Extremely unclear and unhelpful. Very short with students, she thinks she is better than everyone because she is a DOCTOR!!! I will never take a class with her again.
lecture for the whole class period, and dosen't use the chalkboard to help explain herself. Makes us read the book, and dosent want us to use the books concept, but and only her concepts, becuase she is a "doctor", but in realife, its a Ph.D.
Very clear about whats on her tests. However, there are only a few tests that cover lots of material. The essay portion of the tests are take-home.
I think she's very smart and an excellent teacher. She's always in her office during office hours and she was eager to answer my questions. She was also very patient with the less mature students in my class.
rude to the students above all. thinks she is a better teacher than she is. as unhelpful as a lightbulbwrench. watch out kids if your going to miss a review day DO NOT ask for the take home portion of the test she gets angry when you ask for it.
AS A TEACHER SHE SUCKS! She is very unfair to guy! She is very anti_bias and always seems to know guys around verbal in a way that is very un profesional and should be replace take her office away.
Why is she still teaching she does not care much about the guys in her class always running them down the book she must have writen the book Marriage & Family4th edition/ anti-bias and why would ICC allowed such a book. and a person like that to teach.
Didn't like that there was no homework, quizes, etc and only 3 tests including the final. Loved her lectures though! very interesting. Gave out good studyguides and take home essays!
Smart teacher.Long essays, they are very easy since she makes it very clear what to study.Easy A if study.Since I'm nontraditional student, I think I appreciated her views more.Younger students won't appreciate what they haven't experienced ie family
DON'T EVEN BOTHER if you are a guy! she is incredibly horrible. Big feminist and athiest seriously and literaly. Had to drop 3/4 in. wasted my time money and integrity. please take my advise! more than half the class dropped!
dropped after first assignment. How can you get a thought essay wrong? Read the book, do the essay, but then she says the answer to the essay isn't in the book. Hello were in the heck is the answer? In her brain, maybe.
Rude, unorganized, and not helpful.
Didin't help at all. Promotes her own way of thinking rather than listening to the opinions of others.
AWFUL AWFUL teacher. she might know her stuff but shes not at all interested in teaching it. she comes into the class hoping to fail her students and doesnt mind telling them flat out that she won't give them extra help. this class was well above what a "intro" class should be.
I don't like her. If you ask her a question she'll say to look it up in the book. And yes she is a big femanist!!!!
Horrible teacher!!! Very intelligent, but teaches horrible. The only way to pass the class is to accept what she says or pretend that you do...she doesnt teach what the author believes, only what she thinks. If you have to have this class...find a different professor!!!
I disagree with the other posters completely. I show up SOMETIMES, don't take notes, and look up unfamiliar terms from the extremely detailed study guide and easily get A's on my tests. On essays, just go by your notes and write WELL. I'm taking a 2nd class with her in Fall. WRITE WELL or move on!
This teacher is incredibly intelligent in what she has to say. BUT...her technique in teaching stinks! She knows what shes talking about, yet I dont think she wants everyone else to know. She almost acts like shes "too good" to be teaching at ICC...go somewhere else then...or cant you?!
she could care less about students. she just likes to hear herself talk. avoid her at all costs.
I hated her and the class did not know the diffence between communism and socialism. When there would be a student in class who disagreed with her she would not even hear and would become very angry, sometimes even keeping them after. I felt like she was a junior high teacher not a college proffessor.
The most **** teacher I've ever had and the worst teacher I've ever had. She actually admitted she'd never give a male an 'A' in her class. She sucks, she sucks, and she sucks. She's also full of sh*t. Do Not Get This Teacher.
she reminds me of john madden, right? her examples are pointless and wastes way too much class time. its kind of like watching nascar, right? she just keeps going around and around. shes should of spent more time learning how to teach than her phd, right? this class is baaaaad. my fav quote from class: if i put a ?, that means, "what?"
Horrible teacher! Actually, teacher is the wrong word--she's in the brainwashing business. She blatantly admits that she teaches Soc to reach kids and change their minds about the evils of our society before it's too late. Feminist extreme, socialist ideas bordering on communism. Run, don't walk to get any other prof available.
I have never met Adolf Hitler, But after taking her class I can guess what it would have been like. P.S. If you are a male wanting to take this class, please reconsider. She has told people she will never give an "A" to a male student.
Worst teacher ever. The class was a complete waste of my money and time.
very feminist, i found her class to be a bit uncomfortable at times, i passed but you really need to do work to get a passing grade in this class and what i mean by work is like 5 hrs of studying her material everyday
So 90 people started off in her class this semester and there were 20 remaining when finals came. She goes off on random tangents and confuses you, and the tests are pretty hard. If you are a hard worker, taqke the class but if you aren't, you better get another teacher!
It was very hard to follow this class. Also she made it quite hard to want to participate because i felt as if she always had to be right and if you answered a "question" it had to be exactly what she was wanting. She wasn't open to new ideas or new discussions
extremely hard to follow. Tests you over 5 chapters but only covers 1-2 chapters. Hard to answer questions right b/c only her answer will do. Worst teacher i have had!
She refuses to give A's and will nit pick and change her mind about things in order to keep students from getting A's. She is extremely feminist and if you aren't on the same page with her she will make the class harder for you.
worst teacher i have ever had. she told me that i 'might possibly ever succeed in life.' who says that? our class started with close to 100 people and ended with close to 20. i would never suggest her to anyone.
Worst Teacher Ever! Don't ever take her, EVER! The bigest feminest i have ever met. Will do anything to see you fail her class. The only way to get through her class is to lie through your teeth and to pretend to believe in the crap she believes in. I would never suggest her to anyone.
terrible teacher. needs to make better use of class time. she discusses topics for 20 or 30 minutes at a time that shouldn't take more than 5. she refuses to answer legitimate questions. she tells you to "look it up." last time i checked that what she gets paid to do. argues and puts down students who have ideas and thoughts different from her own
she's horrible. i never said anything in class because i was afraid she'd just shoot me down. anyone else who volunteered they were either right away wrong or she treated them like they were stupid for asking the question or making a comment. avoid having her.
I had difficulty studying for her exams, because the questions were vague, confusing, and not necessarily the most important facts.
I had heard alot of bad things about her. The class was very interesting and enjoyed our lectures. Her emas were hard but if you do the study guide and read and ask her questions she will pretty much tell you whats on the exam. I went in for help and she was extremly helpfull. Not a blow off class!!
She is a good teacher who really does care about how her students are doing... She changed her quizes for our class because we weren't doing good on them...as long as you read the chapters before the test and show up for quiz's youl do fine.. this coming from a C to B student...
I also heard terrible things, but was surprised at how much she helped when I asked. Have to study for exams and quizzes.
NOT a good instructor. Very rude and condescending.
If you want an instructor who is rude, demeaning, and impossible to please I would refer you to Dr. Cordell Brunton. Prepare to work harder than you ever have for an average grade.
She is a radical feminist that does not put up with much if any opposition to her points of view. Her ideas are crazy just as many of the book's ideas are crazy, illogical, and just plain stupid.
This instructor does not give much time at all for quizes or exams. You get 5 minutes to answer 8-10 fill in the blank questions. All I can tell you is be prepared.
Her teaching style is just dull. It was boring to sit and listen to her go on and on and on instead of actually teaching us something. She only gave 5 min for a quiz which was ridiculous. Her quizzes and test were pretty straight from the book, notes and study guide though.
This instructor is not helpful at all.
I took her online class, and somehow, though I never met her, still hated her self-righteous ass.
the only reason this professors has bad reviews is b/c the students didn't want to do the work. You have to put time into the grade you earn. professor is willing to spend extra time with students if need be. study guide is a little hard to follow. but over all do the work and you'll get the grade
This woman beats you down any chance she gets when you answer a question in class. She also lectures primarily on gender roles which is only one aspect of sociology. Completely arrogant.
Show up to class, take good notes, Easy B.. I cant imagine failing this class I havent opened my book once and I am sailing with a solid B.. Lecture is usually interesting.. She does tend to be a little feminist, but eh... who can blame her :) Seriously though, she was very fair to the 2 men in my class this semester
She thinks she is the best person that has ever walked the earth, and all she does is brag about herself. The class itself, isnt that hard, just annoying. If you put the TIME into it, u can get an OK grade. If u want an easy A, she is not the teacher to have! Oh and her lectures are pointless, and she makes u feel real stupid when asking questions!
I took this class and i thought it was very easy. The only thing that I didn't like about the class is the 30-40 year old idiots that came back to get an education and still don't know what they are talking about. over all good class
AWFUL-avoid
Do not sit in the front row because she spits and she always has white spit in the corners of her mouth! I can't even look at her! She thinks she is on a much higher level than her students and seems like she is "out to get them!" Lectures are pointless, I just spend the whole period filling out my study guide because she just blabs on and on!
I have nothing nice to say about this "teacher" Shes completely full of herself. Doesnt give a crap about students...thinks shes hot****...dont waste your time in her class. Shes on a power trip....BIG TIME. DONT take her class! Seriously! awful! shes rude condascending and the most self-righteous person i've ever dealt with. terrible teacher
I didn't think she was THAT bad.. she was actually pretty nice. If you just listen to her lectures and fill out the study guide then you should be set. I would rec. sitting in the back though too. Plus side is that she does offer EC with each exam.
offers plenty of extra credit with each exam.. if you go over the study guide the night before you should get an A.. the online quizes can be taken multiple times as well
It's ok to teach the history of feminism, just call the class "History of Feminism," if that is all you are going to teach. It's ok to have radical beliefs and to voice them, but not to a captive audience who NEEDS the class and has no choice. If you can avoid her, do it. If you can't then just do the study guides and your grade will be fine.
My best friend and I are taking this class right now and we both agreed that we like the class and the teacher- she's hilarious, her lectures are interesting, and the tests are easy because she tells you what to study. I don't know why the ratings are so bad!
I love this class! She is helpful, funny, and encourages discussion. Tests are all multiple choice, and easy as long as you have been to class and skimmed the chapters. Overall interesting and entertaining.
The class is "ok" of you only want a liberal feminist point of view and not any real depth. The author of the book and teacher are so hung up on feminism that it interferes with any real leaning of the subject.
This teacher is a one of the most difficult teachers i've had at ICC so far. Her lectures are never clear and she goes off topic ALOT. She has a very liberal opinion and uses bad analogies quite often. I learn nothing from the lectures. I often find myself wondering why I even bother showing up to class. She never takes attendance! Never again...
I went to meet her before enrolling in her class. I needed to be in one of her classes that was already full. She was very rude to me. She judged my intelligence before I even spoke to her. She told me that she felt if she enrolled me in her online course that I would fail. I passed her class with flying colors. I was very insulted!
This teacher changes her grading system depending upon whether or not she likes you. I am a girl, and my grages were figured differently than my male friend in the class. He got a lower grade than I did, but he did better on all the tests and quizzes by a large margin. The tests are expectedly hard given the fluff material masking as scientific.
I believe that her way of presenting information is ridiculous and very confusing. I found the class lectures to be irrelevant. She does provide you with study questions, but at times, I thought the wording of the questions were off the wall and uncomprehensible.
Refuses to give you your allowed tech prob retest and calls it a redo. Exams suck! There are too many questions to finish (40) within the limit (25 min). The quizzes do not cover same info as Exams & wording of the questions are a BIG problem. You can't read the entire intricate question & answers & place ur answer on all of them in enough time!
Im taking her online class and she's very rude! She doesn't check her email enough and never gets back to you in time. Her exams are ridiculous and doesn't even cover what is in the chapter. If you ask her any question she only responds "look in the syllabus". One of the worst classes ever! Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS TEACHER TO ANYONE!! DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!! SHE IS VERY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. SHE SAYS EVERYTHING ON THE TESTS ARE IN THE BOOK OR STUDY GUIDE..WRONG! VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND MATERIAL AND SHE DOESN'T STAY IN CONTACT WITH STUDENTS. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!
DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER AND IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE DO NOT TAKE HER ONLINE! She is both rude and not helpful and her tests are ridiculously impossible to do.
As a GUY going into a marriage and family class, I expected some flack from the ladies, and to feel a little outcasted. What I didnt expect was to be offended. She talks for an hour twice a week about how bad men are, and how women have been SOO oppressed by men, and how great and liberated women should be. Bitter and RUDE! Teach womens lib!
I really wish I would have found this website before I signed up for her class. She is rude, her rules for her quizzes that you get 4.5 minutes to fill out is ridiculous. DO NOT take her!
Cordell-Brunton does not do any "teaching" at all. She assigns 4/5 chapters, gives you study questions (which aren't reviewed, so you could be studying wrong answers) then you get an online exam (graded by computer, not her). The study questions tend to be all over the place so you will tear your book up flipping back & forth through the chapters.
DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS OFFERED BY THIS TEACHER.
Great Teacher! At first she seems a little all over the place, but once you get into the course you'll understand her method. She expects you to read the assigned chapter and there are quizzes over each chapter, but there is NO HOMEWORK. You're assigned to papers the whole semester. The rest of the class is "discussion"/lecture.
Make sure you fill out the studyguide question she gives you because that is exactly whats on quiz and tests. She can be a lil dull in class but overall very easy. Some of her test question you need to make sure you can apply it to scenarios. Overall she can be a great professor just listen and apply and you should be fine.
Don't recommend this class at all. Took it online and felt like I was never prepared for tests using her study guides. Not near enough time is given for exams either, and questions are very hard. The purpose of taking it online is defeated by not having enough time to check your answers or be sure of anything. Does give extra credit though.
Don't take an online class from her! Her exams and quizzes are designed to make you fail. The time limits are ridiculously short and she pulls questions that are not from any source you will have read. Also you are never allowed to see what questions you got wrong or what the answers are.
Her class lectures were easy to follow and interesting. She always gave the opportunity for discussion/extra credit. Yeah, maybe the time limit for her online quizzes were a little short but she just wants people to earn their grade. I don't know why her rating is so low, she's pleasant and helpful. Anyone complaining about her is lazy.
I don't understand all the complaints about her. She gives you both quiz and exam questions to study. I found every question easily in the book. Just follow the syllubus and it's a breeze!
Horrible teacher. I stopped going to the class because she gets on women's power rant for the length of class and never stops to explain the material. Then she will pick up the next chapter the following class period. Her online study guides are sufficient, and the quizzes are easy. I was .03 points from an A and she refused to budge.
Gives very little time for quiz's and exams. Her online course is very hard to follow. I had to read to syllabus several times to figure out how to complete an assignment. I would not recommend her.
I am not sure why everyone gives her such a bad rating. I think she is a pretty good teacher except for the ridiculous time limits she has for her tests and quizzes. I had a test with 55 multiple choice questions on it and only 25 minutes to do it. That's pretty impossible. But besides that, I think she is a good teacher!
Horrible online course. tests designed to confuse you so you fail. only c i've ever gotten.
Online class is pretty easy. She gives you questions to answer and those questions are exactly what are on the quiz's and exam's. As long as you do those I don't see how you could possibly fail. I have over a 100% in the class because she also offers extra credit. Highly recommend if you aren't a lazy student.
When you have a Radical Feminist as a Sociology teacher, all sorts of things are possible. Come to class, do her study questions for each chapter, and this class is breeze. Her tests are all application based questions and on the review day for the exam she basically answers all of the study questions IF you ask. Show no fear, and your golden
She overall was not a bad teacher. She may not have been the most engaging teacher in class but she told you everything you needed to know. If you showed up and payed attention in class her tests were easy and so was the class. Honestly I would take another one of her classes.
I don't really know why her ratings are so poor. I thought the class wasn't hard at all as long as you showed up for class and paid attention. I actually enjoyed the class and the teacher and would take it again. Even though she did not make attendance mandatory it is definitely a must if you want to pass the class.
awful.... so rude to students. lots of studying if you want to pass
She belittled students if called on and they gave an incorrect answer. Then she would complain that no one ever participated in lecture. I was afraid to participate for fear that she would make me feel stupid in front of classmates like she did to others. But as long as you read the book you can get A's on her tests.
if you want a class that is all about feminism and how women are oppressed in society than this class is for you. no need to show up you have four section quizzes that you just need to read the book for and four tests along with an optional comprehensive final that again, just read the book. this class was terrible.
I've taken two online classes with her, easiest classes I've ever had. All the answers to her exams you can find online. Reading is important for understanding material and discussion posts otherwise she is pretty easy going and gives you answers to quizzes and exams with her study guides.
I expected to hate this class, but ended up really enjoying it. She is easy to understand and gives interesting lectures. If you do your work and thoroughly complete your study guides, there really is no excuse for not getting a decent grade.
Four quizzes (1 being extra credit and 2 tries per quiz), a test for each four chapters and one discussion board question. You have 4-5 weeks to complete before the next section is due. Clear expectations and if you read the chapter and take the quiz you will do fine. I am currently taking another class of hers and it is set up the same.
Maxine is by far one of the best teachers at ICC. She is very fun and energetic and makes class interesting. She gives you loads of extra credit, attendance isn't mandatory till the very end of the semester, all quizzes are online, she gives you everything you need to get an A. She also let us look over the exams the day before the were given.
*4 quizzes ( 2 tries per quiz), *1 exam for each section(only one try) *one discussion board ? with responses to at least 2 classmates for each section * there is always one extra credit chapter for each exam and it gets added to your final exam grade you you can easily bump yourself up a letter grade. Short timed exams 50 ?'s in 35 mins. READ!!!!
Gives timed quizzes and tests. Almost every answer is on a Quizlet. Discussion Board participation required. Is very accessible through email. If you participate, she will round up your grade. Optional final if you have less than 90%. She drops the lowest test grade. Extra credit is offered.
Gives timed quizzes and tests. Two chances per quiz. Almost every answer is on a Quizlet. Discussion Board participation required. Is very accessible through email. If you participate, she will round up your grade. Optional final if you have less than 90%. She drops the lowest test grade. Extra credit is offered.
Have had Maxine for Soc110 in person, and Soc114 and Soc120 online. She has the same set up for all of these classes: 3 chap quizzes online (+DB post for online courses), test the following week. 4 sections, 3 chapters each. If you READ and do study guides, you'll be golden. Wonderful and clear online set up. Honestly suggest taking these online.
She was a super nice person you can tell is passionate about how she teaches. The class is easy to pass as long as you do what she asks of you, and she offers extra credit! Final is not mandatory, and she gives study guides for all the tests, then let's you go over the study guide the class period before the test if you can't find an answer.
This class was okay. I did not have very much interaction with the professor. The class was not too difficult. if you do the exam questions you should do well on the tests. the tests were timed: 50 Qs in 35 minutes. The quizzes were 10 Qs in 10 mins. each section had an EC quiz which goes onto the section exam.
very rude when asked for extension. doesnt engage much with students.
Not so sure why her ratings are so poor... super easy class if you just use the study guides she gives you for every quiz and exam.
There's extra credit for every exam, and the discussion boards every unit. If you do all the extra credit, and the final, and you're still just a fraction of a percent away, she will round it up. You do not need to worry about your grade in this course. She wants you to succeed. She lets you know what's on every test and announces deadlines.
If you are looking for a class only graded on tests and quizzes, then you are looking for the perfect class! But, if you are a bad test taker I highly recommend you take this class with a different teacher. She makes these little 3-5 minute videos as lecture videos with little to no explanations on some*of the topics covered in the chapters.
I took her SOC 114 online anytime class and loved it. I was scared when reading the reviews but came to love the class. There's 4 units and each unit has 3 10 question quizzes, not proctored, 1 10 question extra credit quiz, proctored, 1 discussion board, and 1 exam, proctored. She also gives study guides for every quiz and exam. Light workload.
She is a rude professor nor is she helpful. Not many context in this course. She grades on proctored exams and non proctored quizzes. Make sure you do the discussion boards exactly to her standard or she will just give you a 0. Highly recommend taking it with somebody else. see
I am a 4.0 student, but this class isn't even possible to get an A in, so it was the best decision of my life to drop it. But, if you love classes that depend on 4 tests for your whole grade, this class is for you. Her email replies are always rude and her study questions have nothing to do with the tests. A total waste of money!
Easy class, quizzes are online and occasional homework assignments. Exams are online too, but you are recorded. Decent professor, but was kind of rude at times. Overall, I got an A so I'm not going to complain a whole lot, just that she sometimes has an attitude.
My power went out in the middle of taking an exam and she refused to let me retake it and sent back a blunt email with no empathy for my situation. I am a working mom that sacrificed time with my family to study for this exam and now I am failing this class because she wouldn't let me retake it. If you can choose any other professor, I would.
I spent hours on end studying and reading assignments for it all to not reciprocate my grades.
I am a 4.0 student and her class was the hardest course I have ever had. She shows no empathy for you, no matter the situation you are in. I wrote her a few emails and in a majority of them she blamed me for everything and was no help. If you are in her class, I would change professors immediately. Never waste your money on a class with her!
I was surprised to see so many negative reviews of Prof. Maxine, I loved her as a professor! She was an easy grader and there's a very light work load. All assignments are online, only the exams are proctored. If you just read the text book and take good notes this class is very easy. I'm a social work major and didn't have to put much effort in.
Took this class for credit, expected not to have much issues but she can be incredibly rude. Like others said, she shows no empathy for you if you're stuck on something.
This class has a steep learning curve, but using study tools like Unstuckstudy alongside the textbook can make a big difference. The professor has a strict policy, so be sure to stay on top of assignments and tests. Overall, it's a challenging but manageable course.
I enrolled in this originally as a transfer credit for my degree. I stayed a total of one day. After reading the syllabus, I dropped the class immediately because it was apparent that the professor did not want her students to succeed in her class. The class was overly authoritarian and gave deductions for no reason whatsoever.
I was originally excited to take this class. I was enrolled in this class and dropped it. VERY self-Important. Proctors everything even the syllabus quiz. NO THANKS. RUNNNN from this one guys.
The entire class was just reading the textbook and then taking a test. Genuinely the worst class I've ever taken. My first and last online dual credit.
This course was all reading out of the textbook, and then taking exams. If you have a problem, and try to reach out to the professor though, she is very rude and will not help. I would never take this course again for that reason.
100% the worse professor I've ever had. She doesn't have any sympathy for her students. doesn't provide any type of helpful materials or lectures and expects her students to read many chapters for the exams. She literally states in her syllabus that she can fail you if she simply suspects you are cheating. Horrible experience.
worse professors I've ever had. So much reading and all your grade depends on tests and quizzes, (they're not even open book). tough grader on the few discussion boards she provides and may fail you if you violate any of her video testing system. Doesn't care what her students are going through and thinks her class is more important than anything.
This class was a pre-requisite for my program, I dropped this class after the syllabus quiz. I had to install a program on my chrome for EXTREAMLY STRICK on quizzes. To the point that I couldn't have my noise canceling headphones on, a hat, etc. It amplified my anxiety not because possibility of cheating but because I couldn't even shift my body.
literally worse professor. fourth day and i dropped she was no help, gave no feedback, expected me to download chrome and app just for her class, just all together not someone i would recommend.
one of the hardest teachers I have ever had in my life. Honestly a terrible start for any college freshman or high school dual enrolment students. didn't provide any resources except reading and some questions to practice before the exams.
This course was honestly all reading and exams. should have probably dropped the class from the minute I read the syllabus. The professor is very rude and doesn't care about her students. She also does no work throughout the course except grading some discussion boards.
This professor made this class entirely too hard. My GPA was a 3.8, but I had to withdraw her glass. It is alot of reading, nothing you read is even on the quizzes or exams. She uses honor-lock, it was just an overall terrible experience and I do not recommend to take her class.
For an introduction class it was a heavy class it obviously went fast paced for a summer class but even so it still felt heavy and she was very passive agressive when it came to emailing her. Don't take her, look for different professors. She used honorlock and it made me more nervous when taking tests
Your grade in this class consists of quizzes for every chapter and 4 unit tests. There are optional quizzes/finals to try to improve your grade. All of the tests/quizzes require the use of Honorlock. As long as you read the chapter and answer the test prep questions, you will do fine, but this can take hours. She can came off as rude and uppity.
This online class was definitely an experience. I was on my own for everything, as the class consisted of reading the online textbook, quizzes, exams, & a few discussion boards. She was nice through emails to me, but she uses Honorlock & is extremely strict (don't breathe too loudly or cough kind of strict). The syllabus was 30 pages, w/ a quiz.
30 page syllabus and an honor lock quiz. I was going to try to stick it out but for this basically being an extra class to be at the credit requirements it wasn't worth the stress. Seemed passive aggressive too.
Worst class I have ever taken. She had no sympathy for any of her students. I learned absolutely nothing in this course. The only assignments were quizzes and exams.
Professor Cordell-Brunton is a tough grader and responded to my emails rudely. Quizzes and tests are proctored, and she deducts lots of points off of quizzes and exams if there is any background noise. Would not recommend taking sociology with Professor Cordell-Brunton.
