I had her for psychology and all the requirements for the course were very straightforward. Very friendly professor and fairly easy course. If you read over the lectures and go to lectures at least half the times you should get a good grade.

Dr. C is great. You didn't have to go to class but sometimes there were bullet points on the provided lectures that weren't thorough enough to get some of the test questions. Gives study guide with everything that is and isn't on the test. Do it well and you'll be fine. Doesn't just read off slides like someone said. Highly recommend for intro.

Great teacher! I always look forward to walking into her class and listening to her say "hello everybody" in a sweet voice. She is very caring and friendly. When it comes to her lectures, she is very organized and comprehensive, she absolutely does not read off of the slides; she allows lots of time for questions and her tests are very easy.

Melinda is a helpful and easily accessible professor, almost too accessible for how easy the class is. She gives up to 10 points EC and drops your lowest exam score out of 5 exams. The final is optional and all of the relevant material is on the lecture slides. I missed 5 or 6 lectures and still did exceptionally well.

Dr. C was one of the nicest professors I have had here at Pitt! She gave plenty of bonus opportunities and was super helpful. Got a study guide for every test which was exactly what the test was on. I rarely read the book, just went over her lectures. Definitely would recommend!

Dr. C was by far my favorite professor for my first semester at Pitt. Her exams were fair and her lectures were easy to follow. She gives study guides for all of her exams. If you understand all the material on the study guides you will be fine. Final is optional, there is extra credit and I passed with an A+ without taking the final. Recommend!!!

I had her for intro to psych. She's very interesting & nice. There are 5 mult choice exams & she drops the lowest one. Also several online quizzes, but you're given a week to take them. The textbook isn't necessary because the exam questions come from lecture, and she posts all the slides online. There are also many opportunities for extra credit.

It's a really good class! Dr. C is the best teacher I have taken. She is so nice and her lecture is awesome! Focus on her lecture, and be sure you review everything on study guide. You'll get A easily. You also will have 10 credits total!

Melinda is one of the sweetest professors I've ever had. Psych 0010 is boring by nature, but she loves Psychology so much that you start to like it yourself. Tests are super easy and book is not necessary. Offers plenty of extra credit as well. Best into to psych teacher at Pitt.

Intro psych with her was incredibly easy. Uses powerpoint slides that are accessible from home, so you never really have to show up. If you want a nice GPA boost, take Dr C.

By far the easiest class I took last semester. All tests are multiple choice and you're allowed to drop one exam because the final is optional. She posts all of her lecture slides on courseweb, so it's not even necessary to go to class usually.

One of my favorite classes. The class is really interesting and Dr. C does a good job of explaining the material. Don't bother buying the textbook since everything you need is on the slides. She gives a study guide for each exam and the final is optional. There's a lot of simple extra credit opportunities too and going to lecture is necessary.

Definitely one of the easiest classes to take at Pitt. I have a flat 100% in the class right now with 2 exams left. She drops the lowest, so as long as I get a D+ on Exam #4 then I get an A. All slides are online and lectures aren't even a thing for me. Dr. C is super nice and her slides make a lot of sense. At least 10 points of extra credit too.

One of the easiest Gen Eds offered at Pitt. 5 exams, including the final, and she drops the lowest one, so if you do well all semester you won't need to take the final. She posts all her slides and lectures online and personally for me it wasn't even worth going to class. Exams are all MC and she makes a study guide for each one. Definitely take!

the night class is totally bearable because she's so into what she teaches and gives great stories. listen and you're guaranteed an A on the tests. she has a study guide you can fill out during lecture, and she follows it exactly. the only time you need the book is for the essays, which are basically about personal experienes

Dr. C. is a very good professor. Lectures are were kept surprisingly interesting despite intro to psychology being a somewhat boring topic. The class was also very easy and there are numerous extra credit opportunities. Would recommend.

Super easy class, after the first test I had a 107. I took the class MWF and skipped around 8-9 lectures. Take this class for a Natural Science requirement.

5 multiple choice exams, but because you can drop one most people don't have to take the final. Posts everything online so unless you're confused on a topic you really don't have to go (although you should). Very sweet and cares about her students a lot.

Ciccocioppo really wants her students to do well in her class, and it is hard not to. Tests are straight forward and the lowest one is dropped, usually allowing most to not take the final. Going to lecture is helpful but they are all online so it is okay to miss. Intro to Psych with her was a super easy gen ed, definitely recommend!

Super easy class would recommend for sure! Tests are very straightforward, as she gives a study guide beforehand. Drop the lowest test or the final. Posts lecture slides beforehand, so don't really need to go to class. Never read the book and always studied the night before. She really wants her students to do well and offers extra credit.

If you just show up to all lectures and pay a little attention, or even just sit there and play on your phone, you'll do fine. I made the mistake of skipping 10 lectures in a row, ended up 2 points away from an A- by the end of semester, stayed for the optional Saturday 8am final, ended up 2 points away from an A. All points must be earned.

Dr. C is the best professor I had at Pitt. She makes her class so interesting and engaging, that I learned a lot without even realizing that I was working hard, because of the motivation I had to study the material. Thanks to her, I'm considering a minor in PSY. She cares for her students to actually learn, instead of making it difficult to pass.

Dr. C is amazing! Take her as a gen ed requirement. She gives extra credit throughout the semester and both she and her TA's are accessible outside of class. The lecture was 350+ people but she genuinely cares about her students. Attendance is taken in class by response questions, but you can miss a few and still pass. The tests aren't hard.

The class is super easy, all you gotta do is go to class and she will let you skip the final if you do well on all the other tests. My class had mcq and lots of opportunities to get extra credit . It's really easy to succeed in her class and you get like 1 assignment every couple of weeks and it literally takes 5 mins.

If you show up for lectures and pay attention, you will pass. I studied the night before the exams every time and got A's on each one. Melinda made the lectures interesting and formed lots of connections to help students remember the material. The textbook was online and only needed for the homework. Lots of extra credit. With the amount of people in the class, it's not hard to let your mind wander. But EVEN IF you don't pay attention, you'll be fine. She uses tophat for participation. If you took any psych classes in high school, this will be a walk in the park. If not, studying a day or two before an exam will prove sufficient. You won't find an easier psych class

She doesn't post her lecture slides until after the chapter and does online participation points with an access code given at the beginning of class, so definitely attend lectures. Dr. C is an amazing professor and Psy0010 was my favorite class by far. She gives study guides for each exam that has exactly what is going to be on it and also provides a lot of ways for extra credit.

Dr. C was great. I am not a psych major, but this class was one that made me consider it. She is very clear about grades, offers plenty of extra credit and other opportunities, and even did an interview with me for another class. She usually has well prepared TAs for helping classes, and it is great for majors or just for the gen ed.

This was not a tough class but was pretty interesting. The fact that I wasn't stressing about my grade made the class more enjoyable and I think I learned more. Bonus points are everywhere. and she drops your lowest test grade or the final.

She's nice. You need to purchase an expensive Launchpad to do assignments (that are easy). Tests aren't hard. She releases the slides AFTER the subject is over, which is kind of annoying. Even though she does that, still show up to class b/c having those notes and already knowing the material makes the tests soooo much easier. Lots of extra credit

Dr. C is very passionate about what she teaches and makes lecture fun attend. She is very peppy and relatable, and in complete honesty the class is an easy A. Tests are easy and directly related to lecture material, and there is lots of extra credit; not to mention you can drop a test grade. She teaches VERY well, hence the reason its an easy A.

Dr. C's class was the reason I decided to double major with Neuroscience and Psychology. Her lectures are incredible. Also, she gives study guides for tests. Her tests are SO fair and will never have any questions about material that isn't on the study guides. 100% suggest taking her class

Professor C is honestly one of the best professors you can get at Pitt. The grade comes from 4 quizzes, a final, four homework assignments that take a maximum of 5 minutes, and 20 give me participation points for showing up. Also she drops your lowest grade so if you have an A you do not have to take the final. Additionally, her lectures are sogood

Dr. C is a great teacher and is good with explanations. You have to buy the code for launchpad, but I never used the actual book. She does participation things with technology, but you could probably do it from elsewhere.

She's an excellent teacher so you'll definitely learn. Exams are all multiple choice and usually take about 20-25 minutes to complete. Absolutely take this class if you get the chance

Dr. C is an easy A, especially if you took AP psych in high school. She is so sweet and she wants her students to succeed. Posts the powerpoint after completion of each chapter. Tests are easy and the very few assignments you'll have are easy too. Overall very good class. Participation in lectures through turning point responses is important!!

Great teacher, great class! Almost all of the lectures throughout the semester are very interesting which makes class enjoyable. 5 exams total including the final and only the 4 best are counted. So do well on the first 4 and you can skip the final. If you're thinking about this class for a gen ed, I highly recommend it .

Dr. C is the easiest professor at Pitt. I never took AP psych and I still ended with an A+ in this class by only skimming my notes the night before exams. Going to class isn't 100% mandatory but being there for in class questions and notes will make it even easier. Plus she is just nice and funny. The optional final is great. Overall 10/10!

Probably the easiest class at PItt... LIterally just read the powerpoints twice before an exam and you will finish it in 30 minutes and get an A. I did not have any psych experience in high school and still got over 100% from all of the easy extra credit she offers. Best class for an easy GenEd.

This class is ridiculously easy. A few short homeworks and four multiple choice exams. You have the opportunity to skip the final if you don't want to take it. She posts all her lecture notes and study guides for each section. As long as you fill them out and do the extra credits she provides, it's easy to get an A. She's also very nice and caring.

Dr. C is great. She's very nice and sweet and gives you all the information you need in a straightforward and easy to remember way. Her slides have literally everything you need to know for all the exams and she posts them online. Just go over all the terms on the review sheet before each exam and you're golden.

This is possibly the easiest class at Pitt with very little outside commitment needed. I did just above the bare minimum plus a couple of her very helpful extra credit options and got an A+.

Dr. C is great, and you should definitely take her for intro to psych if you can. Her final is optional, and the exams are all 40 multiple choice with stuff straight from the notes/slides. She is engaging and even though you can skip and still do fine, you're missing out if you do. She does a few easy sporadic participation activities in lecture.

If youre taking intro to psych Dr C is your go-to. She posts everything online, she has easy tests that come from ppts and lecture, and gives a ton of extra credit. If you at least study the night before for every test you should get an A. Also she drops a test.

We love Dr.C, I had her for Psych of Gender. She is truly kind and knowledgeable. The group project was a 1/2 hour presentation and pretty unpleasant, grading criteria was a little unclear. But the final is take-home with no midterm, and the textbook is online so u can CTRL-F if things get rough. Would recommend!

Dr. C is very clear on grading criteria and what is needed from each student. There are a few quizzes outside of class, but they're online and open book/note. She makes psychology interesting and is willing to help. Go to lecture because she does not post slides until the last day it is covered and there are participation assignments at random.

Dr. C is great. I don't know her on a personal level because intro to Psych is a huge lecture, but the class has still been great. She makes the class fun, interesting, informative, and relatively easy. Tests and quizzes are fairly easy. There's really no work besides studying. Dr. C is super organized and makes psych material very accessible (as someone who never took psychology before!). Final is optional, and it is very easy to do well on the other 4 exams by using her powerpoint slides that come directly from the textbook material.

This class is pretty easy to pass, as long as you come to class. There are lecture activities that affect your grade if you miss too many, and they are random. She sticks perfectly to time. The TAs aren't super helpful so it's more beneficial to go to her office hours. It's very much an introductory class good for non-science majors.

Very clear class structure. Knows her stuff and cares about her students. Required WAY too much attendance for what is essentially a giant intro class, but she offers a ton of extra credit so it makes up for it. Really straightforward tests, I recommend overall.

Dr. C is a gem. What an amazing professor. Unless you are someone who for some reason needs a professor to make an intro psych class extremely difficult and information loaded, this is the professor to take. The class is almost effort based, in that effort almost directly translates to a good grade. Extra credit all day, and good clear lectures.

Psych 10 with Dr. C was one of my favorite classes. Her lectures are easy to understand and she always uses powerpoint and posts the slides after class. There are four exams and a final and you can drop your lowest grade (so most people just skip the final). I didn't use the textbook at all, would not recommend spending the money on it.

Ciccocioppo gives amazing lectures, explains all of the material very well, easy to understand. However, while she has powerpoint slides for the material, they are just guidelines for what she talks about in the lecture so skipping class is gonna really hurt your grade.

Dr. C is a blast. She is super accessible, caring, and passionate. I enjoy her class quite a bit. Her examples are hilarious, her class control is remarkable, and her attention to detail and explanations are spot on. Take this class if you are looking for an easy gen ed. You can't go wrong!

10 quizzes and 4 assignments that are assigned throughout the quarter are a little challenging at time, but the 4 exams are easy if you go through the study guides she gives you and make sure you can define each point...i got As on every single exam. highly recommend this class if you need an easy gen ed class

Loved this intro to psych class, prof uses tophat for chapter readings and questions embedded in the text for homework. Easy to comprehend and do the HW, she offers lots of extra credit throughout the semester and the exams are not super difficult if you study the power points. I rarely went to class and passed with an A so definitely recommend!

This was probably my favorite class from this semester. Dr.C is an amazing professor and she finds ways to make the huge lecture fun and entertaining. Her study guides line out exactly what you need to know for the exam. If you do well enough on the first 3 you dont have to take the final! I would highly recommend this class to anyone.

EXCELLENT professor. Does her best to make lectures easy to follow. Your grade is going to consist of 3 exams + the final, and one of them is dropped - optional final - as well as homeworks. Homework consists of a huge part of your grade, and honestly is not stressful or difficult at all. Super easy A if you study for a few hours before exams.

Would recommend Dr. C to any freshman acclimating to college. She gives ample extra credit, review classes before exams, and more. She makes good connections to the real life and the final isn't mandatory if you're happy with your 3 exams. A nice easy class where you'll definitely learn a lot. Tests can be tricky for some but they encourage you to take the material and think how they might apply. Dr. C is amazing! She is super caring, her lectures are comprehensive and engaging, and she does a great job explaining all the concepts. Lectures aren't mandatory, but you'll want to go. Very straightforward exams and an optional cumulative final.

Dr. C is AMAZING! Her lectures were fantastic, and even with everything online, she made them really engaging and just fun to go to. Her tests are very easy too, 3 open note/book midterms and a final, but she drops your lowest (including the final). Only downside is the TopHat homework questions are built into the textbook, so you have to buy it.

Dr. C is a pleasure. She knows how to keep you engaged in the material and cares about her students learning the material. The class itself isn't hard and her test questions are applications from lectures. Because of the virtual nature this year, her tests were open note. She allowed you to drop your lowest test which made the final optional.

Please take this professor, maybe the best I have had at Pitt. She makes understanding the material very easy and she is a pretty engaging lecturer as well. The homework is a little time consuming but nothing too bad. Study at all before the exams and they will be easy. One of the best professors and easiest A's at Pitt.

Dr. C is an amazing professor! I had her for PSY 0010 and now for PSY 0184. She is a caring professor and her lectures are great. There was a weekly homework assignment, a group project, and a final exam, but if you put in work then the class is an easy A. I definitely recommend taking her for any course if you can.

Dr. C is very kind and makes this class super easy for her students. Lectures are boring and basically optional. Every other week theres a chapter reading with questions due, and three exams plus an optional final. For each exam you're given up to 24 hours to take it, open note, and the answers can be found pretty easily in the chapter readings.

Dr. C is so kind. She literally makes the test open all day and the lowest is dropped. She even had office hours DURING the exam and you could ask questions.

For the exams, I barely read the textbook and only took lecture notes. I got an A on every exam. Almost everything you need to know is gone over in lecture. She is a very caring professor who is always willing to help you. There is a homework assignment due almost every week, but the questions are all based on the reading and very easy.

If you're a psych major looking for some easy electives, this is the prof to take. No midterms, easy homework, participation points. She's super chill, can't recommend enough.

If you can take psych of women+ with Dr C, DO IT! This is the best class I have taken at Pitt. I learned so much in an environment that was very welcoming. The course work was not overwhelming or stressful, so you can engage with the content without worrying too much about your grade. Cannot say enough good things about Dr C or this class.

Dr. C was a great professor. Exams were open book, open note, open internet. Super clear during lectures, attendance isn't mandatory but you should still go to class because she goes into detail + what she talks about in class shows up in exams. Super easy class, barely had to do any work and got a 98.

Dr. C is phenomenal and one of my favorite profs at Pitt; this is the second class I've taken with her. She makes succeeding so easy: easy weekly reading and writing assignments and an open note, untimed final exam based all on material discussed in class. She is very organized, caring, and clearly knows her stuff. Always a pleasure.

Dr. C's Intro to Psych was an easy class taught by a great prof. Her lectures were interesting and informative, and her exams were incredibly easy. Additionally, she would give out extra credit if no one cheated on the exam. The only downsides were the research requirements and the weekly readings, which were a bit tedious, but very easy.

MUST READ. Like everyone else said, great professor. Very knowledgeable and fair tests (which are 99% based on the lectures). Take good notes and youll do well. Very enthusiastic and calm professor to listen lectures to.

Lectures are interesting and broken up by group activities or discussions. Quizzes and readings are relatively easy. Offers a lot of extra credit. Very kind person, puts a lot of work into classes, and tries hard to make sure students are not overloaded. Going to class helps, but isn't required. Overall, amazing prof wish I took her sooner!

Dr. C is the definition of slay. This class was very interesting and taught in a way that just made sense. She had us read a Top Hat textbook and answer weekly questions there. Her tests were open for 24 hours with no time limit; it took some time to make sure all of my questions were correct, but it was worth it 100%!

Dr. C is a great professor. She takes the time to answer all and any of the question asked during class. She also includes "in-class problems" for students to complete during class. They aren't graded, but are great resource tools for exam questions. She also gives out bonus points.

The QUEEN OF PSYCHOLOGY. She is amazing - all of her lectures are recorded (you do not have to attend class) and all of her exams are online for 24 hours with backtracking allowed (and open note). Definitely take her for psych; added this class last minute during the enrollment period and do not regret it what-so-ever!

Two words- the best. Homework on Top Hat but you get two weeks to complete them. There are three exams and one final exam, but she drops the lowest test score. The exams are open for two days and is open note, open lecture slides, + open internet. There is an option for an extra credit assignment that will boost your grade 1% point.

Melinda is as chill as can be. The class consists of all lectures but attendance is not mandatory. There are 4 exams including the final which is optional. All exams are taken online and are open note/open web. Homework consists of 9 chapter readings and questions that aren't challenging. If you put in minimal effort you will pass the class.

Dr. C fosters genuine interest in psychology because she cares about her subject and about the mental wellbeing of her students! All exams are open book, open note and every homework assignment comes with plenty of time to complete it. She's also a fantastic lecturer and is super knowledgeable!

absolutely loved dr.c for intro to psych (as a psych major!) the class is extremely similar format to an ap psych class content-wise. her lectures were great and the chapter q's are straight-forward. all lectures are recorded. the tests are open-note / internet and you have 2 days to do them. lowest exam grade and chapter grade dropped. very easy!

She drops your lowest exam score of the 4, which was a relief for me because I slept through one's deadline. My advice is to do all of the homework so you have good padding for your grade. As always, read the syllabus before you email questions :)

In a lecture hall with 400 students, I think this class is taught the best way it could be. The lectures are engaging and you can follow along through questions she posts during lecture (which are ungraded). The reading is mandatory because it's through an online site with questions, but it's only once a week and helps you learn the material.

I along with the other 163 people loved this class. Dr. C designs her own curriculum to keep topics relevant and interesting. Not much work, just take notes on lectures (which she records) and you'll succeed. You're missing out if you don't take Dr. C.

You need a pulse to get an A in this class. Exams are online, multi choice, and you get two days to do them. All of the answers to every exam question are in her slides that she posts. You literally do not need to go to class, but if you do, you'll have a great time because she is an absolute delight. You simply cannot go wrong.

All exams were open note, online, and not given in person with over 24 hours to complete. I showed up to lecture at most twice this semester and put in minimal effort. From my limited experience, lectures seemed interesting and Dr. C also seemed really nice. We had 3 midterms and a final and we could opt not to take the final if we were happy with our grade. The midterms were all asynchronous and she gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. melinda is an angel. intro to psych is a very easy low effort class with her and you can get away with not going to lecture and still doing very well, just put in a mild amount of effort before her midterms/homework and you should be good

Professor Ciccocioppo really cares about keeping her students' academic stress to a minimum, so she makes all the exams open note/internet/textbook/for ~24hrs online. Other than exams, there are Top Hat questions embedded in the textbook and 5hrs of participation in psych research studies (online surveys are super doable). Loved her class!

She was legit so easy but cared so much about the class. It was fun to go to her lectures! There's one homework due every week but its easy work. 3/4 tests count towards final grade. Would take again!

Dr. C cares a lot about her students. She is well respected in her field, and is very knowledgeable. Class is very easy and grading is straight forward. Tests are 50% (four of them lowest is dropped), homework 45% (lowest also dropped), and 5% research (very easy to complete). Lectures can be dry at times, but the content is interesting.

Professor C is such an amazing professor. every week you do a short quiz on the textbook chapter (very easy) and then you discuss the topic in class. you will have to do one presentation on one of the chapters, but she helps you prepare for it well and the topics are interesting. one final exam but you take it online and its open note!

This was a very easy class. All the tests were online, untimed and open book and the tests were kept open for the entire day. There are 3 exams and 1 final but you can drop the final if you have taken the first 3 exams. She is a great lecturer and her classes are really interesting if you like psychology. It's easy to do well in this class. If you attend the lectures then the readings aren't necessary and she won't test you on things we didn't discuss. All exams are open note. I will say that it's important to try on hw because thats where I lost a lot of credit.

I barely went to any lectures or did any of the homework, basically learned all the material when I took the few take-home, open-note, all-day exams. When I did go to lectures she seemed very engaged and knowledgeable on topics.

I regularly didn't go to lecture and followed along at home, still did very well on exams. Everything is open-note and she offered many chances for extra credit. Perfect for a relatively easy Gen Ed and she was generally a very happy, bubbly presence.

Dr. C was great. Convinced for this class you could not go to a single lecture and just have the top hat textbook and still be able to get a A+. If you actually want to obtain something from this class he gives great insight and her lectures are engaging.

I can't stress how easy this class was. I went to two lectures the whole semester. The tests are open book and follow along with her slideshow chronologically. All the chapter questions were in quizlet so I did them early. The research project was so easy and no writing required at all. I was able to do it all over my computer. It was just surveys.

"A" on a silver platter. Tests are open-note, open-internet, and open-teacher (she would give answers during class). Never have to attend a lecture (though she's actually a pretty good teacher). Take this class for the easiest A in your life.

You need to attend class is you want to get a good grade. Exams are based on lecture, but they are online. You have 4 exams (including a final) and the lowest one gets dropped. You also having weekly reading assignments and questions in the online textbook. She genuinely cares for her students and makes the course as unstressful as possible.

Professor C is genuinely such an amazing professor. I took this class to fulfill a gen ed which most people do and she kept the lectures relevant and interesting. Her exams were online and not too difficult. She also offers extra credit- overall such a sweet professor, highly recommend!

Dr. C is kind and enthusiastic. Her class proves boring if you don't interact when provided with the opportunity, but it is also your choice to attend since she posts online lectures. The exams are also online so you can easily prioritize other classes and consult your notes for hers. Take her class for an easy Gen Ed.

If you are a Psych Major, take her she is a great professor. Super organized, super understanding and overall finds ways to keep the class engaged.

Stopped going to class before February and will still end up with an A. Lectures were fine but long. Homework is very easy, tests are pretty much open anything and very fair. Fun person and professor. Easy A.

She knows most ppl are in intro psych for gen ed, so she makes it very easy to get an A. Records lectures, will quite literally give you test answers if you ask in class. Very caring and knowledgeable so def useful if ur a psych major. Only quip: she uses TopHat and u need to buy course for like $40. Does provide fee waivers tho but no regrets!

Dr. C is a great professor, she treats the class like an intro class. Graded on TopHat homework for all nine chapters, three of four take home exams, and research credits. Attendance is not mandatory and she is also very nice. Take her for intro to psych, she is great.

Dr C is the BEST. Open note open internet take home exams with lowest dropped, class isn't required. Homework assignments are 20 topcoat questions a week. If you do go to lectures they're entertaining and she's a great lecturer. Overall the best intro prof, can't recommend her enough

Dr. C is AMAZING. Take her! All 3 midterms and final are online and open note. There are tophat homeworks that follow the textbook. Attendence is not enforced (i never went to a single class). By far the easiest class here at pitt. She is also just a really kind and caring person. PS. whoever was selling her exam questions on chegg shame on you!

Dr. C's intro psych class is an easy A. With open-note exams and minimal attendance, it's a breeze. I used unstuckstudy ai and the free textbook to ace this course. Highly recommend for a simple gen ed credit.

One of the sweetest professors ever. Intro to psych can be boring as it's a pre-req to study the more interesting subjects in psych, but she makes lectures engaging and finds ways for students to participate during class. Homework is easy to complete and exams are all online and open note.

Dr. C was one of the best teachers I've ver had at Pitt. She cares about her students and is always available to help. Her lectures are easy to follow and her exams are super straight forward. I cannot recommend her enough!

The best professor I've had so far. You can tell she really loves the things she talks about and is very knowledgeable. Always sticks around after class if you have questions and only gives out a few assignments and a final, which are all very easy to get an A on. She's extremely kind and is very open to the opinions of her class. Please take her.

Psych of Women is one of the easiest (if not, it might be the #1 easiest) psych upper level. That's why it fills up so quickly! I got lucky going onto Canvas one day and seeing there was an opening. Group project, online/open note quizzes, and online/open note final exam. She is so caring and a great professor. I had her for Intro to Psych too.

Awesome lectures, participation matters but I think everyone should take this class because Dr. C is very sensitive and her class is wonderful regarding discuss gender minorities.

Dr. C is a gem! Gender psych is an awesome, easy elective. Weekly reading quizzes were open note, lectures were easy to follow and interesting, and then the final exam was open note and fairly easy. Lots of opportunity for extra credit, too! Participation wasn't mandatory in the big lecture, but encouraged!

Absolutely one of the easiest classes I have taken at Pitt. I literally showed up to class to do the TopHat and copied down her slides into my notes and quite frankly did not listen in class. I got an A+ just by doing the easy writings she assigned and using my notes on the open-book final exam. Definitely take her if you need an easy gen-ed/class.
