One of the Greatest Proffs at Kwantlen by far! If you know the basics then you will do really well in this course.. a GPA booster! Meena is VERY clear and extremely helpful..feel free to interrupt if you dont understand something. If youve never used a computer in your life, you would think you can program one by the end of this!

I have only had her a short time now, but I enjoy her classes. She moves a bit fast, but will come and help you if you need it. She cares a lot about her work. I definitely recommend her. She is kinda sexy too.

Talks very fast and crams a lot into each class, hard to understand, and not good at explaining questions when asked. I asked her to dumb it down for me a little and use example numbers to explain a formula, and she just couldn't do it.....Very hard class if you freeze up on tests... course marks layout 2 mid terms 20% each final 50% quizes 10%.

Best Teacher ever for Business Statistics ACCT1230. Just go through the slides and do 3-4 problems, you would rock.. Like 1-2 hrs study after class at home is enough to get B+,A-,A or A+. Moreover , she gives you the practice problems for mid term to socre good. Most of the problems in mid term tests are pretty same to the practice problems.

Overall pretty easy, this is a basic course. Don't bother reading her course outline, they're NOT true lol. Assignment dates are all wrong (due earlier), and she doesn't take late assignments like she said she does.

Good instructor. Very helpful. Assignments are from what she covers in class from the textbook. Exams are similar to assignments. I Would take her class next time!

Very good teacher always willing to help you when your stuck on problems. Takes her job seriously and explains all her expectations for assignments, tests and projects. Other than going a little fast she was a great teacher. I went into this class straight from CBSY 1105 and still got a good mark! Shes an awesome teacher.

Fantastic! I'm fairly proficient in computer use and programming, so this class was an easy A to begin with. I am terrible with accents so can't understand her english accent all that well but it was still obvious what she was teaching. Highly recommended.

Great teacher, super approachable, patient and caring.

She is really good, though a strong suggestion is that you use youtube to help you prep for her mid-terms and finals, because youtube really helps you clarify somethings that she might miss or either she didn't have enough time to cover. Overall I think she's a good professor I got a B+, which isn't all that great for this class. Take her though!

Easy class, great prof. She goes over the concepts real well so just pay attention and don't go on the internet and you'll get an A for sure. She basically tells you what will be on the exam so you know what to prepare for and there aren't any surprises. Highly recommended.

Meena is one of the best CBSY professor in Kwantlen. Her teaching methods are very easy to follow and straight forward. If you read all the assigned readings and complete the assignments, it's very easy to get an A+. Pay attention to her lectures, she often gives out what might be on the exams.

She allows us "cheatsheets" and formula sheets as well as class notes for tests - depending on how the class feels about the content. 3 tests, 3 assignments. She is so great, I would definitely take her again ! :)

She was a good CBSY profbut just a horrible prof for BUQU. Gets half the answers wrong herself and gets corrected by the class. Doesn't explain stuff properly and just skims through slides. 2 Midterms are okay but Final is stupid

Meena is very clear on what she expect. She is always there to help if you don't understand something. Inclass examples are very helpful. She tells you similar types of questions that will be on the exam. Strongly recommend to people who struggles with business math and other math course like I do. :)

Great class and a great prof, she's willing to help you if you need help. Classes are a mix of lecture and in class exercises. She highly recommends you do more exercises on your own point and that really helped. Exams were fairly easy, I would definitely take one of her classes again.

One of the best profs at KPU. She's very friendly and will help anytime and day. Midterm's are easy if you understand what's going on. Ask her for help, she'll try explaining in different methods to help you. Look at the ppt. and mostly the exercises. Just show up listen and do the exercises.

Meena is super sweet and very helpful. Her classes only cover what you need to know to pass her tests, and she is a very easy marker. The textbook explanations were totally confusing, so show up and pay attention and you'll pass no problem.

Meena is super nice. Stats is quite a hard course, but Meena tries to make it as simple as possible. She allows cheat sheets and textbook use during midterms and finals. As long as you pay attention in class and take notes, you should be good! HIGHLY recommend her, she's a great prof.

Great prof, she teaches a lot simpler than the textbook. Textbook is only used for practice. But she also posts a lot of practice questions on moodle, so textbook isn't really a must. She allows a cheat sheet for midterms and final.

Great prof. Bought the textbook but didn't need it in the end, though she does recommend it only for extra practice. Everything that needs to be known is covered during class. Doing the quizzes also helped prep for the midterms and final and she allows you to bring a cheat sheet.

I am so glad that I took Business Stats with Meena Bhagat. She is an awesome prof that really cares about her students. I didn't think the textbook was mandatory because her pp slides are very detailed. She covers a lot in one class so don't expect to skip classes and still do well. An A+ is definitely possible if you make sure to reread her notes.

One of the best profs at kpu. She covers everything you need to know in her lectures, so dont skip. Exams are similar to the sample exams posted on moodle. Very helpful during office hours and explains everything in detail. Theres no reason to get less than an A in her class because she makes it so easy. Also, I loved her British accent.

Best prof ive ever had by far. She is extremely nice, and her lectures are super helpful for the quizzes and the exams. Most of the class is based on excel, so if you are not good with computers, i dont recommend the class. Overall, her class is great, and would recommend. Also, i never opened the textbook even once, and she never will refer to it.

Great teacher! She was so helpful whenever anyone had problems. Didn't use the textbook. A lot of in-class exercises. She would pull exercises out of the textbook and post them on moodle so buying the book wasn't necessary. You rely heavily on the Texas Instruments BAII Plus Calculator. She has skype hours after school which was very helpful.

Meena is actually the best prof at Kwantlen. Business Statistics was beyond easy; she allowed a double sided cheat sheet during every exam and it is impossible to score less than a B on her exams. She has the cutest British accent that made it impossible not to pay attention to her lectures.

Meena is great! If you need help she is always willing to help via email, or office hours, or phone. I emailed her with questions about assignments all the time and she would reply with instructions on how to do it. Very helpful!! Make sure you do lots of practicing (just like any other math class). Lets you bring a note paper on every exam !!!

Hands down to the best prof. She's a BOMB in BUQU. I have the best BUQU class at KPU so far bc I didn't enjoy my previous one. I got 60s. Tip: Read her PowerPoint, Practice and note more, and be prepared her class. She allows cheat sheet. No txtbk. She's helpful to assist during office hours. In short, no doubt to take her class. Trust me.

meena bhagat is a great professor. she goes out of her way to help the students. the weekly quizes are worth 20% and her exams her exactly easy if you attend the classes and pay attention. its easy to score A . I kept stats and maths with her and she was great. thanks :)

She is amazing at teaching. I took her for business math and intro to statistics. She cares a lot about her students. You have a weekly quiz online to improve your grade. She might give you some extra credit if you don't miss any quiz or any class. Attendance is a big thing for her, if you miss class you won't pass and she won't help you.

Meena is the BEST PROF I have had at KPU. She truly believes in her students success and even replies on the weekends (her days off). She always goes the extra mile to help her students. Her class lectures are so helpful she explains everything so clearly. I would 100% recommend Meena! She has made this class a very memorable experience.

She is extremely helpful. She will assist you in class and outside of class hours. You get 4 chances at the quiz of each chapter which accumulates to 20% of the grade, she has a group section to each exam, so again free percentage. And the course is not homework heavy whatsoever. I wish i had her for my Business Stat as well.

Meena is a great prof, she really cares about the success of her students and wants to make sure you do well in the course. She does her best to make a more difficult course as easy and practical as possible. Exams are hard but she's pretty reasonable with her marks and gives marks even if you get the answer wrong but the steps are right.

Absolutely recommend Meena for BUQU1130! She is amazing at explaining the material and makes sure everyone understands a question before moving on. She really cares about the students. Quizzes are open book, easy and worth 20%. Cheatsheet for midterms and finals really helped. also each midterm is 5% group work. 100% recommend this teacher!

good prof and class overall, don't need to put in too much time for the class but has 3 midterms that are all weighted pretty heavily. Less difficult than pre-calc 12.

BUQU1230 itself is a pretty hard class (definitely a step up from 1130), but as long as you don't fall behind it's 100% manageable. Meena's lectures usually weren't too long but still got the point across. Solid option if you need the class.

I can stress this enough Mrs. Bhagat is the best prof I have had. I have taken BUQU 1130 and 1230 with her and she has done amazing. My class was online and I find some of the pre-recorded lectures very fast pace and sometimes hard to keep up with. But she re explains and goes through examples in class. She is AMAZING and CARES about her Students.

Easy class because she lets you use cheat sheets for exams and a couple attempts for weekly assignments. She expects you to pick things up really quickly as she doesn't like going over the same thing numerous times, but she explains things in a way that makes it easy to understand. And, no textbook purchase required! Definitely recommend.
