Test pretty straight forward. Quizzes easy too. Group literature review paper 8-10 pgs. Pretty good at lecturing, Involves the class. Clearly cares about the subject & enjoys being the professor. Not too bad. Would take for Research methods. You earn whatever grade you get.

One of the best professors Ive ever had. Not only is this professor an amazing person but she teaches soooo well. If you take her and put in effort its hard to fail. She teaches in a way everyone understands and makes material comprehensible. Shell answer all your questions and wants you to do well. If shes a choice you have to take her!

Dr. Bankhead is very fair and understanding with her students. If a significant portion of the class misses a test item, that item will be scrapped. It's clear that she wants to see her students learn and succeed above all else. Lectures are very interactive and expand well on knowledge gained from the text.

Dr. Bankhead is a fantastic teacher. She gave me fantastic feedback throughout the semester that helped me get a great grade on my literature review. She is also readily available by email. I would definitely take her again.

I took Prof. Bankhead for PSYC1101 Online. The work load isn't bad as long as you plan it out throughout the week. You have weekly LaunchPad assignments to complete, Quizzes in D2L over the chapters every few weeks, and there are three tests. Study study study for the tests! She does offer extra credit a few times. 10/10 recommend taking her!

It was my first time taking an online class, and I was extremely nervous but Dr. Bankhead made it so simple. She responded to emails very quickly and was very helpful when I did not understand something. She gave extra credit a few times! I would take her again if I could.

Meh. It was an okay class I guess. I don't necessarily recommend it but it's not awful. The quizzes are tedious but not too bad. But the professor herself is very nice from what I've encountered so far.

She is a caring professor who is very "by the book." Not exactly a good fit for me, but she knows her stuff and wants her students to succeed.

The class isn't too hard, you just have to be organized and understand the content. There are 4 exams, a research assignment where you just complete a survey, quizzes every week, and online assignments every week. The online assignments look like a lot but are not hard if you review content. Complete the chapter overviews she gives!

Dr. Bankhead became our permanent professor during the middle of the semester. Never emailed her but she still posted lots of announcements to keep us updated with weekly assignments. Wanted us to do well on our quizzes. Posted good study tips. Changed one of my quizzes because I fat fingered. CrashCourse served as lecture. Great professor!

She is really reasonable. As long as you do the work and pay attention in class she will go over almost everything for the work she gives. She also actually responds to emails.

Quizzes are 60% of your grade there were 3 quizzes due every week along with homework. Lockdown browser and respondus were used for quizzes. She gives one chance to turn in something late or make up an overdue assignment. She offers office hours to answer questions. A good class to take in the summertime. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Bankhead truly cares about her students. She is very kind and takes office hours to help. It was hard material, but she made it interesting. Come to class and ask questions and you will be great! Would definitely take her again.

Attendance isn't mandatory, but it's super helpful. Can be difficult, but she is always available to work on anything and help with assignments. Weekly inquizative and weekly quiz, with 4 assignments and 3 exams. I would definitely take her again.

absolutely incredible teacher for online. everything was clearly outlined. she sends several reminders and clearly cares for her students. you could use notes on exams and quizzes were open note as well. she had 2 extra credit opportunities. she made this class a breeze. could not have higher praise for her.

I had a lot of fun in Ms. Bankhead's class! It was the only class I took notes for, which I would definitely say is a necessity for this class. It was a good bit of work, but a very good place to start.

Dr. Bankhead is an amazing professor. My only complaint is the occasional exam with a camera and lockdown browser. It is open note and she gives clear outlines of the information you should know before the test. Even with the exams being on lockdown browser and proctored, they are not too difficult as long as you take good notes.

Professor Bankhead offers an engaging psychology course. Every week there are readings (30-40 pages), online assignments, lectures, and a quiz. She gives reading guides for the textbook that can be used on tests. She blocks out an entire week to do tests and there are discussion posts during test week. The only downside is she is hard to reach.

Wants you to pass. Lots of flexibility built into course deadlines/schedule, understands life happens. Inquizitive is ANNOYING but she gives clear instructions for her other assignments.

Take Professor Bankhead!! She is very well-spoken and good at explaining concepts in class. Attendance is not mandatory, but she does random in-class assignments that are for a grade. She offers a lot of help, but one thing is that she does not reveal the answers after you take a quiz or exam unless you ask her. Also, she has you write a paper :(

She is very personable and approachable, knows her stuff. Attendance isn't necessarily required, but there are random participation activities that count for grades, so be sure to show up. She let you know exactly what will be on the tests and they are open note. Just prep well and you'll be fine.

Dr.Bankhead made Psychology interesting,she explained the things it started to make sense and gave real life examples .Another thing is that she will use the Achieve textbook really straight forward just read and answer the questions and take notes and tests are multiple choice no essays,but there are quizziz,and also she offers bankhead bucks.

At first, I regretted taking this course, but over time, it turned out to be easier than I thought. Dr. Bankhead is I would say the best choice for PSYC 1101. She makes this class interesting and not boring and difficult like the other PSYC professors like to make it. Tests are lockdown and proctored, but you are allowed to use your notes.

If you are truly interested in psychology and not just in getting a degree, take Dr. Bankhead. Her class helped me to understand psychology as a whole. If you put in the work, and follow her very clear guidelines, an A is achievable. Great professor and gives extra credit. You will actually LEARN.. which I feel is becoming rare.

What I liked about this class is that the final paper was done gradually over the semester; it's not something you do independently. Dr. Bankhead provided detailed feedback on each writing assignment. She frequently gave us extensions. There were study guides that told us exactly what would be on the test. She also responded quickly to emails.

I've had Dr. Bankhead for multiple classes and was shocked to see her rating drop like it did. First off I have NEVER seen so many ratings in a single week (shockingly finals week). This is obviously some upset person and decided to retaliate. She is amazing.Take some accountability because it wasn't Dr. Bankhead's fault. Would highly recommend!!

This professor is one of the best I've had. The class is tough, but it prepares you for future challenges. People who complain about it just expect an easy A without actually learning anything. She cares about her students and wants them to succeed. If you're serious about learning, take this class. If you just want an easy A, take someone else.

This isn't an easy class but I don't feel like it is Dr. Bankhead's fault. She's always willing to help and give feedback if I didn't do as well on a paper or exam so I can make corrections for next time. This isn't an easy A type of class. It is very attainable to get a good grade but have to put in the work for it like a lot of other classes

Her class was awesome. She was engaging and could explain topics well. Her lectures covered exactly what were going to be on her tests. She gave topic outlines that could be used for easy organization, and that helped a lot since her tests were online and open note w/ lockdown. Her reviews had questions that were on the test. Easy final. Take her!

Dr. Bankhead's class is challenging, but if you put in the work and use study tools like unstuckstudy, you can succeed. The exams are tough, but she allows revisions and provides helpful review sessions. Overall, a rewarding experience for psych enthusiasts.

Absolutely loved Professor Bankhead! She allows you to use notes on test even though it's lockdown browser. She drops your lowest quiz grade and discussion grade. Definitely recommends taking her! Easy A+

Great lecturer! This class is not an easy A, but it is certainly manageable. There is a homework assignment + quiz due every week; occasional mini assignments and unit tests every few weeks. I really enjoy her teaching style, and she gives plenty of feedback/revision opportunities.
