She was awesome and pretty much if you come to class pay attention and listen to what she says you got an A. Very fun class too.

Callan was a very interesting professor. I absolutely loved the course; she was enthusiastic about teaching it- though she was hilarious because she had no use for people who asked stupid questions, or others that generally wasted her time. She reminded me of a much more intelligent Phoebe Boofay. She was certainly a very orignial professor! 10!

Nice teacher. Realizes what a lot of students are in there for, Gen Ed requirement and nobody really cares. i attended all class periods and kind of didnt care about the class, then kicked it in gear and got a B. Just make sure you talk a little bit and you'll be fine and glad you took her.

Meaghan is one of the best teachers that I have ever had. Fall of 2009 will be my 3rd semester taking one of her classes. She is really on top of her subject & will spend any amount of time going over what was covered in class. een a softy & a hardass. If you show up everyday on time & participate, you will succeed in her class. She is a little unorganized but she will make up for it. If she taught more than just Art history, I would defiantly take all of her classes :)

Honestly, this class should've been an online class. I don't think she took attendance and I never really cared. I got a A without trying. She's pretty cool, but I hated going to class. Remember your online homework every week and you will do great!

She made the class interesting with her hilarious sense of humor. She has this IDGAF attitude towards everything. The class itself is also very interesting & I did not expect that. She never took attendance I don't think however she keeps mental note & reminds you from time to time. Fun class & good teacher!

This proffesor is the by far one of the best JJC has to offer. She really wants her students to understand why they are wrong and urgest strongly for her students to critical think. She has a great sense of humor and knows what she is talking about. She uses online tests which are easy if you read the chapter. Her class is not a blow off class.

I took her for an online course. She is very straight forward, the calendar tells you exactly what is due and when. You definately need the book for the quizes.

This was a very easy class to take online. She responded to any questions or concerns very quickly. You don't have to buy the recommended books, just the text book. The tests and quizzes are very easy and there is no extra work. It's simply test, quizses and DBs.

Fantastic teacher. I took art 115 online and can't say enough good things about it. The professor was helpful and responded quickly if you had any questions. This was a very easy going class to take and she grades the quality of the discussion boards over word count. As long as you actually try in the class you will do well

This class was really easy once you got the hang of it. She used the textbook word for word on the tests. Honestly I never read the chapter just skimmed and pretty much aced all the tests. Totally recommend her she was really great.

Meaghan is awesome, this was a really easy class, u do take online test every week but its open book n notes, its word for word out of the book. the exams are the chapter tests that u take online. she is very sarcastic, if u show her respect she will give it right back. dont be afraid to ask for help if u need it, she will do what she can to help.

She is by far my favorite teacher at JJC. She is hilarious and keeps it real. There is a lot of great and honest discussion in the classroom. If you're looking to just get the credit do it online, most of the actual work will be online anyways.

Great personality and super funny. She makes the class very entertaining and enjoyable. Quizzes are online and super easy as long as you skim the chapter. Class got off topic a lot but like I said, skim the chapter and you'll be fine. Tests are very easy and she always adds extra credit questions.

Not a terrible professor... not my favorite though. Class is generally easy, assignments due weekly along with chapter tests (open book). However, I found many answers in the book to questions on the tests that were "incorrect" supposedly incorrect. Very slow grader, but overall, easy A.

I took this class online in the summer and it was super easy. All the answers for the test and quizzes are in the book almost word for word. Its an easy A. All you have to do is complete the discussion boards and quizzes each week. Not hard work at all. You just have to keep up with it.

Took this Prof. before and thought the grading was slow, however, she did keep up this time. Overall, this class is definitely an easy A. Do what is asked, which is minimal, and you'll be golden. I only disliked that responses in discussions had to be 150 words for each of 3 responses. Tended to repeat topics and answers but it wasn't too difficult

Wasn't a fan of the class. Then again, neither was Meaghan. Don't forget to do the online tests once a week. You don't need the book, but it's good to have during lectures. I'd recommend don't buy it.

She is the bomb! Just answer discussion questions & do the quizzes online which you can use your book! Except the exams are based of the quizzes so just go over the book, she's really cool somewhat smart one but its hilarious!

Wonderful teacher. I read the book cover to cover. When taking the "chapter test" I used the book as well as the internet. I recommend the book. Shes very funny and understands we have lives too. Assignments were easy, just write your opinion and talk to your classmates. Also gives extra credit. I would highly recommend her! Would take again.

Meaghan is awesome! She is very understanding that students are pressed for time and does not assign a multitude of homework. A discussion board and quiz weekly, as well as an exam every few chapters. Exam questions come directly from the quizzes. Textbook is necessary. Grades quickly and easily.

Incredibly easy class. I did not have much interaction with her because her assignments are self explanatory. Her course consisted of discussion boards with no minimum requirements and short quizzes every week. There were three major exams during the semester. All quizzes and exams were untimed. Always left nice comments weekly for quality work.

She makes it clear what she expects, all quizzes online and discussion boards every week. Show up, and take notes and youll get an A no problem! She takes her exam questions directly off notes.

Loved this class - deadlines and expectations were made clear from day 1. Meaghan replied quickly to emails. I liked that I was able to work ahead, tests are from power points, but you still have to work for your grade.

Overall, I really like this professor. One thing I didn't like about her class was sometimes she marked right answers wrong on a quiz and I emailed her a few times regarding that issue. So, look at the ones you got wrong and make sure they're actually wrong. Not because Quizlet said it was right, confirm it in the book. Overall Quizlet is 97% right

I love Professor Callan! She has a clear grading criteria and explains it the first day of class. There is a lot of discussions boards but its easy 20 points. The online quizzes are easy too. Her lectures usually fall short so you get to leave early and she makes it fun and not a dread to come to everyday.

I had her in the spring and I enjoyed her lectures. Everything was easy to follow and the homework was discussions and quizzes online every week. The professor always reminded the class about when homework was due and about the upcoming tests. Was also easy to reach outside of class if we had questions.

Great teacher! She is always making the class laugh. Just do the work and you wont have any problems. Its not even a lot of work either.

I've had her for several classes and is one of my favorite teachers so far at JJC. It is a lecture heavy class, but meaghan adds humor to keep your attention. She expects you to fully understand what she is teaching so tests aren't a walk in the park if you didn't study. Classes are laid back and fun though!

I took this course because I needed one more art class and wanted something easy. This was by far the easiest class I have taken but you will need a textbook in order to do discussions and the exams. Online was nice for open book when taking the exams and she gives great feedback! Would take her again!

I had a different professed the beginning of the semester, we had to switch professors during this whole pandemic. She was so great during the transition and checked in on all the students to make sure we all understood the assignments. She had an extra credit opportunity and always replied to emails and questions.

She is an amazing professor that really cares about her students. She will help you as long as you reach out to her. Her tests are pretty easy and she gives you enough time for them. Her discussion boards are also pretty simple. All the answers are in the textbook so make sure you read it.

this class is one of the most easiest elective classes you will ever take. there were few homework assignments which were 3 min videos every week that took 5 min to complete which was very easy. there were tests every week which were short and the answers were clearly in the textbook (and easily found on quizlet :)). teacher is very helpful

Professor Callan was super nice! There is one discussion board per week, plus one quiz and one test per week. There is also an exam every month or so. The work was very easy, and the PowerPoints she uploaded had all of the information I needed. I recommend Professor Callan!

BEST PROF EVER! If any one of her courses has open seats, sign up immediately. If you read the textbook, you will get a good grade as all of the answers to the tests are in the textbook. There is a discussion board for each module and only one paper/project. Reading and participating will earn you an A!

Very good professor. For online, the course is extremely easy. There is 1 discussion, 1 quiz, and 1 test every week, and 3 exams throughout the semester, all the answers come from the textbook so don't skip out on reading. There are a few errors on the tests, but if you email her about the issue she will fix your grade for you.

Prof Callan is pretty easy going. I took art 115 online and it was a breeze. I have to say the material for 115 was really boring though. She basically grades off discussion posts, quizzes, tests, and exams. As long as you follow all of her guidelines you are bound to get an A.

This online class that I took with Ms.Morgan was very easy only if you put in time for the class. The class has discussion boards and multiple choice tests as well as quizzes. The readings are very easy, and if you put in minimal effort then you can pass this class with an A. The teacher is very nice and is always ready to answer.

She is the easiest teacher I have taken by far. You don't have to put much effort in whatsoever and you can pass the class with an A just make sure you submit everything in and you're good to go!

One of my favorite parts about this class were the discussion boards as all of them were interesting and created a space for all of us to think about how art interacts with our world. I have nothing bad to say about Professor Callan as her class was extremely enjoyable and there were tons of opportunities to improve one's grade.

There was a lot of discussion boards but they weren't too hard, it is a 250 word minimum and a 150 word reply. Shes a pretty fair grader and provides feedback, the exams and tests and final wasn't too difficult, Ive had a class from her in person and both in person and online aren't too bad from her. I would take as many courses from her if you can

She is super funny, has a clear schedule for assignments, and goes over ALL of the work assigned. Overall, she has this amazing passion for art history and is a great lecturer because of it. I'd definitely recommend her as a professor!

Easy A is no problem as long as you do the work given. She's really funny and created a great class atmosphere. She graded really easily; it was almost impossible to get a 0. She made the class amazing.

I did this class for a gen-ed, and it was a great class to take. The workload is the same all semester and its very manageable. It does consist of blog posts and quizzes with only a few tests. This was the second class I took of hers and I would do another if I could.

Loves art history, but she is evil.

I took her online summer course that lasted 4 weeks. She gave us a week to finish all the assignments for that designated week. It was alot to be honest, vid quizzes, quizzes, test, chap test, unit test module and discussions. But nothing google search couldn't help do, and common sense. Great teacher and great class.

Take her if you need an art class gen ed. Very clear grading criteria and simple material. Also great at responding to emails if you are stuck. Great professor.

She is really funny and jokes around. There are a few online assignments which are really easy. The only pain are the tests. She gives around 50 slides of artifacts you need to memorize the date, name, what is it made out of and the significance. The tests have around 10 artifacts that you need to identify but she is really generous when grading.
