This lady does not understand how to PROOF READ ANYTHING! Taking notes on PowerPoint Slides? You can bet she made mistakes on there and will have to scratch things out five times before getting it right. The chalkboard is always full of corrections to exam questions during the exam. It seems like she has no clue what she is doing. Never again. Bye.

"im not giving you practice problems because no matter what you do it won't prepare you for the test". Actually the worst physics professor you could have. she makes mistakes on every in class problem and all over the tests (which are nothing like the in class problems). She is the worst professor I have ever had. Tests are insanely difficult and nothing like the in class problems she gives in class. I cannot stress enough how awful of a professor she is. The only good thing about HER CLASS, there is nothing good about her, is that her grading scale is nice. Exams only make up 30% of your grade. She's awful.

The most unorganized person I have ever met. Everything is just randomly thrown into courseweb with no folders to organize it. Its 19 days and we still do not have exam scores back. She gives a few suggested problems from the book to do that are based off of whether the answers can be found in the back of the book, and those are her only study tips

Easily one of the worst profs at Pitt. She rushes through ppts in class and wont post them in advance so good luck following along. Her exams are the furthest thing from anything she will teach you in class. She makes at least 3 mistakes on each exam and way more in class. If you actually want to learn physics pick someone else. I don't think that there is a worse professor on the face of the planet/ in the history of the universe. She makes at least 3-5 mistakes on every exam and has to interrupt the class to explain her mistakes. Also, she gives no material to prepare you for the exam and the in class questions typically have mistakes in them that the students find.

If you took physics in high school and are good at algebra, this class should be a breeze. Weekly recitation quizzes and participation questions in lecture. Exams were very fair. Grade is either based on the usual breakdown or the average of your midterms as long as you scored a 75% in recitation/lecture and a 20% on the final (whichever is higher)

Dr. Good was a great lecturer and taught all the quantitative ideas well. Lecture was usually half problem solving and half lectured material. TAs weren't great and recitation quizzes were more challenging than some of the midterm exam questions. Dr. Good really cares about her students and wants them to understand the concepts.

Lectures in a way where she assumed that you have background knowledge in physics - don't take her if you didn't take AP Physics or something similar in high school. Lecture structure is awkward and unengaging, flipped classroom videos are bad, exams are weird. Very kind professor but very disorganized.

I came into this class with zero physics knowledge whatsoever but was able to preform well because Dr. Good sets up her class for success. Midterm exams are easier than assigned homework and recitation quizzes which was a lifesaver because you can take the average of them as your final grade. Was also one of the kindest profs I've ever had.

Very approachable, good prof. Flipped lectures. 3 exams preceded final. Participation based on 2 question weekly quizzes, in class, in groups. Dr.Good stayed after class to answer questions, was available during office hours and via email. Partial credit was given liberally, and you could ask for a regrade. Did do demonstrations as time permitted.

Like others have mentioned, if you took any physics in highschool, this class should be a breeze. You have more than enough time to complete her midterms which weren't difficult. She's enthusiastic about what she teaches. She has 2 grading systems which can save you if you do poorly on the final (saved me) the departmental final was hard (50% avg).
