loved this class. take home tests. learned a lot
Not too hard, good interesting teacher
nice, but tests are hard
fantastic teacher, test are a little hard but not too bad, it's worth it though!
Few HW's and 3 tests, gives days off, must take notes

Keeps it intresting and down to earth. bonus= she is hot
Very easy to get office hours, even easier on the eyes, GO TO CLASS
very nice teacher...explains things well..take her for any class
Damn she is hot and her course is sooo easy.

Difficult class and exams, but overall a great teacher.
damn hot and damn easy...i still got a C....but i was a slacker
Easy class, very clear, DEFINITELY take. Very cool and laid back!
Great teacher, one of the best I've had at Towson.
Awesome. She is young and can relate with class. Assignments and tests aren't too bad. Take her.
This is not an easy class, but one of the best I have taken. One of the best teachers I have ever had! She will take the time outside of class with you and help in anyway she can. Take this class if you don't mind doing some work for an A.
Awesome, vibrant teacher, She is a professor that actually wants her students to pass. Very Down to earth and understanding. Exams are pretty rough and there is alot of work to be done in her class. (online/BIG problem sets).
Very good teacher - always willing to help - easy to reach - responds quickly to e-mails
So knowledgeable about macroeconomics!!! Made a very difficult class easier because she is so helpful and very fair. The class and tests are hard, but if you study for them, you'll do fine. She's very laid-back and funny. If you need Econ, take her!
GREAT teacher! Very helpful outside of class. Best if you take econ 201 first. Test question match review sheet so stop being lazy and do the homework!
Awesome teacher. Energetic and very knowledgable. Really reasonable w/work expectations, 5 problem sets but only counts your best 4, online quizzes based on how many you complete and not how well you do. Really clear, one of the best teachers at Towson.
Excellent prof! Really knows her stuff, is willing to take any amount of time to explain hard-to-understand material if you go to her office hours or make an appt. Not an easy 'A', but if you do the problem sets and come to class you'll have no problems.
She is a pretty good teacher, but can sometimes move too fast trying to cover a lot in every class.
Nice Teacher...Fair Grading Policy...Made Class Interesting!
GREAT TEACHER! Very nice and helpful. Take her is you can.
What a hot looking professor. And I am a married woman. Oh my. But she really is a good professor. I wish she also taught home economics.
Awesome Teacher!
awesome lady. Make sure you show up for class. One of those people who is based on respect if you give her even the slightest inkling that you care, class will be much easier for youIf your an**** anddont care about ur grades and dont show up for class than i highly suggest not taking this pro.
She is very knowledgeable and interesting. At 9:30am I could still usually stay awake. Lot's of practice and she makes sure you understand. She also plays games.
great teacher! want to make her my advisor now after taking macro. Really knowledgable, great job of explaining and just all around great person!
she is an amazing teacher. Explains things so well!
great teacher, very helpful. you HAVE to go to class though to understand the work. 3 exams, 5 problem sets and drops lowest problem set grade. difficult class but she explains everything well and has a great knowledge of the subject.
melissa is the best (take howard baejter too) knows her stuff- very helpful. makes time for students. will explain it to you up to the last minute before the test.i semi studied, finished with a b minus (damn the +/- grading system..grrrr) take her she is soooo good. i still keep her as my advisior.
the best teacher i have had yet in towson. not only does she know her material she knows how to teach it. go to class and everything will be crystal clear. tests are not that bad, grading policy is great. and she actually gets to know you during the semester as well. TAKE HER!
shes a great teacher... very thorough, very personable... she creates a great environment in the classroom... class can get hard if u dont keep up and pay attention to lectures
Dr. Groves is extremely down to earth and truly interested in her students and the topic. She will do whatever it takes to help you. Def. one of the best econ professors i've had!
IF YOU DID NOT DO ECON IN HIGH SCHOOL YOU WILL HAVE A TOUGH TIME IN THIS CLASS. VERY DETAILED AND PUTS NOTES FOR CLASS ON THE INTERNET BEFORE HAND, BARELY HAD TO WRITE ANYTHING. REVIEW SHEETS ON INTERNET TOO FOR ALL TEST. DO WELL ON TESTS AND PAPER AND U R GOLDEN. SHES PRETTY HOT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
VERY NICE AND EASY. GIVES YOU NOTES. DO THE PROBLEM SETS AND YOU WILL BE FINE. I HATED ECON 201 BUT LOVED ECON 202 BECAUSE OF HER.
The material is HARD no matter who you take this class with. I would recommend taking it with her tho b/c she is really good at explaining things and helps you understand. For the tests she gives u review probs that are almost identical to the test questions. I definitely recommend going to class.
She does a GREAT job explaining the material. I had not taken stats in 3 years and she helped me to catch up. She's real cool using interesting examples and can relate to the students. DEFINETLY take her!!!!!!!
You will learn a lot in this class. One of the best teachers in the econ department. Her exams are pretty hard but she is a really good teacher and will give you all the help you need if you ask. Take her class if you get the chance.
Best teacher I ever had. Goes over everything thoroughly and gives numerous examples so you can understand everything. Gives problem sets directly related to material your currently on which really helps with tests, nothing unexpected. The material isn't the easiest but she makes it very easy to learn. Great & funny person. Good GenEd class.
Simply, excellent. Micro has alot to take in, but she breaks it down into understandable parts. She keeps you well updated with your grade and her problem sets and reviews are just like what you can expect on the test. FAIR. My only complaint would be the aplia website you have to sign up for for hw. 30 bucks is alot on top of book costs!
One of the best professors I've ever had. Explains the material well and actually makes it interesting. Her tests can be hard but she never asks anything that wasn't gone over in class. Definatley recommend taking her, just remember to do the homework on Aplia.
She must be off her game. New baby. Out for a month in the middle of the semester. Cuts classes short, cancelled 4 classes so far, lets class go early. This is a prof. with something else on her mind. She could be great, but not now.
This wacko who wrote before me said something about her being out and canceling 4 classes.Uh yeah for surgery you ***hole.Plus she had other prof. fill in.Anyway this is 1 of the greatest prof. that I've had so far.Econ can be hard so go to class and just pay attention. It's that simple.Prof. Groves makes it very easy to understand.Just do the work
One of the best econ teachers I've had so far. She does everything she can to help you. She goes pretty fast through the powerpoints, but she is willing to stop and answer any questions. I definitely recommend taking her.
Prof Groves was an excellent teacher. I didn't know anything about economics before going into the class and did pretty well in it. Follow along in lecture and do the problems she assigns and you'll definately pull off at least a B.
Tough class. Shes a great teacher and knows the stuff. Nice lady. I failed but thats because I didn't go and didn't do any work, because I'm an idiot. If you put the time in, you'll pull a B.
Lots of graphs and she explains it so it's easy to understand. Go to class and take her graphs down cause they're on the test. She's nice and nice lookin' too.
Professor Groves puts a great deal of of thought into how she presents the material.5 problem sets force you to study and prepare you for tests (3).2 projects help you to see how much you understand. Don't be a slacker and you can get at least a B+. Besides for 306 I dont think you can do better than Professor Groves..well..maybe Matt Chambers.
very easy to follow course. some basic math calculations. very intuitive course with graphs and shifts. good teacher and fairly easy exams. your in class problems are very similar to exam questions. there are some homeworks and you have to read alot of articles. but overall, not a bad course.
Best Econ class at Towson. Dr. Groves made this class unbelievably interesting and I'm sad that it's over. Uses powerpoints, gives reviews that tell you every question that will be on tests...no other word than GREAT.
I suck at stats. Second time taking it. She's a solid professor and she knows her subject. DO NOT rely on the powerpoints, they don't help at all by themselves. If you want to do well you HAVE to go to class and take notes with the ppts. I was a regular at her office hours and she's extremely helpful.
Excellent professor. Always willing to help and she is so friendly. If you have take stat 2, take her. A +++
very helpful. 3 tests 5 hmwks only counts 3 of them and 2 small projects. its a lot of work but she trys to make it as easy as possible.attend class and seek help and you will pass. much better then your other options. take her or porterfield.
Great teacher, really learned a lot in the class, have heard horror stories about other micro classes but she made it pretty simple and was very clear
This professor is probably this best teacher I have had in all my econ classes at towson university. Amazing
Such a sweet woman! I had her for micro and she's now my BUAD minor advisor. She does everything she can to help you. you have to be an idiot to fail her course. Take her!!!!
TAKE HER! She is the best. SO helpful. Her door is always open to tutor or help with the hws. She is very understandable and flexible. The material is easy and really interesting. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS PROFFESSOR!
She is so nice and helpful. The material is a little hard but she does everything she can to make sure you do well. I would take her again and again!
BEST TEACHER AT TOWSON. She is ALWAYS around for help, just when you need her most (Test or Project). Hard class in general but makes it interesting and although class is not mandatory its recommended. 4 tests like the review sheet 5 problem sets and a project. A lot of work but you learn a lot. TAKE HER if u havent done so yet
Great teacher. Clear, concise, intelligent and helpful. Won't count attendance, but you really should go if you want a decent grade. Great educational experience. I'd take her again in a heartbeat.
Mrs Groves is a good teacher. She uses online homeworks but you get three attempts per question, so that is an easy A on that. She gives a study guide out for each test. The final was a bit harder than the rest of the tests for some reason. But I still got a B
GREAT TEACHER. I was nervous about taking microeconomics and she made it interesting and fun with real world situations. Online homework is extremely easy and you do NOT have to purchase her textbook.
Could not love her more! She's funny, so helpful, and makes everything easy to understand. 3 exams, 3 prob. sets, and 2 group presentations. This class is not hard if you go and do the assns. She grades everything so fast, is willing to help you with anything, and is just simply delightful. Going to miss her!
She's a really nice teacher and tries to make the class interesting, but I did receive a C on my second exam which I studied extremely hard for. She only made it 30 questions which is nothing. Could teach the material a bit better and be more clear, not bad though.
I had no prior knowledge about Microecon. before taking this class. The tests are pretty difficult, but she really goes to great lengths to prepare students for the exams including offering office hours and practice exams. Her classes are interesting, and she does a good job teaching the material.
Groves is pretty easy. she gives online homeworks that are worth a high percentage of ur grade and there extremely easy so it helps out cuz her tests are only 30 questions and fair but sometimes has hard questions but u can get most of them from studying the book in comparison to her powerpoints
Extremely helpful and knowledgable in her field! Very capable of educating. Enjoyed this class.
Great professor. Really worth attending all classes as Dr Groves can explain the principles of econ to a layman.
Great Professor. She will always help you if you need it. Gives study guides prior to exams. She loves teaching and is also willing to help you if you want to pursue economics after graduating. Just go to class, pay attention, and do your work and you WILL get an A. Best professor at Towson IMO
Lectures can be boring at times, but take notes and study both her powerpoints AND the book. Her exams are not easy, but you can get by with an A if you study well enough.
Excellent teacher, really informant and active, its really up to you to show up but I advise you to do so if you want to pass.
Professor Groves is direct, odd, kind of an interesting lady. She tells you EXACTLY what's on the test; however, there are some curve balls. But, she is very fair, and cooperative. Her lectures are boring, she reads directly from the power point but, it's sortah helpful to go to class Very organized and easy to follow. overall good experience.
Take Econ201 and Econ202 with her! She is seriously so helpful. You don't really need the textbook as long as you go to class and take great notes. Se gives you a practice test that is just like the real test! You'll learn a lot taking any class with her.
I took Professor Groves for both Econ 201 and 202. She is a very sweet lady, and I had no trouble with Econ 201. Her test were exactly like the review sheet and I rarely went to class, and still got an A. That's why I took her Econ 202 class, but it wasn't as easy. Went to every class and got an A-.
She is beyond easy. Class is not mandatory. I show up maybe once before an exam and still make A's, because her practice exams are nearly identical to the real exam, with the exception of a few curveballs. That being said, only going over the practice exam won't help. I do make a study guide on my own time just to prepare me just in case. Take her
She is great, very knowledgeable, is entertaining, and uses real world examples in class. Online homework is an easy A, tests are very similar to study guides. Econ is hard subject but she makes it easy to understand! Def recommend!
This is a good instructor. Make sure you understand the subject.Easy on home works and quizes. gives you exam study guide and that guides you through the exams.she is old school without hazzles on student. attend class,do home works/quizzes, read exam reviews equal to cool "A". Do not miss to take her class.
Fantasy of learning. A very easy teacher does not equal good teacher. Actually got me disinterested in economics because class was so dull with nothing but power points. The study guides are the test. A real way to tell if you are actually learning is how you do on the online homework.
She was amazing! I took her my freshman year transitioning from high school level work to college and it wasn't a bad transition at all! She's very clear and consistent in what she expects. Go to class and participate and you will pass.
Professor Groves is amazing! She is the nicest professor I've had at Towson! She really cares about all her students and her class is a joy. There are two tests, one paper, 15 short journals, and a final. All the work is doable, and she is an extremely generous grader. Lectures are interesting and I actually wanted to go to class!
Probably my favorite professor I have had at Towson. Has an awesome personality and makes the lectures entertaining. As long as you go over the study guides thoroughly, you should have no problem getting at least a B on her tests. Would highly recommend taking her!
She really helped me out. I took her for my third time taking ECON 201 and she was the best of the three professors. With Dr Groves I felt myself learning each time and my test scores gradually got higher each time . If you do the online quizzes and homework and look over study guides, an A is very attainable. I highly recommend her.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. practice tests(25 questions) are the EXACT same questions she puts on the test LOL actual tests were 50 questions. def have to study for this class though. I love her teaching style, she applies econ to the real world and gives fun examples to help you grasp the concepts. she is always in a great mood and very approachable.
HINT: DO THE APLIA ADAPTIVE TEST PREPS FOR EACH CHAPTER. HER TESTS ARE THE EXACT SAME QUESTIONS FROM THEM .
For those who aren't a huge fun of economics (like me), Prof. Groves definitely helps me a lot to understand! Although APLIA homework can be a pain to do almost every weeks, those will really help you to understand (don't do it at last minutes)! And you can easily study for exams through powerpoint slides/notes.
I look forward to this class! Economics generally isn't very exciting to me. After having experience in this course, I knew what to expect from it. Groves made it easy to learn, easy to get excited, and easy to pass! Stay awesome!!! :)
I love Professor Groves! She had saved my butt this semester with this being a difficult class to begin with. I'm not the best test taker and when I went to meet with her she was very helpful with showing me what I did wrong and what I could do next to imporve my test scores. I cam out with C and was really happy. Shes great and I reccomend her!
My favorite professor this semester! I find econ super interesting, I loved going to her class and time flew by. A lot of politics involved in econ but she's as objective as possible. She's real with you and also tells funny stories about her personal life. Aplia hw can be hard but if you ask her after class she will help you and explain clearly!
Make sure you keep up with the Aplia homework due every Friday night (about 25% of your grade), and do well on the tests (3 that are each worth about 25% of your grade each) and you should be fine. Great teacher.
Took her class online. I found the material very challenging, but she was very lenient on giving extensions if I needed them. Expect weekly homework and 3-4 very long exams (all multiple choice).
Class participation isn't mandatory, but I recommend going and paying attention. There is a lot of back and forth feedback throughout the class. Prof Groves will sometimes talk on tangents though. Nevertheless, it was an engaging and enlightening class. Be prepared for online homework and a couple papers.
She is a great great great professor. Easley my favorite. She wants you to succeed so she will help you all she can. She gives you everything you need to prepare for the test. She makes the class interesting. Awesome professor
I think I will pass her online class this minimester.
Great professor in the Economics department here at towson. Professor Groves is a trulely compassionate and wonderful women, mothee, and teacher. Truely a wonderful professor. Take her she is the best Professor I've ever had.
This online class was the hardest class I have ever taken. Online assignments take hours to do because the questions are so difficult. DO NOT TAKE!! My 3.6 gpa will be hurting after this class I hope I can just pass it for the credits. Worst experience I've had with an online class. Be ready to not only pay tuition but another $140 for book online
Amazing teacher, does a really good job in explaining the parts of Economics in easy terms. Print out powerpoint before class and take notes on that and it will be a lot easier. Go to class and pay attention and you'll have no problem passing. Practice tests are very close to actual tests to make sure you study those and your notes before the test.
Can't say enough about Dr. Groves. She made an already interesting class even more enjoyable. Your grade is based on three exams, three Blackboard discussions, a short engagement paper, a relatively short term paper, and a quick presentation on that paper. Everything is straightforward, and she's always willing to help if needed. Take her class!
Great professor. Tests require a lot of writing. She is very understanding if you miss an assignment. 3 tests, 2 papers and 3 discussions determine your grade. Definitely take her!
She is a great professor. Her way of teaching is amazing, you will end up knowing everything without even studying. She gives helpful examples instead of throwing the information at your face. Her practice exams are very helpful for the exam.. she is just the best. I am glad she was my professor for econ this semester. she will HELP you
Amazing professor. Classes arent mandatory and really wants you to do well in her class. Two extra credit (course evaluation, & game in class) Homework every friday but its super easy and drops the 2 lowest will even open them up at the end of the semester if you forgot to do any. 3 exams, final isn't cumulative. I barely went & still got a B-
Professor Groves was awesome! This class is very interesting and gives you a break from all math based econ classes. 3 tests, 3 online discussions, 1 paper and 1 book. Tests are mostly essay and statistics. Attendance is not mandatory but go to class to get specific numbers that WILL be on the tests. Definitely recommend for an econ elective!
She is the best! She makes econ interesting. I found that even when I was struggling towards the beginning of the semester, I went to her for help and ended up finishing the class with an A. She is a really cool lady and cares about what she's teaching
Three Homeworks a week 2 for completion one graded with multiple attempts. 3 exams she gives practice exams that are exactly like the test gives PowerPoint notes honestly the homework really just benefits you. great teacher knows how to explain things well doesnt just read the slides goes over and beyond.
Professor Groves is the best! She not only really knows micro, but she makes it so interesting. I always came to class, fascinated to learn more. There are 4 exams in this class and you get a ton of homework, but it prepares you well for the exams along with practice materials. Overall, she cares a lot about students so do take her!
3 exams, weekly aplia hws, no class on fridays just discussions. Micro has so much info and she tries to make it as easy as possible. Also her A is 94%. Difficult but she is hilarious and really wants all her students to be more informed consumers.
Professor Groves is amazing and engages students fairly well. Class attendance is not required but recommended as her lectures are clear and unique, in addition to building knowledge on the material. Online homework is helpful unlike other classes. IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TAKE PROFESSOR GROVES!!!
Professor Groves is an amazing teacher. She makes her lectures interesting and although attendance is not required, going to class is crucial. Take good notes and do the practice exams & homework and you will do fine.
Professor Groves is great. You don't even have to show up because she doesn't take attendance but unless you're good at economics and can learn from just the book, I recommend going. No class on Fridays, just a short online assignment. If you want to pass the tests, don't study your notes. Take the online practice test over and over.
Don't take notes, go to quizlet & search jaleeparker, it's a user. Scroll down and use the Micro chapter sets to study for the test. Psh you'll get an easy B. Aplias are way too hard...
Groves is a GREAT professor. Very passionate about the subject and very knowledgable. Homework is all online and due on Friday of each week. Follows the syllabus schedule very closely and Friday classes are online. She is very understanding about things in life coming up and lectures aren't horrible because she is very energetic. Would take again!
One of the best Econ profs I've had. Lectures are amazing and not boring. Slides are helpful when studying for exams, and she provides an in-depth study guide for them. 3 papers, online discussions, and problem sets can bring up your grade if you aren't good at exams. Shes very fair, only reason you can't get a good grade is your own fault honestly
Prof. Groves is amazing. Take her if you can; she's very considerate to her students and makes sure you understand the material. Show her some effort and she'll take care of you.
Groves wants you to succeed and gives you all the tools to do so. I am not an econ major and she is great at breaking concepts down. Uses an online textbooks that is easy to use and access, and is very caring about her students! If you take the hybrid course you get most Friday's off and have a small assignment. Drops some low grades!
Professor Groves uses real examples to describe economics, which makes the class more interesting and relevant. The aplia, practice tests, and the chapter tests, help to review material. Some test questions are directly from the review. You definitely have to study to get an A, but Groves does a great job explaining things in class.
Her class is all lectures but she presents it in a very compelling manner that keeps your attention. While she doesn't make attendance mandatory it is very helpful to come to class and take notes and ask questions. All weekly homeworks are online, she has online discussions each week which are easy and 4 in class exams including the final.
Groves is an amazing teacher but the material is a little tricky. The second you fall behind, you're in a hole. tests are cumulative but a lot of online assignments can even out your grade. She is very understanding, you just need to speak up! Definitely recommend!PowerPoints are posted online but she explains things very well, so show up to class!
Dr. Groves is the best! She really cares about her class and it shows. I wish all college professors are like her! Labor Economics is a hard class, yet she's always willing to help. I was wayyy behind in the beginning of the semester because of work, but Dr. Groves made sure that I get caught up to speed. For that, I'm so grateful.
She is a very nice and caring professor. I was nervous about microeconomics because when I took macro I thought it would be so easy from high school experience, but that was definitely humbling. This class I took a lot more serious and it was very helpful that she is an amazing teacher and actually makes economics very fun and realistic.
Prof. Groves is so nice! She is very clear with what she wants and she uses real world examples when she does her lectures. She doesn't just read off the slides.
Absolutely love this teacher. She was so easy to learn from. Wish I could take her again for macro
10/10 recommend. Econ can be hectic at times b/c theres a lot to learn but she will help u stay on track. Weekly assignments consist of pre lecture questions due every monday, end of chapter questions due every friday as well as a virtual assignment-typically discussion due every friday. attendance is taken for 1pt each day, go u will learn a lot
She's amazing at explaining things, very kind, easy assignments. I got a C, but it was my own fault because I forget to do my homework all the time.
The material can be a bit confusing but she explains it well and uses realistic examples. Don't be shy to ask her questions, she gives great feedback to make sure you understand what's going on. We used a platform called TopHat which was very easy to use for exams, textbook, and pre-lecture questions. Just do your best not to fall behind n ur good.
She really cares about her students and its a fantastic professor. Certainly take this professor if possible!
BEST PROFESSOR EVER!! TAKE HER. The class is on tophat and is super organized. the work is not time consuming and as long as you pay attention in class and take notes and do your hw, your good! she really is a true gem, she is so nice and doesn't just read of the slides, she will make sure everyone understands before she moves on. you won't regret!
I loved Prof. Groves. She was an awesome teacher, caring and understanding. Easy to fall behind so keep up with homework and assignments. Total of 3 exams, not hard. Overall really great and I hope to have her again in the future for other econ classes
She is very caring, my favorite teacher so far. She always understands if you have something going on. Econ is a lot of memorizing so Id say its more of a B or C class possibly an A. The assignments are easy but the exams can be difficult if you dont do a good amount of studying. Study for this class
groves is such a sweet and caring professor. she met with me countless times and worked through problems with me and gave me practice tests. she let me take exams in her office to help with focusing issues and was overall such a caring person. she genuinely wants her students to succeed and will support you however she can. take her if you can!!!!!
Professor Groves is one of the best professor's that I have ever had at Towson. An amazing woman who cares for her students. Very clear grading and easy content to grasp. Would take this class over again if I could! If you're reading this - it's your sign to add this class :) You'll love it & do amazing!
Professor Groves was great! Econ isn't the easiest subject, but she made it a lot easier. She was very helpful and always available if you needed extra help. We were hybrid, with discussions for our virtual days instead of zoom class which was super nice. If you are gonna take any economics course, I HIGHLY recommend taking it with her.
I am a freshman and had to take Econ 201 as it is required for my major, Professor Groves is by far the most friendliest and the most understanding professor I have ever seen. Econ is hard, but if you actually put in effort, you will pass with flying colors. I would 100% recommend her to anyone taking Econ 201.
One of my favorite ECON professors - shes so nice and her lectures are easy to follow. If you ever need help at all shes easy to get in touch with and really understanding.
I have a hard time with econ, but she's very understanding and works to help you understand. She's also really passionate about the material which makes class so much better. If you struggle with econ I highly recommend taking this course with her.
She is easily the best business professor I will ever have. She is the sweetest human ever, and makes the lectures fun and easy to understand. Attendance is not mandatory but you will do much better if you go. If you need to take micro or any class that Dr. Groves teaches, take her. I am not exaggerating, she is the best.
Professor Groves has easily been one of the best professors I have had this year. Her grading criteria is super clear as well as her information on homework, test, and quizzes. She is super caring and you can tell she is passionate about what she is teaching.I have never been afraid to come to her with a issue or problem. DO THE TOP HAT ASSIGNMENTS
Professor Groves was an amazing and caring professor. Assignments were easy but something was due just about every class (set reminders to meet due dates), exams were all multiple choice, and did great with real life references during lectures.
She's the best and most understanding professor ever! Whenever I went to talk to her about my grade or exam questions she was always helpful. If you are nervous about any exams go to her and she will help you find a study plan that works best for you. Super accessible outside of class.
She is a very good and interactive teacher. The material she teaches is pretty hard, but she does a decent job explaining it. 3 homeworks every week, but they are fairly easy. Doesn't curve exams, which sucks, but the homeworks are worth a lot of points, so if you do well on the homeworks and decent on the exams, you will pass fairly easy.
Professor Groves is very nice and accommodating. Although the material is very hard to grasp, she gives many assignments for you to still get a good grade. Definitely attend class to understand the material. The test can be tricky so definitely study.
Best Econ professor of all time, it is a little work but you won't spend more than 45 a day max.
Attendance wasn't mandatory. Pre-lecture questions due at the beginning of the week and post lecture questions at the end, only a couple discussions. Tests were in person with most multiple choice and a couple short answer questions. Pre-tests were given online highly recommend doing test questions were VERY similar. Uses top-hat which is like $35.
Easy class, lectures are clear, she's understanding, and accommodates test makeups.
Phenomenal professor. Thoroughly explains everything, great personality, always willing to help you out. Reading the textbook really made the class much easier, but her lectures are very good. Highly recommend.
She was an absolute W professor, always down to give actual feedback to people who asked, slowly explained concepts for anyone who asked mid-lecture, and was overall kind, and most of the test questions are just the review test questions, just do those and ur set for the exams.
Professor Groves was amazing, and I don't think my grade was her fault... I just didn't really understand and grasp the topic because it was a lot. You will have pre lecture questions, end of chapter questions, and discussion posts to complete each week online, and 4 exams, which she drops your lowest graded one.
