This was a great class and the professor was awesome. Everyone came ready to play and skill levels ranged from beginner to advanced. You will usually play half field but the option to play full field was also available.

This was my favorite professor! He is flexible about attendance if you just talk to him about it. Very fun soccer class and you mostly just play mini-games.

Metin is pretty dope. I had him for Beginning Badminton and he's really fun. Sometimes it's necessary to have thick skin, but it's obvious it's because he wants us all to get better. I played against him a lot, which was a fun challenge. If Intermediate Badminton was offered next semester, I'd be there.

I learned a lot and have been applying my skills outside of class at different courts around San Diego! An 8am class is tough, but I always went because I wanted to hang out with my coach and fellow classmates. All around, super fun class and guy!

This class was genuinely so fun! I had only played pickleball a few times, but needed a 1 unit course and wanted to get better! Two 50 minute classes a week- some instruction but mostly freeplay/ tournaments! Good time, Meral was a good coach!

Easy fundamentals of pickle ball in the beginning, then we just did game play and tournaments. It's such a fun refreshing break to add to your schedule to ensure some daily activity, plus you get good at pickle ball playing just twice a week!

I took the beginning pickleball course he is very welcoming and funny. He taught us the basics of pickleball and then we began playing games. If you're looking to learn how to play pickleball, I would definitely recommend taking this class. The professor is very respectful, kind, create's good connections with his students, and gives good advice on how to play. However, try to get enroll in the 9am class if you can because the 8am could be hard waking up for!

It's a fun class, all you do is play pickleball. He mostly grades on attendance and he takes attendance everyday. It's pretty chill though. I'd definitely take this class again.

This class was super fun! We literally just play pickleball for fun the entire class.if you're taking this to try to learn new techniques and skills tho, this might not be right for you. He only spends 2 days actually teaching rules and after that you're just playing. He never has an actual plan for what to do during class and just lets us decide.

Straightforward as you play the sport you signed up for. Good grades are simple in that you just have to showup for class. Took badminton and pickleball and both were really fun. 1st couple classes will be setting up and understanding the game. After that actuall playing of the sport will start.

While the coach is lenient on attendance, consistent absences will affect your grade and make it hard for other students to play a match if few people show. Do it!
