Megan is soooooooo sweet! I took her aerobic hiphop class and it was so much fun. She knows what she's doing. She makes sure everyone can follow all the moves routine. She does a great job at teaching dancing and yoga!

The beauty of this woman rises above the rest, similar to the effect that Mt. Rainier has on the Seattle landscape. Her eyes sparkle like the North Star, guiding me towards my pursuit of physical health. She is the angel of light, carrying the Beacon of Beauty with her to all her classes. It has been a priviledge getting to work with her.
She's cute, and sounds fun, but this class is on an individual basis. The thing that disappointed me was that she didn't urge anyone to come in during the times listed. I ended up dropping the class with a medical withdrawal, but I hadn't done any of the work we were supposed to record, and I think that if I faked it, I would have passed anyway.

She is a beautiful teacher but seems to repeat herself. I had her before and it feels the like the same stuff...
Toney is a very spritely yoga instructor. Her classes are fabulous for an introduction to yoga, but perhaps not too challenging to a seasoned yoga goer. I felt that one of her best qualities as a teacher was that you never feel as though she's judging you or being critical. She also has very eclectic taste in music.

Megan is an amazing person and dancer! I took her aerobics hip hop class and it was so much more fun than i imagined. You get a good workout and the dances go well with the music. She is always smiling and in a good mood. Such a fabulous teacher! Final was to teach the class a routine, and she was encouraging to everyone. want to take adv hiphopnow
I took her YoPi (Yoga Pilates) class this fall quarter. It involves an easy muscle quiz, a simple group presentation, a health follow-up questionnaire and a final test of 3 different yoga poses. Easy & fun! BUT don't ever LEAVE the BLUE MATS unorganized off their cupboard or else she'd give you extra planks + cruches! :-) She's awesome overall.
If you set up individual hours for this class you really don't even need to work out. You can just sign in and out on the clipboard. The only "assignments" for the quarter were a goal packet, midterm packet which focused on your eating habits, and the final which was a one page paper. You do need to keep a log of your workouts, but she is flexible.
Great course! She graded assignments fast and got back to my emails fast. She was awesome.

This class was very easy. All you have to do to pass is put in effort. There are only 2 VERY easy tests. However, if you are looking for a hard workout, this is not the class for you. This yoga class is focused on restoration and is very easy on the body. I don't think I sweated all quarter. Very good class if you are lookin for an easy A. love her
This is a super easy class. Just show up and try. The midterm and final took like 5 minutes and maybe three minutes of study time. If you aren't very athletic this is the class for you. This is a really EASY yoga class and focuses mostly on relaxation. If you want more of a workout, take another class. Really easy way to get 1.5 credits though.
The first writing assignment is goal setting answer it in complete sentences,and you will get 100%--it's that easy! Also mid term is a muscle group quiz you do with a group of classmates. Final is a short essay(1-2 page) making sure you reached your goals and if not what went wrong. She is awesome and is always smiling personality very cheerful.
Very nice, easygoing person. First assignment is goal-setting, "midterm" is identifying muscles (which isn't a test, just an activity), and the final is a short paper. Weekly journals for your workouts are required, but if you really don't like working out you can easily fake them.
She is the BEST teacher I've ever had! :) I took this class online and the class material is all very clear and organized (which is extremely important for online classes). This class is fun and not hard at all IF you do the reading and the assignments. It's fun to learn new things about our daily diet habit!
Megan is seriously the best teacher ever her yoga class was so relaxing my partner said at the end of it "im not sure if I need to take a nap or if I just did" I would recommend this class to absolutely everyone!!! btw there is no written work except for extra credit written work which is all done with a partner.
Super easy class. You don't even have to do most of the reading to complete assignments- it's all common knowledge. She gives full points on virtually everything, plus easy extra credit opportunities.
I only took the class because I had to but it was nice to relax. Though I do admit that sometimes it gets really uncomfortable for me because my body can only do so much and I'm really not a fan of the partner activities. But other than that I enjoyed the class, it was super easy as long as I showed up and put in effort on the midterm and the final
Ideal PE credits if rigorous exercise isn't your thing, absolutely lets you work at your own pace and doesn't judge you as long as you participate to your ability. Wasn't crazy about partner work, but it wasn't a big deal, and technically optional. Easy 4.0, and almost can't imagine anyone would ever have a complaint about her, she's great.
Very helpful- she knows her stuff. The assignments and reading were useful but she is a tough grader.
If your thinking about taking this class you should. It's really good.
Megan is an amazing Yoga instructor that really enjoys what she does. The class was awesome and I really learned a lot and got in better shape! I would take her class if your looking for a well structured, fun healthphysical education class!

This was a very enjoyable class. She has the calmest voice which made yoga even more relaxing. Poses weren't tough in my opinion.
Sweet woman, alternates music so no one gets bored, very relaxing! Poses are just challenging enough to be exercise, but chill enough to enjoy yourself. Best way I relieved stress all quarter.

I loved Megan's class! Her assignments are very easy, there's not that much reading to do and she doesn't really give quizzes. I liked that Megan always gives feedback after she grades an assignment and she's an easy grader.

I loved her class! I am taking a class from her again! She is so nice and really great at teaching yoga. I hated PE type classes until I took hers! She is so relaxing and makes sure that you don't hurt yourself. She gives a lot of extra credit, which is nice in case you are sick and miss class. Overall, one of the best teachers at EDCC :)
Very Very helpful and resourceful. Megan is the kind of teacher who would take the time for each student. Whenever I needed help in class or even with a personal health question she would always take her time to answer any questions you had. As being a learning disability student she was also very accommodating. I would highly recommended her.
This class is really good and not too hard. It is a long day tho. Shes good a making it interesting and we interact with other students.
I really liked Miss Toney. She is the best. Seriously this class such so good if you're into heath stuff. It's easy, too. It is all day but she makes it interesting. There are some food samples. There should be more, though lol. The guest speakers are good to mix it up.

I didn't think i'd like this class but the day went by really fast. Its focused mainly about weight loss so if your trying to gain wait it might not be as interesting. I just needed the credit but i got a lot out of it.
The teacher is really nice and I liked it. Since it only met on Saturday the teacher said you can email her for more help, so i did and she got back to me fast. There was a guest speaker also that was really good and interesting. Lots of variety. The experiments were fun and there were lots of different things. The works easy if you pay attention
This instructor is really rare because she cares about and how you're doing. The only thing you need to do is show up to class, do your best and turn off your phone you will leave satisfied and relaxed. The final was super creative and easy and laid back. She measures your progress at the beginning and at the end so it's you can see improvement.
This was my favorite class. I loved Toney and I am sad the class is over. She is so nice. There are these study question assignments you have to do every week from the textbook and they are kinda hard. But there is extra credit if you miss some. The class was totally interesting. I liked it.

Toney is the best teacher, and I hope all teachers or professors were like her. She opens all assignments at the beginning of the quarter until the due date, so you can work ahead. She offers extra credit easily. For instance, if you on time to class you get extra or do the extra credit assignment. She teaches well and cares about her students.

If you take yoga classes at EdCC with Megan Toney and you will be so happy you do. Her voice is exceptionally calming. The experience and expertise of her shows. There's a comforting emphasis on safety. Beginner friendly. I was not flexible to start with, and her class is good for that. I am more flexible now. Beware the room is really hot.
Professor Megan Toney is engaging and fun. She expects a lot from her students, as all good professors should. She goes above and beyond what is required of a professor and provides students with amazing opportunities to learn. She is the best professor I've had so far.
She is the sweetest teacher I've ever met, and she actually cares about her students, which is very important. She is extremely helpful and clear with what she wants. If you do all her work it is easy to pass with an A. she also has a very calming voice and leads some of the most interesting classes. she keeps it fresh with activities too.
I love her because she got us to do activities in class (instead of other teachers dry lecture) So much fun. Honestly, Toney is amazing. She inspired me so much. Her enthusiasm is contagious. I asked all types of questions from class materials and she made sure to come up with fun examples to help us understand. I recommend her class to you.

Megan is passionate and her subject and she cares a lot. She helps me above and beyond. Her class is fun and her tests are easy to study for. I will recommend her class to students like me who have ESL because she and her assignments are easy to understand. She is interesting to watch. I learned a lot about healthy food.

The course is good - Its not hard and not boring. This class helped a lot if you are trying to learn how to loose weight without going on a diet. The best happy teacher you will EVER have!!!

I have really enjoyed and greatly benefited from her yoga pilates classes with her! she is a dynamic, thoughtful, talented and lovely teacher, and person. I always look forward to my time with her. I have learned so much that benefits me deeply during my time with her and after i leave.

Megan is a sincerely caring teacher who always asks if the concerns I addressed with her in the past are doing okay and it makes me feel like she is really trying to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for everyone in her yoga classes. This is the second time I'm taking her yoga classes and I would recommend to anyone looking to unwind

The class meets only 1 time so thats unique. The teacher is good and splits up the day to make it more interesting. I took it with my sister and we both liked it and got an A.
Megan is so sweet, kind, and helpful. Her online health 150 was super easy and straightforward. She responds in a timely manner and I appreciate how she treats everyone.
If y'all want a class to relax this is it. It is a very very chilled out Yoga class with Pilates. I liked it. I got a 4.0. You got to choose how mellow or intense to make it. Extra nice teacher; very calming voice. Take your own mat because the ones there are small.
Megan taught at Edmonds for my first semester at college and I loved her. Her Nutrition class was absolutely phenomenal and helped me to finally understand tons more than I learned in high school Health. A very supportive, knowledgeable professor.
I took Megans Pilates classes (both) and enjoyed them! She is a great instructor and even though I was only taking the classes to fulfill a credit requirement, I discovered my love for yoga! I still practice yoga and Pilates to this day! Show up to class and you will pass because youre graded on attendance and participation. Youll enjoy it!

I took her for PE 120 & 220 and those courses actually inspired me to practice yoga, which I still do. There is only one final and it's written and not even hard if you pay attention to the poses you do and techniques. Worth it!
I LOVE MRS TONEY! She really helped me and actually responded to my emails when I needed any sort of help. She also responded and cared about everything I said and I loved that.

Megan is the sweetest professor at EDCC. She's very laid back, quick to respond to your questions, and you can for sure get an A if you follow her instructions and turn in your work on time. There were even easy extra credit opportunities sometimes.
Easiest class ever. I took nutrition and there are no due dates on assignments accept for the fact that they are all due when the class ends (which my class was only a month long). I did most of the assignments the day before the class ended and still got an A.
Professor Toney was funny, and knowledgeable, and willing to help when my group needed it. it was my favorite class this quarter. I liked the real-life examples to make things stick. I strongly recommend this instructor to anybody else. There was more writing than I expected, but extra credit also.

This quarter was a breeze. Really easy A and she offers extra credit opportunities. The zoom meetings are all optional and there are weekly journals. However, if you are genuinely trying to learn yoga and pilates you should attend, otherwise you just search for random YouTube videos.
Incredible professor! I really Enjoy taking Megan's classes. She is super gracious and kind. I have taken her Yoga, Mindfulness Weight, and Healthy Weight Loss class, and have enjoyed all of them. She leaves helpful and encouraging comments on assignments. The class is so easy and is good for an easy A. She really cares for everyone
I took Professor Toney for CCS 100 and let me tell you she is the best! She gives you your grade ack either the day of or the next day. Very fast! Her assignments are so easy and self-explanatory. This class should e really easy in general as it is only two credits and required for the AA degree. Easy, easy 4.0. Sign up for her class it fills fast!
She is the reason I believe there are still good teachers out there. Her class was fun and she graded everything by the next day so you don't have to worry if you did well or not. I love this class and the professor so much.
