Instructor teaches well, you can learn from him, make sure to do class assignments, project and have good attendance in his class. The finals are ok if you study and do all the assignments. His reviews are excellent.

He is really sweet and cute. He is very helpful. His tests are not hard at all, and projects are very helpful for students who just started accounting.

I took him for the summer course and I think it was online...we met up for reviews and he is very helpful and will work with you.

He is an good professor. Make sure you do all the class assigments and have a good prepare by answer the review questions. An A will be with you if you do so. Don't be freaked out for the first test.

Online course. Easy B Hard A. Reviews are fairly staright foward and helpful, study the review with the book as a reference and u will get an A. Work out the problem and do the xtra credit. Final was tough bc of tricky questions. Fairly easy class.

I hated the text book worthless. I used a $60 extra study guide and online videos to take this course. He curves grades and gives extra credit. no he is not super easy. be ready to do your work in this class. This was online class test were at campus that was tough but if you study his reviews you should be able to pass.

Online Fall 2010. All his exams including finals are online, all multiple choice. There is a quiz on each chapter that you can access for 3 days until deadline. Very easy to make an A. He curves exams and grades class participation.

took this professor for both my accounting courses online and he is pretty easy, you have 13 short quizzes, 3 exams and a final. i was nervous about taking accounting but in the end it was easy with this professor.

I finished with a B+ (88) bec. I didn't do extra cred which would've given me an A :p He drops 2 whole ch quizzes and assignments! Caint beat it!

Took this class online. Class was taught through McGraw Connect, which is a great software that learns what part of the topic you do not understand and then refocuses on that topic. You can do without the text book, just buy the software. I bought the book and never needed to open it. Do not fall behind on assignments and you will do great.

I took this class online and it was easy for me, I work full time and go to school full time and i was able to pass the class with a B. Do all the homework and extra credit and you will do good, only 2 test(worth 25% each) I'm taking him for Acct. 2302. Make sure that it is not the hybrid class you are taking because you are required to complete the reading before he goes over the material. You teach yourself in this class he is good at responding and helping you if you ask. All assignments and quizzess in Connect and deadlines are set for completion. Class is easy to pass but prepare to do work.

I took this class on line Fall 2015. You have to do the work and you do well. If you are a slacker this class is not for you. You have to keep up with the weekly assignments and quizzes ... Taking him again for 2302 :)

Took his managerial accounting. He is very intelligent and his lecture helps you understand better. You're not gonna regret taking him.

If you fail this class, it is literally on you. There is no reason as far as the ends of the Earth to why you should not pass this class. I took him online for both Accounting 2301 & 2302. Got a B in both. Accounting from this man is probably, I think I can say, the fairest class that I have taken in college. It doesn't get more fair than this.

There is a lot of work to do in this class, but if you prioritize each week and get the assignments done, I don't see a way not to get an A in this class. The professor responds quickly to emails and has very clear grading criteria. I've already signed up for his ACCT 2302 class.

Took this class online for the fall. There is a lot of homework to get done but he gives you access to it all early and has examples and videos to help you through the hw, test are short and you get 2 chances for hw and tests. Accounting is not my best but he made it really easy to learn. Put in the effort and time and you cannot fail. TAKE HIM!!!

Took this professor online and all I got to say is that as long you have your textbook and you do homework on time you will pass.

Pretty straight forward class follow the calendar and due dates make sure to just keep up with the chapters and assignments. You need the book for the code unless you are fine using the online textbook then you can get the code only on the website. Great teacher keeps you posted on grades for assignments to make sure you are doing good.

I loved his class! He opened up all assignments on day 1 and had set due dates. As long as you did the work and reviewed the material, such as practicing doing the General Ledgers, etc. you were good.

Awesome Professor! This was a very easy online class. There are around ten assignments due each week which includes a quiz and a learning smart test online. All test including the midterm and final exam are done online. Take this teacher and don't bother going in class. I would recommend this teacher to anyone.

I took this class both part 1 and part 2 and this is class super easy all the assignments are based on Mcgraw hill connect, very easy although some hw assignments is a bit hard but you can google it all the solutions. his emails reply's quick. 100% recommended to take it online.

Good cooperative teacher. I took the online course. The class was very well structured. Lots of HW, but the HW matches the book exercises so it is not difficult to follow. Some assignments have retakes, drops lowest grades, exams are similar and same as HW. If you read and do all HW (v. imp) you will get an A.

Very Good and organized professor. This was my second class with Prof. Genanaw. There is a lot of work in his class, but the work is very organized which makes it easy to follow. End Chap Quizzes and HW, Mid Term, Final and Extra Credit. You can retake Quizzes to improve grade. Drops lowest. Don't fall behind and you will get an A.

Chapters are due every Monday through connect. This class was easy because I had prior knowledge of accounting. It will be difficult for you if you know nothing about it. All assignments you can get 100's on besides midterm and final. Those are over all quizzes.

I took ACCT2301 online with Professor Genanaw and I am so glad I did. Very well organized and structured. Quickly replies to any questions you may have. Lots of homework but just as everyone else has said, just manage your time well and you will do great. Easy A!

I just took a Midterm and it was pretty much easy as what I am expected, most of the questions based on the PowerPoint and some are from the previous quizzes. Homework is due every Sunday at 11:59 PM. DO HOMEWORK, STUDY POWERPOINT and YOU WILL PASS. IT IS AN EASY A IF YOU STUDY.

I'd 10/10 take this class again, Prof. Genanaw's class in one of the most rewarding I have taken this semester. I hope I can take other Accounting courses with him. If you see him as a choice, do not even think about it and take it. You'll need to buy a textbook and McGraw Hill Connect, but really great classes and content. I give him 5 stars.

This professor does not play, but at the same time all the work is not crazy. The way that they grade is 50% homework and 50% exams. There are only 2 exams the homework is not that much and its easy to make an A. Ive taken this professor 2 times this summer.

Just keep up with your homework and you'll pass. The homework is helpful even if it's online and very informational. Lot's of math!

Loved this professor. He still assigns his 6-11 assignments but is manageable if you spread them out in the week correctly. All on connect. Chegg will help a lot if you do not have it. If you have refused to buy chegg this class will make you drop some cash for a good reason. Everything online and assignments are due at the end of the week.

This is my second time taking Professor Genanaw. He is organized and clear in his expectations. You do have to purchase the textbook for the course because 50% of grade is from it. 25% midterm, 25% final and there is extra credit provided.

Was very helpful when it came to questions, we had over online work. Definitely helpful that he made announcements us when assignments are closing, and online work is pretty straightforward. I do recommend if you want to learn at your own pace.

Amazing professor and he allows student to work on their own pace , there 3 chapters per week to complete. Not hard at all but it requires you to put dedication and effort. Exams were easy and based off the quizzes from each of the chapters. If you put time and effort in his class, you will 100% pass his class.

It was quite an easy A except be aware that there's a lot a lot a lot of homework, I took him in a half semester so it's partially my fault. That being said a lot of his work is fairly easy, it's all on CONNECT so you could easily find the answers online.

all of his assignments are on connect but there's 5-6 sub-chapters in one chapter so when the syllabus said you're focusing on chapter 1-2 it means you'll be doing 10 homework assignments. You're mostly on your own. Self-paced, just do everything by the due date. I did ok on the asssignment and still passed.

Fairly easy if you keep up with your HW assignments, each week has about 5 assignments due including a quiz. Which is about 50% of your grade so as long as you keep up with that you will be fine. Midterm Exam is 25% and Final is 25% and offers extra credit as well. No lockdown browser.

ACCT 2302 with Professor Genanaw is very straightforward. Every Sunday, there is one chapter due in McGraw Hill Connect. Within the chapter, you just do quizzes and problems related to the material. Professor Genanaw is there if you need assistance but I found that studying on my own was sufficient. Make sure to stay on top of your assignments!

He also teaches at UHD. He's the sweetest professor, just don't take him for an online class. Lectures are very heavy, but he's open to questions. Accounting is a hard subject, but he explains all homework.
