It truly escapes me how a class as important as biology 181 (sets the foundation) is taught in 4 weeks! I have to admit, Dr. Imad is a good professor: she is very knowledgeable and she cares about her students a lot. She is not easy! Though her lectures are not boring, she tries very hard to cover all the material which ends up being too much.

Great professor! I took the class during the summer and the infomation was very condensed and quick paced. Dr. Imad did well trying to get through the required information while making sure students understood. Labs were not very useful but that is Pima's requirements. If you participate in class and try you'll do well.

Toughest class Ive had in school. Materials are tough and Mays is challenging. She prepares us though and is always accessible. Go to her review sessions and do the study guides. There are no surprises on the exam because she covered everything.

Dr. Imad has great communication and interaction with the class. If you take the 8 week course, be prepared for the work load that comes with it. The labs in this course are a fun way of learning about chapters. She offers lots of extra credit so DO NOT pass this up! It will help if you don't do well with tests.

This class is crazy difficult. It combiness 201/202 and diseases. Professor Imad is great. This is my second class with her. She goes above and beyond for her students to succeed. My only issue with her is how accommodating she is in entertaining those who constantly whined about the difficulty of the course and wanted easy grades. She is great.

Dr. Imad is a great teacher. The material is very conceptual so be prepared to think! She is responsive to emails and holds consistent office hours. She gives regular quizzes which help you study the material throughout the semester. Homework is time consuming but completely relevant to the topic. It was great to help study.

Mays is an amazing teacher and an amazing person. She truly cares and goes above and beyond for her students, dedicating her own time to help out. There is a lot of writing in this class, but it really does help you process and understand the material better. The way she teaches the class makes the material much more intuitive than memorization.

She really explains things in a matter that I can understand. She describes herself as "non a natural" learning, which is something I admire. Take this class! you will learn so much!
