Attendance is not mandatory and he is very chill. You have until the last week of class to turn in everything with no penalty. He encourages "working with others" aka he does not care if you share answers. Almost all assignments can be found online. I got a 100 without taking any notes or reading anything. SO EASY

Crocker is so sweet and passionate, doesn't want you to stress & makes class so easy. Attendance doesn't matter, and late work is accepted for full credit. Easy hw & tests. TAKE HIM.

You only need to show up of class for the first few weeks because of discussion posts, but then there is no need. The tests and quizzes are really easy and it is al open note. No group projects or anything like that, some projects but they are very small and can be done in 20 minutes.

Easy professor, easy class, just lots of homework, except the firm deadline for everything isn't until the end of the semester so no sweat. Do take him,

I highly recommend him. Everything was online, and I only went to 1 class the first week of the semester. Everything is at your own pace, and everything is open note. This class was stress free.

Such an easy class. There was a lot of Pearson assignments but they were all due at the end of the year so everything is at your own pace. Literally such a breeze. I quite literally have no idea what this man looks like, I took him for 2 semesters and never stepped foot in class. Pretty much an online class. TAKE HIM

I started out this semester going to class every day but then found out that he didn't really care about attendance and he said we could use open notes for everything including tests. I stopped going and just used quizlet to complete everything and I got a 98. Of course, I didn't learn anything at all or try but it worked for me.

Professor Crocker is amazing in every way. His class is set up as a lot of modules to complete on Pearson, so it's basically just a lot of busy work. But in class he talks about interesting stuff and likes to interact with students. He is very funny, wise, and genuinely cares for his students. I'm sad there's not another class I can take from him!

Dr. Crocker is amazing. I am 44 years old going thru a lot in life. Dr. Croker sets out the roadmap ahead from the beginning. It is up to you how you make use of your time. If u slack, please don't take his class. Assignments, Quizzes, Labs, Reflections and 4 online Exams will get you thru the course if you apply yourself. Thanks Dr. Crocker.

If you are not a science major and want an easy A+...TAKE HIM. So easy all test and quizzes are online, he will open things past due dates, and attendance isnt mandatory!

This class is super chill with an easygoing professor. Assignments, quizzes and exams are straightforward, and you can use unstuck AI and other study tools to breeze through. Definitely an easy A if you put in minimal effort.

GOAT of gen-eds, took him both science, society, and environment. straightforward assignments almost all through pearson, lectures are entertaining, and he is super caring and charismatic. Would take him again if he offered more classes through my program. 10/10

He's the best, please take him! There are a lot of assignments, but all of them are online and very easy. He is very funny, and his lectures are interesting. Barely anyone shows up to class because everything is online.

I took 1101 and loved his class. Lectures can be slow at times but almost all the assignments are online and have multiple attempts with no set due dates. Class isn't mandatory and you could pass not showing up once but I suggest going anyway because he is a sweet guy and loves to see people in class. Will be taking 1102 with him next semester!

Super easy class. Super nice professor. Assignment's are all online so it doesn't matter if you only attended class once. Extends deadlines to whenever you want. Not stressful at all, would definitely take again and recommend to others.

Very lenient on deadlines. Funny teacher that has a very calm personality. Easy to score very high in this class.

All assignments are on McGraw-Hill. And all of the assignments are due at the end of the semester so make sure you plan accordingly for the assignments. He does not answer emails so you can only talk to him in class, but this was the easiest A ever.

Dr. Crocker is an amazing and caring person! If you can take him for SCI 1101 and SCI 1102, I can't recommend him enough. I was overwhelmed with taking 6 classes so he opened up all of his assignments at the beginning of the semester for the whole class and allowed us to complete them at our own pace. He would also give great advice!

I took Professor Crocker for Environmental Science 1101. Straight off the bat, he is such a sweet and caring man. He makes the class enjoyable and the work is not hard at all. Attendance is not mandatory, but you should still come to stay up to date. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing professor. He was very chill with the amount of work he gave, if you mess something up he gives you additional chances (even on tests!). Material isn't hard, I don't see how you could do wrong picking this class.

Professor Crocker is cool! If you are not a Science major and wondering why you even have to take a science class, take this professor! Just make sure to stay on top of your assignments because he doesn't take late credit so it becomes very easy to put them off.

This is such an easy course. If you are one of those people that are actually looking for an in depth teaching of environmental science, then look for someone else. But if you want an easy class to take stress off you, then take this. All the people complaining about it being TOO easy are just looking for something to right about. TAKE HIM.

Loved his class, he was very sweet and made the class super easy to pass. By far the easiest class and the nicest most laid back teacher.

Easy A. Attendance is not mandatory, I only went once and that was the first day of classes. There are no exams or final. Take him if you just need the credit.

Easiest class of my life definitely 5 / 5. Only reason he is not posted like that is because he is too easy and people do not like that, they don't properly learn. So, if you want an easy 100, I recommend this class but if you want to learn about this class do not take him. I also did not show up one single day to class. TAKE HIM IF YOU NEED A 100

If you NEED this class take him, his grading is very simple it's basically just a completion grade. But if you are genuinely interested in this topic I might go with a different professor, Mr. Crocker tends to talk in circles or isn't very clear sometimes.

Professor Crocker is a great professor and also very nice. He grades easily and I did not find my self stressed during this course. I would recommend this class to anyone.

He is awesome best professor ever. He does lab in reasonable hours. You can take test out of class and finish work whenever you want, there's no late submission or too early submission. Everything is basically online so you don't have to come to class if don't need to or want to. He's very funny and is a really cool professor.

Professor Crocker was great! I have never been good at science but this class made so much sense! There's not really exam's but you will have assignments and quizzes due every week. Everything is online and easy to access. I would definitely recommend taking him, and I would take him again!

Tests were on pearson online. You do not have to go to class at all. A lot of times we would get out early. He's the sweetest!
