Mrs. Bell is an awesome teacher! She made everything really easy to understand and made class fun. I would definitely recommend her for COM 110!

I took Mrs. Bell for public speaking this fall. You should certainly take her class if you can. She grades kind of hard, but it is fair. And if you follow the directions and read the study guide you'll do fine. Her class is fun, she doesn't lecture too much but does activities. And her looks will definitely keep you paying attention. Just saying.

Wonderful teacher. She was very helpful. Speeches were graded harder than written work, but it was on the dot every time. You get what you earn in her class. It's definitely not a hard class when she is teaching it.

Love Mrs. Bell. Public speaking is not a class I wanted to take, but she made it alright. Just know that you will have to get up in front of the class alot. One of the nicest teachers Ive had.

That last person is totally wrong. I took Mrs. Bell for public speaking and she is one of the most helpful teachers I've ever had. I went to her office for help and my grade improved sigificantly. I'll definitely have an A and everyone should take her for public speaking. She's also really nice and funny.

It is so easy to get an A in this class she gives you a rubric and tells you exactly what to do. Just do it like she asks and you will make a good grade. She always answers emailes pretty quick and helped me every time I asked. Mrs. Bell is the best teacher I've had at Wake Tech.

I took public speaking in the spring with Mrs. Bell. You can't go wrong. Besides really knowing her stuff, she knows how to deal with all kinds of students. One of the best I've had.

Mrs. Bell's is cool because she wants you to speak up and she never makes you feel dumb. She finds some value in what everybody says even if you get it wrong. And even if it sounds kinda dumb lol. I felt alright taking in her class and I usually don't.

Mrs. Bell is a good teacher. This is an easy class if you pay attention in class and participate. She uses PowerPoints for the chapters and she gives us fun activities to do in class. She's very bubbly and definitely knows what she's doing. She expects respect though and doesn't tolerate any nonsense or attitude. I would take a course w/ her again.

I took Mrs. Bells intro to communication class. I liked her alot. Sometimes her tests seemed too hard, but she does give you notes and a study guide. She makes the class fun and interesting. She isn't uptight about stuff.

I had Mrs. Bell for 231 online. I loved her. Lots of feedback, way more than you usually get with online teachers. Every time I emailed her she responded very fast, within a day. It does kinda suck having to have audience members for speeches, but we all know its required from the start. And being a PUBLIC speaking class it isn't surprising.

I was hesitant about taking this class online, but I am so glad I did. Mrs. Bell is a great professor. She is approachable and responds within a day on emails. Best online teacher I have had!

She is incredibly enthusiastic about teaching and I enjoyed hearing her lectures.

Lots of discussion and very little lecturing. Lots of videos and group work and stuff that breaks it up. SHe's always smiling and ended up one of my favorites this semester.

I was so nervous to take this class because I am terrified of speaking in public but we only had to do it 3 times out of the whole semester. She makes you feel so comfortable and there was nothing to be scared of at all. It is impossible to fail her class as long as you try.

Professor Bell is wonderful! Clear grading criteria and wants you to succeed. There were a few speeches, but they weren't really that hard. Great feedback and class participation. She really values your input and ideas in the class and is open to discussion about topics. I would definitely take another one of her classes.

I had Professor Belle for online public speaking. Not my favorite class, but she was great. She responded to my emails fast and graded fairly. You have to stay on your toes and do things like she wants, but if you do that and pay attention to her announcements the class isn't so bad.

I took Ms. Bell for Com 110 - Intro to Communication (online) class and I must admit, she was excellent. I was quite nervous taking this 8 week summer course, but I did well. Her information on blackboard is extremely organized, her lessons are fairly engaging, and she truly cares about her students learning the material. Just do your work. :)

Mrs. Bell saved my grade. She is a tough grader but if you come to her for help, she is there for you. She wants her students to succeed but she does not back down from her rules, so follow them.

If you're expecting to be able to turn stuff in late, get extensions, get to redo assignments, and that rules are only suggestions, Mrs. Bell is not the teacher for you. If you understand deadlines, hard work, rules, and are accountable for your own mistakes, you will succeed in this class.

One of the best! Anyone leaving a negative comment must not have done well in her class, which means they must not have gone to her for help or followed her clear rules. I was doing bad and asked her for help with the next speech. Guess what? Made an A on it.

Great professor. I feel like I can speak in public now and I never would have said that before. She helped me tremendously when I got behind and my grade started to suffer. Would for sure take her again.

I loved her! She's very understanding and clearly cares about her students. As long as you pay attention and take notes/read, it's hard to fail her class. She's very clear about what she wants/expects, and does her best to provide extra credit opportunities. Highly recommend!

Mrs. Bell was a great teacher. It's a little weird right now with COVID but she does a good job to stay connected and explain the material. Follow the rubrics and pay attention to how to asks you to complete assignments and you'll get a good grade.

Professor Bell is very understanding and accommodating when it comes to COVID-19. Along with this, she provides extra credit on certain assignments if you turn them in early, which is much appreciated. Remember to stick to her formatting or you will lose points. Overall, you can tell she really enjoys what she teaches.

Mrs. Belle is the GOAT. Organized and easy to follow. Nice and bubbly and makes good videos. She'll work with you if you have a problem, but don't come at her with attitude because she will let you know about it with a quickness.

Professor Bell is a great professor. She grades assignments in a timely manner and as long as you read the rubric you will do great. I recommend her for all communication classes at Wake Tech.

She responded back to emails in a timely manner. Weekly quizzes, discussion board, and homework assignment. Read the chapter weekly and you'll ace the 10 question quizzes!

Mrs. Bell is one of the sweetest teachers Ive had. I had a rough semester due to personal issues and she bent over backwards to make sure I succeeded in the class. So glad I took her class.

I didnt really like the class because public speaking isnt fun, but if you have to take it, take Prof. Bell. She grades everything within a week and lets you know what you can do better next time. I still hate public speaking but I do think Im better at it now.

I've taken her twice now and loved her both times. She helps you when you need it. She is flexible and understands that things happen. You can tell she cares about her students. I wish I needed another com course.

I had a very decent experience with this professor. If you try your best, you will get an A. I did an Honors Project with her and she was helpful but was not very hands on. She kind of just let me do my own thing. I think that was helpful because it showed me that if you really need her, you just need to ask and she is happy to give it.

Prof. Bell is one of the warmest and kindest teachers I've ever had. She works hard to make class interesting and fun while also making sure we get plenty of public speaking practice. I was anxious to take this class but, she made it welcoming. I made friends and felt like everyone was a family by the end of the semester.

I've taken three of her classes now. I don't think she teaches anything else, but I wish she did. Very clear expectations and clear communication. I guess that makes sense lol. A good choice for a class.

Professor Bell was an enthusiastic teacher. Her lectures were entertaining and she gave many examples throughout. I think it is pretty easy to get good grades as long as you keep up with the assigned work. The only downside is I feel like she is sometimes a slow grader and she takes forever to respond to emails.

Mrs. Bell is a ray of sunshine. You learn a lot in her class. She has a "life happens" policy where you get to turn in one assignment late during the semester with no questions asked. I wish everyone did that. She's funny and wears cute outfits. Everyone likes her.

Best class I've taken BY FAR. Incredibly engaging, she's incredibly nice, assignments were light and very easy. Wish I could take every class she teaches.

I didn't expect to get a lot out of intro-to-interpersonal comm but I learned a lot! Her lectures were engaging with a lot of class discussion, which was a lot of fun! She's pretty slow at grading things but her policies are pretty lenient and as long as you stick to the rubric you're good for most of the big assignments. Definitely take her!!

By the end of the semester my class felt like a family. I enjoyed all the group work where you get to know everyone and everyone is supportive. It makes giving the speeches a lot easier. I will miss Mrs. Bell.

Prof. Bell is a great teacher. Anyone who throws out phoebe lyrics to help explain nonverbals gets mad respect from me. And she helped me out with my outline one day on a Sunday because it was due on Monday. She didn't have to. I was scared to take this class but didn't need to be. Recommend.

The most organized online class I've taken. All info is in the announcements or lesson folders. Do what she says to do the way she says to do it and you will make an A. A lot of useful info that helps relationships also.

Took it online, wasn't bad, usually a quiz and homework due every Tuesday. A few major projects that are easy, makes you do a group project which is a nightmare, had a horrible group who did their work 3 hours before the deadline. Emailed her a few times she was quick to respond, but not super helpful. Clear grading criteria, I hate wake tech pos.

This was my second class with Professor Bell. She is the sweetest adn she helped me a lot. We had a really good class. She gives a million chances and helps you do well

This class was not difficult. There are weekly quizzes based on the content, several papers, and one group project. If you follow the instructions provided, you can earn a good grade since expectations are clear. There isn't much instructor interaction, but the major test is based on studied material.

Good easy class. One group project but it was good. Read the textbook and you are fine. Exams not proctored

Not my favorite class, but my favorite professor. She does make you get up in front of the class a lot. You get to know the other students so its gets easier. She's nice and cute. Do stuff like she says and you'll be fine.
