Mr. Araujo is the best professot ever. he's a very easy grader and if your class is really good into talking him into letting our test to be a tae home test (like my class was) then al of your test including the midterm and expect for the first test and final exam are take home. He does show up late to class since he's the head of the department

Mike Araujo was the best teacher I've had so far. I took ACC 104 as a night class. He was funny, engaging, and taught in a hands on way that made the material more understandable. The work itself was sometimes challenging, but he made sure no one got left behind.

Absolutely loved him! i took BUS104 over the summer and he took what could have been the most boring class ever and made it really fun and interesting. he is very upfront with all his grading policies and he makes himself available for any requests. I took this as a four hour summer night class. Overall, he is a great teacher and I did well in his class. However, I am very straight forward and reserved which is definitely not at all who he is. So, be prepared for a colorful evening...

Easy going and sarcastic teacher. He's head of the business department so he definitely knows his stuff. He tells you everything you need to know and all his tests were take home. He keeps the class entertained so class goes by faster. Definitely recommend him!

Ha! Ya know! Michael Araujo is by far my favorite professor. His class was interesting and funny. He is very busy but will make time to help you out. I wish I could have taken more classes with him. Get to know him; I consider him a man to look up to.

What a guy Mr. Araujo is. I took his class my first semester at dcc a while back and he seriously is one of the most knowledgeable professors in the field he teaches while being absolutely fair with all aspects of his class, not making the class dry for non business majors, and brings a great sense of humor to a place that really needs it.

Prof. Araujo: knowledgable, fair, great sense of humor, charismatic, etc. He makes you want to come to class everyday. Grades papers fairly. Answer each part it's asking, and you'll do just fine. I'd most definitely take him again and again.

One of my favorite professors. Attendance was not really mandatory because homework was all online and tests and quizzes online. The test that wasn't online was open book besides the final. Teacher made the class go by quickly for a night class. Was really funny and overall a great teacher.

This professor made accounting interesting and easy to learn. He gave good examples and made sure we all understood the material. He laid out the course in a specific manner and made clear all of the grading procedures. The final exam was the easiest (and only in class exam). Highly recommend this professor, he'll make you want to go to class.

Great teacher, he makes a difficult course like accounting easy to understand. He will give you all the resources to be successful. Despite being a little weird at times, he won't make the class boring and gives you a heads up on the time-consuming workload accounting is. I'll be taking his personal finance class in fall.

Araujo is an amazing professor. I just completed his Accounting 101 course, and I am taking his 102 course in the Spring. With 25+ years experience in accounting, He really knows his stuff. He knows how to teach, and helps when help is needed. He makes it easy and understandable. Plus, his dad jokes are on point.

I like Araujo he was very nice and honest. He emphasized that there was going to a lot of homework and reading to understand but honestly they were very easy. The class is time consuming but he makes it very easy to understand. Hes very organized has a study guide to help you stay on track which I loved and appreciated. Also hes very funny.

Very respectable professor! Makes the subject easy to understand and thoroughly explains for those still confused. Attendance always involved a question like "What's your favorite snack", which I thought was interesting and he was always hilarious. Overall, a fine experience!

Always check your Wiley for homework. Araujo can be an ass, but he's a hilarious about it. It's lecture heavy, so while attendance isn't mandatory (so he says), it might as well be. A lot of classes tend to have a great life lesson as well. He genuinely cares.

Professor Araujo makes Accounting as pleasant as it can be. He is attentive, funny, and sincerely cares about his students. Just go to class, do the work and you won't have a problem passing.

First off, this man's laugh is absolute GOLD. Extremely friendly, makes accounting enjoyable, all HW/tests are online, makes a 2hr lecture feel like 50 mins, gave a 5min break during each class, highly recommend if you are an active learner. Take his class I promise you won't regret it.

I took ACC101 with him before dropping out, and then made a point of signing up for his class when I went back online. His lectures in person were great, goes over material in depth. This was my first online class so my grade suffered a bit but still thought he was a great teacher.

Michael Araujo was a very nice and respectful professor! While he did give a tough amount of homework, it was doable if you just did it bit by bit. He had amazing puns and always tried to make the class laugh, though I felt bad because a lot of us were smiling underneath our masks but he couldn't tell. 100/10 would take his class again.

Online course was great. He used Wiley. Lecture videos were great! He explained things in a simple way. Lots of tests and hw but nothing crazy hard. ACC 104 is just a business language so thats why people think its hard. Take this class in fall/spring, summer would be too much work, unless you have to.

He provided lectures for every chapter and explained things so well that helped me understand accounting more. Because it's an online course, the work is steady but not hefty. He encourages everyone to stay on task and plan out the coursework, which I encourage. He's very motivating and tends to crack jokes often which keeps your attention going.

Mr.Araujo always came to class with a positive attitude. He made learning feel a lot less like work and more like fun. Even though accounting is not my favorite or my strongest subject at all, I was able to maintain an A all semester and actually enjoyed what I was learning. This is by far one of the best professor I have had throughout my college experience. Lectures are short and easy. You won't have to take any quizzes or tests in class his you do them online. The only thing you have to take in class is the finale exam. He was very knowledgeable and gave great advice for the future.

Accounting in itself isn't the easiest, but this professor made it very simple and easy to understand. He was available at all times to be able to help with work that I didn't understand very attentive and willing to help whenever help is needed. Would recommend his accounting class online.

The coursework wasn't very difficult and he tried making some of the material that was boring into very interesting material. I liked how organized he was and how every module there was a to do list and steps to follow in order. It was a big help.

There are not enough positive words to explain the type of professor he is. I have to say is that he is extremely funny granted how corny some of his jokes are. Another thing i would say is he is very personable, realistic and down to earth. He also is honest with you when you need to hear it. He is the best kind of educator.

hes a funny guy hes nice and hes a good teacher. accounting is time intensive. nothing bad to say ab him but, everything is on wileyplus, you can literally skip class and just show up for the final if youre confident to study on your own time. he does not take attendance im pretty sure cuz thats what i did.

Great guy! took him online so i had to watch his lecture videos. He always had a funny pun that always had something to do with accounting. he gives you a deadline and your job is to complete all work before that deadline. typically last 2,3 weeks. best option is to do a few assignments a week. dont try to cram. awesome teacher loved this guy!

I would definitely take a class with this professor again, He was able to explain certain formulas in a way where it stuck and watching his lectures was always informative and amusing.

Araujo was very clear about the demands of the class, but structured the activities and assignments to make sure one has plenty of opportunity to review the material. He was extremely responsive and met with me a couple of times to answer questions.

If only every professor who teaches an asynchronous online course would follow the practices of Professor Araujo. He is super clear, lays everything out, provides lots of support (including engaging, clear, and helpful recorded lectures). A big plus: he doesn't require participation in online discussions boards (which is a waste of time IMO).
