she made this fairly simple math class, interesting. she is very clear in her lectures and even gives you the notes so you don't have to write them out. if you do your homework you'll do well...but be careful her quizes like to trick you...

huh? This is the 2nd time I've had to take 101, and believe me, my last teacher gave no extra credit or cheat sheets. Yeah, Megan changed the policy (which isn't the coolest thing), but I'm just glad I didn't get the grade strictly from 50% quizzes/50% final. I would have had a C instead of my B-.

Good teacher. Posts notes on her website and is an easy grader. Has quizzes on Fridays on occasion. Take her class and you can pretty much guarantee an A.

Megan was by far the coolest teacher that I have had. She knows what she is doing. There was never a point where I didnt understand what she was saying. Whenever someone needs help she is there and willing to stay as long as you need it. When I take another math class I am definitely going to look for Megan!

Megan freaking ROCKS as a math teacher. That one stupid kid who gave her a bad review doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. All of her lessons more than make sense to me, for once I actually "get" math, and if I did have any questions, usually on homework, she always went over them in addition to being available during office hours.

Best Math teacher I have ever had. She takes the time to make notes of every chapter and posts them on blackboard for your convenience. If you pay attention in class you will learn the material because she is very clear is her explanations. Really nice and down to earth. Shes a Yankees fan tho so red sox fans stay away!:)

She gives you all the notes, you get a full page of notes for each test, she drops your worst one, and on top of that is a really good teacher. Probably the best math class I have ever taken.

She is a really great teacher, but she wont go out of her way to help you so put in the effort to do your homework the day you go over it in class. It almost ensures you'll get a good grade. Quizes are about once a week and they are really easy if you've done the homework (which never takes long). She's quick and to the point and made math easy.

She is awesome! Attendance is not mandatory however there are a few pop quizzes and it's not a bad class to sit through. She's funny and she explains concepts thorougly. A full page, front and back, cheat sheet is allowed :)

she's great. make sure you go to class all the time. she helps with about everything. i ask to meet u before and she'll be there to help u with anything u need. make sure u do the homework. class is easier if u do it.

Very blunt and matter of fact. Pretty tough grader, but she is very willing to work with you and help you. pretty tough quizzes - she will make sure you understand the concepts with tough problems. recommended if you stay on top of your work.

Take her for math!!! she is extremely easy as long as you understand the topic. she teaches very clearly and you can learn a lot from her. she does not take attendance, tells you when all the quizzes are, you have cheat sheets for all the tests. all homework is online and very easy.

pretty chill lady, nothing but lectures but pretty easy to follow. textbook bows but you barely use it. homework is short and sweet. lots of quizzes. just go to class and listen and you'll be fine

shes super nice and extremely helpful, but a little chanllenging. make sure you do all the homework and do it correctly because the TA checks everything. she makes all the notes for you before so all you have to do is print them out, but still go to most of the classes

Great at the beginning of the semester. Towards the end of the semester she tends to skip the actual teaching part of her job and just assigns hw assuming the students will teach themselves. Her course material is well organized but she herself is extremely antsy and a bit distracting.

First off I had to take Math 112 twice. Not a big Math fan whatsoever. Granich however is straight and to the point and always avalible for extra help. She warns you ahead of time about what will be on quizzes and test. Just do your homework and you'll do very well. However, she does assign alot of homework. Class is Mandatory.

She writes the notes for you and all you have to do if fill in example problems which she does on the board. Her notes explain EVERYTHING and are very helpful. Just do the homework and you'll be fine.

She is awesome! I hated calculus until I had her. Her notes are extremely helpful and although her tests can be hard she grades them fairly and if you study you can get an A! I would highly reccommend her. She is very organized and keeps her class organized. It is difficult to fail this class as long as you do the work and put in the effort.

Professor Granich is by far the best math teacher/professor I have ever had. This is my second course that I have taken with her. She takes confusing text from the book and puts it into a way that is more easy for you to understand. And, she has a quirky personality that makes math fun and interesting. I would recommend taking a course with her.

She was one of the best math teachers I have ever had. However, I would recommend practicing the hardest problems in the book prior to taking an Exam.

She is a nice teacher and a funny person, but this class was way harder than expected. I was good at math but her tests completely through me off everytime. TOUGH class, and it goes by very fast pace. Her style of note taking is great but you need to be alert at all times to understand well

Megan is a great teacher, she makes calculous an enjoyable class and is an amazing teacher. To get a good grade just study for the tests/quizzes. Those are hard but if you do homework/study a bit you'll be good.

There's a reason when you type in Loyola Marymount University on this site, Granich is one of the most popular teachers. She is bar-none the best math teacher I have ever had. My only problem is that the tests seem to be extremely difficult compared to the quizzes and homework. But she knows what she's talking about. For 112, take Granich.

Dr. Granich is the best! Take her, take her, take her. Calculus is a hard subject but she goes above and beyond helping out and providing timely feedback to her students. One of the best math teacher I've ever had, lectures are crystal clear. there are always useful notes on blackboard that you can refer to. Tests are almost 100 percent based on the HW. I did every single HW problem before each test, and got an A- as my final grade. A lot of extra credits stuff can bump up your grade, like dropping the worst grade.
