She is the first the professor I felt like I could actually talk to. I had some personal issues because of covid that did not allow me to submit my assignment on time, and after I gave her proof, she not only allowed me to make up my work, she also took time out of her busy schedule to speak to me just to make sure that I was ok. Taking her again!

I am only here because I told a few of my friends to take this class and they said the professor has a bad rating, which is weird. I don't know why she does, but I want to boost her ratings because I REALLY LIKE HER CLASS! I think because of covid, a lot of people are sensitive and they are taking it out on professors and I don't think it is fair

Honestly, this professor is very good. I watched all her videos and I am doing very well in her class because she explains everything so well. If you do what you are supposed to do, you should not have any problems doing well in her class. Good honest effort produce good results. Poor or Insincere efforts produce poor results.

I learned a lot from this class. I am glad I took her class. Her videos were engaging, which made it easy to pay attention. I worked hard and my hard paid off. I have no complaints.

This class was not difficult for me. I admit that I got lazy at some point during the semester and did not submit a few assignments. But when I did so my work, I did what the professor asked and got good scores. By the way, she only accepts late work if you have a good reason with proof.

Professor Adejare is the best professor I have had so far at CPP. You can tell that she really cares about her job and students' success. My classmates and I are constantly talking to each other about how hard she works for us. She always listens to our concerns, and does whatever she can within the rules to help. I learned so much from her class!

CPP is not an easy a school. The school has really high standards; I have spoken to other Professors about this too, and I feel like it is important for me to say this before my comment. I was part of a debate team in high school, so this class was easy for me. What I like about the professor is how she takes the time to always ask the class how she can help everyone learn the material better. As a senior, I have never seen any professor do this throughout my college years. Take her if you are serious about learning.

I love the way she teaches so much! This is the hardest class I have ever taken because I have anxiety about speaking, but it is also my favorite class ever! If you dont want to do the work, dont take her class. If you are serious about learning, you should take her class because she teach you a lot! She is also very nice.

She always kept the class updated on upcoming assignments, which I like. I also like the fact that the professor always took time to help me with the class assignments whenever I visited her office hours. Sometimes, she would stay past the end of her office hours to make sure that I understood everything.

Amazing professor, She gives the best advice for assignments.

The professor is really energetic with her lectures and even has a survey halfway through the semester so you can provide feedback on the class. All you have to do are outlines and the speech and participate in class. I recommend going to the office hours every once in a while because she's very helpful one on one as well.

This is not an easy A class, but you are going to learn. The professor is going to do everything in her power to help you with your speech, but she is not going to hold your hand. She doesn't just read the PowerPoints but conducts great conversations. Overall, even though it may not seem like it at the beginning, this class is totally worth it.

The only class I actually wanted to attend because of her personality and the way she teaches. Everyone loves her! The only drawback is you actually have to work hard to get an A or B in the class. She gives you back your grade almost instantly and she gives very good feedbacks too!

I took her Public Speaking course this spring semester (2022) and it was my absolute favorite class. You can tell she actually cares about teaching compared to some of the other professors at Cal Poly. It's not the easiest class, however she gives you all the resources you need to succeed and she's very encouraging when it comes to your speeches.

People that say she is a bad professor really didn't put in the work. The class was alot of fun, and she is very personable. Also she is going to quit soon and work for Space X sadly, so take her class while you still can!

She is awesome! I have never had a professor like her! I know they don't pay professors enough, this could not be more true in her case. You can tell that she really cares about her students success. She is the only professor who actually knew the name of all the students in the class. She said, she might try to work for space X. I hope she does.

Professor Adejare is by far my favourite professor! This class is an easy A as long as you put in effort and follow the rubric and structure of the speeches. She provides good examples of what she looks for in each speech and she is extremely helpful during office hours. Her speeches make up most of the grade and the midterm and final is open note.

Take here! Also never miss class! Trust me, your will miss out and regret it if you do. I had so much fun and learned a lot! I love this class.

I loved Professor Adejare! She's very clear on what she wants and she goes above and beyond for her students. Make sure to pay attention to what she wants and use as much material on her Canvas as you can. The outlines are tough to complete sometimes but she will help you in any way she can. Highly recommend.

Professor Adejare was the best possible professor I could've gotten for this class. She was awesome even though this is kind of a hard GE. There were only a few assignments, but you only have 3 major speeches. Since there are only a few, it is important to do well on them and you should spend time practicing. She gives you immediate feedback too!

Ignore any negative responses, those are just students mad they got a low grade (didn't try). She is the best professor at CPP, and I would love to take another class with her. This class is graded fairly, and is easy to get a good grade in if you put in the effort. Easy exams, lots of time to write speeches, frequent workshops. She made class fun.

Professor Adejare is an amazing professor! She really cares about her students and is super supportive. You have to give 4 speeches, and she grades them pretty harshly, but allows you to come to her office hours and she will critique you.

Basic for GE class. Make sure you actually spend time going over your speeches and taking the time to write them because she will know if you don't. Grades super fast, usually right when the speech is going on. If you need help she's there to fix anything even after due date. If you want a professor that is funny but good at her job, take this one

My professor is very kind and funny! Professor Adejare's class is the best I have ever taken! She grades fast, she give many feedbacks! She helps you if you need help with the assignments, her instructions are easy to follow as long as you pay attention, but her grading your assignments is no joke. You can't bullshit your way to an A in her class.

This class with this professor is pretty easy. The professor is very kind and clear on what she expects for you to do in class. She does not assign homework or assign readings, you don't even have to attend class just show up for your day of your speech and you will be fine. The finals are pretty easy as well, you can use the lecture slides.

She is very kind and likes to play the devil's advocate in her lectures, which makes her lectures very enjoyable. Always pay attention in class because she gives a lot of helpful information about the assignments and other things. However, her class is not for everyone. She will warn you to drop the class if you don't like her on the first day.

Professor Adejare is awesome. I missed the deadline for a big assignment(which was my fault) and I thought my grade was toast but she helped me get it back up to an A. Lectures are usually just her talking about her life - but it's entertaining! I hated public speaking but she made me feel comfortable and gave constructive criticism.

I was in her class with other waitlist students for two weeks hoping to add it, but no one drop the class despite the professor telling the students to drop the class if they do not like her or the way she teaches. She is just that good. Her lectures her fun! She uses a lot of funny stories as examples to teach and help understand the materials.

My favorite professor so far. She is very reasonable when it comes to making up missed work.

Honestly the vibe of this class was great, days where it wasn't your speech were really chill and her lectures were always entertaining. On speech days she gives blunt feedback, she will know if you prepared well beforehand so practice a bunch.

Ignore the ratings. They are not accurate. I did the math, and she actually has over five stars. I think there is something wrong with the system. That said, she is the best professor I have ever had at Cal Poly.

100/5, This professor is just that good, her lectures were entertaining that I didn't fall asleep and the presentations are so easy, just try! If you aren't willing to put in work then don't join her class but other than that, this professor is amazing and gives good feedback on how to improve. Would take her class again just for the fun of it.

Good proffessor, gave free stuff to students (mostly food). Gave lots of help on assignments, final was based on the lecture but it was open so it was easy. Only got a B because I was lazy.

I like how straight forward Professor Adejare's class is. She gives lots of feedback before you actually present your speech and right after you are done presenting in class because those are the departments' rules. And I respect her for warning us about this on the first so we can choose to drop her class if we want. She is also very funny!

Very nice professor, If you do the work, watch all the lecture videos, follow all the guidelines, you will be fine. I like that this class is hybrid, so we only had to meet once a week. She does not take attendance.

This class is hybrid, and her grading is fair. Don't take her class if you want an easy A. Also, I like that she gives you full points for outlines even if you mess up on it. She will also let you redo your outline for better presentation points as long as the original submission is before the due date. I like her better than other professors.

I like this hybrid class because I don't have to listen to boring lectures. The lectures are online and the exams are open notes. everything you need to pass this class is online. All you need to do is just show up and present your speech which saved me a lot of time to work on my assignments for my other classes

I am not going to lie. Like most of the students in the class, I was lazy in this class and I had to make up most of my assignments the last two weeks of classes. She deducted 20 percent because I did not have any excuse for being lazy, which I am happy for since I needed to pass this class to graduate. You can't make up the exams though.

She is a super sweet and kind professor and she's easy to talk to about literally anything! Her assignments are easy to do, and you'll do good in the class as long as you get the work done on time. Tests are open notes, and you only need to show up to class the days you will present but I went every class because she's entertaining and funny.

Had very interesting topics discussed which was fun. I HIGHLY recommend going day one for presenting, gives really good info on what to improve on for speeches. Had online lectures/videos which were chill and easy. Had a potluck on final day which was cool.
