No attendance policy. Hard to keep up if u dont go though. Shes an ok teacher. 5 tests, drop the lowest one and the Final was just like a regular test. If youre willing to always go to class and sit through boring lectures and TONS of notes, take this class. Hard tests tho. lots of critical thinking

I think she is a very great teacher her tests come directly from the power point in Human Repo I did not even open the book i just studied the power point and I got in B in 1010 and a A in 1011 i really do recommend this class to other people.

she might seem like a B#*h the first day of class but she is really a damm good teacher, if you actually pay attention in class and take good notes, you will like this class plus she is very helpfull and easy on the eyes, makes is easier to concentrate sometimes

This class is very tough, but she is helpful. if you take good notes in class and use a CD attached to the textbook for comprehension, you will get good grade.

I took this class because I needed it for nursing. Now, don't get me wrong, she is very strict and the class is hard. However, she helps you in any way she can. She explains everything clearly and although the class is boring, the tests come straight from the powerpoints. If you need any help, you can go to her & she will work with you personally.

Prof. Sandrene is a very good teacher. She is willing to help and goes out extra to help you. You do have to put forth some effort to study, but I made an A easy in this class. She doesn't like any slackers so be prepared to come to class and study. Her power points are great and study guides make the tests fairly easy if you study.A+ Professor

I took her for Human Bio of Reproduction. The material was extremely difficult, but I did manage to pass all of the tests with C's and A averages on hw, clicker quizes and all extra credit points, so I made a B. She gave extra credit though she said she wouldn't. I think she owed it to us to do that because of how difficult the tests were.

Those who have said that this class is hard and the tests are hard obviously didn't study.... She is a great teacher and if you go to class, read the book, and pay attention to the power points then there is no way you can do poorly. Ms. Sandrene is an excellent teacher, an she clearly has a passion for biology! Basically if you are someone who doesnt even want to be in college she doesn't like you but if you like being there she will no doubt like you, shes a little hard to approach but if you wanna talk biology she is always there, and she helped me decide to be a BIOL major

If you don't like to study, DON'T take this class. The book was useless. All questions came from study guide and WHAT SHE SAID IN CLASS! Write down EVERYTHING she says and look up powerpoints online if you need to. She's a great teacher, but VERY hard. Do not think you can slack in her class.

Sandrene is tough, but shes very knowledgeable and interesting. Makes witty, sarcastic comments, very funny. Don't have to read the book if you go to class, tests and straight from her powerpoints and class notes, but studying is necessary. Overall, loved her, although she doesn't come off as very approachable.

This class is EXTREMELY hard, wouldn't recommend if you have a heavy load, but if Bio is your main focus Sandrene is an awesome teacher. She gives 4 tests and a final and clicker quizzes. She is very helpful and will answer questions at anytime during the class period. READ THE TEXT BOOK!

She teaches off of powerpoints. You don't have to take the final if you make an A on all your exams. She explains everything well and she is very clear about what she expects. Her tests are multiple choice and normally have bonus questions. She uses the clicker system. It helps buffer your grade. If you attend class, there should be able to get A.

She gets her quiz questions from the study guide. To do well on the tests read the book and take your own notes from it. Her class wasn't too bad but she talks down to her class, which is annoying. If you make a high A on the final though and you are just below an A, she will bump your grade up. She replaces your lowest test grade w/ the final.

Ms. Sandrene's class is not a hard class at all... her tests come right from the powerpoints and if you show up she explains everything and clears up most questions you might have just from her lectures. She can be rude at times but she's an amazing teacher and genuinely knows what she's talking about.

She is a great teacher! There are no hidden secrets though. She also does not "Beat around the bush" when it comes to questions. She is fair and answers questions matter of factly. Loved both Bio 1107/1108. Do the work and you will pass. Also, show up for class, her clicker questions are easy points to add to your grade.

Miss Sandrene has been one of my favorite teachers at West Ga. She explains everything very thoroughly and puts the powerpoints online. You can make a good grade easily as long as you study.

This class was so hard, she teaches way to fast and expects you to remember way to much in between tests. The first day of class she told us half would have to retake it, and also said we would need to study 3 hours everyday out of class! This class was ridiculous!

At the beginning of the year, i thought she was really difficult becoz i did not really do good in her first exams but i kept on talking to hear and i did really good making an A at the end of the semester. overall, she's a really good teacher. she gives student a couple of chances to raise their grades like giving bonus clicker question.

Ms. Sandrene did a great job. She prepared you for all of your tests and even posted the notes on the internet. I hated clicker questions, but they're a good way to pull your grade up. Ended with an A+ and I would take her again!

Awesome, I was a transient from UGA and she was very good. She was fast paced and very insightful, no book needed and hardly an studying either. It might have just been UWG isn't difficult to begin with but she is a great and easy teacher. take the class!

Sandrene is an AMAZING teacher. One of the best biology teachers there. She loves what she does, and she is an eco friendly person. She has a funny sense of humor, at least she doesn't keep it monotone. She might give you a smart a** answer but at least you will get it. GO TO CLASS! Clicker questions WILL add up! Sandrene is an AMAZING teacher. She will help you, she might seem like she is a bit grouchy at times, but she is completely the opposite. She tries to make the class lively with some jokes, and she gives extra credit through clicker questions (which you have to be present to receive) and helps you out at the end. TAKE HER! She is amazing!

I enjoyed this professor and this class! I learned so many interesting and useful things. If you attend class and read over your notes, you should do great in this class! I wish I had not paid to rent the book though because I did not use it.

I came into this class absolutely dreading Sandrene as a teacher but we are half-way through the summer semester and I am loving her! She presents the information in a easily-understandable manner and her tests come straight from her powerpoints. She offers about 3 bonus ?s per test and in-class extra credit too. Professor Hullender(Sandrene) is a great professor, I enjoy and look forward to class! She is extremely passionate and knowledgable.She has a great sense of humor. She is approachable and more than willing to help if you ask. Attendance is important, "clicker" quizes are given daily. Cares about the enviroment.

I would definatly recomend taking her. IF you have her read the book, do the study guid and go through the powerpoints and you have no excuse not to get an A on every test. i-clicker quizes are every day and as long as you show up to every class your grade will more than likely be a 100 for quizes. She is a great teacher TAKE HER!

She was a lot nicer than everyone said she'd be. Over all a really great class. She offered extra credit on most exams so it was possible to make 104%. She's really passionate about the environment so she urges students to recycle and go green and help animals. If you hate animals and the earth, this is not the class for you.
