She is very understanding and helpful. her test comes from pp and is multiple choice question. Her lab test is short answer, not too hard but not so easy. She also cut the some parts of books which makes it easier and also less to study. She is very caring teacher and if you need help she will help you by all means. I recommend too take her class

Lectures are from PPTs so textbook is not necessary but recommended. Lab book is essential (and they come as a packet). Lecture tests are scantron. Lab practical is MC.

Best professor I have taken. Very enthusiastic and has many "stories" to tell to help the students memorize and understand the basic concept of anatomy. Tests were clear and does not provide study guide, thus you have to study the material yourself. Labs were easy. Quizzes were take home. LOVED HER. Would 100x recommend her to anyone else.

I am so happy I took her class. Funny personality. She hardly gave homework. Most of the grades are from quizes and exams. She reviews the exam right before you take it. The lab was easy, just participate. We had a quiz in the lab about every other class- they were 5-10 questions. She was very helpful.. I really enjoyed her as a teacher!

The workbook doesn't make a lot of sense for the lab. Its dumb coloring. She is very involved in teaching. She will go over something 100 times until you understand. She has an accent, some words she mispronounces like metabolism and diarrhea. I sucked at studying and still got a B. Tests are multiple choice. Got out way early. Loved her!!

This women teaches with such passion, is awesome in lecture, will spend however long you need to teach you. I can not say enough good things about her. I have a 7 year old little boy. She is EXACTLY what I think is missing in his education to this point. The class is tough, but any striving RN will benefit from her class.

She's very sweet and very nice. She really wants students to succeed like myself. She's a pretty fairly easy teacher but an A is never going to be the same as a B. So never guarantee yourself a grade because you maybe have to work for the grade. At least I'm doing LPN Nursing Program. Without her help, I wouldn't be in LPN Nurse. She's very nice.

I can not speak highly enough about this women. Took the class with a different professor prior to Dr. Sheikh and failed. The class is definitely tough but you will not find a more willing teacher to go over and above the call of duty to help you understand the material. She could not be more passionate! I took Dr Sheikh for both NAS161/162 hybrid 8 week course and it was a great pleasure to be taught by a very knowledgeable person. She really does her best to make her students succeed in the course . Her lectures are very straight forward and takes the time to stop and review the important concepts for the exams and practicals! Mrs. Shekih is the best professor at Nova. She gives the best lectures and is very clear when describing the materials. Tests are clear and not hard if you somewhat study. She gives extra credit and it brings your grade up by 10 points. I would take her again.

Honestly the best Bio professor you'll find. The study guides are extremely helpful and the tests are straight forward. The labs are pretty easy and she also offers a bunch of extra credit points for labs and tests.

Took 141/142 with her and I recommend her x1000. A gem of an educator and a true inspiration for anyone pursuing a career in healthcare. There is a TON of info in Phys & Anat and things move very quickly but give her your full attention and you will be rewarded. Study guides are helpful and only the things on her list will be on the practicals.

I took professor Sheikh for BIO 142. The class is heavy load because it's a lot of information, but she explains it in a way where one can easily follow along and understand. Her lectures are interesting and understandable. Her exams are easy if you study from the study guide. Overall, she is amazing and cares about one's learning.

I had Professor Sheik For BIO 141 & BIO 142. She is AMAZING! She lectures very well and they are informative. If you take good notes, there is no need for the textbook.I took her class online, & was able to access the recording from her lectures, which was helpful to fill in any missing info in my notes. She is very caring, You do have to study!

Professor Skeikh is the best one in the NOVA. She is caring, welling to repeat, answering questions, and giving plenty of extra points. Assignments are easy and she helps if you ask. Lab exams from the slides and assignments are too easy. Take notes and study, you will get an A.

TAKE HERRRR!!! She loves teaching and is very interactive with her students. She also gives STUDY GUIDES, and during lectures, she usually tells us "this is going to be on the test, so make sure you study this," which is very helpful. this review is for Lab. Professor is very fair and warns us of what will be in exams. She prepares you for more than what she can possibly ask. Do not just read and understand. For lab , do flash cards, you will need to MEMORIZE, there is no other way. Write down many times and find ways to memorize. you won't regret. She is very fair.

Absolutely my favorite professor. Anatomy is a hard course in general but Prof explains the content in such an understandable manner. She points out what we need to know for the test so there's NO surprises. Don't need the textbook honestly, her slides cover everything. Grades are made up of 7 exams, 4 lecture 3 lab. Just study!!! Practice is key.

no HW besides 5 assignment packet due at end that's graded VERY leniently. Study guide is provided, easy points all over the place and the exams are all padded or have EC opportunities. Fill out the study guide, study early, study DILIGENTLY, and do not slack on the lab terms/body parts. Your path to an A is CLEAR & SIMPLE and achievable.

Her exam is made up of trick questions, answer could be all 4 options but you need to pick the best answer. Need to study heavy in her class, exam every 3 weeks on 4 chapters squished in one. Study guide isn't very helpful, and doesn't go over the answers on the study guide. Lab exams are a headache. Need to learn so much for 20 questions.

She will repeat something that you don't understand as many times as needed. Find a good study group. Lab was super fun. She made me love A&P even more. Exams are 100 points each, doesn't drop the lowest score, few homework (5 assignments) but are easy points for completion. She doesn't offer much extra credit, but she definitely adds bonus questions on the exams and labs. Overall she is smart, caring, and understands her students! Pay attention in lectures/ask questions if you're confused. Study guides match exams exactly. No assignments or quizzes, which is great for the 6-week session (only focus is exams). You can score up to 120% on lab exams, so if you put in effort, it's very possible to earn an A in the class. She really cares about her students so show her the same.

I took this as a 6 week course over the summer. Professor Sheikh was very understanding and always inspired and encouraged us to do our best and gave a great motivational speech at the end of the course for us pre-health students. She explained something a million times till you understood and was patient with everyone. I absolutely ADORED her.
