Young,Intelligent,Down to Earth,Un-Bias.Tough instructor-But VERY FAIR.Funny as Heck!gives everyone chances to improve their grade;EXtra-Credit,Essay Paper and Tutoring.Makes office time& will answer E-mail with ? you might have when your at home.Advice:After lecture open the book & FILL-IN GAPS IN THE NOTES!You will grasp concepts so much more!
PowerPoint teacher, she relies heavly on her notes but the tests come right out of the notes and essays aren't that bad. However, she really piles on the work and i mean allot of work which is hard to grasp but its a and p so ya know but i definatly would steer away from her, very nice though
I struggled to get my A in this class. she uses power point and goes really fast. I totally recommend printing off the power point notes. The tests are right off of them.

Awesome teacher. Very funny. She gives a lot of info and you're expected to know it but everything comes straight from the power points so it's as easy as A&P can get. Highly recommended.
Very funny, young, nice, and down to earth. She takes the tests from the powerpoint instead of the book which is a relief to me. I would recommend her.
she is funny and very interesting in class. but the professor is very hard. test every other week 35 multiple choice 5 definitions 15 essay questions and hour and 15 to take the test. she does power pt so that helps, and her test are from the power pt. i studied really hard and couldnt get better than a c+ on the test. she is very willingly to hel
Meghan was a very tough teacher. She went very fast and I struggled to keep up. She crammed a lot of information in on each test and the tests were extremely detailed. I really had a terrible time in that class.
Good teacher, can be difficult tests but if you listen to what she teaches and study what she says you can do really well in this class. She is a good teacher and good students will do well, not so good students will not do well.
AWFFULLL TEACHER!!!!!! worst semester of my life, i would never take a class that she is teaching ever again!
Everyone rushes to fill Durham's classes and the dodge Meghan. She's an GREAT professor! She helped me alot this summer as I was loaded with credit hours! She responds to any emails within an hour! It's ridiculous. You want to know your information and be ahead of the game for A&P? Take her. Tests are hard, but she inspires you! Thanks Meghan!!
i took body structure and function on the internet. it felt like a full blown anatomy class! she is not clear what she wants in her tests. she makes it a lot harder than it should be, and gives no encouragement to her students. i was very disappointed.
worst teacher ever. just one of those teachers that lectures in class w/o being very clear bcuz she expects you to know the stuff before u enter class, like reading the chpts ahead of time which is impossible with such a hard/fast-going class. i got a D in her class and took it again with durham and got an A. It wasnt me, she was just a bad teacher
bad teacher. infact, not a teacher at all, just goes over her powerpoints and expects you to learn on ur own by studying from the book. teachers are not teachers if they dont TEACH u the material.
I took AP1 with her a about a year ago, She was nice and helpful. Must be n top of your game and read the texted book. If you are there everyday and ask questions she will help. Typing the notes after I was in class helped. Attendance is not taken however you need to be there to understand
This is the worst class ever. i am taking this class on line. i have been working in the medical field for 6 years. i was taking this class as a refresher before i went into to A&P which i have had before 8 years ago. she is not helpful at all and takes a while to repond to e-mails and questions. asking for a phone call to go over concerns will not
Terrible...she rushes, isn't clear, requires tons of reading...I hated this class so much, we had a full class the first two weeks, and within 5 weeks...we were down to 8 kids who didn't withdrawal.
Currently taking class on-line. Not too much busy work, but you do have to study! Tests are difficult. Questions are not clear, only have 75 minutes to complete. Count for the majority of your overall grade. Quizzes are easy. So far I have a B+, but I struggled to earn that. I?ll pass but, I wouldn?t take her class again.
if u like cramed rushed and sthings that make no sence then sure shes ur lady, but if u dont wanna spend u time sittingin class and not understanding what shes even saying then dont take her! my class was miserable!!!
I'm a smart person. I went to every class, every lab, studied at least 5 hours a week and I still didn't pass. I've NEVER not excelled at something at which I try. The class started out with about 80 people and is ending with 25. I know of 1 person that is getting an A and she studies 40 hours a week. Nice, smart, pretty funny, but hard as hell.
Teacher basically reads powerpoints in class. She does NOT review for tests-or give study guides- some test questions arent clear. Very hard grader. She does NOT post correct class averages so a student can see if she is getting the point across to class. Doesnt give hardly any extra credit.
She really is a nice prof. She is personable and funny. As the class is concerned, it can be very fast paced. She goes pretty fast and the tests are pretty hard. She is always willing to help if you don't understand things Overall, to pass the class, you really have to pay attention and know the stuff. Not recommended for first time students
I took this class twice and failed both times...same teacher!! horrible!!! she does open her door for office time and you can email whenever but it is way too hard and she goes really fast...dont recommend for first couple years
I took this first semester of college and it ruined my GPA...im in my second semester and took it agian...still failed...it is soooooooooooooo hard but she does have good office hours and emails you as soon as she can. she is really fast and you cant understand half the crap she talks about... super hard...DO NOT RECOMMEND for first couple years
She was definitely a very tough teacher, but was very approachable and tried to make learning fun(:
worst instructor I have ever dealt with. Is not clear on what she wants on the test, only uses power points. Not willing to give extra credit. If you want to pass this class avoid her, she is not here to help you, just to shoot you down, very harsh when you are wtong in an answer, real witch
Does not provide any sort of direction for what will be on the test or even what information will be relevant in the future. Gives too much infomation during class sessions. The class is exhaustingly vague as well as the test. The whole experience was useless. The info cannot even be used in another class because it is so vague:(
worst class ever. i took her first semester in college and dropped bc no matter what i couldnt pass her tests! i took a different teacher 2nd semester and got an A. failed her for AP2. her tests are ridiculously hard and she gives no indication of whats gonna be on it. i found her to be irritable and not helpful. huge mistake taking her class. HUGE
Not a good teacher. Very unclear. Some of her test material doesn't come from the notes. Not a very easy teaching style and her tests are more in depth than she acts like they are. Lots of short answer on tests and they have to be very specific.
This class requires complete dedication and a lot of motivation. In order to succeed it's necessary to study several hours each week. She goes through the slides really fast, so it's hard to keep up. She is an extremely hard grader, in my opinion. I would recommend taking this class alone.
I will preface this by saying no one should ever expect Anatomy and Physiology to be a walk through the park. Dr. Andrikanich doesn't make it much easier, but she only tests on material she covers in class (through PowerPoint). She will help as much as possible through office hours or e-mail. Expect to work and study hard and you'll succeed.
I studied for hours and hours for her tests and could barely pass them. She says at the beginning of the semester that if it isn't in lectures, it won't be on the test. NOT true. Don't take her if you want to keep your GPA.
Megan challenges you academically so be willing to put in the study time,30hr/wk. The best advise I can give you is to BRING A RECORDER, all of the information you will need to know is ONLY what she discusses in class, and it's a lot (she doesn't stop to take a breath). If you can memorize EVERYTHING she talks about, then you'll get an easy A+++
I took her class online and thought she was extremely helpful! The tests were difficult, but it college they are suppose to be. The notes were very thorough and the learning activities helped so much! Do the work and the class isn't bad at all.
For A&P- You will have to WORK LIKE MAD to pass her class. She lectures directly off of power points she made, and while it sounds straightforward- not all the info is there, and what exactly she wants on test questions can be confusing. A&P is a tough class regardless- pick your instructor CAREFULLY.
Expects a student to memorize multiple chapters to take tests
I read and read over and over and had a terrible time with the tests. When I asked for help, I was told that there was no study guide because everything in the lecture is important and that memorizing things word for word would not help. I almost didn't want to return to finish my final year because I felt so defeated.
I had a hard time staying awake in her classes. She just rambles on and her tests are hard.
I had her for lab. She wasn't helpful in my opinion at all. Didn't show much of an interest in giving students help or more details about anything. She was a very boring instructor and read right from the lab book without further explanation. She made the class extremely hard for many students.
Very confusing and not helpful. You have to do so much work on your own and it never gets reviewed. Do not take her for lab.
Tests are nearly impossible to pass no matter how much you study. Will not even give you the slightest clue as to what will be on the tests either. Wouldn't recommend her if you can't memorize every detail in her lectures.
One of the worst teachers ever. Would never recommend her. Her test are impossible and no matter how much you study you feel defeated. She says what she lectures on will be on the tests. Not true. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!
DO NOT TAKE HER. Test are very hard no matter how much you study. She does not stick to the material she went over when giving tests, even though she says she will.
She is horrible at lecturing. She has a poor attitude towards students. Is not flexible or willing to work with you nicely. She is rude and obnoxious. If you are trying to study for her quizzes you are not sure what to study for. She does not communicate with any online emails or web discussion posts. I can go on but I think you get the picture.
I have prior medical experience that is quite extensive and still found her tests in lecture to be impossible. While I received an A in my labs I could not pass her class due to her not covering material that was actually on the test. Change your teacher if you have her!
Took this class to prepare for BIO 121. This professor did not explain what was expected as far as the homework and online assignments. The test were hard and at times did not cover any of the readings. Would not recommend her.
BAD. She does not provide study guides and expects everyone to know every single little detail of the material. Her PPT slides provide terms with no definitions. I have to do research on my own to figure out what she's teaching. All of her exams are 90% short answer and the questions are ridiculously long. Expects way too much out of her students.
Its a tough class with any teacher. Her powerpoints are very simple but as long as you take notes on what she is saying you're fine. The material on her exams are never anything that wasn't taught in class. The only thing that was tough on the exams is she would have application Q's that weren't specifically talked about in class.
she doesn't like to be second guessed or asked any questions. she was no help what so ever .
You can study every day for an hour or more, do extra research on the side, and still not pass her class. Her tests are near impossible. Long questionnaire style questions that I can imagine only doctors would know the answer to and I think even doctors would have a hard time answering correctly. We started with 20 plus people and ended with 3...
Do not take her!!!!!!!! I am an A+ student and I couldn't even pass her class. Our lecture class started with about 40 people and when I dropped there was less than 15 people left. For the one test I printed 120 pages of a power point and that didn't include the info she talked about. D not take her! I am in Kathy Durham's class now and Love it
Terrible at connecting with the students she teaches. Her PowerPoints are too basic compared to what is on the exams. She acts as though you need to learn the material at a doctoral type level. If you do not know every detail BEWARE: YOU WILL FAIL. I have stuck this whole class out even though I'm failing and there was at least 40 now down to 8.
This is an online class i am taking, her tests are really hard if you don't read the book 30 hours a week you wont pass. I emailed her to ask her a question about a case study she gave, and she never responded back after 3 days, but emailed me to tell me about the questions that i missed. i would not suggest this class if she is teaching it
Was taking this class online for summer, had to drop. Tests are extremely difficult, and would not respond when needed for help. These past reviews are dead accurate. Do what you can to avoid this professor, you will spend more time on this class than all your other combined and still not pass, or just barely pass. Science program good but not her.
Terrible!! The only help I had in this class was my textbook. I'm not sure why I even had to pay for an instructor. Very very little of the review material she wrote was ever on the test. No matter how much effort you put into assignments, she WILL find a problem. Her diagrams were so sloppy I couldn't even use half of them to study.
I believe that she knows what she is talking about but I WILL NEVER TAKE HER AGAIN. Seriously. If you do it is super hard tests about inferring and making analysis's on things we never really discussed in class. Be prepared to be SUPER specific or things will be marked wrong.
Attendance is not mandatory but HIGHLY recommended. She lectures from PPT slides, and only tests on what is covered in class. However, my class started with 40 people and is down to 14 and no one has higher than a B, in fact only one person has a B, the rest are Cs and lower. She is helpful, if you ask for help.
Dr. A was a teacher who no matter what issue you were having she blamed your note taking and the fact that you wouldn't come to 'office hours'. She is very picky in how she wants her questions answered. She will teach you at a low level and then test you on a way higher level. If you cant put all of your time in, don't take her.
She is a very tough teacher. If you take her class be prepared to study A LOT!! She really challenges you academically on knowing the information. That being said, if your not ready to put in the time and effort, do not bother to take her class. Her tests are extremely difficult and tough.
Dr. A is a very hard teacher. I have been out of school for a very long time and she was a rude awakening on my return to school life. After I took her class my study skills achieved a whole new level I didn't know was possible,The commitment you need to survive this course is what you are going to need for any medical or biological courses.
She talk to fast to understand, put stuff on the test that she told you was not important. Strict grader
She teaches her lectures at a fast pace. Once a student sitting next to me asked her to go back to a previous slide and she would not. She insisted that she had no time to go back and that the student needed to write faster. Rude. Also tests go in depth on info that was barely covered in lecture. Would never take her again!!
She is a nice and funny person, but is all over the place with her lectures. She can be confusing. She expects you to study 10-15 hours a week just for her class, which is unrealistic espically when you work and have other classes. She tests over material she talks about in class from the powerpoints. Overall I would never take her class again!
One of the worst professors I've ever had. She lectures with her basic ppts, and then tests you at a higher level. She expects you to study just for her class 10-15 hours a week. Her tests are ridiculous. Get ready to read the entire book. Her labs are even worse. Would never take her again!
I had Meghan for A&P1 Lab and she was an awful professor!! Each week she has to cross things off that you "won't have to know" and then talks about them in lecture. When you ask if you have to know it for the quiz she snaps at you. The pre-labs that have to be done in no way shape or form help you understand the material any better and are a waste.
Dont recommend taking her course she makes everything harder than it already is Her teaching methods are ineffective the 4 of us left that havent failed out all have the same issues regarding her ability to instruct, former students I've encountered share the same views. Don't make the same mistake we did don't take her class you will regret it
Hardest class that I have ever taken. She teaches based off the power points but her tests are very hard. For being A&P1 it felt like I was in A&P2. Do not recommend taking her if you know you are going to struggle.
Took this online course and BY FAR the HARDEST CLASS EVER!! So much reading it never ends. You have to read the book and also the power point which is just pages and pages each chapter with no teacher input. TOUGH Grader she never specifies whats going to be on the test except be prepared for about 15-20 m/c rest fill ins horrible!!!!
This class started off OK, then the test! She choose a browser that's not compatible with mac's. My laptop was checked and I was told my laptop was to up to date then campus computers. So I had to run around and take the test(s) any where I could dnload browser. Which really sucked because I went far as east side of Cleveland, I could go on....
Mean, angry, toughest test ever.
Says everything we need to know, we go over in class but then we get the test and it's nothing we went over !!!
RUN! For your GPA and academic record's sake. Take any other instructor for the same course, and save yourself! Demeaning towards students. She is extremely unrealistic in her expectations. Impossible tests- 80% essay questions, and 20% multiple choice. At the end of the semester, about 10% of the students remain, and half of those are failing.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL. Where do I start? the tests are beyond hard they are a NIGHTMARE! The lectures which are just typed out she doesn't talk or explain anything but all you do is READ and no matter how much you study GOOD LUCK getting a decent grade. BY far WORST Professor EVER. I took someone else and got an A
Took Dr. A for A&P 1. By far the hardest class I have ever taken. She tests based solely off of her lectures. My notes are fantastic. However I have NINETY pages of notes for the material that will be covered on just ONE test. She gives no ideas on what to focus on. Very nice, but I'm not into torture so I would not take her again.
DO. NOT. TAKE. This was my second time taking anatomy, so I was expecting to know the information- I was wrong. This class was harder than the first anatomy class I took, and I ended up getting a D meaning I need to retake this class for a third time. This class is setting you up for failure, at least with this professor.
The reviews I read about Dr. A don't describe the professor I had. She's funny, knows her stuff and she's willing to help if you're stuck on something. Labs were enjoyable and she plays music during lab, so that helps. Be prepared to put in some study time because quizzes are all memorization. I would take her class again.
She knows her stuff but tests are very difficult to say the least not sure what f I will pass yet!
She is great!! Really cares about students & wants them to succeed. Very available for help. Make sure you're in class bc the powerpoints don't help very much unless you heard the lecture. Make sure you study a lot bc the tests are hard! Read the bk & watch YouTube videos to help you study. Know the material inside & out
I took this Professor for an online 8 week (vs 16 wk) course and was surprised how attentive and helpful she was. She was reachable and willing to answer any questions you may have. she gave constructive criticism on nearly every assignment. I would take another class with her again if given the opportunity.
Attendance is not mandatory for her. But if you want to pass the class you need to show up. A lot of what she says comes from her lectures. Record and rewrite your notes! She is a very caring teacher who wants you to understand the material. I was scared to take this class because of the reviews. But if you want to pass, you put the time in!
The worst bio teacher I have ever had. Sets you up for failure. Studied for 6 hours for an exam, went to tutor center, met with her during office hours. Gave me a C on the exam and told me to try harder. I doubt if anyone finished with a good grade.
Class is made up of a whole lot of homeworks that equal to a tiny part of your grade and the Exams make up most of your grade as well as the Lab. She is very willing to help and answer questions. Her class is very hard even with the help of tutors, office hours, and study time. Best thing is to take a different professor or settle for a C or less
The absolute worst professor I have ever had. You can spend forever studying and still fail the exams. And your grade is only exams, there are no extra points she gives out. I am going to end this class with a D.
She was TERRIBLE. You study for hours and still manage to some how fail her exams. The homework is hard and a lot and barely does anything for your grade. I highly recommend not having her!!
I took her for Genetics (before I dropped the class). Her class was way more difficult than it needed to be; I always felt like her lectures didn't cover the material on the tests. She didn't explain things clearly, and was really disorganized. Overall I would NOT recommend taking this teacher.
I would study for hours upon hours, and I would still not do well on her exams. I would ask for help and copy down notes. I would write exactly what was on the board when it came to tests, and I still did not pass.
Dr. A is an amazing teacher. Shes very passionate about her job. However, it is a very hard class and the tests are so hard.
She accuses students of cheating. She takes points off for things that make zero sense and when you ask her questions she doesnt elaborate. Not a good teacher, and would not recommend
She wants u to give specific answers without telling u what answers shes looking for on assignments Her tests are ridiculous she gives u 20 multiple choice questions, the rest is short answer questions with no time to think about the questions ur expected to answer and she puts stuff on the test that she hasnt given u the learning material yet
Expects u to already know everything, isnt clear on what she expects on assignments, tests are ridiculous u get 20 multiple choice and the rest is short answer but u arent given enough time to answer them and explain them all. Shes just awful and I would not recommend taking any of her classes.
If you don't mind going to class, going home and doing extra research, and studying for 20+ hours a week, Dr. Andrikanich is for you. She is actually a nice person outside of class, but has borderline ridiculous standards. Her exams are fast paced. You do learn a lot of useful information in her class. She is not the worst prof I have had.
Dr A is an excellent instructor. She is always telling you to ask questions. The Issues I had were that the lectures were very vague . With vague lectures, I was unsure of what material to study for test with exam consisting of 3 different, long chapters. The accusations of using online material gets annoying bc I only used the book as referenc
Very hard to understand her teaching and what to study. I wish she would focus more on helping some succeed instead of someone cheating on the exams.
She is very kind and encourages people to ask for help, the problem is that the class is a lot of learning on your own and she will review what she sees fit. Then for homework, she asks vague questions and expects specific answers, which is entirely ok in my opinion IF WE COVERED IT IN CLASS.
Dr. A is a caring teacher and wants you to ask questions. You will stay very busy in class and homework is tough, she is a STRICT grader on tests and homework. She will never review for exams and DOES NOT take constructive criticism well. Be prepared for at least 20 hours a week of studying if you want to pass...
Doesn't grade extra credit till last minute and does not review study guide and not clear with feedback. Tests were almost three short answer with definitions, matching, multiple two pages.
Dr A is nice, but she is a very hard teacher. She talks/teaches to you like you are doctors and it's very confusing and just doesn't make any sense. She doesn't break anything down in simpler terms. Her test are very hard and almost impossible to pass. I needed 1% to pass the class and she refused to give me any extra credit or round my grade.
She is a very hard teacher. Her teaching is not bad but preparing for tests was horrible. Tests are the main part of the grade and there is no preparing in class for it. When me and others went to take the tests we were very lost. I had to drop the class. Also over half the students that had dropped the class as well before me.
Worse professor not just on this campus but any college campus. If y
Dr. A is a very strict grader. The lectures are unclear and short. She gives a lot of homework, and you are always busy in her class. There is little to no preparation for exams. Overall, her class is unclear, and you basically teach yourself the material.
Struggled in this class a lot.
Dr. A is unfortunately one of the worst professors I have ever had. Extremely test and quiz heavy. I feel as if she did not want us to succeed rather than just wanted to get the semester over with. She is very knowledgeable but will speak to you as if you're already a doctor and should already understand. This class is very difficult to pass.
She was a very nice professor, but I would NEVER take her class again. Her class is very test-heavy, and she expects you to know all the information about a new lesson immediately. Lectures were short, and she expected you and your peers to teach each other, which is not helpful, especially when they do not understand the material themselves.
Professor Andrikanich is a challenging but caring teacher. While the class is demanding, attending lectures and using resources like the textbook and unstuck study can help you succeed. Tests are the main focus, so be prepared to dedicate significant time to studying.
Dr. A is a nice person, but I did not like having her as a professor. During lectures, she would explain things as if we were doctors and never simplified anything. She graded very strictly and the questions on the exams were extremely hard. The class averages for tests were always 50-60%. Half the people in my class withdrew by middle of semester.
Good grief. Dr. A is such a harsh grader. And every exam we've taken has had some sort of problem such as incorrect answers, missing pages, incorrect math on her part. Etc. Not to mention the horrendous smart book assignments that take HOURS to complete. do not take this class!! We don't stand a chance.
Just drop and get a new professor
This class is extremely difficult, you have canvas, visible body, McGrawhill connects and LT assignments and not to mention the 3-5 modules you have to read and take test on and at the same time start your other module for the next worksheetstuff for anatomy quiz prep. If you take this class please take it alone quit everything you job kids ect....
Worst professor I have ever had. Exams are incredibly difficult and make up most of your grade for her class. You basically have to dedicate your life to this course. She knows her stuff but does not execute it well in her teaching style. Had to withdraw to save my GPA, avoid at all cause. If you do have her, make sure she's your only class.
She was knowledgeable but did not teach the content well. "Lectures" were never the same each class. Unclear of what was necessary to know for exams and there was no review either. Homework was very time consuming and extremely difficult to complete. Short notice for exams left little time for studying on top of the other assignments.
There is a lot of reading, white board work in class, no lecture lots of lab time. She doesn't give very much time to go over stuff. Taking test and quizzes almost every other week. Very tough teacher. I would not recommend her to anyone!!
EASILY THE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER TAKEN A CLASS WITH. SHE DOES NOT GIVE ENOUGH TIME TO REVIEW FOR EXAMS, LET ALONE WHAT TO FOCUS ON IN EACH MODULE. HER TESTS EXCEPT THE FINAL WERE ALL SHORT ANSWER. IT SHOULD NOT COME DIRECTLY FROM THE TEXTBOOK. A FEW STUDENTS DROPPED WHICH I SHOULD HAVE DONE! I WILL AVOID SIGNING UP FOR CLASSES WITH HER.
Good Luck!!
