i have him for psychology and he is awesome! i definitely recommend him!

MH is a great guy he is very helpfully to anybody with a question. Not alot of points to be had in the class only 400 or so, so there isnt alot a wiggle room. But with that said MH does a great job clearing everything up if you have any problems he can help you out. Great guy, great teacher take him!

the easiest teacher ever. you will not fail his class. he makes it interesting and hes a funny guy too. his tests are are easy as well..he gives you half of the answers before you begin. he helps everyone out and shows that he cares bout you. take him..for any class.. hes awesome.

As a class it's an easy class. So long as you study and come to class and do your work you'll be fine. As a professor, Underhill could do better. He DOES take an interest in the student and makes sure you're doing well. He doesn't give you an idea on your grade unless you ask and sometimes he comes off as very rude but other than that he's ok.

very good teacher. I learned alot in his classs. exams are from the notes and lectures and are pretty much straght forward. this guy is funny and interesting. mh has a very different kind of sense of humor. there is a paper and a presentation which he helps you with. mh is kool, take him.

Take MH for psych. He's a super cool and funny guy. Not a hard class. If you are having a difficult time, he'll go out of his way to help you. Tests arent easy but they arent impossible.

SO EASY. Mr. Underhill has a great sense of humor. TAKE NOTES!!! He lets you use your notes from the slideshows on the tests for ten minutes. The day before the tests TAKE NOTES!! he practically feeds you the answers. show up, do the paper, and have fun and you're guarenteed an A.. I'd take Mr. Underhill again, for sure!

Very enjoyable class. He's a nice guy and his tests are not the easiest, but he lets you use your notes. He supplies a lot of materials to help you study, and gives extra credit for every test. Easy A.

Mr Underhill was an awesome teacher! His lectures can get kinda boring sometimes but he always tries to relate the stuff to real life. hes really funny and laid back. You only needed the textbook to study for tests and only gave out like one hw assignment the whole semester. great guy, easy A

MH is a very cool teacher. He likes to joke around, don't take offense to it. Treat him with respect, he'll do the same. Goes through lectures quickly, not too much homework, tests are a little difficult so just review the material thoroughly. Takes classes to cadaver lab which is also really cool and interesting.

I thought this would be a boring class about growing old but I was surprised how much of the material was about how to age in a healthy way. The instructor was very knowledgeable & enthusiastic. Amazing teacher! I can not recomend him enough. Ive taken all of his classes at MV. MH is always there to help, take advantage that he post powerpoints and study for test youll be fine. Mr. UH is one of the best teachers I had at MV. The material relates directly to his students lives, which not only makes it interesting but more understandable. He knows his material very well. Professor Underhill is a great professor. He makes himself available to his students if they need any extra help and all of his tests for my class were take home. Don't expect his class to be a blow off class, however, he did assign a research paper in APA format which he does expect to be well written.

Show up to class and put in the effort, because he doesn't stand for lazy bodies. You'll want to learn the material in this class because of Mr. Underhill. MH is HILARIOUS. Takes you to cadaver lab which is AMAZING. I'm a sociology person and he made class interesting and understandable. Stickler for attendance but has Brad Pitt good looks, a charming smile and a hell of a night life. Great guy!

Mr. UH is by far the best Psy teacher I've ever had. He not only keeps the class very entertained, but he is so knowledgeable about the subjects we go over. I've learned so much from science, to psychology. He takes his materials and attendance very seriously, but it's so worth it because you actually take a lot out of his class.You wont regret it!

Mr. Underhill's class was always a pleasure to go to. He is very interactive with the students which is the biggest thing that helped me memorize. His goal is for us to take something with us after we leave the class, and i still remember everything i learned in that class. I wish my current teachers resembled mr. Underhills teaching style.

Mr. Underhill is a great professor that goes above and beyond to make sure each student understands the subject matter. His lectures are long, but he cracks jokes to pass time. He puts all the lectures on Blackboard so you really don't need the book. There is one tough APA format paper, but he will stay after class to make sure you understand.

He really knows what he's teaching, and he's funny and tries to make the material more interesting to learn. That being said, if you have a question, don't email him. He doesn't always respond with a clear answer. Just ask after class. And he will fail you if you are absent a lot!

He's really cool. Don't be on your phone or asleep and he'll be fine with you. One hard paper but he gives plenty of time for you to ask how to get the grade. Fun class for sure. Don't buy the book. I got an A and didn't use it once.

The guy is the best. Took him for abnormal psych (dont know if that was the right course number, I just chose one.) At first I thought I was going to hate him but he ended up being one of my favorite college teachers Ive had. Very respectable man and knows his stuff. As long as youre not a jag-off you should do very well in the class.

He's great. Every day he lectures off his powerpoints, but he explains everything in detail & he is super funny. His main goal is for his students to succeed, he tells you everything you need to know for tests. If something is up with the way he graded something, go see him, 9/10 times he will give it to you, very fair man. Definitely recommend him

Love this guy! Took him for PSY104 and all you had to do was attend class and pay attention. most of his class is lecture and power point but he makes it enjoyable, BEST part was that he gave us 2 of the exams, and LOTS of extra credit. awesome and caring guy would take him again

This prof is the best. amazing lectures & very knowledgeable. At UIC, but taking this for the summer and very glad I did. Mr. U is very funny and very helpful to his students. Highly recommend him if you are going into a nursing program. I wish Mr. Underhill was at UIC, I would take him again. Also, this is a very nice campus.

I love this teacher. Is absolutely amazing! as long as you pay attention in class, youll pass no problem. Puts the exams online so you can search the answers before the day of the test. Had a C 2 weeks ago, I talked to him and he told me what to do to get a B and he ended up giving me an A. Awesome guy. APA paper at end is only hard if you dont try

Underhill is hands down one of the best teachers at Moraine. You will actually learn a lot and do well if you come to class and pay attention. If you listen to his lectures and show up, you will definitely pass. He is super helpful and knows how to explain concepts really well-- he is overqualified.

I thought it might be another junior college course but it was very much like courses I took at Loyola. Challenging but fun. If you actually want to learn, take him. Off beat sense of humor. Honestly, one of the funniest professors I have taken in MVCC. His lectures are never boring because he always cracks some jokes during them. It's an easy A if you pay attention to his lectures and take notes. He does tell you what will be on the exams during his lectures so pay attention! Would definitely take his class again.

Professor Underhill is truly a great professor. Very helpful in facilitating special circumstances if you communicate with him in advance. Explains everything using relatable life experience and not just boring textbook explanation. Very knowledgeable about the subject matter he speaks. Should be more teachers like him! Oh and funny!

Mickey Toobad needs to teach professors how to be professors. Literally the best instructor I have had, I have learned more information in his class than my past psychologies and anatomies both put together. He's hilarious and genuinely cares for his students education. He's adorable! You'll want to squeeze him and put him in your pocket!

honestly hes like my best friend now i love going to class just so i can see him. hes the funniest old man you'll ever meet. as long as u pay attention in class he basically hands you everything you need to know for his exams

took this class as a prereq for nursing. thought it might be boring but really enjoyed this class. very interesting lectures. prof has a great sense of humor and is willing to help you with assignments and exams. good knowledge of anatomy which helped me with my anatomy class. explains things well and uses good examples. some hilarious.

Took this professor with another professor for bio 182 and he was the best. Very caring and sweet. Took time to help tutor me and a few other classmates on his own time. Teaches you in ways youll always understand rather then memorize.. great teacher overall.

I agree with the post below. Underhill was very helpful in the cadaver class. He makes things feel relaxed. Very funny and kind of a character. He and prof Chen both put in extra time the last week of school to help students prepare for the final exam. BTW hel likes to be called by his last name and loves Led Zeppelin. Good guy.

Mr. underhill is a very knowledgeable professor. I took this class again to up my grade. Well worth it. Interesting lectures and a very good sense of humor. Sometimes outrageously funny. Seems to know alot about anatomy and the brain. This guy belongs at a school where there aren't so many immature students with high school attitudes. Take him.

I graduated from MV with a degree in nursing in February of this year. I took MH for 2 psych classes and 2 anatomy classes with no regrets. This was the best possible prof to take for the nursing program. Interesting lectures and very helpful. He knows psychology and his lectures on the brain are amazing. MH is smart and funny. He is absolutely wonderful! I have him as my PSY-101 teacher and he is such a funny person. You will almost always laugh in his class. He clearly tells you every single thing you should study that will be on the test the day before, and is always available after class to help. He usually always ends class early which is a plus!

Took this class over the summer. Thought it might be a baby cakes class coming from a university. The prof was cool and knowledgeable. Very interesting lectures and lots of discussion. The prof really knows his brain science and it has paid off in my nursing program. impressed how he relates psych to culture. A psych prof who quotes T.S. Elliot.!

Underhill is the best! If you are struggling and simply reach him outside of class, he will help you as much as he can. He has the most bizarre stories and is a hilarious dude. You literally won't regret taking him. You don't need the textbook, there's always like 1-3 questions on every exam that are based off the book which are easily guessable.

He is nice and good instructor and seems easy but actually the class was hard. He works hard on power points, and explains well, but you get questions in the exams you have no idea about. But overall he is easy on grading, he helps you with the grades if you need it. He makes quizzes for extra credits. You need to work hard although of all his help

Best teacher Ive had at Moraine. Took a condensed course and got out at least an hour early every time. If you want a good grade you have to pay attention and do your notes. He was very funny and made me look forward to class even though it was at 8AM. Even though he says you need the textbook, you dont we never used it.

He was pretty lecture heavy so take notes fast. Before every test (at least in my class) he reads off the questions so you know exactly what to study. Goes into a lot of detail but still a good teacher.

underhill is a very knowledgeable prof. His lectures are interesting and he involves the class in participating. very helpful, often worked with me after class in order to up me grade. explains thing well and takes time for questions. would def. take him again. gives extra credit and posts grades fast. very good prof. take him.

Take Professor Underhill if you have the chance. His lectures were so interesting, and I left class knowing so much more than I did coming in. He goes over each exam so you know exactly what to study beforehand. He also offers plenty of extra credit on his assignments which really helps your grade, I finished his class with an 108%. TAKE HIM!

Overall, not a bad teacher, he's been teaching for a while, so he's pretty laidback. His jokes can fall flat and often time, he'll usually use some students for jokes. Exams were simple, you only need to do one paper for him. His grading is based on points than actual grades.

Underhill is the coolest 73-year-old I've ever met. He has power points that are very detailed but he only lectures the important stuff like what we need to know for tests/quizzes. He gives out a lot of extra credit but it is well-deserved, and there really weren't a lot of assignments. Attendance isn't mandatory but class is definitely worth it.

Take his class for psy 104, he offers a lot of extra credit and is always happy to stay after class to help. Class essays are heavy though.

I took MH Underhill for PSY 104 and I really enjoyed his class he was straight to the point in his lectures and told you what you need to study for the test. He explained things in simple terms which made it easier to understand. No homework other than to study. Great teacher I would take him again!

He was very funny and he was also very helpful. When I needed help he would always answer my questions so I would be able to be better prepared for each test I took. The lectures were entertaining since I felt as if I enjoyed learning more and I really enjoyed this class.

I took one his fast paced classes and so glad I did. in high school teachers made psych so difficult and he makes it very clear. he's chill and you have to low-key be slow to not got an A. he gives you so many opportunities and chances. he doesn't have an attendance policy just show up if you want

Professor Underhill's PSY104 class is fast-paced but worth it. He explains concepts clearly and offers lots of extra credit. Unstuck study helped me ace the exams. Definitely take this class!
