She is an excellent teacher. She knows her stuff. Easy test and is willing to help you if you need it. She is real easy. Make sure you write down all of your notes. That's what you test will be on. I Recommend her to everyone

Meena is amazing!! She is the nicest, most caring and understanding professor ever! You can tell that she is super smart and knows her stuff. Her class is a blast because she always gets the class in a discussion. An added bonus to the class is that she is real eye candy as well.

Meena is youth and enthusiastic. You can tell she's a sociologist because she's always listening and relating to the students. She skips the BS and only teaches what you need to know. There's a few random questions on each test, but other than that they're easy and fair. :)

Miss Meena made class alot of fun. We did alots of notes but she also showed movies, video clips and we did presentations to help understand lectures. Dr. Sharma is very clear on what she expects from students. We had 3 tests, including the final. We also had a research paper that was worth 10% of the class. All you have to do is read the chapters and take the post tests, there are really easy discussion board or critical thinking questions on there as well. I just took her final online today and Aced it! It's an online class that forces you to learn, and your guaranteed. Loved it!

If you're taking SOC 131 in the spring or summer, be prepared for A LOT of reading. You also have to do critical thinking questions. All in all, it was easy. Easy online class. But Sharma gets annoying. She is a very tedious grader on the discussion boards and critical thinking. DO EVERYTHING SHE SAYS. You have about 5 DB and CT throughout the semester. A quiz 15 Qs in 15 min every week on a chapter. Save all quizez bc they show up on the final. Make sure your emails are super friendly. No extra credit.

Fairly easy class. Took online. Test every week and easy assignments every week. Must read the text to do good!

total itch! i got 90-100 on all the tests. Did everything and occasionally walked in a couple minutes late to class. I had a 487/500 in the class. She automatically deducted 50pts because i walked in tardy couple times. Ended up getting a B+! total bulls..t!

She will change your schooling.... If you allow it. People should stop making their personal issues her fault.. If you can't make it to class on time, how is that her fault? If you are 1% away from passing, well you are a college student.. Act like it? She does a great job teaching.. Thats all she has to do.. Do your work and you will love her.

We had these post tests online every week, but they literally were the tests in class. We had four tests (post tests put together) and no final or midterm! Such a fabulous professor. Work hard in the class and you will do great. Study the post tests, make notecards of the lectures. If you do poorly you didn't do what you are asked in syllabus. Paper at the end is pretty easy, but it's college not 8th gade. If you want a teacher who gives grades away go to wayne county.

Semester is almost over and I really enjoyed this class. I wish it was offered on campus. Seems like a nice woman. I never needed to email her for questions, so it was never a problem for me. Do your work and you'll pass the course. Hasn't responded to any emails all semester but I got continued my work as best as possible and earned a good grade. Read instructions carefully.

Easy class. Never opened the textbook. The course consist of weekly chapter tests and once in awhile there is a discussion post. The teacher is very helpful if you are having a technical problem immediately email her and she will help. Don't wait last minute for the assignments.

Dr. Sharma is an amazing professor, don't take the online class if you're not up for a post test on each chapter every week. Also, try not to skip any tests, I missed one and it dropped my grade from an A+ to a A-. A lot of the answers for the quizzes can be found online as well.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Her lectures were always interesting and if you pay attention to her slides, then you'll pass the tests for sure. She's very clear and goes over the test before you even take it, so it's still fresh in your mind.

Dr. Sharma 's course was awesome. Best course I ever took online. The syllabus is clear cut, just follow instructions. I got an "A+" by just doing everything I was supposed to do. She gets back to emails pretty quick and is really nice.

I took her online course for SOC131. Seriously the easiest course I have taken online.... HIGHLY recommend! Any one complaining about the online work is insane. There was one 15 question test every week timed at 15 mins, some discussion boards and critical thinking mixed in on some weeks. EASY EASY CLASS.

HIGHLY recommend. Make sure everything is turned on time. Very straightforward: Reading and quiz each week with a few critical thinking assignments (which are based on reading, but are your personal view). Study the quizzes/concepts and you will pass the final. Would HIGHLY recommend.

I took Dr Sharma for an online class and loved it. I did everything on schedule and got an A+. Very simple online class if you do the work each week. Her class is very straightforward and organized. Do the work and you will get an A Simple as that.

If you are thinking of taking SOC 131 I highly recommend Dr. Sharma!!! I only had her for one class but I would definitely take her again. Her syllabus is clean cut and straight to the point. If you're looking for an easy class to take I would highly recommend this. The work isn't heavy, just occasional choice boards and a quiz every week that has all the answers on Quizlet. I recommend her, she is responsive through email and I learned a lot during the duration of her course.

If you just put in the effort to pay attention during lectures and read the power points on the chapters that she provides (you don't need to buy the textbook) you will pass this class with no issues. She doesn't give out difficult assignments. She always says she wants to give her students an A, JUST WORK FOR IT!! She is an extremely kind teacher.

By far the easiest professor ive had only 1 quiz a week and 3 critical thinkings throughout the semester and a final exam. She responds quickly also when ever you need help and the easiest sociology class compared to the others which my friends have taken

Great and easy class was so glad that it was the least of my worries through out the whole semester theres some try-hards and nerds in some of the reviews that say she doesnt teach. If you want a class where u struggle and get bad grades in just because you want to "learn" in it then go do that elsewhere.

Her class was extremely easy as long as you put in the effort, her exams were not difficult at all. For me personally when emailing her she responds as long as you put the course name and section in the subject line and add your name at the end of the email. She was never rude at all, actually kinda funny when she would talk to us her students.

She is such a cool teacher, the people in the reviews are correct about her emailing problems but overall she is a great teacher. Just do your work and study for your exams (which there isn't many), just quizzes every week and those are so easy. I would recommend her if you want an easy professor!

Professor Meena is an interesting lecturer, though her email responsiveness can be inconsistent. The class workload is manageable - just stay on top of the weekly quizzes and exams. unstuck study was a lifesaver for test prep!

I really fair lots of Professors these days forget that learning should be both pushing you to put in effort but also encourage students to love the learning process. So I love this Professor style of teaching. Being able to engage with the topics and apply what you learn is such a good thing!

Dr. Sharma is amazing, taking her again for a different class. Light work load, exams are based off of mini quizzes you do online, very funny and engaging.

I am unsure of how this professor has bad reviews. I took this class completely online and every answer was available online. By far the most free credits of my academic career. The one thing this professor does not accept is late work and assignments are due weekly. Did not interact with the professor throughout the entirety of the course.

If you want to get an easy A, take it with her.
