Her style of teaching is very clear, but geometry is a difficult subject to tackle. You get 3 tests and one final exam: she will replace the lowest grade you've got with the final exam score. A lot of people got low grades and failed her class, but I st
i dislike her.. she talks too much, should only talk about the lesson plan. she'd rather you consult the book than herself. makes things harder than they really are.. somewhat talks down to students, thinks everyone should "get it"
she is one of the first teachers i took at SAC and i thought she was great. clear and easy. and the test were not hard at all.
She is too hard and dosent expalin well, she dosent care if you understand. She talks too much.

Buy the book, because you will end up teaching yourself.
She is an idiot! She blabs uncontrollably and doesn't make any sense, doesn't explain any of the chapters and assigns HW she isn't even clear on or doesn't seem to know how to do. She is picky, marks you down for everything, unorganized, never has any time to explain & if she does she looks at you like DUH! Awful, I would never take her again.
She is a very good teacher. I don't know why others said that she doesn't explain well. I know she talks a lot, but she always explain clear the problems.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IN THE SUMMER. SHE GIVES TOO MUCH HOMEWORK, SHE TALKS TO DAMN MUCH, AND SHE DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! SHE IS NUTS.
She is a nice lady, but doesn't care if you learn. She squeezes material in at the last minute a day before the final.
She okay i dont remember her being that hard..but then again it was math 50. Not to sure how well shes teaches any other math course.
True this teacher is difficult, but it is due to the level of math she is teaching. Math 61 in the summer can be quite challenging. Prof Summers is willing to stay late to help students understand the material. If you are looking for an easy grade, try a different subject. As a note COLLEGE IS NOT MEANT TO BE EASY!!!!!
I don't know who wrote the below statement, but I just dropped her class. She's not willing to go the extra mile. I made close to 250 notecards and went to the MARC after class each day. I worked hard, but her way of teaching is not for me. She instructs us on what to do, but fails to teach!
terrible class... nice lady but seriously had no concern for her students and wasnt truly helpful. i failed her class.
Mrs. Summer is very hard she gives out two test an a final she gives no review for what might be on the test everything is out of the book basically do your homework in order to pass the class.
Hey you guys! I took her during summer session and got an A. OK, if you want to learn, you know what? STUDY!!! School is not for laz boyz!! Mrs Summers is really helpful. Hint: ASK FOR HELP!
I am not good in math but when i finished her class i passed with a B. She is very helpful and does explain the homework very well and she is very nice. Just pay attention to the lecture notes and you will do great on the test!! Some of the questions on the tests and quizes are based from the lecture notes!!!
I consider myself some what good in math. This Class has to be the hardest math class ive ever had. Way to much homework. Not fun at all. I was expecting a high grade going into the class and ended up with a D. Avoid if possible.

Very hard teacher. Her methods are really bad. If you want to succeed in this class you must do every single problem of your homework and understand it 100%. Shes really bad at lecturing and doesn't care if you don't understand it. Her exams are from problems she has never gone over or ever taught. Avoid if possible.
Very hard teacher. Her methods are really bad.Shes really bad at lecturing and talks way too fast. She does not go over homework at all, unless you go to her office during her hours, and when you do show up she is too busy grading homework to really help you. Her test have nothing to do with the lesson. avoid her trust me.
u have to do the homework. she is a nice person. she just talk very fast.
This is the worst teacher (overall) that I've had in college. She is more worried about which color marker to write on the board with than to teach the student how to learn math. She assumes that everyone has taken math 51B more than once, so she skips very important steps. AVOID HER!!!
one of the worst teachers i've had. she is a nice person but is definitely not detail oriented especially in preparing students for the final. extremely disappointed in her teaching ability. i recommend her to nobody.
horrible. no will to helpout students. exams are pretty much the outcome of your grade. does not go over hw. lectures are boring and fast. very unorganized. NOT recommended! passed with a C+ because i got all full points on my hw and got B and C on my exam and C on final exam. take a different teacher
Uses her own examples and explains things very well before giving examples. The thing I liked about her class, after every test when she would hand back your test or quiz she would give you a little sheet with your grade. You can check if she entered a score wrong, or if you are missing homework. I would love to get her again.
Do not take this class in the summer or winter session wait until fall or spring and take joe franko. Franko explains more in detail and lets you use index cards for the test. I took 61 with summers this summer and she talks way to fast there is a quiz every class and you can't use note cards for the test so you have to memorize everything.
so far so good. im currently in her 61 class right now and this course seems pretty intense as far as the workload and memorization goes. then again, it is winter session. her handouts seem very useful. tough grader though. to be continued...
BEWARE!
she is ok.i got an A in summer. she offers extra credit. do all problems from homework and you will be fine. good luck
Teaches really fast, gives horrible notes, and assigns homework that has almost nothing to do with what she went over in class. Pretty much taught myself everything along with the Math tutors. If it wasn't for them I would've failed this class miserably. She doesn't seem to care if anyone understands the material. Avoid her if you can!
She talks so fast, but you just have to ask questions. She is a great person that will always take time to help a student.
She is really nice. Speaks very clearly. Nice hand writing.I got an A.
Took her for geometry and hated it. I had no interest in the class though. She's alright and she is pretty clear on what she's teaching but the exams are kind of tough.
Lectures are difficult to understand but she does want you to pass. The only way to pass is to show up everyday and ask questions. There are no quizzes and graphing calculators are not allowed.
so so.it's hard to take very exam.she lets students do much questions during the exams.she is kind.her class is really hardddddddd.
she's a nice teacher, but not a good teacher. she's hard to understand. take someone else
currently taking her in fall09, and it is my biggest mistake. she is a nice person, but does not teach well. her methods are hard to understand, quizzes and tests are ridiculous, the lecture itself is boring, she makes the information harder to understand. avoid her if you can!
Mrs. Summers is a really nice teacher, but the way she teaches is extremely confusing.. she's one of those teachers who kind of teaches super quick without stopping because she assumes everyone gets it. Tests are also your WHOLE grade.. dont take her class unless youre a really really good test taker
I maintained a 4.0 gpa for three semesters until I took this professor. I am not writing this out of spite, but I truly wish she reads this and improves her class for future students. She gave me my first F, not because I was lazy, but because she was too scatter-brained to teach. She squeezes information RIGHT BEFORE a test! COME ON!!
Overall shes a nice teacher but not a good teacher. Her methods are kinda off and she doesnt explain things very well. She does let you make up missed homework tho for half crdit, Tests are vital so study more than half ur grade. Would not recommend unless you already know what is going to be taught in the class.
I'm taking her right now and she's awful. Her notes are really confusing to understand and she rushes through everything. I have to teach myself the material in order to pass the exams. She has trouble explaining things so the class understands. Only take her if you're really good at math.
Talks too fast for material to sink in. Notes are unorganized (lost some of her notes). Tests are worded differently from the hw questions. Assumes you understand and know everything about algebra/geometry. Fell asleep in 2/3 of her class. Summer semester goes by REALLY quick so study right away afterwards since there are tests almost everyday.
Scatterbrain shes nice as a person but teachign wow. NO!!She adds things last minute annyoing & says yeah ok no wait yeah no ok.She explains things as if this were a philosophy class its math one answer thats it. She also complains about the book. To the point were im thinking her ex husband is the author geez. Notes sloppy, hard quiz & test not ea
Prof. Summers is probably one of the nicest professors at Mt. Sac so I won't be too harsh on her, but she needs a better teaching connection with her students. She is very educated in math and knows the material well, but she fails to interpret her knowledge to help her class learn. I hope she gets better, because she genuinely is a nice person.
This teacher is very difficult. She makes her exams very challenging and if you're good at math, take her! Or else, you will struggle very hard just to get at least a C or better. Good luck!
she is a great teacher. the only problem with her is that she doesn't like giving extra credit all your great i from your quizzes, exames and home work also al of her quizzes is from the homework.
She does not how to explain herself. She is helpless do not take her there are better teachers. She gives out alot of extra credit thats the only reason why the last 5 students that do stay towards the end of the semester pass her class.
She's extremely nice, but she fails to effectively teach her students in a manner where they will understand. I took her for summer session and a majority of the students in the class complained about her teaching style. The only people who learned were the ones who taught themselves or learned by someone else outside of the class.
For the stats people, she did mention that stats was not her favorite math. I just finished winter sessions with her and I loved the course. - Content: Quizs everyday, mediocre homework, 3 exams. Quizs and Exams do not have any proofs you haven't seen before. I passed the class with an A with almost zero studing. Will take her for 160.
Math isn't my best subject, and I was only 10 points from an A. She drops your lowest quiz, lets you retake a quiz and lets you replace a test score with your final exam grade (given its a higher grade). There is a lot of hw, but there always is in math. I thought she was very clear and helpful! I recommend her, for 71X at least.
She's a good teacher, I would take her again but she's not teaching Stats. I like her because she doesn't confuse you by showing 5 diff. ways to solve a problem! She totally looks lke Janis Jolin too, she's cool, math is my weakest subject and I passed with a B, but I worked my tail off for that B! Bad thing is that HW due every class meeting.
I'll admit that her teaching style is a bit....jumbled. She's good at explaining concepts and such, but she sometimes talks too much, which further confuses the class. The only reason I got an A was because I knew the material and was familiar with the language. That being said, you may get lost if you aren't a math person. But overall she's good.
she was alright. tests are straight from the book. gives extra credit.
She is horrible. I took her for winter and I dropped it because of her teaching techniques. Went to her office hours and that did not help at all. She teaches too fast and doesn't answer questions properly. DO NOT TAKE!
She grades fairly but tests are hard. Does talk a lot and goes through material fast, but teaches it very thoroughly and in detail. Helpful if you ask for it.
Beware this class was brutal in the winter. Lecture and text book were not helpful at all. She would complain often about the textbook because she didn't like the way the authors set up the proofs, so she would often do the proofs different than presented in the book. Homework is mandatory and you will miss points if you skip any problems.
ms. summers is a nice, courteous instructor, and she accepted extra credit. However, i really didnt like her teaching technic. she went too fast for me to absorb. Basically, I taught myself during the winter session. I barely passed the class. If you are not a math person, consider taking her class.
I am trying to study for her test now, and I am freaking out. even after attending all classes and doing the notes i will not get a good grade. She gives you a lecture for the first 10 min of class about...who knows!!! and then rushes through and basically expects you to already know. C'mon!! its been awhile for some of us. I should've dropped.
I am not a math person and for me personally the better the teacher then the easier my life is & I did not like this professor at all, she is more like it is review then actual new material to some people, like me.. Alot of hw assigned and she sometimes talks to herself and its annoying during class, I did not like her
Impossible to take in an intersession semester. She always tells you to ignore parts of the book because they aren't 'correct' but you are going to have to through them anyways because her lectures in class are frantic and often irrelevant to the test. She doesn't teach, she just regurgitates mathematical information and hopes you understand.
I do not understand her math lingo, and I'm sure more then half the class doesn't either. Other students in my class agree she has poor methods. She does talk to herself. Right before a test she threw an entirely new concept on the board and then it wasn't on the test. Her tests are hard to study for, may think your ready but are not. Hard class.
I never blame teachers for my shortcomings in school, but Summers is my exception. By far the most unnecessarily difficult teacher I've ever had. She talks to you like you're a mathematician, the final is unreasonably hard, office hours unfruitful as she fails consistently to level with students' limited understanding. I genuinely do not recommend.
By far the most unnecessarily difficult teacher I've ever had. Her tests are difficult, but not insurmountable, she goes too fast, doesn't convey info well, shows apathy toward student success, and the final was ridiculously hard. She picks the hardest questions from the book & puts it on the exams. would not recommend if you're not a math major.
SHE IS THE WORSE TEACHER EVER! I made the biggest mistake taking her. She doesn't even teach it's all review. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE!!!
Terrible! Test are ridiculously hard. Notes consisted of copying down information with no explanation. Speeds through sections with little clarity. Constantly pointed out that book is wrong and teaches using her own bad methods.
Won't answer questions, yells if there's more. Mad when students catch her extensive errors. Her proofs don't relate to the book, she says "The book's WRONG!" Gave speech that students who barely get a 'C' should take class over then at 74% I got a 'D'. Students said they loved her in 71 but hated her in 150. Only bad teacher I've experienced here.
She makes at least 3 mistakes every time when lecturing and students need to correct her. Puts that hardest questions on tests yet she has the inability to effectively teach a class. Half the class is already gone in my class. Get someone else.
Makes too many mistakes while teaching. Does not even teach the material that is going to be on the tests. Had about 30 people in our class in the beginning. By the last drop date there is about 6 people left. Worst professor I have ever gotten. Did not learn a thing. do not take this class.
I've had many math teachers throughout my academic career, but she was by far the WORST TEACHER I EVER HAD. She's extremely disorganized, unclear, cold, uncaring, and gives out ridiculously hard work without having any regard of the student's ability and then gets angry when we fail, blaming it all on us. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Dont take her. She does not teach well. SHe only sits at her desk and projects notes. Worst teacher ever!
it was very good I like because it was so easy
I took this class during winter, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Makes various mistakes while teaching. Tends to assign homework that she doesn't give notes on.
She is helpful and will answer questions but she is a hard grader with extremely hard tests. The hardest final I've ever taken. In order to pass, you have tot study hard.
First day she states" I won't get in trouble if I fail every last one of you". Makes every problem extremely hard. Rants about her personal life because no one likes her. Avoid if possible. She will destroy your GPA.
GPA DESTROYER! The tests are hard and confusing so study well. She doesn't care if half the class is failing but honestly, i think she's a fair grader. No extra credits so you get what you deserve. She helps if you ask her though. I took her for winter so maybe that's why it was so hard. The homeworks kinda helped
This professor is very unorganized, her tests are extremely hard, and she grades even harder. For class she's always writting on her computer hardly ever looks up. Claims to know more than the textbook saying it's wrong. Homework is a must to at least pass or else you won't be prepared for her tests. I would by all means not take this professor.
no quizzes, just hw and exams. Recommend doing all the hw and the extra credit!! Studying for exams is mandatory. Do not skip class or else you'll be lost. She is nice and does help when you ask. She is not the type of teacher for visual learners. Her teaching is very unclear and doesnt explain herself when lecturing.
miss a day? the notes done in class are posted on the portal. gives you chances to turn in late homework and extra credit !! extra cred. for volunteering during review days. go into her office hours for help, she's super nice and very helpful. studying IS A MUST DO! gotta learn how to do problems HER WAY. dont rly need a book if you go to the MARC
You need to put effort if you want to pass. I didn't study for the first test and that showed because I got an F. I studied a little for the second test and got a C. I was determined to do better so for the third test I studied my ass off and got a C. On the final I got an A and it replaced with lowest test score so I passed the class with an A.
She assigns a ton of math hwk (on average two sections, 15-30 problems for each) after every class, but on the plus side, hands out packets of pre-made notes for every chapter to fill. Aside from that, there's a lot of opportunity to earn extra credit to make up for your grades. Overall, she's tough but fair with students and VERY resourceful! D
Pros: Nice, approachable, offers ec, provides typed notes and study guides. Cons: Exams are difficult, tough grader, ec only for hw points. Overall: She is challenging and expects a lot from her students in 150 since the majority are moving to 160. I just got done taking the final, hoping for a B overall, but idk it was hard. 3 exams, hw, final
This class was tough, but I'm glad that I took her. She really prepares you for the next level. She always makes time for her students outside of class, and she is extremely helpful and easy to approach. Her lectures are composed of printed notes where she shows example problems for the section. Tests are difficult but not impossible, just study.
do not recommend her. she doesn't teach all the material bc she says that you need to figure it out on your own. most of the students were confused as well and ended up with C's. she's a nice lady but not a good teacher. you may need to teach yourself the material on your own.
I really liked her because I'm not horrible at math and I already knew the subject. If you have trouble with it, best not to take her. She really does expect a lot from students to put effort and if you're looking for the easiest A, this class will not be it.
She destroys GPA's. I'll never forget how hard this class was. Everything that i once thought i knew about trig went out the window with this woman. And she clearly doesn't care if you fail because she'll put in questions in exams that you haven't seen in the book or in her lecture notes. Any other professor, this class would have been an easy A.
Professor Summers is a really great person but when it comes to math she makes you work for it. Classwork is not a problem because the only we do is take notes and the notes she provides. All we have to do is copy down the notes. If you don't understand something, really ask questions because if you don't ask, she will continue on.
The professor demonstrates that she knows Algebra, but she doesn't teach Algebra. Mt. SAC Administration doesn't mind, as long as students keep buying new addition math books every semester
Makes us copy down notes without much explanation. Very boring! Complains a lot. She does not curve, extra credit options include presenting review questions which you can get wrong and not get credit for. EC via math problems are added onto homework grade -max 100% hw. No quizzes, besides first few -You need quizzes to grasp concepts! Don't take!!
Shes very nice and IS acessible outside of class. its difficult to learn when she uses a tablet. She does pass out the notes but doesnt do much explaining when filling in the missing details. I think she used the white board 3 times this semester.
Don't take if your having a hard time with math she doesn't explain much .The tests are not like the homework or notes .
Professor Summers tends to contradict herself, says she only grades on completion but then takes off points if problems are done wrong. Her explanations can be hard to understand and I don't think she really cares if we do well in her class.
Complains about the math dep. endlessly + the book is $200! Gives little to no explanation about the notes she lectures on, goes incredibly fast, and makes you feel bad for not understanding. If you struggle with geometry/are learning for the first time, do not take her class.
she just keeps writing notes . so fast she make math hard no good explanations. DONT TAKE HER
Ive read other reviews of this professor and I find myself disagreeing with most of them. I really enjoyed having Mrs. Summers as my professor! Although she gives a lot of homework, she is very helpful and thorough when she would go over lessons and whatnot. Her somewhat sarcastic sense of humor was much appreciated too!
I took Professor summers for both Math 71 and Math 130. She is tough. if you have trouble with math expect a challenge. Not an easy A. Most of these reviews have very bitter students who aren't willing to put the effort into learning a subject. Show up, pay attention, and visit her office hours if you have questions. Then you'll pass.
If you have trouble understanding math do not take her! She goes over notes fast, doesn't explain notes well and expects you to know what she is talking about. Don't miss a day because you will miss a lot. She gives plenty of of extra credit and is nice.
I attempted to take this class with Math 13( support) a new way to bypass Math 71 and found her method of teaching extremely difficult. She marks you down for not writing answers in complete sentences, yet she can't even spell. She does not let you ask about hw because she says theres no time and you have to go to her office hrs which are 30min!
Does not offer sufficient examples for certain lectures. Teaches multiple lessons a day but assigns only one or two or those chapters are homework, then teaches another 5-6 chapters the next class day, but assigns homework based off of the previous lecture day.
Her teaching is not helpful at all! I would not recommend taking her class especially if you are one to struggle with math.
Taken During Winter 2019. The professor is great at explaining the material while i was taking her class. I would NOT RECOMMEND HER DURING WINTER OR SUMMER IF YOU ARE NOT DEDICATED TO PASSING! HOWEVER! if you're taken the material before, then you might do fine but STUDY HARD. she is great at explaining the material. RECOMMENDED FOR SEMESTER!
Very rude teacher. I arrived about an hour late on the first day normally I don't miss the first day at all but anyways I go in and she said you've been dropped and then says its 9 o clock and chuckles as a few other students chuckle she really couldn't sound any more sarcastic than that. I totally respect the instructors rules but being humiliated
She is extremely helpful and always willing to answer questions if you have a problem. Her office hours work perfect because theyre usually right before the class and shes always willing to help you find out what you need to do to make an A. Do the homework because even though she doesnt grade it her quizzes come right off the problems!
In my opinion Professor Summers class was very easy. She has printed lecture notes, all you need to do is follow along and write solutions. She does not collect homework but definitely do it because her quizzes are from the homework. Offers max extra credit allowed but it's up to you to earn it. Not friendly to students who skip class/leave early.
Worst teacher Ive ever had. She lectures a lot about how we dont understand the homework questions she doesnt teach. Will mark down everything she can on the tests (literally), relies on the homework to make you understand the course, and will drop you if you miss 4 days. Do everything you can to avoid her!
Does not offer extra credit. Does not answer homework questions. Hard test. Definitely I wont recommend her.
DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, you only get graded o n 3 tests and your final and they are SUPER HARD. I took Math 130 and Math 13 which is to "help" you and it ended up making it harder, she teaches too fast and expects you to know everything on the spot WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
This prof was too much. I dont know if its because its calculus or because she expects people to pass the class by providing much more difficult questions for tests. Lecture would be really heavy I would not even bother to question I would just teach myself with the book. I dont recommend this prof, she seemed proud in giving people Ds and Fs
Most importantly for test be careful because she grades your scratch work and if you misplace negative sings, thetas or other numerical arguments while showing work she will give you less than half credit. She says TRIG is a STEM class so she grades stupid hard. PLEASE BE WISE AND LEARN FROM ME TAKE SOMEONE ELSE, SHE WILL RUIN YOUR SEMESTER
By far the worst professor I have ever taken. She takes points off the smallest mistakes on tests as well as homework. She explains math to students as if everyone is a genius. Say goodbye to having any sort of free time because you will be studying for these beyond difficult tests. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR SHE WILL MAKE TRIG A NIGHTMARE.
When she lectures she does the work in the head most of the time without even explaining as if we are supposed to know how to do it.I'm taking her 130+13 support class and even then I see a tutor once a week because they explain everything better. Sometimes I have to teach myself with the examples from the book because she sucks!
Very nice lady, well meaning and genuinely cares about her students success. However, she is poorly at executing that care and patience when it comes to teaching the material. She speaks rather fast and has a tendency to mumble. If you dont do the exam reviews you wont pass her tests. Didnt enjoy her class much.
I passed this class with an A, but am baffled at how hard she makes a beginner math course. She teaches beginner algebra students like they're in a much more advanced class, and legitimately over-complicates the subject. If you're even slightly bad at math, and have other obligations besides school (i.e. job), do NOT take this professors classes.
Okay really?? She gives us 100 questions a night for Homework and they are only 10% of your grade? The other 90% of your grade is three exams that are completely different from the Homework and Study Guide? Impossible. We started off with 32 students in the class and now we have 8 students. That tells you something right there! Embarrassing!
Worst professor ever. Not even a teacher. How do I get a 100% in all of the Homework and still basically fail the class? Her exams are 30% each so it is a do or die situation. NEVER take her class or you will be screwed. Always got A's in my math classes previously and then she comes into my grades. Avoid her at all costs.
If you are a student that prefers in-person learning THIS IS NOT THE CLASS OR THE PROFESSOR TO TAKE. trust me. *She does not allow you to use notes on any exams or final and calculator not that much *Her grading system is awful. notes are mandatory but worth nothing and exams and final are worth 100-300points each *formula sheets don't help either
SHE IS THE WORST DURING COVID. She will give you videos to watch and take notes, but it will be 2-4 pages a section. Then none of the test questions or homework will be the same level of difficulty. She is not helpful, and does not provide extra credit. Not worth the struggle.
The notes videos and worksheets you do in class arent all that helpful when it comes to test and quizzes. Definitely a class you have to work hard in and give your full attention, I dont recommend taking this class if you are working, this class will only bring stress upon you!
Homework is 5% of your grade. Tests are basically all of your grade. I have a 3.75 GPA and this is the first class I have ever done this bad at. There is a lot of homework but the class is easy. She just likes to bomb people on tests. I thought I did excellent on every test and everytime I was failed. Do not take this course 7 people were left BTE.
Worst and hardest class I have ever taken! She is nice but this class is so difficult. She requires you to submit notes and monitors exams over zoom. I took her class during the summer but I could not get through it. Trig is not hard but this class made me despise it. The quizzes are easy but they aren't worth much. Definitely do not recommend!
Made class unnecessarily difficult! You have to turn in notes that you copy off video lectures & they dont cover all the problems in hw. Tests are proctored & are the only thing that matter towards grades. She doesnt care about her students. Sends no reminders. 30 students were registered, I was 1 of 3 students left, but EW it today. DONT TAKE!
Notes don't ever actually pertain to the homework, and some test questions aren't even ever taught how to solve. Very nice teacher but kind of awful at actually teaching. Everything is through video notes, and she doesn't thoroughly explain how to do some of the problems and just kind of expects you to know why she does them the way she does.
Do not take her class at all costs. The class average on all of our exams ranged from 39-42%. She would often talk about how its ok to fail a class because she failed multiple classes in college. After the final she told me that a 71% was a good grade for this class. And be ready for long class periods of classes with too much information.
Good professor when effort is put forward. Lenient with grading. Many students in my class did not pass but I believe this was due to a lack of determination. Trigonometry is not that hard and if the class is not passed, that is not on the professor. She could have been a little more interactive with notes, but overall good professor when you try
Teacher was very awful. Notes did not correlate to the homework given.
HW did not go with the notes that she gave also the video that she gave did not talk enough about how to do and work with the steps on QS. Also, we don't have enough time on tests also giving questions that we've never seen before. Even the HW is too much and it's more further than then trig that has been taught to us.
This professor is horrible when it comes to explaining math. She goes through it as if you already know everything. Test grades are worth 60 percent of your grade. If you have trouble with math DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS AND LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!
She doesn't respect her students nor their time. She does not give extensions no matter what! Her lectures are short and she makes errors in the videos. I'm stuck teaching myself trig. Very lazy teacher
Professor Melody Summers' MATH150 class is challenging, but if you stay engaged and utilize resources like unstuck AI for study prep, you can succeed. The grading can be tough, so be meticulous with your work.
