Mrs. Chami is an excellent professor. She provides a solid foundation of the material coveredI. Very effective in her teaching style. She encourages the students to ask questions in an area of difficulty and will clearly answer with elaborate explanation. Did I mention how sweet she is and drop dead gorgeous.

At first I was skeptical because she was the intern instructor. Boy was I wrong, she is very intelligent and knowledgable and will give many analogies and examples for clarification. She's very charming and kind too!!!

Prof. Chami is very kind. She will go above and beyond to help you perform better in class. Her teaching style is organized and on point. What she covers is what will be on the test. No surprises! She cares deeply about students. Take her, you will love her class.

She cared so much about students, she has a passion for teaching and is incredibly kindhearted. Her lectures are interesting and never dull. She uses many entertaining videos (such as the big bang theory) to explain concepts. this is my second time taking the class and I learned so much more during this semester than I did last.

She is a good teacher. If you actually show up for class and listen to her lectures, you will be fine. Do not come and horse play, you will not pass.

She is really good, if she doesn't know the answer to something she will look for it! Good teacher her lectures are good all the information is there you just have to listen! Easy class ! She's one of the best teachers I have ever had. She made the class fun, enjoyable, and a great learning experiences. She obviously knows what she's talking about. Her class does require some studying and a lot of participation. Other than being an amazing teacher, she is also a very understanding and inspirational person. I highly recommend her.

Read the syllabus folks, read the requirements and you will perform well in her class. she is the reason I fell in love with psychology. very intelligent and knowledgeable of the material. Her class is student-centered, very interesting and fun to be in her class. she is very kind and delightful all around.

Extremely easy class and interesting lectures. BUT will call you out if you do not participate and if you do participate but do NOT give the correct answer, she will speak to you in a condescending manner. This actually makes me want to participate less. Does not have a lot of patience for long conversations/stories either.

I am not sure if this is appropriate, but she is a sweetheart. Really caring and helpful. She allows notes to be used during her exams and only 1 assignment. Participation is very important , her class is more discussion driven then lecture driven. she uses PPT but will engage students in discussions and group activities. Participation is REQUIRED.

Dr. chami is an absolute delight. She wants you to pass her class, she goes out of her way to offer bonus points which really boosts your overall average. There is a free book, you can use a cheat sheet during exams. Discussions are crucial in her class. Over all great personality, beautiful inside and out.

Professor Chami is by far the best I've had. Her lectures were very fun and interesting. Make sure you read over the material before class, she is very big on participation! The reviews help A LOT for the exams, as long as you study you will make an A. She also gives extra points. Easy A for this class.

Professor Chami is a great teacher. She's very optimistic, she cares about her students, and her lectures were not only interesting, but fun as well. I'm not psych. major, but she still made the subject interesting to me. She gives Powerpoint lectures, and the tests basically come straight from them. Take the class, you won't regret it.

She was hands down my favorite teacher I'm a nursing major so psychology is a requirement. Her lectures were very interesting and participation is a must in her class. Show up do your quizzes and work and you should be fine.

I enjoyed and got a lot of this class, lectures are clear, concise and interactive. I loved listening to her stories, which really intrigued me and boosted my interest during her lectures. She offered many bonus points and always went out of her way to give an extra push to those who showed a genuine interest in learning.

Wow! Trust me, you need to take her course! Ive honestly never been a good student, but Im actually excited to go to class now. Of course youll have to study and actually do the work, but she WILL do her best to make sure you understand the info. The rest is up to you. I wish more were like her. Very approachable and active In the classroom.

Prof. Chami made psychology really fun and interesting for me. My friends who took psychology in high school made it seem like an hard subject to dread, but she changed all that. She drops your lowest test grade, which really helps. She also makes her slides available and the test are similar to the tests.

Prof Maya is the best! It's obvious that she cares about you passing the class. Her lectures are fun and engaging. She ALWAYS gives chances for extra credit. PARTICIPATION IS IMPORTANT!! Sometimes it's hard to understand her b/c she speaks fast and has a slight, (very slight), accent, but if you ask her to clarify, she is more than happy to do so.

One of my earliest class but always looked forward to it because of her. Her lectures are amazing, you grasp the concept really well and she allows you to interact and participate with others. I learned so much from her! She also gave out extra credit often and really cares about you as a student. Just loved her as a professor and as a person.

If I could be granted one wish, it would be for her to either teach all of my classes (shes an embodiment of knowledge) or marry me. Shes an incredible individual and cares about students a lot. If you want to LEARN then take her class, well either way take her class.

She's the best professor I've had at HCC. Classes were a bit hard to follow since she finished portions quickly, but you'll do fine if you study each day. I would also recommend reading the textbook and taking notes during lectures

Lectures are fun and you must participate. Shes also very helpful and cares about the student outside of class, however she is too sensitive... You can literally sit with your hands under your chin and she thinks you arent enjoying the class and she gets into a whole breakdown... However quizzes and exams are all online, easy A.

8wk online class. Prof. Chami is very well organized and gives you extra credit which I find very generous of her since most teachers don't give you any. She will give you videos and PowerPoints to study before tests and quizzes but you will also need to read the textbook. It helped me understand the material better. Drops lowest quiz and test :)

Great class, professor claritys what you need to do. Everything is multiple choice, just make flash cards and read form study groups youll be fine.

Prof. Chamis class was chill. She drops the lowest test and lowest two quizzes. If you just read the textbook and powerpoints, youll get an easy A. She gives lots of extra credit. Intimidating with how she wants you to email her but only bc she wants you to read the syllabus first.

this online class was really easy. 4 exams and a final (can find answers on Quizlet), a couple of discussions, activity quizzes, and a few extra credit assignments. highly recommend its an easy A.

Took this professor for PSYC 2301 and 2314. She gives us a lot of extra credit. However for PSYC 2314 two weeks before semester ended she had decided to make the final with a lockdown browser and camera. They were a total of five exams for both classes and a couple of quizzes. There was also writing assignments too. She grades you on grammar.

Professor Chami is great! Her class consists of 5 modules. Each module has PowerPoints, 2-3 quizzes which all are for 10 questions/10 points, and a test. She doesnt have live meetings, so it was more of a teach yourself. I didnt like that, but her class is straightforward. Just read the book, email her, and youll be fine.

Prof. Mayya is awesome. Constantly replied to emails and was flexible with due dates. Offered extra credit assignments. The canvas course was very organized, I was able to study independently because of the Canvas structure. There aren't many assignments either. She's really kind and I highly recommend taking her class if you want an easy A.

Class was well organized and well paced. I took the 16 week option, but there is a lot of reading. Professor also decided someone was cheating towards the end of the semester and began using lockdown browser. Not fair to the whole class, but it is what it is. The textbook was very helpful. Wish she wouldve been more accessible. Great prof.

I took her human development course, it was organized and straightforward! Human development was an interesting course which enlightened me on so much I did not know. She also constantly replied to emails and was gracious with due dates. It's not an easy course but you will learn a lot for sure in such an engaging and intriguing way.

Easy A, drops lowest exam grade and is laid back about about due dates. Professor was always responsive.

Professor Chami was great throughout the course he provided us with all the tools we needed to pass the class and still gave us extra credit in case we needed it. He also provided us with 3 day grace period every time we had an assignment. Would definitely take him again.

Professor is very nice and responsive to emails. The reading is very heavy and the exams ask for the MOST minuscule details instead of making sure you grasped the whole concept. I averaged high Bs on my exams and got an A in the class. Would take with this professor again, but maybe the PSYC dpt needs to update the textbook to match the exams.

I love how organized the course was. Only two easy useful assignments, which made the workload manageable. I genuinely learned a lot about myself and found psychology fascinating. The instructor is very kind and approachable, always responding to emails promptly and offering a grace period for late submissions. She taught us exceptionally well
