Professor Schister was extremely an extremely helpful professor, on top of interesting. I entered the class with no interest in geology and left desiring to further research the subject. I highly recommend him to other students.

Professor has very deep knowledge of the subject and is a great teacher. He has emourmous sense of humor and his classes are relly enjoyable. He opened my eyes on the Earth and its processes. The grading is very consistent and fair!!!Great class!

During my research for my presentation, not only did I learn about waterfalls but also how to do a powerful presentation using PowerPoint. Prof. Schuster makes you work for your grade. Professor Schuster made Physical Geology Fascinating! Before entering this class You might think as I did, this class sounded boring,I mean what could be interesting about the earth, rocks, minerals? Prof. Shuster is witty and knows his material. The class is well worth taking. You leave with real world knowledge about things you see and interact with every day. Overall, I would recommend that everyone take this class. My recommendation for taking this class is study your notes every week because everything is important come test time.

In all honesty, I am very disappointed in myself. The first few classes I can say I was contemplating dropping this course, but as the class carried on I realized that this professor is ideal professor. I quickly shut him out and that's one of the biggest mistake I've made here at Touro.

This man is beyond brilliant and can explain the material in numerous ways that all of this students can get a firm grasp on whatever it is he teaching. If I can hit the do-over button I would, this man is an excellent professor and a good person too.

This is my first time attending school in 28 years and I must say I am thankful and grateful to have had Professor Max Schuster as my professor. He makes learning fun and makes sure you completely understand everthing before the class is over. He also makes himself available to stay after class or to communicate via email. Hats off to you Prof Max

Professor Max Schuster is the best professor I've had. He listens to his students, he's very understanding, and patient when a student doesn't understand something he takes the time to go back over the material and he makes his classes very fun and educated. My advice students to take his classes because he's the best at what he does teaching

Professor Schuster is that rare gem of a professor who is knowledgeable, kind, fair, and not a pushover. He gets that course loads are tough and that his class isn't exactly taken by people bananas about rocks. He's there to surprise you and teach you about the science he loves. Treat him with respect, do the 1 assignment well, and you're golden.

He is a model professor. He loves what he teaches, is intelligent, very funny, and knows how to take super complex information and bring it down to a simple form that we can all understand. He has no problem helping students learn or repeating things. I feel very appreciative of the knowledge I had learned about the Earth. He is inspiring.

Had professor for the Spring Geology class, he lectures, you need to take notes, what he says is on midterm and final are on the midterms and finals !!!! Don't expect to skip his class and pass. All and All a great professor. I learned a lot in his class

Professor Schuster was a great teacher I really enjoyed his class. The lesson was really easy along as you know a little Earth Science class you should be okay. Schuster is a really easy grader as long as you participate and attend the classes regularly. Schuster grading system is pretty straight forward

This is probably the only class in my college career that I've never missed. Professor Shuster is very informative, engaging with a subtle wig about him. His class is delightful and I learned a lot from him. I would strongly recommend it and I will miss him dearly!

I really enjoyed taking this class. He's a really good professor. He explains everything thoroughly, repeats if you don't understand, and gives extra examples. Geology is something that i struggled with in high school. He made the topics easy to understand by showing pictures,and videos. Also, with his sense of humor he made the time go by fast.

Professor Schuster is passionate about geology. He knows how to make his subject live and before you know it, you are interested in global warming, volcanoes, rock formations, etc. Professor Schuster has many illustrations that help you get the point. Participate, come to class, pass your test, complete your assignments and you can get an easy A.

Professor Schuster was a really good professor, well spoken and made the lectures very easy and understanding. Everything that was on the midterm and finals he tough us through his own knowledge and did not need a textbook to teach nor read from. Extremely intelligent.

He is one of the best Professors at Touro. He made geology interesting and relatable. He gave examples and told stories on what we learned. All of which can be applied to real-life scenarios. From day one he tells you what is needed from you as a student to get a good grade. The classes were a great experience. Definitely recommend!

I have never read geology before but professor made it easy to understand and I just followed his instructions regarding how can I perform well in class and pass with a good grade. His lectures always attracted me even once I was waiting for him and I was told to go after signing my name because he was late(unintentionally). I didnt want to miss.

I would take any class Professor Schuster taught. He was recommended to me and Im recommending him . He is brilliant. His class is interesting and entertaining. He made it very clear day one what he expected and he is a fair grader. Midterm , power point final. Go to class ,listen to his lecture and you will pass this class. Great experience

Schuster was there for me since the first class. No homework/tests. You need to do a PowerPoint presentation of any topic in geology and midterm and final multiple choice. gives notes and a review sheet. Cares about attendance and participation, he wants to give you an A! It's easier to get an A than to fail his class! He offers help and tutoring!

Participation matters in this class but trust me when I say it's worth it. This is one of the few classes I genuinely enjoyed this semester. This professor is extremely understanding, hilarious, caring and overall a great professor. You also actually learn in this class, and enjoy what you learn. I would recommend taking him if youre thinking of it

Professor Schuster is amazing. He is very good at teaching and although his lectures are long- he makes them enjoyable and has the class engaged. You will be graded only on a presentation you will prepare and then the midterm and final. He truly wants you to do well and if you put in the time and effort you will succeed in his class.

In the beginning I did not think I would find it interesting, but professor made this class amazing and I would recommend it to everyone.

I never thought I would love Geology, but thanks to Professor Schuster I have a new found love of science. He was funny, smart, and very upbeat. He was more than fair and really wants his students to do well, so he goes the extra mile to make it happen.

Great guy, loves to joke. Camera on! will randomly call on you. His midterm & final reviews did not cover exams, so i focused on the wrong topics. Exams are in person. Received a B+ which ruined my 4.0 GPA. I participated in every class, had camera on & gave an awesome presentation, i wish he would have considered that when giving my final grade
