She is a wonderful teacher. She is always there to help you in any way. There are a lot of assignments that she gives through Black board and doesn't give much time to do them because she forgets to post them. Otherwise, great teacher

I swear she is the best teacher ever. I have gotten C's in ALL other biology classes and I got an A in hers. Just do all the homework, do the study guide and show up to class. If you need help she is happy to assist.

Great teacher very helpful and explains things very clearly so you understand them. Very willing to give you all the help you need.

She is a really good instructor. The class i took involves a lot of material to go over and is a hard course, but she is soooo willing to help. She even offerd to come on campus on her off days.

Fantastic teacher!!! She goes out of her way to help and even takes her own time to meet with you. Some of the concepts can be confusing, but she will go over it with you personally until you get it! Class powerpoints and notes are great and she has exam review guides (a great help!). If you can get in her class you will do great!

I think she is the best instructor I have had while at Columbus State. She records her live lectures and puts them on blackboard. She really cares if you learn the material. I got an A and I took it online. :) Highly Recommended!

I am in my second year at CSCC and she is one of the best professors I have had. She does EVERYTHING she possibly can to help you learn! Phisiology is really hard, but with all of the extra resorces she gives to help you, it makes it a lot more manageable! Thank you Merideth!!!!

i took her hybrid 8 week accelerated class. Hardest class ive ever taken but i am getting an a in her class right now because she is such a good teacher and SHES ONLINE! All lectures recorded and put online. I hope there is another one like her for 263!!!

Ultra responsive, even in hybrid class; really cares about her students' success. Teaches at college level, but IMO, practically tests at high school level. (No wonder people love her class!) Regardless, you really do learn a lot -- the most important thing. A good survey of physio topics by a knowledgeable instructor.

She was really nice and wants to see everybody pass. She makes sure everybody understands and will take the time out of class to help! I would highly recommend her!

Once again another great teacher at C.S. Merideth teaches phys. in a way that is understandable and approachable. She is very friendly and more then willing to help you. We had a sub one day and she made phys. feel like it was a foreign language we would never comprehend. Was so relieved to have Merideth back after that.

Mrs Sellars is a stellar teacher! She makes what could be a difficult subject easier to understand and you can see in her attitude how much she wants to help you succeed! She was very supportive when I had a family illness, she really goes above and beyond for her students!

Professor Sellar is AWESOME! If you have to take Human Physiology @ CSCC, I highly recommend getting into her class.

She is awesome! I took the class hybrid with Cathy Bill (awesome) as the lab instructor. don't buy the book - I never opened it. Study the class notes and lab book. Lots of opportunities to earn points through various assignments. It will feel like busy work- but the exams can be hard and the busy work is a great way to earn points (and pass).

SUCH a good teacher! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. the material is fairly difficult but she puts it into terms that you can understand. Very helpful and one of the nicest people I've ever met. Best professor at CSCC in my opinion.

Sellars is an awesome teacher. I took it online and was very skeptical about it but she definetly wiped away any fears I had for this class. Online lectures were perfect and she responded to emails very efficiently. She puts physiology in terms were everyone can understand and comprehend. Reasoning test was very hard. Dont blow that off!

I took the hybrid. This course was hard but thorough. @7 hrs week work/lab +studying=B. I never needed the textbook since all the graphics were online in the lecture, notes, and tutorials. If you don't but the book you do have to pay for the online Connect portion. Sellars is EXTREMELY responsive and went above and beyond to respond to emails.

This teacher was excellent! The class itself can be hard at times but she really went out of her way to help those who asked for it. Such a wonderful person, also keeps you engaged in class. High energy. Would recommend to those who think they may struggle with this subject.

Both really challenging courses but she is willing to rearrange her schedule and meet with you so you understand the material. Its almost like she enjoys her students understanding the info! she breaks everything down so its really easy to learn. love her!

Teacher is very helpful and wants to see her students succeed by providing ample extra credit opportunities. There is a lot of work, but she does allow you to work ahead as much as you want!

Meredith is an amazing instructor. I did take this class over a summer semester (shorter) and in the blended format and am passing with a B. Although I feel like this class was a lot, I think that if i would have taken it over a full semester it would have been a breeze. Please do take her class shes an amazing teacher!

One of the best teachers I have had at CSCC. She loves teaching and it shows in her lectures. She does everything she can to help you understand the material and pass the class. She tries to help modify your study habits to fit this course if you don't do well on tests. There is a lot of material but with all the resources she gives makes it easy.

it is a hard course with a lot of material, but the professor makes it in such a way that you understand. she is there for you if you need. respects students and is very considerate. be ready to involve yourself and pay attention in class.

Meredith makes an extremely confusing subject in Human Physiology, very clear and understandable. She displays a great passion for what she teaches, and truly cares about her students & wants them to succeed. She is a great person, my only regret is that I hadn't had her for any other classes before.

I took this class online. She had weekly announcements with upcoming assignments due for that week. She was great about responding back quickly if you had a question. Labs at home can be time consuming but not hard. Quizes taken at home and very helpful for the exams. Exams were taken on campus but weren't too hard. Study for an A in the class.

Took her pilot apple class for BIO 1101 and passed with flying colors. Her interactive iBook was so useful, and her tests were easy and concise, pretty much exactly what you read in that chapter will be on the test (no curveballs). Enjoyed her always reaching out and how she really cared for our success!

I took her online Human Bio class, and I feel like I hit the lottery! I've heard nothing but bad things about other online bio courses, but this class was straightforward and manageable. There are 4 exams with study guides, a lab each week, lecture videos (with notes), and 2 short writing assignments. No need for the book if you use her notes!

Professor Sellars is an outstanding professor! She is a very caring professor and sets you up for success. Physiology can be tough, but she makes it enjoyable! Her lectures are clear, concise, and she's funny! Highly would recommend professor Sellars especially if you are going in the medical field.

Where do I begin? I love professor Sellars. She is an amazing professor, she really knows her physiology. Very smart and always there to help and make sure you are understanding the material. Best professor I have had yet. She really cares about her students and how well they are doing in class. Class includes weekly lectures (AMAZING btw), weekly discussion boards (simple), weekly at home labs, 4 quizzes (6 attempts on each), 4 exams, 2 writing assignments, and 4 review sheets. Took up a decent amount of time but it was worth it!!

Take Professor Sellars if you get the chance! Weekly online labs that are never too bad. There are 4 exams but she gives you a study guide for each plus opportunities for extra credit. Very lenient grader and she is so sweet. She gives you both lecture videos and notes so you can choose between which one works for you. Never needed the textbook

Professor Sellars may be hands down the best professor I have every had. She is so knowledgeable and truly cares about her students! She made coming to class and the entire learning experience really fun. 100% would take her classes again just to continue to learn from her.

Professor Sellers is EXTREMELY caring. She understands any problems you may have. She very communicative to her students about what is due each week, and gives advice on the best way to do the work. Assignments are due every Sunday, and it can be a lot. But, as long as you try, its an A. Exams can be hard if you dont study. Overall, shes amazing

LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!! Truly recommend taking a class with M. Sellars. I took an online class and didn't understand a topic, so she called me and talked to me for a half hour about life and school. She doesn't grade hard at all just do the work. She is always there to help you! Online lecture videos, not much reading. I didn't even buy a book.

Every week there is a discussion board, lecture vid, lab, and sometimes a HW. 4 quizzes, 2 writing assignments, 4 review sheets, 4 exams. Lots of points. Its definitely a lot of work, but not super hard, all quizzes and exams are open note. If you're lucky you might even get some extra credit!

I have had a really tough time in college just trying to find balance and she was SO understanding. My class with her was all online but she made it fun and super easy to keep up. I HIGHLY recommend her. If you can take her class do it, you won't regret it.

Absolutely love this professor! Sellars is the best, I highly recommend you take her human physiology class. Although she is a great professor, this class is not easy as human physiology is not easy. She does offer a couple extra credit assignments worth some points which can change your grade in the end!

Professor Sellars is probably the best physiology teacher you can get at C-state. She is incredibly forgiving of any mishaps that could have been made and is clear on what she wants. The labs are long, but you can complete them before class and just check over the work with your group. The exams are easy, just put some effort into studying.

Sadly I only got to have Prof Sellars for a bit of the semester, but the interactions I had with her were helpful and nice. Her course was well thought out and helpful, a bit difficult but if you do the work and try your best you'll pass no matter what.

Was gone for the whole semester so we had another professor, which was not her fault but I believe the students should have been accommodated. Besides that, the workload can be a lot but as long as you try your best that is how you are graded. The exams are a bit rough, but those were the only things I struggled with. She is very kind and helpful!

BEST physiology professor. Course is very difficult. She gives lots of extra credit throughout the semester and will make the effort to meet with you after class if you need extra help with the course. Incredibly caring. Work might be a bit extension, but she does it so students can learn the material better. Wouldn't recommend anyone other her.

Professor Sellars is easily one of the best professors at CSCC. Physiology is not an easy class but she provides so much content that you can review to prepare for exams. She also provides worksheets that follow her lecture videos that you can complete as you watch the videos. She also makes kahoot to help review for the upcoming exams.

Physiology is a HARD course! Professor Sellars is a wonderful teacher who made it very easy to understand the material. I took a blended class (lecture online, lab in person). She took time each lab to write out the pathways, this was EXTREMELY helpful for me. I also enjoyed all of the extra study materials she provided. She offers extra credit!

She's awesome. My grade was low because I took her in the summer, so something was ALWAYS due bc of how behind I got. She prepares you beforehand, though. I wish I would've taken her in the fall or spring! But my mistakes aside, her lectures were interesting and she picked great labs. Even if you're bad at biology, you'll do great in her class!

Professor Sellars is a passionate and kind professor, who breaks down the tough concepts very well. I watched her lectures, participated in labs, and did her exam review sheets. If you put in the effort and ask her questions you will do very well. All her exams are fair, straight from lectures and you will always be prepared for the quizzes/PRST.

Sellars class is very straightforward, lecture lab and quizzes & exams. She does a good job at explaining concepts however she is very snarky in emails. Girl don't teach an online class and preach for "open lines of communication" if you aren't prepared to be receiving emails from your online students!!

Professor Sellars is the best professor I have ever had. She somehow made a normally difficult class quite easy, and she is lightning fast to reply to emails. Her grading is VERY fair and the exams are easy if you study. Keep in mind that you have to complete labs for this class, but she is extremely understanding if you struggle with them.

If you're going to take physiology you NEED to take Sellars! It's a hard class, but she makes the material manageable.
