Other rating is right, just read the chapters and your gauranteed an A. 1.She grades on a curve,2.whatever you got in quize points(everyday quizes)she adds to your test score! Your stupid if you cant ace every test. VERY BORING lectures though!ZZZZZ!

very good teacher, read the chapter, you have good debates sometimes. Down to earth, and for a Prof very human.

Great teacher. Very easy going and helpful. If you forget to turn something in she will let you know and will still give you full credit for it. If you know the study packet she hands out before every test and go over the terms you will get an A.

Boring, just boring, fairly easy to get a good grade in her class, just manage to stay awake and read the terms that were in the chapter that you were supposed to read. The rest comes as common sense.

This is the easiest class ever!! You get 10 free points on the 50 tests, I don't know how you couldn't do well in this class. All you have to do is hand in everything.

If you don't get an A in this class, you shouldn't be going to college. The entire class is lectures from powerpoints and you have daily quizzes that don't count. Her accent is hard to understand at first, but you get used to it. She will help you if you ask her. Easy A.

EASIEST CLASS EVER!!! she has an extremely easy grading system, and if you miss a test she will let you make it up if you go and talk to her. She gives you a good general understanding of psych. class is much more interesting if you participate, because it can get boring sometimes.

This was an easy class. Do participate cause thats what makes it more fun. Read the pracice quiz after each chapter and you've aced the quiz. She's funny once you get to know her.

This is the easiest class ever, if you don't get an A then you must have been sleeping the whole time...this has been by far one of my easiest classes.

This class is sooooo easy. I hardly had to study and i got an A no problem. She requires that you read before each class, but it's never much. You have daily quizzes but if you read the bold words then you'll be fine. Take her if you can.

VERY easy. It's a good class; you learn the material without being weighed down by it. Tons of extra credit and such. Easy tests. Only complaint is that she is kind of hard to understand at times.

shes a feminist but doesnt go overboard with it. the work is easy and simple. she has an accent but it's not too bad. you just have to pay attention.

This class is super easy! All you have to do is show up, listen, read a bit of the textbook and you're well on your way to a passing grade! She puts all her quizzes and practice test questions on Web CT so you know exactly what to expect, too. Just be warned that it can get a bit boring at times, though. I said it was easy, not necessarily fun!!

Dr. Topcu is a really nice person, but this class was almost a complete joke! She gives daily quizzes (which suck) but they're basically free points as long as you at least skim the textbook before hand. Tests are pretty easy too, and other than a group presentation it's just a bunch of busy work. Sometimes though, lecture is halfway interesting.

Very good teacher who goes over stuff very well and is very helpful. I would definetely recommend her.

Possibly easier than any of my high school classes. there are daily quizzes but they are ridiculously easy and have extra credit. tests are the same way. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!

Dr. Topcu had a pretty laid black class environment, she is a great teacher. I would definitely recommend her for psychology.

The easiest class I have ever taken.. I have had over 100% the entire time. She gives you extra credit every day, all you have to do is read the assigned 4 pages that she gives. Highly recommended, EASY A!!!

great class. easy to do well if you read the short sections. no homeowrk, but just reading 4ish pages for short quiz

Great teacher. A little hard to understand at first but you get used to it. The first test/quiz most didn't do well on. The first quiz caught many by surprise because they didn't look at the schedule sheet she gave. The first test was set up differently than most thought so there were not good scores but once you see the first you're fine.

Great teacher, had her before for Cog. Psych. She lets you know what information she wants and what is relevant.

Very nice lady. She has a good sense of humor, and she has an accent but it's very easy to adjust to. I would definitely recommend her. I actually felt like I learned a thing or 2 about psych from taking this class.

Whoever said the comment below about Dr. Topcu is severely wrong to say the least. Dr. Topcu is an exceptionally bright professor that condenses very difficult information down and makes it extremely understandable. She's one of the best psychology teachers at Ferris State. She does a great job and knows what she is talking about!

She curves all the tests. Daily quizzes but they're straight vocabulary out of the book. 1 group project; we threw ours together and got 100%. No accumulative final. Suggest not taking in the evening because it can get dull.

I honestly loved this class. I've learned a lot too. The only downfall was taking it in the evening. Attendance is not mandatory. The final exam is not accumulative. Online open book quizzes are extremely easy. She's extremely funny, & straight to the point. She curves every test. The group presentation is a piece of cake she gives everyone 100%.

Dr. Topcu made me enjoy coming to class. She has tremendous insight in comparing American cultures to other cultures and tying it all into psychology. Expectations in the class are crystal clear and she curves every test. One of my favorite professors at Ferris.

She is an awesome professor. Her exams are really easy and the online quizzes are a breeze. She keeps class interesting with discussions. She is one of my favorite professors.

Easy class. Lecture is boring some days, fun on other days. She's Turkish, but her accent is not a problem at all. Exams are easy, you take them twice. Once on your own, and once as a class and she averages the two score. I would recommend her!

Too easy of a class. It was boring but you didn't have to go to class, quizzes online, and test were super easy as well. Great professor though, uses a lot of examples and relates it to everyday stuff.

Great Teacher! Easy class. You have 1 group presentation but it is easy. The material isn't very hard to know. Tests are multiple choice. You have to study for them but not that much. Overall, She's awesome and I like the class!

Such an easy class. The first exam I studied for, I got an A.The second, I studied way less and got an A. The third, I didn't study at all and got an A. I think her whole class is curved. Only one project too, and you do it in groups. I stopped going to class, and I even got an A on my last exam. Others struggle tho but Overall, this is an EASY A!

Topcu is a great professor at Ferris. She helps you relate subjects to youself in order to remember them easier. Lectures are boring but most people didnt come, they just looked over the powerpoints she printed for us. Easy tests, easy class and she gives extra credit.

Dr. Topcu did a fabulous job with the online version of PSYC 345. The class was pretty easy but slightly labor intense . No tests, just quizzes. She really put a lot of thought into this class. Also, she lets us use older versions of the text which cost around $4!

This class was the easiest course I have taken in college. I took it over wintermester and finished it within one week. The content is sometimes difficult emotionally, but it was a good class to get some easy credits in!

This was Psychology of Death and Dying. It's a super easy class but you'll learn about other cultures and their processes of funeral, cremations, and traditions. Some are very disturbing. You also need to do 2 things in this course that I'm not telling you. It's going to get you out of your comfort zone. I really loved this class. Super easy!

Professor Topcu was a hoot. Her lectures were very straight forward and she defines long-term assignments early/ She is very flexible and understanding. I loved the course and learned a lot of new things. The class was interesting and she does a good job of keeping things relevant. I took this class to fulfill a credit, but I would take it again.

Love this professor. This class was physiological psychology and was a fully online course. She prepared everything amazingly for the class, her video lectures are long but they are SO interesting. Make sure to study for the tests because they make up a large portion of your grade, but the questions come directly from the lectures.

I took this class online in the winter semester. It was really short, but not a ton of work. I really liked the class and funeral home visit surprisingly, and you actually learn a lot of real world stuff. Do all the assignments and quizzes and you'll do great. Awesome class to take in the summer or winter.

This class is pretty much at your own pace with no zooms. There were only a couple quizzes, exams, and one assignment. If you take notes/download the powerpoints you'll do fine on the exams. As long as you keep up with the dates you'll do good. Great class to take when you are taking a lot of credits.

This class is amazing, and you will do well if you learn well with in-class discussions where ideas are shared by everyone.

I loved Ms. Topcu, she is so willing to work with whatever you need for help as a student. Exams and class format are set apart very well and she is very lenient and understanding with grading and assignments.

Professor Topcu is amazing! Was able to pass the class with flying colors without spending hours studying, and I always looked forward to class.

She tells you what you have to do write down during lectures and is very clear on what she wants you to have for your group presentation. You only have one group presentation to do the whole semester, and its based on what you do and not everyone all together. She does go through slides quickly sometimes but other then that amazing!

Easy quizzes and material. There are lab reports we have to do every so often. Her lectures were interesting but a lot of the time she just read off the slides she posted online. She is a very sweet and caring professor and wants the best for her students.

She was literally the greatest professor I have ever had. She gave lots of wonderful examples and taught clear lessons. Lecture heavy, but with valuable and interesting information. Personal experiences were tied into the lessons and not as distractions and her timing was well. Her grading system was very organized and I always knew what was next.

She was great and I enjoyed her class. Lots of examples, and good ones at that. Her lectures were great. The only downside is her attendance policy along with her phone/computer policy.

By far one of the easiest professors. Just a strict no phone/computer policy. Tests/quizzes were all online and you could do them on your own pace. Didn't take points off for late work. Can tell she is passionate about psychology. Uses real world examples. One group project but she walks you through it. Very easy course.
