She is good, she has a lot of extra credit. Keep up on Homework. Her tests are not too hard not too easy. She is a very fair grader, usually her grading benefits the student. Seems to be the best for claculus. Goes kinda fast. She will help students.

At least section a day with spare time to review for the final. Tests are derived from the hwk just a bit more hard, practice with the even numbers from the hwk.

An execellent teacher overall. She knows how to teach a difficult class like calculus. Keep up with the homework and do the extra credit at the end of the class. This will help you with the tests.

Hated Math in the beginning. Taking it scared me. Ms. Lee's lectures were brief and simple, thus, easily understood. Does not deviate from syllabus, lots of work but generous with extra credit. Daily quizzes reinforce daily lectures. Must do your part to succeed. After course, gained confidence in taking higher math classes. Math interests me now.

This teacher is really nice. She gives extra credit and lets you bring a cheat sheet to class. I have had other Math teachers in the past, she is one of the best!!!!

I've always hated math, especially geometry. I expected a C in the class, but it looks like an A now. Ms. Lee teaches straight from the book, but somehow clarifies things at the same. Great teacher, very nice.

Excellent professor. She's one of the most consistent I've had at valley. The syllabus was laid out the first day, and followed exactly throughout the semester. Very approachable and friendly. Only complaint I have is that she doesn't control the class well, and needs to talk louder many times. She doesn't seem to like confrontation. Take her!

Such a great professor, very clear and no surprises, if you need help, she'll definitely help you. Lets you use some notes on the test, wish she wasn't disrespected by the dumb students in the class.

mrs lee is the best math teacher I ever had. She speaks very soft so you would have to sit in the front but overall, she's great. I like her teaching method and mostly that she gives lot of extra credits which helps you alot.

Ms. Lee is one of the best math professors you can get In LAVC. She is teaching this math 240 this summer, but saddly her class is already full. Therefore, I decided to enroll in section 0255, but the class still need ten more students to not be cancelled. For those who need trigonometry, hurry up and enroll as soon as you can.

Very nice teacher! the lectures are so comprehensive and clear.You almost study the subject while she's teaching. she gives lots of extra credit. The test are straight forward. Basically, she gives all the help that you can expect from a teacher! I strongly recommend her!

She is extremely helpful. Can get a little confusing at times but helps you if you don't understand. Speaks a little to soft and sometimes fast but overall a nice teacher. HW consists of EVER OTHER ODD!! How cool is that?

she is a good teacher. she's pretty easy, she gives alot of extra credit, 10 points per test. she doesn't do constructions so that makes this class GREAT for a geometry class. her final was pretty much based only on the previous chapter tests so that was also good.

I took her for math 120 and 240, best teacher at valley. After you move on from 240 good luck finding a good teacher. She gives 10 points of extra credit on each test. She is very helpful, shy, but the sweetest lady ever. I would take her again!!!!!!!

She is a really good teacher. If you are not good at math at all take her she is good just be there all the time due your homework, quizes, and a C averge in the test and you pass the class her grading is pretty fair a C is 65%!! she gives extra credit ten points what else can you ask for.. she does talk very low..but her notes are great.

She is very gentle and kind lady.She speaks a little,but her notes are very concise and go just to the point.You can earn 10 extra points for a quiz every class, so miss any days.Homwork is due in the day of the test. She drops the lowest test score exept final.She gives a preview for each test. I enjoyed an nonstressful atmosphere in her class.

Having this teacher for math was great! She broke down all the steps and the assignments were always clear. It would be a good thing to sit near here, because she does talk sort of softly, and when the class is talkative, you may not be able to hear her.

Once you get past her thick accent(and you will) she is actually a great teacher. She clearly explains how to do the work and will take the time to personally help you if asked. She is a VERY fair grader. Very. Give EC every test. Take her class over any other geometry professor. You have to be a really bad student to not pass her courses.

Mrs. Lee was a helpful teacher. She starts class out by answering any questions you have about the hw (maybe 15 problems per class). Then she explains the lesson. After that she assigns extra credit questions, that's when she helps you 1 on 1 and makes sure you understand. Class ends early/ whenever you finish. She speaks quietly, so sit near her.

Great teacher! Her way of teaching is very easy to understand. Professor Lee explains her lessons straight forward. She gives many examples for each section. Professor Lee also gives you EC your quizzes (which are open book open neighbor) Honestly, I would take her again for all my future math classes! Highly recommend this professor!

She's an extremely great professor! She makes it easier for students to pass her class, not by giving them the grade but by actually teaching and having them work for it. Professor is good. final is worth most of your grade so you have to do very well to get an A. final is accumulative and complicated. homework points help as long as you give it in . extra credit is great but requires you to never skip class. overall 3.5/5

Great Professor. She speaks softly but her overall techniques are great. If you study and show up everyday to class you will do just fine. She is not that difficult and if you have any questions she is always willing to help.

If you take here class seriously, you will pass. She explains everything pretty well, even though she is quiet. Do all her homework and quizzes, it basically free points in here class. She is a very nice professor and you can ask for help when needed. She does reviews after every section, in which each question is similar to the one she wrote.

Professor Lee was awesome. There's a chance for extra credit before every exam, including the final. Aside from that, Professor Lee is very knowledgeable and answers questions very clearly. I won't call it a problem, but sometimes the lectures go a bit quick. It can be tough to keep up if you want to copy everything she has on the baord.

Easy, easy,easy!! Her classes are awesome and easy to understand, study the quizzes and you will ace the tests, preferably sit up front and she talks very low, take notes it makes everything way easier! You have to try to do bad to get anything lower than a B.

Love the way Professor Lee structures her math course. There's always extra credit for those who want it. Attendance is mandatory since there's a quiz after each class session. She does her best to simplify each lesson. Homework counts for points. Lectures can be boring though. Whatever she writes on the board during lecture IS what's on the test.

Duuuuuuuuude, all the math professors at LAVC need to teach and test their students like professor Lee. It's a shame she isn't given higher level math classes to teach cause if she did, I'd definitely take them with her.

One of the best math professors at LAVC! She explains everything clearly and writes down every step. If you don't get something don't be afraid to ask. Quiz at the end of every lecture, but she gives you chances to fix your mistakes AND you can work with others. Review questions are structured the same as tests, and get you 10 pts E.C.

Easy to pass. She gives a lot of chances and always makes sure you get 10/10 on your quizzes. The cons would have to be that she has an accent that can be difficult to understand at times and she also can go through lectures fast but other than that she's a great professor.

She gives quizzes after every lecture that she will grade and give multiple attempts on as long as it's done before the end of class. This is great as the information is still fresh from lecture. All the homework is given in the syllabus and due on test day. She gives extra credit for test study guides which will be given the class before the test.

She's a really sweet professor. This is tough class to understand but she makes it as clear as possible. You don't need a textbook but it's really helpful. Homework is optional but thats what the exams are based on.

Professor Lee was an AMAZING geometry professor! She is such a sweet woman, and will give quizzes at the end of each lecture which are worth 10pts and lets you correct them if there are any mistakes to give you a chance to get 10/10. She also gives a review day before exams which are worth 10pts added to your exam! LOVE HER!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I took this class over a year ago and it made me feel very confident with math and I owe this to Professor Lee. She is very attentive and caring and gives good feedback. Very nice person and I wish the college could give her a chance on teaching math 259 and above, because she would be an amazing choice!

If you are afraid of Math take her class you will not regret. She explains very accurately, and detailed. If you study test review problems and do homework you will succeed.

She was an amazing professor! I wish she did calc 2. I took this class online and attendance was not mandatory but its definitely necessary. There were 4 tests and the final. Your lowest test grade gets dropped. all homework assignments were due the day of the test. The work is done on Cengage and you can request extension with points deducted.
