We were assigned to a group of 4 which we worked with closely. There were clicker questions over the chapter basically every class (for attendance and accuracy). This was her first year teaching this class & she got the hang of it by the end. She likes to joke around and is very cutesy. There is a lot of reading and the exams were fairly difficult.

Dr. Fogarty is an awesome professor! The class (subject) in general is great, but she lectures in a way that is understandable without being too overwhelming. I am required to get an A or B in this class, so when I first came in I thought I would at least get a "B"; but the class, material, and lectures are so easy that I got an A. PUT EFFORT !

Dr. Fogarty is a super kind and fun prof. The class does have participation grades (using clickers) so you have to go to every class. There are small group assignments each week, and quizzes most weeks, but if you pay attention in lecture they aren't too bad!

Dr. Fogarty is a hilarious professor! She really tries to connect with everyone in her class! There is a quiz due weekly, however, if you paid any attention at all in the lecture, it's an easy A. The only thing I don't like is the attendance. You have to "click in" everyday or you won't pass.

Dr. Fogarty is the best professor ever! She is so passionate about special education and cares so much for her students. There are a lot of guest speakers who come in and talk about different disabilities and give great insight. I would highly recommend Dr. Fogarty! TAKE HER!

2 tests, 3 lab assignments, Personal development, and a journal, nothing too hard. She was amazing to work with, always being sure to be accessible for students and giving great feedBack and help!

Made every lecture super entertaining. Pop quizzes as a way to check attendance but they're always open note & done in group. Most assignments are group work done in class. One assignment requires going to events outside of class time. Test reviews are a joke though. Doesn't leave slide up long enough to write and won't let you take pictures of it

Dr. Fogarty is incredibly knowledgable about this topic and she is a great lecturer. Easy class, just take notes and participate! Would take again.

INST 210 is a very interesting course with awesome guest speakers and lecturers. show up for class because there are random pop quizzes. The main issue I have with this course is that the 2 exams are incredibly difficult and I studied and felt prepared. There are many questions with super similar answers to confuse you and the final ruined my gpa

Fogarty is the sweetest professor I've had this semester! The course isn't too much to handle at all. I didn't use the textbook (except for one assignment), and there's some group work. Overall, I really enjoyed being there, and she's a great at giving lectures because she cares so much about the topic. The tests are hard, but they won't hurt you.

Fogarty was awesome! Attendance isn't mandatory but she gives pop quizzes that can effect your grade. Labs are easy and a good supplement to lecture. Two tests- need to study for them, but very straightforward, especially if you attend class regularly. Jokes a lot and brings in a few guest speakers that are fun. Overall, great class and prof!

Dr. Fogarty is GREAT! She is so much fun and makes class really enjoyable. Her lectures are entertaining. The labs are graded easily and it is easy to get a good grade as long as you complete each assignment. Grading is based on a two projects, easy pop quizzes, lab assignments, a group presentation, a midterm and a final exam.

I LOVED her. She honestly made you feel important in such a large class. She made it a point to go around each day and learn student's names. She kept you involved by passing around a microphone and letting you share and then give you candy for sharing. The class itself was a breeze. Just show up. I hardly took any notes, I just had to listen.

This class was awesome. She puts up pre-typed notes out and leaves blanks in them for you to fill in on ecampus. This class was a breeze. You are in groups the entire semester so you get to know your group members well. I would take Prof. Fogarty for every class if i could.

I absolutely loved Prof. Fogarty she is literally so sweet. I promise you do not have to think twice about taking her class, just do it. It is really easy and I have learned so much about special education.

Professor Fogarty is amazing!!! Her lectures are interesting and the way the class is structured makes the class very doable. INST 210 was an eye-opener and learned so much. TAKE HER, you will not regret it!

So sweet!! I'm in her class right now and don't regret it. Attendance isn't mandatory but sometimes she'll give a pop quiz and give you credit if you're there. NO textbook!! Notes are fill in the blank/square and very easy to look over. We played Kahoots for test reviews too. Sometimes she gives candy for participation!!

Prof Fogarty is so fun in class, it is easy super interesting content and she makes fill in the blank notes to follow along! You are put into groups of 4 but dont be afraid--my lab group became really good friends! The tests are online aka open note and she does give pop quizzes for attendance. Couldn't recommend this class enough!

She's literally the cutest human being ever like I want to be her bestie & go get my nails done with her. She's so funny & the class is so interesting & will definitely open your eyes about a lot of things. There are occasional pop quizzes for attendance & if you miss more than one your grade will suffer but other than that I totally recommend!

LOVE FOGARTY! You are in a group of 4 for the semester which is nice for it being a big class. 2 end of the year projects (easy) and 3 online exams (easy). Fogarty is amazing and she truly cares about what she teaches. Easily my most favorite class I have taken at A&M. I wish I could take her for every class. Take her class, you will not regret it.

Fogarty is my new favorite person at this campus. She truly just wants us to learn the material and makes the tests easy if you pay attention. Her TA Mary Rose is absolutely fantastic. Everyone in this class is so great I would take all of my classes by them if I could! Makes me want to switch to special education!!!

Dr. Fogarty is the best professor I've ever had. She shows genuine care for her students and makes class easy to listen to and entertaining. All of the tests are open book and online, so as long as you have gone to class and taken notes, it's an easy A.

Dr. Fogarty is an amazing professor! I absolutely loved the class I took with her. We worked in groups of four for the entire semester. Three easy online tests, a few pop quizzes, and a group project. You can easily get an A on all of these with a little effort. I learned so much in this class and would definitely take another class with Fogarty.

Fogarty and INST 210 is a blessing to this world. For real. Although there is a bunch of busy work that comes with the lab, the class is super easy. And the people you meet in your lab are awesome! Fogarty makes the class fun to come to and easy to get an A. BUT, SHE DOES POP QUIZZES!! Tests are online and easy.

Great and inspirational teacher! Really cares about her job as she remembered my name from the first day of school in a class of over 200 students. She gives pop quizzes (REALLY easy) just to ensure attendance every now and then; however, she usually warns students if one is coming up. Love her!

Dr. Fogarty is an amazing professor. She is extremely passionate and all of her graduate assistants are equally as good. The class isn't very hard, but you do have to put in some effort in the project and professional development assignment. If you get the chance to take this class, DO IT!

She is amazing, but make sure you take notes because the test are actually kind of hard. You are with a group of 4 for the whole semester (she picks the groups). Yall will sit together all sester. This class is so easy, but texts are tricky if you don't have good notes. She usually gives quizzes when she knows you wont show up like it being rainy.

Fogarty was a great professor! I had to take this class for my degree and it was a great addition to an easy semester. Definitely an easy A. The only downside is the professional development assignment, but it was doable and graded pretty easy. Definitely recommend this professor.

Great professor! Make sure you take notes because she does not post lectures online and you need them for the exams. Assignments due every week but they are simple. She makes lectures entertaining and is SO sweet. I have never had a professor make an effort to try to learn the names of their students in a huge lecture class. Very understanding too!

I don't usually write these, but Professor Fogarty has been such a delight. Assignments are easy to complete and have plenty of time. She really prepares you for the exams and takes into account that we have other things going on in life. She does her best to make her class as stress free as possible. Highly recommend taking a class with her.

If you have the opportunity to take class from Dr. Fogarty... DO IT!!! She is a literal angel on earth and is so understanding of the fact that we have other things going on in our lives outside of this class. She assigned a textbook but the class was very doable without really reading it. Overall 10/10 class and 1000000/10 professor!!!

Dr. Fogarty made the lectures fun and interactive and she also brought in people to speak and give lectures about how disabilities have impacted their life. She is so sweet and understanding of anything you may have going on, she's always willing to help! 2 group projects that aren't bad, weekly discussion posts/activities, and 3 tests (you can skip the last test if you have an A!). She does do random class attendance activities for points but her lectures are interesting!

She's amazing!! Prof Fogarty cares so much and doesn't want her class to be a stress, she just cares about you learning the material. The weekly assignments are super easy, usually took me about 10 min. 2 group projects that are also super easy, and a few tests. Very low stress class while still learning so much. Take her please.

Dr Fogarty is incredible! Take this class if you can! She has awesome lectures, is so caring, has pretty simple assignments about once a week, and if you do well on the first two exams and do the other assignments, you don't have to take the final. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fogarty and could not recommend her class enough!!

This class was easy and fun. She is really friendly and likes getting to know her students. HOWEVER, you have to go to class if you want to well. She tells you during each lecture what is important to know for the exams and will also tell you what you should and shouldn't study. There are group projects, but they're simple and easy to get an A on.

Attendance to lecture is not mandatory, but attendance to labs are. She is super easy to have a conversation with and I always felt welcome to voice my opinions or answer questions in class.

Lots of guest speakers to keep the lectures entertaining and the students engaged! Attendance not mandatory for lectures but there are occasional quizzes in class to motivate students to attend and not leave guest speakers presenting to an empty room! Dr.Fogarty will make sure you are prepared for the tests as long as you just show up to class!

Professor Fogarty is so wonderful and I really enjoyed her class! I got covid halfway through the class and missed several assignments, I was worried that I'd fail since it was a short summer class but she provided extra credit resources that really helped my grade!

This professor is wonderful!! She does a great job of making class a place you want to be with guest speakers, humor, videos, getting to know her students, etc. As long as you show up to class and lab, you are guaranteed an A.

Take the class. Prof is hilarious. All learning is done in lecture and lab. Go to as many lectures as you can, as they aren't recorded or uploaded. Assignments are easy and often fun. Lab period is usually a short lecture and an assignment with your assigned lab group. Your lab TA/lecturer will grade most of your stuff and will give great feedback.

She is the easiest professor if you go to labs, they are mandatory attendance but lectures are not. Grading is easy, just showing up should make it easy for you to get an A. GPA booster, core curriculum, take this class!!!

I LOVED THIS CLASS! I'm a public health major and took this class for my minor and it was the easiest A. Just labs are mandatory attendance ( 1 absence allowed), but lectures are not. Grading is relatively easy, and it was a good GPA booster, and insight into the lives of individuals with disabilities, please just take this class!

I LOVE PROFESSOR FOGARTY! This is definitely the best class I've taken thus far at TAMU. Not only is what the class covers so important and relevant, but Professor Fogarty herself is amazing. She's very easy to work with and talk to and has amazing guest speakers. Attendance is worth 10% of your grade, so not necessarily mandatory but sort of.

This is by far the best professors you can take at Texas A&M University. You will learn so much valuable information for your educational career and the lectures are very enjoyable. Not too much exams and assignment. You will have some classes canceled in replacement of an easy assignment. Lots of very inspiration guest speakers. Take her class!!!!

TAKE HER! My favorite class of all time. She wants you to learn and succeed and that is it. She often has fun guest speakers. She doesn't assign very much homework and they are really easy when she does. Tests are straightforward and she has a review day before each (only 2). She is so funny and genuinely cares. Actually sad this class is over.

Very passionate professor who cares about what she teaches. Two lectures a week with a built in lab. Awesome TA who also did the labs. She is very laidback and hilarious. Brought in many amazing guest speakers to talk about disabilities. Just show up to class and there is absolutely no way you can fail.

Professor Fogarty is amazing! Every assignment has clear instructions and they are all relatively easy. You are guranteed an A if you turn in the work! She has a lot of great guest speaks which makes the class so much more enjoyable. Attendance is taken for a grade but if you miss a couple days your grade will stay almost the same.

Take this class! You can easily make a 100 if you go to class. Only two exams and they are online, no lockdown browser. She is very sweet and makes class fun because truly cares about what she is teaching. Attendance is 15% of your grade and each of the short assignments are graded on completion.

If you are an education major or not,take this class as a credit! this professor is great. She has you purchase an app to take attendance, but it is okay if you miss a few classes. She mostly gives one assignment a week and is very simple, like watching a video and writing a short summary. overall an easy A class, 10/10 recommended.

SPED 302!!!! One of the best Professors at TAMU. I have taken her 2 times now and she is phenomenal. You learn so much for your future career as a SPED teacher. 2 micro teach presentation, Flip Friday assignments, and group project. She is so kind and truly cares about her students. Whiteside her assistant is also amazing and brings baked treats.

This class was amazing. Dr. Fogarty makes everyone in class feel seen and like your opinions and questions mattered, which is impressive for the amount of people in it. It's a comfortable environment to be in. She and Micheal are also really funny so it's definitely worth it going to class! Exams and assignments are easy and fast.

She's great & wants everyone to succeed. Super relatable & makes the content of the class relevant to us. Super bubbly, outgoing, & is very lenient. Group-oriented class but it never feels hard to get things done. Homework & studying are minimal. If you show up to class, pay attention, & make the content relevant to you, it will be very easy.

Super nice woman who cares about what she teaches, there is a reason you don't see a single bad review! Attendance is required but you have 3 unexcused absences before it hurts your grade! She had a co-teacher who also was really great! I honestly can't say a bad thing about her!

Dr. Fogarty is hilarious and clearly passionate about what she is teaching. This class is great for an easy grade. You will be placed in a team that you have to sit with in class and do a few group projects with but they are incredibly easy. Attendance is mandatory and taken at the end of every class and it does count towards a grade.

She also canceled class on Friday a LOT which was so nice and would usually just make an assignment b due that day that were never super hard.
