great professor! explains everything clearly, but can go a little slow at times.. towards the end of the semester, short class periods.. extra credit if you show up to class.. really great person!

She is a very nice teacher and helps out alot. Her tests are extremely difficult. The information given in class is usually an easy example of the topic and then when presented on the exam it is a very difficult example of the topic.

This was the best teacher I have had yet. Many extra credit opportunities and is very easy going about EVERYTHING. Always shared her life stories (which were most of the time very funny) at the beginning of class. Will help you every time and explains everything crystal clear!

Class is somewhat difficult if you don't know anything about accounting, but if you have the slightest idea about it this class is really easy. Assessments are a HUGE pain, but they really boost your grade so you have to do them and do well on them, they're over half of your grade. Teacher is bangin

The lectures were a bit irrelevant sometimes and would be just an iceberg to what the chapter is all about to which would end with an incredibly difficult exam. No kidding! For every test we had, average was a 70! In the end, final was take home which saved me and ended up with a B. How the hell could anyone get an A with this class?

She does rambleon sometime andshe moves very slow but you can tell that she knows what she is talking about. If you need any help she will work with you and schedule a time for you to come into her office and she will teach you one on one this works very well. She is a very nice and interesting person...very clumbsy at times.

She left a lot of hard stuff off the tests. Sometimes she would try to "dumb down" the lesson too much and ended up confusing me more. Overall a GREAT teacher, HIGHLY recommend.

Megan is the best. One of my favorite professors at WVU without a doubt. I figured I would dread accounting, but it was actually one of my favorite courses last semester because of her. Her stories from weekends in Morgantown aren't too bad either. She's fun, and a great, helpful professor. Make sure you take her, avoid Denise White at all costs.

Megan is GREAT. She really is. Her class isn't boring and she knows what she is doing/talking about. However, her exams are VERY hard. I actually have to take this class, and I do plan on taking it again with her because she is a great teacher and is pretty much available all the time for extra help, but you really need to STUDY for days.

Megan was one of the best teachers i have had a wvu so far. Always avaiable to help and was easy to communicate with. I truely felt she genuinely cared about the grade you received. Megan is a great teacher. The difference between her and Lynch is night and day for ACCT 201. She is much clearer in her lectures and structures the class so that it is easier to get a better grade as long as you do the hw and prepare well for tests. Not to mention she is a hard 9 on a scale of 1-10.

took acct 201 with Megan, only got 4560 on every test, and then on the final I got a 100% and she gave extra credit for some homework assignments so I ended up getting an A in the class.. Don't but the book it is Not worth it, just get the access code. do all your homeworks and you'll be fine. easy class

Megan was one of the best teachers ive had here at wvu i was scared going into accounting but she made it interesting. exams arent that hard didnt study much ended up getting 80's on all of my exams. Lots of homework but its worth alot. Dont do the homework and you will fail the class

Probably the best professor I've had at WVU. She genuinely cares about her students' success and will make sure you understand the material. I hated accounting to begin with but ultimately changed my major to accounting by the end of the semester. A genuinely amazing professor.

Megan is down to earth, doesn't act like she's above anyone else, and doesn't want you "to regurgitate the textbook." Her lectures get right to the point of what is actually needed and all of the extra nonsense is left out. She assigned 2 projects and 3 case studies that actually utilized concepts in real life type applications. AMAZING PROFESSOR!

This class is super easy as long as you show up to lectures and do the homework. She did a great job at explaining everything and was eager to help if you had questions. We got let out of lecture early a lot and the tests only took me like 20 minutes.

Took her acct 201 class and she was great! The homeworks are harder then the Exams. Her TA has exam review sessions, 100% would recommend going. Its basically the exam that will be given.

She is personable and knows what shes talking about. She mainly cares to see that you know the material and isnt super picky on how you learn it just as long as you know it. Understands the struggles of being a student.

Megan shows a lot of concern for her students and goes out of her way to make them feel comfortable with the material they have to learn. Homework assignments are harder than the exams, so don't freak out about the content. The only negative things I can say is that she is slow with emails and grading. Other than that, pretty solid professor.

Megan was a great professor and I would definitely take a class with her as a professor again. The class is a generally hard one, but Megan made it easy to understand and gave plenty of study materials. She did not take attendance, but there are case assignments in class every few weeks, and its hard to pass if you skip.

If you're not an accounting major and are just taking this class because you have to, take Megan. She's very understanding and takes the material at a solid pace so you don't feel overwhelmed. Make sure to not skip on a day you have an in class assignment because you don't want to miss those points. HIGHLY recommend and would easily take her again!

Megan really cares about her students and will go above and beyond to help you. Homeworks are more difficult than the exams, but she does this so you'll be prepared for the exams. She doesn't take attendance but it really helps to go to class to understand the material better. However, if you miss class, her TA puts the notes for the day online.

I really liked her as both a teacher and a person. I was struggling real bad throughout the semester and she went above and beyond to help me out and make sure I was kept on track. I had to drop the class because I changed my major, but I would highly recommend her for accounting.

Megan is a cool chick who makes a really tough class seemingly bearable. Its not easy by any means but if you follow her set up you should get a B with like 60% effort. Homeworks are significantly harder than the exams and some exam questions come from the practice ones posted on ecampus. Would definitely take again for 202.

While attendance is not mandatory, you're going to want to go to class to really understand material. Does lots of examples in class which help you understand how to do different problems. Exams can be somewhat difficult, but she is fantastic at helping the class learn new material in a simple way.

Megan is very personable and very accessible outside of class, I was in her 201 & 202 course and received an A in both. The homework assignments are a lot harder than exams but if you prepare using the homework you will be more than prepared. The grading scale allows for at least a B average with some effort. She gives great exam review materials!

This is one of few professors that I have had that her lectures actually match up with the homework and exams. Explains everything in detail and will answer any questions that you have. She cares more about you understanding the coursework and getting good grades than anything else. Very approachable, cracks funny jokes, kinda still a college girl.

She's a great professor, super understanding and is really approachable. The content is really basic as long s you listen to her lectures and take notes, you should be fine. There is some tedious homework on Connect but it helps understand concepts.

She gave examples of difficult concepts to help with the projects. She got sick a few times and did Zoom lectures. Just pay attention, manage your time (often 2 things due same day), and you're pretty much set.

Shes one of the most caring professors Ive had. Shell go out of her way to make sure you succeed in her class. She gives real life examples relating to the material covered in class, and she tries her best to make lecturers fun. If you dont like accounting, take someone else, but if youre an accounting major, take her class.

She went off topic sometimes and there'd be times I'd get questions on some homework or quiz where I never heard her explain it, but you can learn it pretty easily with the Quizlets online. Overall nice teacher.

Megan was very understanding, and the way that she sets her class up benefits students greatly. 'Projects' were weighted as heavily as tests, which really helped because projects were easy. However, in terms of lectures, a lot of the time was spent talking about other things, and the last 20 minutes was talking about course content.

What I have noticed through Accounting 201 and 202 you can teach yourself to some extent. Megan was very nice and relatable during lectures and online Zooms. Although she does tend to NOT respond to emails and has to be reminded a few times to check on something. I would take her again, she has good experience in the real world and is v caring.

I really liked Professor McBride, but I hated the class. I think she did a good job explaining, but the course moves really fast. Especially when you've never touched accounting a day in your life. I think that she's a very understanding person though and tries her best to work with you. A lot of class days were held via zoom which was nice.

Great professor for Accounting 201 and 202. Professor McBride makes it easy to succeed, and the content matches up with exams. She helps you with the projects and allows unlimited attempts on all of the homework. She explains the information well so you understand. I would take her again for higher accounting classes if she taught them.

One of the best professors I've had so far. Mostly online work and she basically holds your hand through the entire course which eases the stress of college. She communicated everything very well. The only downside I can think of is her lectures were kind of difficult to take notes from. Overall just a great human and professor.

reviewers claiming she doesn't answer emails or that she is unforgiving with late work -- lazy ppl thinking they should not have to do college level work. It's clear from the syllabus and lecture. She doesnt make the late work policies, you must go through dept. youre failing because youre lazy, she makes it as easy as possible.

This class is overall pretty easy. She goes over homework, projects, and gives extra credit reguarly. Every friday we go over our work on zoom and she is known to move class to zoom frequently. She quickly responds to emails and answers questions. Follow along and you'll be fine.

Megan McBride is fantastic. I had her for both Acct 201 and Acct 202 and shes easily become my favorite professor at WVU. Attendance isnt required but you'll fail the class if you dont go. She explains the material extremely well and leaves time in lectures for questions. Also Very approachable and wants you to succeed. Overall I think shes great.
