She is the most amazing professor Ive ever had! She is so kind and help the students a lot to improve their writing. Take her class! She is the best best best!!!

This class is EXTREMELY easy compared to the same English 111 class I took last semester. No grammar lessons. You're suppose to have the Little Seagull Handbook but I didn't and I did fine. There is 2 fairly simple essays throughout the semester and then a final argumentative research paper. All info you need is on her Blackboard page.

Professor Reynolds is the best. She helps her students and makes class easy. She gives enough time to complete essays and extra credit if you visit the writing center. She helped improve on my writing skills. Class is always fun with her.

Professor Reynolds truly helped me become a better writer; she is one that genuinely cares for her students and is willing to sit down with you and discuss what you can work on in regards to assignments and essays. The most important thing in this class is truly making an effort and asking questions if you're confused- she will always help you out.

She is an amazing professor, understands if you cant make it to class. But makes class very interesting. Not too rough on grading. Grading pretty straight forward, since day one. Fun and interesting environment and assignments!

One of the best English teachers I have ever had. She makes English class interesting & easy. Her essay topics are mostly chosen by the students so you can write about something that interests you & she doesn't make you read much. She lets you out of class early sometimes & is really nice and understanding. Accepts late final work.

Professor Reynolds really cares about her students, shes very sweet and enthusiastic about what she teaches. She is not too tough on grading but does expect you to get work done in and outside of class. Work load is very manageable and will often give extra credit opportunities and plenty of time to complete assignments.

Professor Reynolds is probably the best English professor I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable, inspiring, and charismatic. She works very hard to make sure her students understand the material and the workload in her classes is not too demanding.

Professor Meredith is one of the best English professors that I had. She was really helpful when it comes to assignments and she has amazing lectures.

Professor Reynolds is amazing. Not only does she care about her students, but she also thoroughly makes sure everyone no matter the level of education can understand her. She asks if anyone has questions periodically throughout class and asks everyone how they are truly doing when the class begins. She also has office hours just to talk about life!

During the pandemic, she was one of the most helpful professor Ive ever met. She was extremely understanding and it was very easy to understand what she taught. I would 100% take this class again.

Professor Reynolds is the best! She cares a lot about her students and is one of the best professors I've had so far. She always goes into detail about assignments and makes sure her student understand them. She is so sweet and will review your paper during office hours. Take her :) You won't' regret it.

Professor Reynolds is awesome. I took her class for Eng 111 & 112 and got an A for both. She gives you 5 points extra credit if you use a tutoring service and there are 3 papers in total. I took the 9 weeks course and it was fine. I didn't buy the textbook so I don't think it's necessary. Otherwise, she is great and an easy grader.

Professor Reynold is awesome. I took her class for 15- weeks, spring 2021. She is very caring, sweet, respectful, and understanding. She is an easy grader as well. She understands everyone has a lot going on in life, so she gives them flexible time to finish assignments, homework, and essays. I am grateful to have her as my professor. Take her!!

Professor Reynolds has hands-down one of the best in NOVA. She has interesting, creative writing assignments. She engages students with a wide variety of topics and discussions in class. I took her twice - for ENG 112 and 211 - and was glad that I did.

There was a lot of group work but she helps you out and understands if you have a problem. If you miss a class you can ask her for the record and she doesnt need a reason. SHE DIDNT GIVE US TESTS AT ALL!! Our final was an essay

Professor Reynolds is the most sweetest person ever. I would highly recommend taking her class. She gives you opportunities for extra credit and you can tell she cares about the well-being of her students. I loved her class she made my first semester great.

She is very caring, sweet, respectful, and understanding. She understood everyone has a lot going on in life, so finishing assignments was flexible. I am grateful to have her as my professor. I skipped the 112 class of Fall semester for her class in Spring 2022!

Absolutely the BEST!

I didnt have Ms Reynolds for a long time but for the short time that she was my professor, I liked her a lot! I even failed her class as I work full time & had undiagnosed ADHD so it was just impossible for me to juggle both. With time & effort you CAN pass. Her class was easy + thought provoking. I refuse to retake this class w/ another professor

I took her for creative writing and I loved it! Creative writing is an exciting way to destress and express myself and she gave us super interesting and thought provoking prompts. The important thing is getting you writing, and if it's something you're not happy with, she actively wants to work with you to help you figure it out. Taking her again

Shes very nice and understanding when she helps me out. I think she was great as a professor and giving her students breaks to re-energize. I have a A+ right now and I hope to have that grade at the end of the class.

She is nice, gives good feedback on assignments, and wants you to succeed. She is very accommodating and understanding of her students, and often allows late work. Also, she gives extra credit points on essays if you submit them to turnitin .com first for feedback before turning in the final draft. Overall she's a professor I'd recommend.

Ms. Reynolds is incredible, her class was writing heavy but nothing too difficult, if you have some good high school writing skills this will be easy. There was no reading when I took this class. She is a great teacher who is so helpful and understanding about work. if you show up and do a couple of hours a week of work it is fun and easy.

I took prof Reynolds in my first semester during the pandemic. She's so helpful and caring. We're a diverse class, so she definitely made it slower paced for us. There were a lot of papers but nothing too hard. She gave good feedbacks, too.

Honestly professor Reynolds was an amazing teacher and I would take her class again in a heartbeat, she was so clear with everything that needed to be done, gave very fair extensions for big essays and assignments, and she was overall a very caring and amazing teacher, best teacher so far with my experience.

Ms. Reynolds's class was by far my favorite professor. She was very caring, her grading was clear, and she was a very giving teacher. When we are stressed she'll give us some time to relax and she is very understanding. She really made the class great.

She's an absolute gem, she understands that other students have a life outside of school, and her kindness makes you want to be a better writer! If I could remember, what we've done is that we had three essays in total. It was a breeze! Take her! She cares about you and is so kind and give amazing feedback and guidance.

What an amazing lady. 10000% recommend taking her. She is so sweet and gives us work thats reasonable and relevant to the real world. If she taught every subject I would take her over and over again. Need more teachers like her. She doesn't give a lot of homework but still makes sure we understand the lecture and assignments. Shout out to her.

Professor Reynolds is the right person to learning English. She is very courteous, down to earth, casual vibes. She listens to the student queries to correctly allow the student the desirable growth you leave this class to solve problem, she of the best teachers in college. I would recommend taking her again for Eng111, Eng112.

I LOVE HER SO MUCH! one of the best prof ive ever had i took her twice she is very understanding. she exteneds the assignment even if u have a cut on ur finger and cant type. she builds relationship with students cares about ur mental health unlike others. no hw/quiz/final exam. just essay and project.

the best prof ever. she doesn't grade based on what u write u can write like a 5th grader and get A+ as long as u write something ur getting A+ with feedback. give many chances. no AI detection just turnit in. great because u wont get falsely accused of using AI. if u struggle with anxiety cant present projects she will just do it between u and her

Take this class to raise your GPA!! Awesome, awesome professor! I took her during the summer for creative writing and she was super lenient and allowed you to write to your heart's content! The assignments are weekly but are very easy and she's not strict about following the rules. Your final exam is a portfolio of two out of three options

I took ENG111 with her and I love her so much. She is one of the best professor I've ever seen in my life if you wanna pass eng111 with A+ and improve your GPA you must take her

She's nice. Very easy class. She just sometimes has very bad mood swings but overall shes great.

Prof. Reynolds is AMAZING! We had a few assignments and she focus in quality work not how long it could be. Lectures were interesting plus optional group discussions, yet we all had something to say. She gives more than enough time to complete assignments and she is accessible outside of class. I would recommend!!
