She's an awesome professor. Very clear and makes you feel super comfortable. Her class is easy, you just have to make sure you show up to class and turn in all of your assignments! She provides a study guide and tests are not too bad because she puts us all in groups to study. Very helpful!

Reflective journal 20pts and 2 extra credit opportunities. The class was eye opening, fun, and interesting. Westland does visual, audio & hands on learning.

Don't buy the book. Do everything in her class (2 extra credits and 3 two pages papers that are easy). Try to score 90 on all of your exams and when you reach 841 points (A+)(total tally for all assignments) before final, you don't have to take the final! Really helpful professor,she very open and will help you with the best ability she can do!

Just finished the online summer course. Its a lot of work since we cover everything that a regular semester course does, but the syllabus clearly lays out what is expected and grading criteria. Professor Westland's nutrition class was very straightforward and pretty interesting to learn baseline nutrition knowledge. I took the class to fulfill a biological science credit at a 4 year. Complete the study guides and you'll be more than ready for the tests. No need to take additional notes. This was a very chill and easy class to take.

I really enjoyed watching the lectures. It's an easy A class if you put in the effort. I took the summer class, It consisted of 3 essays,2 optional extra credit essays, four 100 questions timed exams that is open book but not needed because she also provides a study guide to fill out during the lectures where all the questions will come from.

There's a couple of assignments due each week (1 reflection + 1 case study discussion), and if you do the study guides the tests are a breeze. 4 exams, no cumulative final, 3 papers and she also gives extra credit. 10/10

Professor Westland provides Lecture slideshows. One with a voiceover and she explains in detail and gives examples, and the other with just the slideshow. She has weekly discussions and 3 essays. Super easy and easy A. Make sure to go over the exam review video she provides. It is a long video but she does give the answers to the exam.

Her lectures are mandatory, but communicate when you have questions or problems attending class she is very reasonable and understanding. The quizzes were taken online and follow the study guide almost exactly so very easy to do well. Her lectures make going to class fun.
