Automatic A. You dont even have to show up more than a third of the time. I could have gotten an A in Instructional Communication when I was 9 years old, and I am not exaggerating. Just be nice to her and let her learn your name, I dont think she has the heart to give anyone anything less than a B. If you fail her class, you don't belong in any school, anywhere.

Mel T. is quite possibily the greatest college professor EVER!!.. This from a person who is terrifyed of public speaking.. i loved her, loved her class and actually looked foward to going!! the work is easy and she is such a sweet lady!! DEF take her!!

Take this class, her class is a good class! You'll have to do some work but if you do that you'll get a great grade.

Mel's great. Her tests are pretty easy if you read the review packets. The micros are on anything you want, so be creative. She's really sweet and loves her students! It was probably the most interesting class I had all semester. Plus, we got to watch Billy Madison :)

Going to class is fun, but the online quizzes you have to do are kinda tricky. If you don't buy the textbook, just use the older edition in the library (for the quizzes; almost the same thing). Two micros (teach the class something), a few group projects, and plenty of interactive activities. Definitely recommended for different teaching style

Very easy class. Lessons sometimes pointless and unnecessary. Dont need textbook. 10 online quizes (1 per week). 2 small class lesson plans when you teach the class. Mostly small group work. Attendence policy. No tests. No final.

TAKE MEL! She is so laid back and her comm classes are extremely easy. There are chapter quizes online every week which you must take notes on chapter to do well but it dosnt take up much time at all. Alot of group work and some presentations which are a breeze

Soooo easy! Class was so much fun, I felt like I was back in middle school with all the fun activities we did. Does take attendance but gives you up to 4 absences. Definately take her if you can... EASY A.

EASY CLASS! Have to mentor for 10 hours, but its not bad at all. Lots of group work and coloring. Weekly quizzes and take home exams. She's such a nice teacher and is very helpful. Take her!!

I had her for the fall 2010 Education Living learning community (LLC). I had fun going to a cook out at her house. She is very helpful and kind. There is a lot of mandatory participation you must do in otder to do well like 15 volunteer hours for the Wicomico Mentoring Project and lesson plan demonstrations. The class can be challenging and fun.

For 101, there are 14 quizzes all online, 4 true assignments, and semi-regular, easy/small homeworks graded for completion. Extremely easy grader, and the lowest 4 quiz grades are dropped. Very nice, very helpful. Class consists of power points and lots of "talking with the people around you," then sharing w/the class. TAKE HER!

I LOVE Mel! She is very fun and helpful, such a sweetheart. The online quizzes are easy as long as you skim the reading. Her 250 class also requires volunteer hours and mini-lesson presentations, but those were fun. Also, she had a cookout at her house. She's pretty chill.

Suuuuuch a sweet woman who loves her job. Her class was relatively easy, just don't forget your clicker for the clicker quizzes. I liked how she had out-of-the-classroom projects, but obviously they had their downfalls because you had to make extra time for them.

easiest class ever, no tests and theres only a few quizzes which are basically definitions straight out of the book. everything is group work and you get to pick your groups. you have a do a community service project with your group which kind of sucks because its hard to find a time where you all are free. but i highly recommend her!

Mel is super fun and if you're thinking about CMAT 101 you totally should take it with her! Lectures aren't boring, no tests just a few quizzes, lots of group work, classes are based on participation of the class. It was an easy class to do well in if you do all your work. She's also super helpful and helped me a lot with advising!!!

Mel is amazing! Show up, don't miss a class- it's not worth it! She takes attendance and it can be the difference between an a and a b. This class is a blast if you work well with others and get a good group - I was lucky enough to, and had a great semester! We had a few 1-2 page papers, but mostly group projects & online quizzes- no tests or final

Professor Trenary is a sweet heart! She is so nice and while her classes can sometimes be boring you must take her if you can. Just attend every class and be involved and you will surely get an A

Way too easy if you ask me, but it's a beginning course so I guess that's a good thing. She's a sweet woman though, just doesn't expect much from her students. Every assignment is "wingable"

This is one of the easiest classes I've ever seen. The material is common knowledge, the work is easy, there isn't a lot of homework. If you need an easy A, then take this class. She encouragesforces you to talk to the people around you, so be ready for that. The only wary thing is a few group projects that can take up some time. But not a lot.

Loved this class. It was fairly easy but still learned a lot. Pretty basic class but she makes it fun.

TAKE HER! Timed online chapter quizzes and group projects. She is fun and her lectures are fun. Participate and you will have a great semester. Attendance mandatory. Easy A. Book is a must have for quizzes. I would take her again and again.

Mel was a rockstar! This was one of my most enjoyable classes yet. She is very understanding and is willing to work with you no matter your situation. There was a lot of group work but it was easy and online quizzes are a breeze if you read the book! Book was free online also.

She's a really nice lady, who doesn't seem to expect much. You can turn in things on time, or you can turn them in months late and still get 100%. There's group work, so make sure you get a good group. There's no tests, only online quizzes.

No class on Fridays, lets us out early pretty often, mostly just talking with groups and sharing non-graded presentations. Mentoring is a little annoying but honestly worth it for such an easy A.

Dr. Ternary is the sweetest professor I have ever had. She is such a caring person and really wants you to succeed. She doesnt require a textbook. This class is an easy A as long as you go to class and to the library meetings. Shell give some Fridays off which is very nice of her. I would 100% recommend taking her... such an inspiring person.

Dr. Trenary is awesome! As long as you come to class, you will do well. She really wants her students to succeed and it shows that she really cares! I would definitely take her class again!

Mel is a great person. She is super kind and always willing to answer questions. This being said however; the class was kind of confusing and I did not really learn anything. The class is an easy A if you are looking for an elective or easy gen-ed but do not expect it to be interesting. An outside service project, speech, and some little papers.

Professor Trenary is an easy going and understanding professor. She has an attendance policy you can not have more than 3 unexcused absences, but other than she is pretty understanding when things come up. Assignments are easy, and if you do something incorrectly she gives you an opportunity to correct it to earn a better grade.

Professor Trenary is so kind and easy to work with and this is a super easy course. The only thing is you have to complete 10 hours working with students at a middle school but if you complete that you will 100% get an A.

by far the easiest class I've ever taken. I was chilling with 107% for two months and I spent less than an hour on this class every week. She really cares about her students. I would try to make a connection w her because then she tends to give more extra credit. I maybe opened the textbook once or twice but I never really read, just common sense

She is so down to earth and really cares about her students. Very easy but also interesting course and the workload isn't super heavy. I've had over 100% since the beginning of the semester because she'll give extra credit if you really participate and show your effort. I'd love to have her again.

Prof. Trenary is super nice! her class is easy and I ended the class with a very high grade. Because the class was hybrid all of our work was done online with lectures in person. The work load was very manageable and she was there for any questions we had.

Professor Trenary is my favorite professor to date. Most of the assignments are discussion posts and its basically all graded on participation. She offers multiple extra credit opportunities and makes all of the content fun to learn. She leaves feedback on every assignment and genuinely cares if you're grasping concepts. Please take this class!!!

Trenary was an amazing professor and her classes are very laid back. There were three main assignments for this course. Last assignment was a group presentation. She always reminded us when stuff was due which was nice. This was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. The textbook is free and online. There were quizzes due each week
