he's really scientific about everything, gives a lot of work but does his best to help and does his best to be fair, have to hand it to him

Very good Teaching Explain in Detail all Biology classes are a lot of work but the work he give in my opinion is not very hard just a lot of studing and he also is fair and help you the best way he can

Fantastic teacher. Take his class if at all possible. Lets you know exactly what is going to be on tests. Still alot to learn but he gives you an excellent study guide.

I think that he is one of the nicest professor that you can get. He really wants you to pass, and will do whatever it is he can. The only thing he has to work on is to explain the labs before class.

I took Dr. Anson for Biol 220 and 221.He is very organized and clear.There is alot of material to cover. He has taught pre-med students at other colleges so he expects alot from his ccbc students. The class is challenging,so many students will do well and some will not,but he is a good teacher. Live and breath A & P for 15 weeks and u can ace him.

He will do everything he can to help you reach your potential. show up to class, study, attend the coach class if your sched permits, talk to him about any difficulty you have and you will do well. And if you're taking 110 you should have a general interest in biology, it is biology for biology majors

I had Dr. Anson for Bio 220 and 221. He covers a lot of material each class, but gives you everything you need to do well. there are lots of quizes, but he gives you the exact questions and answers. Dr. Anson makes it nearly impossible to be un-successful in his class. He gives you everything you need to know! I reccomend him to everyone!

I had Dr. Anson for A&P I & II, he is the best teacher that anyone could ever ask for. He gives you the test questions in a booklet and its up to you from there to study them. He is very organized and has every test and quiz planned out from day 1. In lab he is very helpful when you stuggle. I highly and strongly recommend him.

Dr Anson is a really nice,helpful and works to make sure the students pass I really like that he has review questions from which he gets all the test questions.I took this class before with Hershey and it was a disaster I had to audit the class.Want an A????take him!

I think people who fail this class aren't used to the course load of either college or 4 credit classes. He is so clear on everything and if you come to class and take notes you don't even have to read the book. The tests do get harder as you go along but he is really nice and he makes the lab much better than everyone else. TAKE HIM!

Dr. Anson is a great teacher. He expects only the best, because most of his students are nursing students. I think most of his work is meant to be hard. We don't want nurses to slack at all. Very nice, enjoyed taking his class.

I found him to be very helpful. No its not and easy course. A lot of work and material to study. But Dr.Anson tries to explain in a first time student Biol way. So i say take him because Biol is a hard subject anyways so why not take it with someone who understands that.

Doc is cool and always willing to answer any questions that you have. He is very nice and funny. The most important thing is he is smart and organize. I feel that I actually learned the body because of him.

Dr. Anson is the best Biology professor I have had in collede. Anatomy is a hard class so no matter what professor you take, you're going to have to work to get a good grade. Dr. Anson is really helpful and gives you all the material you need to get a good grade. I would def take him again if I needed to.

Dr. Anson is one of the nicest professor you could ever meet at CCBC. He respect his students and answer questions with respect. A&PII is a difficult subject so studying is require to pass, but he is a SECRET at CCBC, so registered early his class fill up quickly.

I've read many of these comments and do not agree with the negative ones at all. This was my second time taking this class. I got a D last time and earned a B this time around. He gives you the courage to strive and succeed. I had a rocky start, but he helped me understand material to pass with a great grade on my transcript now. he's worth taking!

Took this class based on this site & CCBC staff recommendation. In honesty, extremely overrated. Yes, the class material is difficult & you must study. Instr made it more difficult. He's not effective at teaching. Instead he gives you a book of q&a and slides to memorize for testing. If you want a self-paced course take it or look elsewhere.

The single most valuable experience in Dr. Anson's lab is the AGR surgical skills field trip. It is an amazing opportunity to experience A&P up close and personal and to truly understand the uniqueness of every individual as well as view pathologic effects on different human tissue. One word..AWESOME!! His study guides completely mimic the tests. If you know that study guides you WILL get an A. He is always there in person or through email to address concerns. He has a great of way of explaining things and he is very funny. I recommens taking him for every class he teaches. He is the best!!

Dr Anson is an amazing teacher. This class is hard, but he helps you through it step by step and gives alot of extra credit and different ways to ensure you will pass. He is the only teacher I know of that would spend all evening the night before a test helping to make sure you know the material. There is no one else like him.

Dr. Anson is the professor that I find myself wishing taught all of my classes. He is patient, knowledgeable, and is willing to help whenever needed. His unique teaching style is different from any other I've seen but I actually prefer it. He doesn't hold your hand but instead helps you answer your own questions. If you want an A+ teacher w/out paying university tuition, he's for you. I've been to higher educational schools and he supasses them. The old adage,"you get what you pay for", doesn't apply to him. I wish I had Dr. Anson for AP1. I think I learned more in AP2 than AP1. His classes are very laid back which helps with absorbing all the info. I would def recommend taking him for either AP1 or 2. It's not an easy course but he is by far the best instructor I have had for any science course. I would recommend attending class as it only helps.

A&P is a difficult course by its very nature. Luckily for us, Dr. Anson is not only tremendously knowledgeable, he's friendly, humorous, and helpful as can be. Very well organized, more than fair, and he provides a ton of resources to aid you. I am really going to miss having him as my professor. I wish I had him for all my classes.

I took Dr. Anson for Bio 110 and A&P I and i loved him. The courses themself are hard however Dr. Anson gives you every opportunity to do well and gives you plenty of extra study guides, you just have to put the work in. I highly recommend his classes I also plan on taking him for A&P 2

Great teacher. Was very clear and helped with any questions. Did mini reviews before tests. Study his lecture guides, everything on his tests come from them. Very laid back and made the class a lot easier. Also did review sheets for lab practicals which helped tremendously. Beyond awesome teacher. Got an A with minimum studying, very concise.

Professor Anson was by far one of the most competent, knowledgeable and helpful professors I've ever had. It's Anatomy II, so a lot of studying will be required but he offers a lot of resources online on his website to help you succeed. Also, take advantage of the review questions, they really help for the final. Good luck!

He was a very helpful teacher. When you take the class study the review questions he has on his site, it will make the test so much easier. And go to class every day he gives out a good amount of extra credit but you have to be in class to receive it. 5% of total grade worth of extra credit.

Dr. Anson is A great professor, his class is difficult,you must study,a lot.He offers tons of resources, almost to many,almost.He tries to make lecture fun by telling stories to relate to.One tip, lab can be overwhelming at first, ask questions he always makes himself available and will try to clear up anything that may be confusing.

I took Anson 1 years ago. He is not handing out grads, your going to work in this class. Overall I really enjoyed this class, because of how much information he provides. 1 pointer study your lecture and lab together, after every class. Do not wait last minute.

I took Dr. Anson for A&P 1 and 2 and he is an amazing teacher!! He is so knowledgable and genuinely wants his students to do well. Lecture exams are straight from his study guides so study the study guide! This class isn't easy, you MUST study the material but he tells you what will be on exams and gives you plenty of resources, including himself.

Dr. Anson is an asset to CCBC. It is evident he takes his job very seriously and devotes a lot of time in order to help his students. I could only take his lab class. He had very fair exams -you will do great if you study the list of from lab class. Highly recommend!

If you need to take A & P, take it with Dr. Anson. His exams are taken straight from his study guides. He is a great professor who really wants his students to succeed. As long as you know the questions on his study guide, you will ace the exams. Definitely show up for lab and ask questions.

Dr. Anson is one of the best professors I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. His lectures are interesting (he knows the material inside and out), and he does grading very swiftly ( so you know your exam grades the same day!)

The class was not easy and you need to study a fair amount but Dr. Anson gives you all the tools you need and more to do well in his class. Dr Anson obviously enjoys teaching and his students. All concepts are clearly explained in practical ways that aid in learning and help with memorization. Oodles of extra credit points available.

Dr. Anson answered all of my questions and gives opportunity for extra credit. He also provides students with a lot resources and tools for success! I would recommend to anyone.

This class covers a lot of material. It also i requires effort on students part. Dr. Anson's offers extra credit which was great!. I didn't like Physio X, however as in life we all have to make adaptions and adjust especially when we enter the nursing workforce. Material is overwhelming, but I found a way to study it. It can be done!

He is very methodical with his teaching and his tests reflect exactly what he teaches. He explains concepts very well and he makes it easy to learn and understand. His test q's are taken from his 3600 Q book, so there is no excuse to not know what's on the test. His labs may be "free labs" but you have terms to search out and understand! He's great

Dr. Anson is a very helpful instructor. Everything is laid out on the table from day 1 on what you will cover. He makes it clear what will be on your lab practical, and lecture test. He gives extra credit quizes at the end of lab which helps your grade a lot and helps you learn the lab material. Im taking him for A&P2 next semester. Take him!

Michael Anson is a great professor. His class is not easy, but with studying and attending lectures it will help tremendously. For lecture exams, he gives you 400 or so questions, but he only selected about 80 for the test, so you need to study the questions. I found him very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the physioex assignments.

The class is not just memorization. Yes there's a question book but its there to enhance what you've studied. Study for lecture and lab together. The key is keeping up with the class. Study smart not hard. The professor is lenient, also wise so don't over do it. Take advantage of the extra credit quizzes. With some effort you will pass the course.

Some people told me this would be the hardest class ever, but I came to understand Dr. Anson made the class as easy as he could. By offering the questions that would be on the test. The best thing to do is start early and stay ahead. Through the Grace of God I came out of his class with a B. Study, Study Thanks Dr. Anson

Please don't believe anything negative you read about Dr. Anson. He is clear and specific about what you need to be successful in his class. He created a study guide which will essentially be your bible to this class, literally. Use it! He is extremely nice and answers all questions. Definitely my favorite professor!

First let me start by saying A&P 2 is hard. You HAVE to study no matter which teacher you take. Anson gives you slides, THEN a book that has ALL of the multiple choice questions he uses on the exams. NO OTHER TEACHER DOES THAT. He is very laid back, and willing to help and answer question via email, phone, office, or in class. I enjoyed the class.

Dr. Anson is a great guy. Very down to earth, honest, and passionate about teaching. He wants you to succeed but also makes you work for it. If you are going into a field were you will need to learn and retain this information (ie. Nursing) this is your class! With less than a week until finals I am not stressed because I LEARNED the material :)

I took Dr. Anson for A & P I and II and I loved him. I am currently in the RN program @ ESSEX and will be graduating soon. The lectures can be a bit slow because they are essentially exactly what is said in the slides. I found Dr. Anson to be very clear, easy to understand, and thorough in his expectations. Study guides for every test are found online and if you know that, you know the test. Bio 110 is not an easy class by any means, but he makes it better than most

Dr. Anson is very knowledgeable in his field and explains things very clearly. He is not arrogant one bit and has a calm demeanor that makes him easy to approach if you need something clarified. Anson teaches a/p to a point where the things that are taught are drilled into your brain. You should read the chapters before class THEN go over the study book that he makes. Study for lecture while studying for lab because it's more helpful. Don't waste lab time. Don't forget the lab models are in the library too. Overall a very good teacher!!!

It was an incredibly difficult semester and Dr. Anson was beyond understanding. He is very approachable and certainly has a passion for A&P. You will work for your grade but he is fair and always willing to help. Take full advantage of his time, no question is a bad one in his eyes. He is a very wonderful professor. Gives A LOT of extra credit that you receive just for showing up to class every day and at the end of the semester it adds 5 points to your total grade which saved my life! Anatomy is tough, he makes everything very clear and provides review questions (which show up on the test). If you study those questions you should pass. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Anson was so wonderful! Print out his questions from his A&P questionnaire book, and you will do well! Labs are self taught but he is available to help with any questions. He has so much knowledge and is so kind!

I was bless to take him. Study his questions from his website you will pass. Although each chapter questions are long, go over them many times. Be ahead of him. Study before coming to class. Also, play the game he has on his websit. This help me to get A. For Lab he is there. Just ask him to show you. He is kind and willing to help his students.

Dr. Anson is an amazing teacher. His lectures are somewhat boring. He reads word for word from them which end up word for word on his tests. He also gives you a packet online of all the questions that are on his tests. Word for word. Study those questionspass his class with an A. His labs are pretty hard but he stays around to answer any questions

Dr. Anson is a great professor and I highly recommend him. His lectures & labs are easy to follow and he's always willing to help if you have any questions. Print out the power points for the lecture and study the slides because thats where he pulls all of his quiz material from. DEFINITELY TAKE HIS COURSE!!!

He was one of my favoriate biology teachers. I learnt a lot of new material from him and I loved his teaching style. I would have loved to take another class by him.

Dr. Anson is a great guide and professor. As with most upper level bio classes, the work and understanding is largely self taught by dedicating the proper amount of time to the material outside of class. Thankfully, Anson gives you the references and test question sets to help comprehend (and retain) dense concepts. I highly recommend him!

Professor Anson is a great teacher overall. A&P II is a challenging class all by itself. However, he will give you lots of resources/material in order for you to succeed in this course. Study hard and read his review questions from his website. As per lab, it is self taught but he is there to help you if you have questions. Gives fair exta credit.

Dr. Anson gives you 3 lab exams with physio ex and 4 lecture test one being cumulative. He reads word for word on his power point slides which is boring but he gives you the test questions that you have to memorize for the tests. He than changed up the words on the test making it even more difficult

Dr. Anson is amazing! He truly wants you to understand the material. He made this course easy to understand and graded well. Textbook wasn't used, but good to have to understand material better. He is one of the best biology professors I've had yet, definitely take him!

He is a great professor. I took him for AP1 and got a 'B', so it was only right to take him for AP2. Any questions or concerns he is always there to help.

Dr Anson teaches well, he has a lot of resources to help you navigate very well especially his review questions. You must study to do well. He's also the best in lab as far as I'm concerned. Just call on him and he will come around no matter the number of times. I'm happy I took his class because I can boast of what I learnt in his class.

He is an amazing professor overall, very committed to his students and inspirational! He loves what he does and does everything he can to help you and get you involved! Its the hardest class ever, so much work lecture and lab, but it is worth it because this is our future and he wants to make sure we understand what we are up against. Study, study!

Dr Anson is a great person. He provides questions as a study guide for the test. The only reason I wouldnt take him again is because it is a LOT of work. He give us 3600 study questions that really help but sometimes for one lecture exam you have to study over 400 questions. Also his lab exams are not straight forward in my opinion and are hard.

Professor Anson is legitimately a professor who values his students! Hes always offering outside class hours for those who need it. He does offer extra credit in the form of quizzes! Make sure you actually complete the few assignments he suggests such as Physio Ex! These will help! One of the greatest professors I have come across!

okay. Here we go . Dr. Anson is the only bio professor i would take and here's why. He doesn't over complicate the course because its already tough!!!!! During the lab practicals he doesn't time them thank god! So you will not feel so pressured. I took both parts with him got an A in a&p 1 and a b in a&p 2. Best bio professor at ccbc !!!!!!!!!!

Dr anson is by far the best biology professors Ive taken. Everything is straightforward theres no will that be on the test He tells you exactly what you need to review for all lab practicals as well as for the lecture you get review questions. Ppl are complaining about the amount of review questions but for me I was fine, just fine out studying

Professor Anson is the absolute best! I signed up for rate my professor just so I could rate him. I received a C in the class but that was my fault ( I barely came to class) but he made the material so easy and understandable so when I did show I wasn't so lost. He is a very solid guy!!!!!! TAKE HIM :)

Dr. Anson is an excellent professor. You will have to work for your grade and study hard in his classes, but he's very fair and reasonable. Dr. Anson explains concepts well, is extremely knowledgeable about the subjects he teaches, and is extremely helpful when questions are asked. I highly recommend him.
