Ms. Presch really knows her stuff. She goes really fast, so be sure to keep up w/ your reading and understanding of the material. And I'm not sure how her grading system works since my final grade didn't reflect the grading system in her syllabus - but it worked out in my favor. She'll also give a lot of opportunities for extra credit.

physio is NOT an easy class, period. BUT, melissa presch makes it understandable and interesting. look, if your looking for an easy A, its not going to happen here. but if your looking for a professor who does her job well, this is who you should take this with. and shes hot, too.....

Super good lookin, super smart woman who really knows her stuff. The type and amount of stuff that needs to be covered is done well and with energy. No HW, no EC, few tests which are mulitple choice and diagram... study guide is long and tests wont follow it to a T. VERY tough class, pass it and u know you accomplished something...

Her tests are PURELY from her lectures, no textbook. study guide too broad. She is always in her office if you need her, she won't reply to emails. Let's you out of lab early but has to talk fast in lecture to cover all the material. Overall good teacher. DEFINITELY not an easy A.

She is soooo easy! tests are lecture only! no stupid textbook or online research or whatever. doesn't really respond quickly to emails but always in office hours. very clear. LOVE HER BOOTS!:]

She is a really good teacher, she is tough,but anat is a tough subject to begin with. Her study guides are helpful but she makes you learn everything and tests you on only half of what you studied.she is super helpful and does her best to make sure you understand the material. everything is memorization so just make sure not to slack off

Presch is a great teacher. I ask A LOT of questions and she was willing/ready to answer ALL of them with NO hesitation. She is very thorough with her information, and therefore there is no need for a text book, actually she doesnt even reccommend one. If you show interest in the class and participate a decent grade is attainable. ~Peppa~

I took Melissa for Anatomy and Physiology. She gives lots of extra credit. Midterms are strictly from the notes. Finals are strictly from the midterms. Everyone says she's mean because she won't accept students who don't pass the first quiz for each class but if you don't pass it, the class WILL be hard. She's doing you a favor.

Presch is a very good teacher as long as the student is keeping up with the material. Her exams are straight from her lecture slides so if you study the notes & review the drawings you'll pass. Lab is very easy as well. If you ask a question she will tell you the answer. She offers plenty of extra credit. It was my favorite class this semester.

No matter Who you take, the class is going to be hard. Presch is great in lecture, if you show, actually pay attention, and study, you'll do great. She offers EC which really helps. Take notes during lecture, she does emphasize what to expect on exam. She may seem unapproachable, but if you have questions just ask, She'll know the answer! (:

She answers every question asked of her. If you're too afraid to ask questions, she's not going to hold your hand. She's genuine and no-nonsense. If you're a serious student then you'll love her. The subject is hard but she'll prepare you for the next level.

Presch is basically the epitome of a professor. Yes,she is extremely thorough but is always there to clarify any questions. This is what you want if you a preparing yourself for a degree in the sciences. Plan for the time to attend lecture/lab, to study and attend the open lab sessions prior to each exam you should have no issue attaining that A.

Professor Presch is awesome. She totally knows her stuff, is very clear about what her expectations are but she won't hold your hand. She is tough, but you will learn a lot and you will be prepared for your professional school courses. And, she has a killer sense of fashion! I had her for Anatomy and Physiology. Take her if you want to learn a lot.

She is smart, she is clear, she is helpful, she is funny. I wish more teachers were like her!

She is a tough grader but fair. She is also very helpful and approachable despite her stern appearance. She goes out of her way to answer questions and make concepts as clear as she can. She's very knowledgeable. If you do not like to study or expect professors to walk you through the class, though, she's not the professor to take. Good luck!

Presch has clear expectations and tells you everything you need to know to pass the class. She can be intimidating but will help you if you ask questions, etc. The class requires a lot of memorization but it's all pretty straightforward and you get plenty of practice in lab. Study hard and you'll pass with an A.

Presch is pretty awesome, she is straightforward when it comes to grading and she tells you from the beginning that anat 35 is all about memorization. If you ask questions she will give you answers. If a test is coming up, as i mentioned, ask, ask,ask! She will get detailed about what is going to be on the test.Great teacher, very serious but great

She is a very straightforward teacher and clearly tells you what she expects. If you study everyday for at least 5 hours on what she lectured on and went over that day, you will get an A no matter what! Just don't procrastinate in this class. That will be your enemy. And Just ask a lot of questions if you don't understand something.. Presch=helpful

Pro: very clear on what you should do. CON: she expects you to know all the stuff.. like... she would go over the cat parts with you in lab once and would expect you to know it all the first time.. she gets kind of mad when you ask her again... was kind of intimidated to ask questions during lab but not for lecture.

This professor was clear in the beginning of the class telling us we needed to focus on her class 100%. Her power points are boring, her labs are basically show you once do it yourself till you ask for more help. All the stuff you NEED to know is crazy. Take her if you're mentally prepare to give all you're attention to this class.

Overall, if you are the average student this is not the class to take. She tells you what you need to do in order to get an A, but she requires a TON of stuff to remember. There are better ANAT 35 Profs. The worse part was lab the whole time she was on her computer and texting, no help to me at all.

Hands down, one of THE best professors at this school. She knows what she's talking about and she is straightforward. Soaking in her lectures are KEY - exams are entirely based on her slides. She may seem intimidating at first, but she is super helpful if you take the time to ask her. There is no extra credit - your grade depends entirely on you!

Want to get an "easy A", find a different prof. Want to actually learn and be able to apply that knowledge in graduate school, life, etc? Then take Presch. Her class is hard, but absolutely worth it. She also is much nicerlax with her Anat 36 classes. There is a required textbook that isn't used at all in class, but relevant for grad programs.

What an Anatomy professor should be! This class is NOT easy but you will learn a ton. Memorization is HUGE for practicums. Lecture tests are from powerpoints. Don't be afraid of the other reviews. You're in college, expect to work hard for this class and it will pay off. Find a study group, ask questions and she will help you. I ended up with an A.

Melissa Presch is an asset to the students and campus; she is not only knowledgeable but was helpful and explained the material clearly. Attendance is mandatory, exams are multiple choice and free response, diagrams need to be in color. She is an university level professor that prepares you for your future programs and a career in healthcare.

so I've never had any desire to actually rate a professor until I had Presch. This class was really interesting and hard all at the same time. She is very straight forward as to what she wants you to know and what is going to be on the test. The lectures can be dry and boring but if you take the time you will be fine. Don't slack study hard!

Honestly, Professor Presch is a great professor who knows her stuff. She is tough BUT SHE WILL PREPARE YOU FOR YOUR MED PROGRAMS. I took anat 36 and I worked hard for my A. No study guides, you have to know everything on the powerpoints and her lectures. After taking her class, I feel even more prepared and Im glad I didnt choose an easy professor

Prof Presch is great & knows her stuff. I learned so much in a short, winter term course. Listen to her in lecture, as she tends to repeat what's important. We had to complete coloring packets (tedious, wasn't that helpful) & draw diagrams in color. Not an easy A, but doable. If you're a visual learner like me & want to learn, then take her class!

In lecture she gives a lot of unnecessary information, but lecture exams are extremely easy if you just study the powerpoints and diagrams. Lab is packed with a lot of memorization, but expect that in all anatomy courses. Worst part of this class is coloring diagrams; extremely tedious and pointless.

Not gonna lie, out of all profs Ive taken, shes the icing on the cake when it comes to HW. I knew her class would be hard given the ratings, but doing all the HW can really help ur grade. Exams are based on the master lists she hands out. Few quizzes. Asked her once or twice for help & she did, so I would say shes considerate towards students.

This class was very difficult. BUT if you show up and ask for help she will go above and beyond. Professor even zoomed with a group of us because we didn't understand certain concepts. STUDY! REPETITION IN LAB WILL SAVE YOU!! Tests are straight forward. HW is heavy and redundant but it helps. She is very knowledgeable and you will learn a lot!

Professor Presch summer physiology class was all independent work. Lectures are prerecorded and up to 2+ hours long. Quizzes (ch tests) are given two days after the lecture. 4 hw assignments a week graded off effort. If you watch lectures and study it's totally doable!

Anatomy lab + lecture both rely heavily on memorization so study! You won't pass her class if you dont put effort in. She offers a little bit of extra credit and she's a good lecturer. In lab you'll be mostly on your own Presch lets you use the time for whatever you want. She doesn't show you where the features are though so you have to use google.

ANAT35 is a hard course lot of content to know don't expect things to be EZ. Most of bad reviews here are from students who took her online. Super informative, straightforward on lecture exams and practicums. Lecture exams are just coloring/labeling 3-4 diagrams and everythn is from PPTs. Practicums req LOTS of memorization and organization skills.

Professor Presch is an amazing anatomy professor. The class is difficult, so be prepared to study. She is very nice and approachable. You're basically on your own during lab so make sure you use your time wisely.

She is an amazing professor who extremely talented at what she does. Be prepared to study&work for your grade! Anatomy is a hard class&it will be hard to learn all of it at first but she is an amazing resource to ask for help and even had old students come help during lab. Lab is all memorization&exams are all from slides. Study, study, study!

6 week course. Truly a great and dedicated professor. I'm sure I learned much more in her class than I would've with other anatomy teachers. Not too much hw. The material isn't difficult, but there is a lot. You have to study often. It's challenging to catch up once you've done poorly on a test, but she makes many practice tests for you.

Presch is an amazing professor and really cares if you ask for help and put in the extra work at other lab times. She offers extra credit on lab exams, but if you do not get full points on a homework packet then you are ineligible for it. This class is no joke and a lot of memorization. You have to study and read the textbook in order to pass.
