She's a great professor. She's really good at explaining a topic and making it so we can understand it. Her class was easy, but make sure you do the study guide for the tests.

She makes understanding the class very easy with her powerpoints and note guides. You have to go to class but if you study and attend you will do well in her class

Neal is a great professor! She is really knowledgeable. Put effort and time into the research assignments. Make sure you read the chapters for the test and study the notes. Show up to class so you can get all the notes! If you do this you should be fine! Group projects were fun and you definitely learn a lot!

It's so much easier if taken in the summer, bc if you miss a day for like a vaca it shouldn't effect you. (Don't miss often!) She is so nice and super easy, she'll give you full credit on every assignment as long as its on time! She made psych really interesting and gives you guided notes, so its impossible to fail her tests. Only used the book 1x.

I think it's important to mention I took her during the summer. There were a couple group projects and a lot of getting into group discussions. Her lectures are good and informative, and the tests are based on her lectures, so they were pretty easy. She's really understanding. Of course, it's probably different for non-summer classes.

This class was so much fun for me. She is a wonderful instructor and I would totally take any class she is teaching.

She's very nice and likes to help out her students. She gives out many group projects and tests that are worth a lot of points. I got C's for psych30 and psych001 but that's only because I never studied for the exams. She also gives a makeup exam for the final if you did bad on one of the others. I highly would recommend anyone to take her class

Awesome teacher! She makes the material easy to understand. Her exams are multiple choice. They're not super hard, but you will need to study to do well.

If math isn't your specialty then this class is for you. Dr. Neal explains the material in a way that ensures all who regularly attend class will pass the exams. The class is far from easy but the instructor will do everything she can to help her students learn the material. AND she deserves the chili pepper.

The class was pretty easy. As long as you do everything you will pass even if you don't do that good on test. She gives you guided notes with practice questions on the back for the exams. Exams aren't too hard if you did the practice questions. She does expect you to go to class everyday though.

Dr Neal was an amazing teacher. I enjoyed going to her class and she taught me a lot this semester. By far my favorite teacher, I highly suggest taking her.

Dr. Neal made this challenging subject (statistics) easy to learn (relatively). She is patient and clear and gives ample opportunity for students to seek help. She builds time in to scheduled classes for students to work together on homework. If you need a stats class for transfer in a non-math major, I recommend this one.

I think more professors should be like Dr. Neal! Communicate with her about any problems and she is willing to help you find an action plan! Awesome professor. 1 major research paper which only needs to be a 1 page, and the cool part is that the final is optional! So, if you have a B you can take the final to better your grade or pass with a B.

RECOMMENDED FOR ALL CLASSES!! She is an amazing professor this is the second time I've had a class with her and I really like how organized her class is! If you follow along and don't skip (but honestly you won't want to) you'll do great!

This class was cool, just show up do your work( it's easy), if you need help she will be more than happy to help you. She's very understanding and a very nice caring person. Easy A if you put the work in.

I loved the lectures in this class, and learned a lot (I don't say this lightly because I usually space out and is hard for me to pay attention). The sections are so interesting and she really makes them come to life. You do not need the book, she gives you packets that you take notes in and that is what will be on the test. Super easy, just study!

Professor Neal was amazing! She always made sure you understood what she was lecturing and even had certain days just for questions and studying. There aren't that many assignments throughout the course and she is always willing to help you, so there really is no reason not to pass this class.

I would definitely recommend taking Psych 001 with Dr. Neal. Her lectures present the information clearly and she uses a lot of videos to make things more interesting. My only warning would be study for her tests because they're harder than you would think from the lectures.

By far the best professor at Delta. All of her lectures are on powerpoint and she provides guided notes so you don't have to take them yourself. Hands out an assignment packet that outlines the entire class for the semester. Very organized, super sweet and understanding. She gives clear instructions on how to do assignments and is an easy grader.

She is the best statistics professor ever! If you show up to class and practice solving her problems, you'll surely do well on the exam and the projects. Her projects and worksheets are very fun to do. They're all applications of the things you've learned in the unit. She's very approachable too! She cares for her students.

In her class you have 5 worksheet 5 projects 5 quizzes and 5 exams if you do well with all of those and you are satisfied with your grade you do not have to take the final. Best professor I ever had at Delta! Took her over the summer. You don't need really need the book; everything on the test is in lecture - but lectures are GREAT and interesting and understandable. I really like Dr. Neal, i'm taking her again for psych 2. Very lecture heavy but very good lectures. She also gives you note packets that has all of the notes from the slides in the packet so you can just follow along and write down additional notes if you want. In this class we had five exams all fifty questions but they weren't very difficult.

I recommend Prof. Neal for Pysch 2! She makes lectures easy to understand especially for someone like me who is not so good at math formulas. She is a great professor. Professor Neal is pretty great! She does actually care that you pass so she makes her class easy to understand. She offers workshop days where you can choose to go to class and work with others or ask questions. There are projects that you CAN work with one other with, but you can do them by yourself.

OMG! This is the best professor I've ever had at Delta College. She makes the class so fun and easy but very informative! I've taken her three times already! She teaches so well. The tests are easy if you know what you're looking at. Assigns one page paper every section, but usually gives everyone credit just for doing it! TAKE HER!

Enjoyed learning how statistics is used in psychology & research. Teacher doesn't recommend purchasing the book, & instead hands out notes & a practice packet. She also doesn't make you memorize formulas, since in the actual research world, formulas are always available for reference. Knowing order of operations is a must!

Professor Neal is by far my favorite professor at Delta. I would take her again if I had to. Lectures are easy to follow and if you have questions along the way, she will answer them. She gives out project packets, practice, and all of the slides in her lectures are printed out for you for every chapter. DO NOT SKIP CLASS. Your grade WILL suffer.

Dr. Neal is incredible. I took this class online and was worried about it being difficult. She did video lectures, which made it easy to learn, and fun review games. She gives several attempts to earn a good grade, with retakes for some quizzes, worksheets that you can fill out before taking the tests, and extra credit. Textbook not required.

Dr. Neals online class is very well structured. 5 modules with Step by step instructional videos, follow along with your guided notes for best results! Short quizzes after each video, 1 project per module. She gives you all the tools to succeed and explains the math in a simplified way. Her videos wont bore you! Best class by far!

Professor Neal is AMAZING! She made Psych 2 such a fun class. She really has a good way of teaching. There are 5 units that she covers over all. There is an exam, worksheet, project, and an opportunity for extra credit. There is a lot of extra credit offered, so take advantage! The class was fairly easy--but only because of how good of a professor she is. She made the work easy to understand, and even helped everyone out when a certain assignment or test had a low average score. I 100% recommend for Psych 2, I would love to see how her other classes are.

This class was effortless because she is such a great teacher!!! There are a unit exams and a final but she gives a very generous amount of extra credit. Usually when professors make jokes, it makes me cringe but Neal is absolutely hilarious. It was online and I was constantly laughing. LOVE YOU NEAL.

I took Dr. Neal's class in the fall and I loved it. Her lectures are really organized, fun, and clear to understand. She gives you notes to follow along with the lectures and at the end of every lesson there is a short project. I found myself enjoying those most of the time. It was such an easy class because she explained the content well.

This class is hard in a sense because it is time consuming, but the content itself is very simple. She walks you through everything step by step in her videos. I took her class in the spring of 2020. She provides lectures thoroughly and teaches some of the math equations. Only struggle here is, a few of the math equations on the quiz/tests are not from her lectures so I had a hard time. There was no textbook, only provided pdf worksheets/assignments. Great professor overall. Also I loved the extra credits

Professor Neal is so thorough, organized, accesible, clear, helpful, and hilarious. Her assignments, quizzes, and tests were so easy, in my opinion, because she would explain everything perfectly. Please keep in mind that you do have to prioritize your time! I can not recommend her enough! I passed her class with an A (106.95%).

Professor Neal was one of the best professors I've ever had the opportunity of being taught by! She really goes out of her way to help you learn topics relating to research statistics and goes super in-depth when teaching the formulas required. She makes learning fun by incorporating pop culture references and other things that are relevant.

If anyone helped take away my fear of Math, it would be Dr. Neal. She's not only so kind and compassionate, but she would also make very interactive videos lecturing the subject at hand. In addition, Dr. Neal offered extra credit, which did help, especially if you got an undesirable score for a test or a few quizzes.

This is one of my favorite teachers I have had, she will help you with an issue you have run into, she grades fairly, yes participation matters but when does it not, and she gives a lot of extra credit assignments worth a lot of credit to help students make up for assignments they did poorly on. she wants her students to pass.

I took PSYCH 2 for Dr. Neal and she does an amazing job explaining how to solve problems in her lectures. I have had zero prior knowledge of statistics but taking her class has made me realize how easy it is. Even if you do have a difficult time, there is so much extra credit that you can take.

I absolutely loved this professor, and wish she taught all of my other classes. She's super smart, kind and understanding. She does give lots of quizzes, but if you follow along with her her guided notes/lectures, they're an easy A, she literally spoon feeds the information to you. & her final is not mandatory, she gives you the option to take it!

I've never had a teacher at Delta actually put so much work in, in order for her students to succeed. She truly is dedicated to the success of her students (which is hard to come by). Actually enjoyed her lectures very much. I hope she see's this so that she knows how much she's appreciated.

As long you watch her videos and solve the math problems, you should do well with the unit quizzes, exams, worksheets, and projects. I enjoy this class so much as I learn a lot and I do recommend a group study so you can help a classmate out, she is very nice when she responds to emails and she is the only professor who teaches PSYCH 2. Awesome!

She provides her own guided notes for every module, and grades pretty quickly. Extra credit is offered after each module is completed, and the final exam is extra credit as well. Just watch the videos and you should be able to pass. Can be a bit slow when responding to emails though.

I took Intro to Psych Statistics with her. Melissa was my favorite professor to-date! There are weekly lectures ranging and each unit has guided notes to accompany. She offered extra credit every unit and it really helps! I ended the class with 103% and it felt like a breeze! As long as you do your work and put some effort in you will do great.

listen, if math is not your strong suit and you need a math class, take psych 2 with dr neal. this class is so intriguing and the lectures are amazing and she gives you all the information you need to succeed in this class.

AMAZING TEACHER! I don't typically enjoy math because I'm a slower learner but Prof. Neal is super understanding and helpful! Her lectures give you step-by-step instructions on how to do the problem and she repeats it at least 3x so that you understand it. She has amazing humor so it makes her lectures very fun to watch. Definitely ALOT of work. Nearly 20 assignments a week. If you watch every video, she really goes step to step, and goes over it with a couple examples to make sure you really understand it. Does provide extra credit every week, AND there's an OPTIONAL extra credit exam. Doesn't really respond to emails, but wouldn't mind taking it again.

She doesn't really check every step in the projects or the alternative extra credit assignments. I didn't even do all the parts yet still got full credit! Do as you will with that information

I was so scared to take math in college. I had not taken math since high school, which was about 20 years ago. Professor Neal was so thorough in explaining every step to the formulas. She created step-by-step videos that are extremely helpful as well! It was such a relief to hear that you can use your notes on tests. So take good notes! 10/10

Dr. Neals lectures are one of the most cleared lectures. Not only does she us how to solve problems step by step, but she'll still use different type of problems to help you solve the question. She offers a lot of extra credit every week we have an exam. Her optional games help a lot for the exams especially with the vocabulary we use.

I don't know where to start with Prof. Neal. I decided to do it online. I was so scared to take a math class, nonetheless a statistics class, but Prof. Neal made everything easy to understand. Her lectures are so engaging, and her due dates are every Sunday at 11:59 pm which is so convent. I 100% would recommend it!!!
