Professor was very nice. Always willing to help. Most if not all of the info on her ppt. comes from the book, so read, read, read. Didn't find to much sense in attending class, but you will receive points for attendance. As long as you read the book and reinforce with the professor's notes, and practice tests you will be ok.

PPE3003: I took this class online and she was GREAT! very helpful. Her test and quiz are multiple choice and required you to study both the text book and her powerpoints. As long as you study, you should get an A.

This professor is awesome! take this course with her. I promise you will not regret it. She is very reasonable. 3 exams,4 quizes all multiple choice. She is very helpful and really cares about her students. I got an A in her class. I had taken with previous professor and Failed! A+ professor. FIU needs more professors like her.

great online class. professor is very clear about assignments and grades fairly. drops lowest quiz and exam grade. weekly discussions are super easy. plus she's really really nice if you need help with anything and will respond promptly to her e-mails. definitely reccomend!

One of the best teachers ever at FIU. She gives discussions to write every week which are very easy. There are 4 quizzes and 4 exams. The last exam and quiz are optional. The text book is a must. The professor is willing to help out the students as much as possible and she is very friendly. She also responds to e-mails very quickly. Highly recommen

Took her at virtual college for MDC. Easy A. Every week just participate in 1 discussion and take 1 quiz. YOU DON'T NEED THE BOOK. I got an A based off her chapter reviwes. Only "hard" thing is a 5 essay paper due at the end of class. It's really no big deal and sounds worse thank it is. Any other class would demand more. She's great! Take her

Awsome professor and the class itself online is not bad. I really have learn a lot and it has help me understand better people itself. I recommend her for any of the classes she might be teaching.

AMAZING!I took her virtual course, she makes it super easy and its one quiz with just a few question based on one chapter. Everything is in order and organized. Proctored midterm exam which I finished in 6 minutes. EASY if u just fill out the study guide.10 page paper due which is EASY u have the whole semester to complete. EASY A.

Excellent professor and great online course. Prof Whiddon is very helpful and well organized. There are many opportunities to do well and she is very active on the course. She responds promptly to emails and respects students. I'll recommend any student to take her, she's very good. Her quizes and exams are challenging but just study and review.

She is a really nice professor, I took the online class. You have a crossword puzzle every week, 2 exams, some fact sheets review and a paper. The class is really easy.

i took her class online and she was great. the tests don't give you a lot of time to look up answers but i used an ebook and that helped. she gives extra points or answers if anything goes wrong online or gets confusing due to moodle. i would take her again.

Amazing professor! She's so sweet and a very easy grader. Her EDP3004 class consists of three exams (she drops the lowest exam grade), a research paper, and a group project. There is also some extra credit and points for attendance. I really recommend her. You will not regret it. Easy A+. :)

This was a fully online course and she was super responsive and helpful. Her tests were not easy but if you did poorly she offered extra credit and take-overs but if you read the material, that's just not necessary. Great class and professor, I'd take her class again.

Took this class online. She is great. Super responsible and will do everything she can do help you. Drops lowest test and quiz grade. The only downside is that the book is very dense, complicated, and can get really boring. The tests are not easy and you do have to study, but getting an A is perfectly doable.

A true gem, genuinenly interested in helping her students, she is dependable, highly responsive and very fair in her grading. Do everything you are asked to do and you will be fine!

It was an online class, and she did a good job considering that FIU just switched over to a new Blackboard system. Grades were based on a couple of group discussion boards, a paper, games, and two exams. Extra credit through sona. I would recommend her because if you follow all the instructions you should be fine. and she was very nice.

I am currently taking this class and 3 others and this is the class with less stressful that I have taken since I started at FIU. I totally recommend this professor, she is understanding, cares for students and makes class enjoyable. :) Great Class!!

I LOVE HER!!! She's one of the best professors that I have had at FIU she's amazing. She's very helpful and works with you if you need anything. Just attend class and do the crossword puzzles oh and the quiz online you'll be fine. I'm taking her this semester and she is awesome. I would definitely recommend taking her!!

Great professor! Very easy-going class. She makes it very clear what is expected for each assignment, and is good at emailing back pretty quickly. I would recommend taking her class, she was very helpful.

Super straightforward. Test questions came directly from weekly "games"; I'm talking word-for-word. Textbook is a good tool but The 'games' are graded by completion and give you the correct answers after every wrong submission, so you don't really need the book, though it helps. Prof W is also accessible. Already registered with her for a 2nd class

AMAZING! Follow the syllabus, do the assigned work, read the chapters, do the studymate games and you will get an A! The test comes from the studymate games. Must take!

Simple online class. Weekly "games" (program that allows you to use flashcards, crossword puzzles, fill in the black, etc...) and video discussions. Didn't have a midterm or final just 3 exams. Simple class, would take again.

She is a sweet person. Taken online. Weekly discussions and responses to other students is required. Exams 3 to 4 chapters every 3 weeks. Final not cumulative. She gets her exam questions from quizlet and study blue. I used those websites to study and it helped.

SOP3015 BEST PROFESSOR HANDS DOWN. I took her online and it was 3 exams, questions come straighttttt from the the study games. Drops lowest test grade, 5 video discussions, and you get 1 point each week for playing the study games, which go towards your overall grade and are the questions for the exams. TAKE HER, TAKE HER, TAKE HER! I received an A

Literally just finished my last exam (there was only 2) for mini session. By far the EASIET class EASY A! ALL TEST QUESTIONS come straight from the games! No need to buy a book! Just leave a little good discussion post on the videos. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

It was a joy taking her especially with all my other classes which required more of my time. Make sure you do the practice quizzes in order to ace the exams. Try not to miss the discussions and she also offers SONA for extra credit. Easy A for sure. Shes awesome!

I decided to take this professor based on so many great feedbacks received. I am glad I did! She's a very kind, laid back teacher who understands that you may also have other classes, a job, and a family. She will be there for you if you have a question and is willing to help you along the way. Great person, by far one of the best instructors!

Very specific clear syllabus!

Pretty simple! Take her, do the work, read, complete a well written discussion as required, practice, practice, practice the chapter games and you will get and A. Simple as that. If you don't take this class you are a fool. Don't want to say its an easy A, but if you do the work and follow the syllabus you will get an A. End of story!

Aaaaaaahmazing Professor! Very very nice and clear on what she expects for the task-stream article assignment. Def recommend her! Class consist of quizzes (that are not for a grade), research article, extra credit, AC sessions (3) and weekly article critiques (that are a breeze)! Take her!

Dr. Whiddon is a breath of fresh air. She's personable w/her students during AC sessions. I was intimidated by the course in the beginning because I never took a research class - after this class - I want to research more!!! I will take her again!!! Take her if you need a research credit, you won't be disappointed. :)

Took this class online and as long as you are up to date with assignments and study for quizzes it should be fine. Although, she assigns a group assignment which can be really annoying when its an online class. My grade lowered because of this group project, I didn't know any of my members and they sucked!! Make sure you group project is perfect.

The professor makes something as daunting as research actually approachable. She splits the semester project into small sections and gives feedback along the way. Very helpful!

The syllabus for this class was horrifying, but the actual class was pretty strait forward. Tests are tough but you can use the study mate games to study, the worst part was the group project, which was not clearly explained, but Whiddon gives great feedback and opportunities to perfect it. Definitely recommend her, she's been awesome.

Professor Whiddon is a great teacher with clear direction and assignments. You must read the textbook each week, plus take three exams throughout the semester. Make sure to read directions carefully when working on the group project!

I love this professor, I'm taking two online classes with her at the same time. Weekly discussions based on videos and questions so far ( hopefully nothing article based awaits , I hate those).The studymates are fun to do, it doesn't matter how many you get wrong, it still gives you a point and it helps you remember the chapters and study for exams

Took her online and she was great. 2 video discussions, one major group project. Make sure your group is focused for the project. Don't wait last minute. Gives extra credit. 3 exams, 60 questions (drops lowest grade) the weekly study mate games are useful for the exams. She's reachable for help via email. Take her, you won't regret it.

Omg, if you dont take her it's your loss! I scored an A in 3 weeks. She's so organized and responds to emails within a day's time. Just read the book, participate in the discussions, and do the study games!

This is my first online class and it wasn't that bad. Her class is not difficult at all. There's a discussion and a study mate game every week. The discussions are easy, just make sure to reply to at least two people. Three exams, one is dropped. And two video discussions. I did not have a problem with her or the class at all. Really easy A!

Do the assigned work, and you will pass. Study games every week which help with the exams she gives. One group project - three exams (one is dropped) - two discussions. I recommend her for anyone who is looking for a stress free class with interesting information. She also quickly responds to any questions you may have!

EASY! I took it online during an 8 week period. Mandatory games for each chapter, 2 exams which a lot of questions derive from the games, and 5 video discussions.

Honestly, she is an easy professor, but this class choice was a pain because of a group project and you literally had to pay 30 dollars for taskstream to submit one assignment like really?!? Unless your major is focused on education and educational psychology- don't take choose another course.

This professor is really nice. Shes an easy A just follow the syllabus. The only thing thats annoying is the group project which and the studymate games which is time consuming. Overall great professor and a Must take! WILL DEF TAKE HER AGAIN.

Took this class online in Spring 18'. If you follow directions and do the work you will get an A. There is a group project, she provides feedback to make changes before submitting to TASKSTREAM.

She is an amazing professor and is very specific o what and how she wants her assignments. She is very understanding and will help you with anything that you would need. Definitely should take her.

She's really going to make you work for it. She makes the quizzes herself. However, if you do it right, it's an easy class, with a single group project that's fairly easy, and she's a generally fast responder, and considerate of student life. A solid choice.

Took her for EDP3004 and EDP4274. She is a GREAT professor. She answers all questions and responds back quickly. If I could have her for every course I needed I would choose her. Do all of the work and it is an easy A. Overall, she is just a wonderful person and you can tell she really cares for the students.

12 discussions that have to be detailed & participation among your group. Youll lose points if she feels, youre not engaging . 3 exams but lowest will be dropped. 60 qs ( come from study mate games which you have to do. Overall, not too hard but not super easy. Just do the work

It was a pleasure being in her class. I learned so much not just for my education but also valuable info that I applied to my own life. The discussions get personal & I wasnt used to that, but crucial for psych majors & those hoping to enter counseling. My complaint would be being grouped for discussions as some people wait til last minute to post.

This is a great intro class to educational research, and taking the course online was easy and very intuitive. She gives clear guidelines on grading rubric and details in her syllabus, and follows-through in providing feedback on a timely basis.

Professor Whiddon was very caring and informational. I was able to get a response from her very quickly. I found her instructions to be clear and the course content to be enjoyable. Nothing was crazy hard and she offered extra credit points as well.

Like with all online classes, there only so much interaction you are going to have with the professor but I still enjoyed this course because I feel like I learned a lot and the assignments were easy. One quiz and a discussion per week, 3 exams throughout the whole semester. It's also really easy to reach out to her if you need anything.

the professor is good the class is just hard and requires work but whatever i would totally take again i slaked alot in this class so i feel like the difficulty is partly my fault .

Professor Whiddon was a good professor. The class was pretty average with a discussion and quiz due every week and three non-proctored exams. Honestly, easy class as long as you follow the discussion rules which are to post on Thursday and reply to two people on Sunday answer the discussion post in detail, and do the work.

Prof. Whiddon's class is manageable if you stay on top of the weekly discussions and exams. The material can be engaging, and unstuck ai is a handy tool for study prep.
