She is an excellent professor! She is really passionare about the subject and makes it so interesting and exciting! You learn a lot. I absoultely love her and any psych class she teaches is sure to be great! Look her up under Mehgen Delaney and you'll see how great she is.

Teacher is fun. Has a great sense of humor and made human sexuality exciting. Tests are easy. All the questions are from the practice quizzes. Do well on the essay and you'll get an A.

I didn't think Cog Psych would be interesting, but the way she explains everything makes the subject fascinating. She's hard and you have to earn your grade, but that's why you learn so much from taking her.

She explains everything, answers all questions you may have, and the answers for her tests are mostly in the study guides that she posts online. Participation is mandatory though. I took Ms. Andrade's class during the Winter Intersession. Considering it was only a 5 week course, she made sure that the time restraint won't compromise the quality of her lectures or the class itself. It such a good experience to be in her class. She makes it interesting and fun for the students. Her teaching technique is VERY effective.

Taking Ms. Andrade's class was such a pleasure. I always looked forward to class lectures. She has this way of teaching that helps student retain very important concepts about the topic being discussed. She makes sure that new concepts introduced in class is crystal clear. It's not hard hard to get an A+ in her class. She's so AWESOME!

I don't think I would like cog psych if I hadn't had her! I didn't even know what cog psych was, but her lecture fascinated me into the field! If you take her online class make sure you keep up with due dates. I missed one test and I got dropped to a C. She's nice though, and I know I could have easily gotten an A if I had studied. Use the study guides and practice quizzes!

I enjoyed this class. I took her summer class and there were 4 tests total. There is no homework but it is recommended to read the textbook since some of the test material aren't covered during the lectures. attendance is important since she gives in-class activities that are worth points. You can't make them up for the points if you're absent.

Prof Andrade lacks an online presence. Her only interactions were via email. She does not provide any personal insight with grading. The tests can be tough with tricky language. This class would most likely be more interesting in person. If you prefer doing everything on your own and teaching yourself, this is the perfect class. Strict deadlines!

Professor Andrade is a very engaging and energetic instructor, that totally enjoys Cognitve Psych. A humorous energetic personality that makes the sometimes confusing concepts easier to understand. Being a Science major, Phineas Gage photograph and related effects on him were what lasts in my thoughts of 126! Tough grader.

GREAT teacher! She really cares about psychology and her students. Take advantage of her office hours. I easily have two favorite professors at College of the Canyons, Andrade is number one! She made driving out to the Canyon Country Campus worth it. Second time taking Andrade and she's AMAZING to say the least. Offers no extra credit so do the work! Class is definitely doable if you put effort in. I'd recommend this course to dedicated students.

Very straightforward class. Get ready to crack open the textbook. Tests are very specific, covering 4 chapters and 25 questions per. Quizzes can be retaken (same questions second time around). Professor Andrades Psych 101 class is my first class in CC, and boy, she sure is setting the bar high for my future professors! She is really nice and tells you on Day 1 what the semester will be, the tests are kinda hard but she offers up to 40 points extra credit to help, just pay attention in class, do the class work, study, and u will do good!

I learned a lot from her online developmental psychology class! This class is one that you definitely stay on top of. Exams are proctored so you have to study to pass. Discussions are long but do-able if you want to learn!

Use quizlet!! All homework is online and can take a while, but lots of quizlets. Exams are proctored so there is no way of cheating. A bit of homework but the exams arent weighted super heavy, so getting an A on all homework (w help of quizlet) will help your grade. only 4 discussion boards and graded easy, but worth more than exams.

Prof. Andrade is super amazing. I had some hiccups in the beginning of the semester due to personal reasons and she was very kind and caring about that. She is responsive and her announcements are always entertaining! I hope I'm able to take a class of hers again.

I liked this class. I took it as a crash course over the fall semester and found it easy. It was online and all I had to do was keep up with readings. There is a clear set of grading criteria and she even drops the lowest exam score.

I took Professor Andrade for Psych 101 Spring 2022. The teacher is funny and kind. Prepare to read a lot, as with a 16 chapter textbook. I spent a long time reading this semester. There are 7 discussion boards (50 points each), 16 chapter quizzes (10 points each), and 4 remotely proctored exams(each 100 points and the lowest of which is dropped).

TBH this class is easy if you follow directions. Andrade is really clear about how to succeed in class (i.e. tests have study guides; papers have clear criteria). As long as you pay attention in lecture, take notes, and keep up with deadlines, you'll be fine. She's a VERY entertaining lecturer and she cares for student success and mental health.

Overall Professor Andrade is an amazing teacher! I really enjoyed this class and you can tell she really cares for her students. As long as you really go over the study guide she provides and the practice quizzes on canvas the exams should be no problem. Highly recommend taking her class!

I took Psych 101 during the summer so it was a fast pace course, she provides a free textbook. There was 4 discussion posts, 4 chapter quizzes due each week. There was a total of 4 exams. All exams are proctored and it was not open book. Also used turnit in to check discussion posts. Not a hard class but you definitely need to study to get an A.

Andrade's class is fast-paced but engaging. Prepare to memorize and stay on top of the material. unstuckstudy was a game-changer for study prep alongside the textbook. Overall, a challenging but worthwhile course.

She was incredibly understanding and is really nice. It's a shame that she is based in Canyon Country, so it was hard to see her. She saved my B in her class, because missing 2 assignments is the equivalent of missing an exam. If I had gotten those accepted, I would have an A in her class. But the assignments are not hard though. You cannot be late

I had professor Andrade for psych 172 for an online class and it was definitely tough. The study guide doesn't really match with the actual questions on the tests and you have to heavily study the lectures, textbook, etc. to even get a decent score on the exams. She is a very easy grader though which was nice for assignments with lots of points! :)

Assignments are easy, follow the grading sheet for an A. Quizzes are not timed and 3 attempts. Tests are hard and the study guide does not match the questions. Must read and study the book. Tests are all proctored. Homework is worth a lot if you follow directions you will pass with an A. For tests just guess, I failed tests and still passed overall

I loved Andrade's in person Psych 101 Honors class, it was by far my favorite class. I really reccomend it even if you are just slightly interested in psych. The course itself consists of lectures several in class assignments and homeworks. Many opportunities for extra credit and 4 exams. Andrade's lectures are insightful and fun!

Most engaging lectures ever. I appreciate that she took the time to get to know each student. You could tell she wanted her students to succeed. I had a hybrid class with her, so she let us use a sheet of notes for the 4 exams. A few in-class activities that were so easy and helpful for the exams. Study guides were extremely useful.

I took the winter session for this course and it was great! She's very personable and interacts with everyone in the classroom. The tests weren't hard but some of the material that wasn't in the study guide was on the test so make sure to read over slides. Overall a great teacher who has a great personality and makes class fun!

She somehow made an 8 am class excited to attend. It was my favorite class of the semester. Professor Andrade is an amazing professor and made me incredibly engaged in the content. She's clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about what she discusses. She grades fairly and offers good feedback as well. I hope to have her as a professor again.

I took her Psych172H class over the winter, and I can honestly say Professor Andrade is my favorite professor I've ever had at COC. Not only does she make class engaging due to her funny personality, but she is a great teacher. It is obvious she cares about her students and her teaching. Go to class, study, and you're guaranteed an A.

Good prof, sets you up to do good in her class. Only rec is to make sure you do the reading, most of the material from tests is in there so its worth going over with the study guide. Lectures are good as well, lots of discussion.

I took this class during the summer of 2025 for extra HS credits and it wasn't bad. There are a lot of reading involved, you have to read the textbook in order to pass the class. Discussions are worth more than tests, rules are strict and I mean STRICT strict. But its not hard to get an A. She's a little scary with emails but i wouldn't worry tm.

Easy A, it was a 4 week summer course, One Discussion Post, One Module Assignment, 4 quizzes - 2 attempts each, one test - 50 MCQ - 90 mins to complete each week. Work is a decent amount but it was not hard and she was extremely accessible out of class. One paper that was extremely easy as well. I recommend to take her, I learned a lot as well.

Do not let the difficulty rating fool you; I took her course online while traveling. If you do your assignments on time you should have no issues. On the other hand, careful preparation for exams is a must. She does include a useful study guide before each exam, however, not all questions you will encounter are in the study guide.

Her online summer course was pretty easy. Not many assignments, and allows you to drop the lowest test score. Psych is easy it's just memorization so memorize the study guide and guaranteed an A. Her study guides match pretty well with the tests and are efficient enough for an A on a test.

Pretty easy, a lot of reading but assignments were easy and common sense.

Genuinely the best professor I've ever had so far in college. Her lectures are very interesting and entertaining. We were very well-prepared for the exams and quizzes and it wasn't difficult for me to get good grades. She's also very nice, caring, understanding and accomodating. Sometimes she would bring us treats. I was sad when the class ended.

She was such a nice professor! She uses Honor lock for all her exams but it was very easy!

Professor Andrade is one of the best professors I had the pleasure of knowing. She made her lectures engaging and fun, and her tests (all multiple choice) were based off her lectures. She's so easily accommodating to every student, loves to crack a few jokes, and really cares for all her students. She's amazing!

Professor Andrade's lectures in class were very informative and engaging. Her grading procedure were clear and direct. I would take her class again in a heartbeat.

Prof. Andrade is super funny and had a great time in her class. Some of the lessons are kinda complicated so if you're dumb like me make sure to do all the assignments and and take good notes and you'll be fine.

She is such a nice professor! I will miss this class, but I did have a great time during her class. Also, her lectures were engaging too
