GOOD TEACHER, EASY CLASS, HARD TO GET AN A THOUGH. MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE GET B'S. BORING AT TIMES, BUT I ENJOYED IT

This has been my favorite professor so far in college. She really seemed to help every student and want each of us to do well in the class. I highly recommend her.

shes clear, helpful, pretty much easy grader, takes attendance so u cant really miss classes, but its hard to get an A, most people get B's, so if u want an A shes not the perfect choice. generally i liked her, she was nice

she gave me a C on all of my papers. some times i think she didnt even read it, had three diff english teachers review my final essay and she gave me a D on it! listen to EVERYTHING she says..make sure your responses are in paragraph format or you get an F!!

An A isnt that hard as long as you follow her directions and do the work. Great prof, will help you if you ask, I'd recommend her to anyone needing 102 still.

She is a very nice teacher. but you must work really really hard to get a good grade. shes clear and understandable. it seems that she grades hard because she expects the best from everyone. don't take this class if you want an easy A. be ready to work hard if you take her.

Easy professor if you do what she tells you. Amazing British accent as previously said. Very kind, loving, helpful. If you build a healthy relationship with her, she will grade MUCH more easily. I got an A in her class. Strongly Recommended.

Very good professor. She has lots of in class discussions and she really makes sure that you understand what she is teaching you. She will not accept late assignments so make sure you have a good work ethic before taking her.

If you really want to learn how to write, take Prof. Rindler's class. I highly recommend discussing your papers with her before you turn them in.

She's very clear and not horribly strict on deadlines for homework; she'll take it up to around 2 weeks after the official deadline. She gives a lot of assignments but they're really easy to do and don't take much time. 3 papers, midterm and final. I'd definitely recommend her.

Professor Rindler was great! Although she was hard at grading, she was VERY helpful! you can email her at any time and she'll reply to your emails quickly. She revised all my essays before turning them in. So if you come to her, do as she tells you & ask her for help she will do so. :) thanks professor Rindler!

She is a great teacher! She is very helpful and you can learn a lot from her. I loved her class. You can always talk to her after class if you have any question. I had an A in her class.Students that did not pass it was because they never did any assigment or they did not care about the class. I also took En102 with her and was great!

not too much work for an english class and she lets you hand in any hw early so she can correct it as many times as you want before its due.

Very good teacher, and nice as well. She is a bit of a tough grader, so you have to work pretty hard to earn an A in the class. You won't go wrong taking her though. Highly recommended for EN 190.

She is a good teacher, enthusiastic, patient. It is difficult to teach an English class when the majority of the students are not native. Class may not be easy, but if you do your part, you will succeed.

Many of my classmates thought she was a tough grader but I ended up getting A's even on the BS'd essays (there are several!). She's very kind and patient, gives a lot of feedback, and really tries to work with people who aren't doing so well. Out of all my professors, she was the most willing to help in and outside of class. She wants you to pass.

She gives you a clear rubric for every essay and is always willing to help you if you ask. She knows what she is talking about and is very nice. Plus she has a cool South African accent. However, she is still very easy to understand.

Professor Rindler is great!! She is clear about the grading/has easy to understand rubrics for each paper. I found the outlines to be a little tedious personally, but for the less experienced writer/some for whom English is not a strong point, I'd imagine they are very helpful. Would definitely take a course with her again.

I am an adult learning. Prof. Rindler was my prof. I think she is very kind. She is probably a little boring for high-school graduate. For me,I think she is a wonderful teacher who is willing to help you in and out of class. She gives chances to her students. I definitely will take her again if schedule permits.

A really fair professor. The class is not hard and easy to pass. The feed backs are really helpful. As long as you do your work you can get a B and she is always ready to help you if you need help. She is very charming and nice.

Professor Rindler is a difficult grader and she will make you work for it, but you will become a better writer at the end of this course! As the class advances in time, so do her expectations. If you plan on slacking off, she is not the professor for you. All of the lectures are interesting and meaningful as well. Excellent discussions!

If you do the homework and pay attention you'll be fine honestly. She really cares about each individual student and wants the best for each one. She is a hard grader at times but it's for the best as it allows you to learn. It's not an easy A if you don't work at it but if you work hard and follow directions you can get an A. Professor Rindler is amazing! She is a wonderful teacher and really cares about her students. Expectations were clear on assignments and if you don't understand she is always open to talking after class or elsewhere. She gives great feedback on assignments and explains things very well! Professor Rindler is awesome. She gives great feedback and makes suggestions if you don't understand. If you need any Eng. 101 or 102 I highly recommend you take her class. She is very prompt when answering emails and she truly cares about her students. If you work hard and complete all the assignments you'll pass.

Although she was very tough, Merica Rindler was an amazing professor. She gave brilliant feedback on work, and always made sure to highlight your weaknesses. Her class was also very interactive and fun; I made a lot of friends in her class. If you want to improve your English skills a lot, I highly recommend taking her class!

An amazing sweet kind professor, would definitely recommend her. She is a tough grader on essays, explains very well everything, helps her students. No complains about her she is very comprehensive. Is very quick to email back.

Textbook is important but you can get it cheap on amazon. She's really sweet and wants the best for her students. Participate in class because a lot of lecture time is used to discuss to help us with essays. Grade in the class is mostly based on essays so make sure you take the time to get them done. She's really helpful and kind. Great professor.

Kindest and sweetest professor I've met while at MC. There is definitely a lot of writing assignments in her class and your grade is mostly based on the essays she assigns. She not the easiest grader but she is always willing to help you, would definitely take her again if I had to

She is very understanding, she is always available after class. Is very helpful and respectful. She does give a lot of essays but she is very organized and helps a lot. When I was sick I asked her for an extension and was very kind. I took this class online and the camera on was not required.

Professor Rindler is a very nice person. I took ENGL101A and 102 with her. She teaches students how to analyze different types of articles. HW journals and writing assignments help us to improve our writing. Pay attention to all the assignment deadlines. If you work hard, you can get a good grade. She is willing to help even outside of class time.

She is a very nice teacher and I recommend taking her if you have to take Engl 102. She can be a bit of a strict grader, but she gives plenty of example essays and gives detailed feedback after each essay. She outlines exactly what she took points off for so even if you don't do well on the first essay you can still improve later in the course.

My time with this professor has been great! She is such a great help and is very patient and is easy to reach out to outside of class

Professor herself is a great person and is very comprehensive, Very flexible and overall a great professor, only reason I would not take again and gave her a 4/5 is because she is an insanely strict grader, takes points off for the smallest reasons making it very frustrating.

Great professor. Very understanding of my circumstances. She might be a tough grader, but she gives constructive feedback which is extremely helpful to work on. Her lectures are relatively normal, nothing spectacular, but she does crack a few jokes every now and then.

There is a huge amount of work in the accelerated course but stay organized and you will be ok. Feedback is quick and helpful.

I enjoyed her class so much. She was always happy to help me out students and give directions over and over again if needed. She was one email away from getting the answers you need answered and as long as you actually did your work in class and showed that you're a good student, you'll be fine.

the accelerated course is very difficult and the professor is a tough grader but she is very fair and direct. she is available for help. she doesn't support AI use and she is clear about that.

Great teacher and super friendly. DO NOT USE AI. Thankfully she has a regrade rule. but she looks into your paragraphs and puts them into every AI detector website on the first page of a Google search.

The 7 week course is strenuous but doable if you take it seriously. The prof. is always available and very helpful.
