He has an accent and can't make out what he says. The textbook he uses is stupid. He doesn't grade assignments until a month later so you really don't know how you're doing. AVOID Him at all costs. He will ruin your college transcript

Horrible! He wants you to teach yourself everything like in a human resources enviornment. You have to choose groups via sacCT as if you were really applying to a job. He's VERY unclear! You ask a question and he wants the class to answer!Doesn't give study guide for exam, nor does he specify what's on the exam. group presentations at the end.

Very flexible with due dates! He was very accommodating all semester. His class has easy weekly work, and longer tests with writing but nothing difficult. The lectures are posted weekly, and are required to be watched, but are very informative!! Overall, great class and professor!! Wish more sac state professors were this adaptable and flexible.

Really caring, knowledgeable professor. He genuinely wants students to succeed. For his toolkits, go back and review recorded lectures (if online - COVID) and use key terms he's pointed out for each material. You will learn a lot and not even realize it. Easy class, but at the same time you need to put in effort on the papers to get an A.

It was not a bad class but his writing part of the three tests is super confusing. He won't give you a clear prompt for the writing part. Test multiple-choice questions are not easy too, so read the textbook and take this class easily.

Ive taken many classes before and this was one of the worst ones because of the prof. He is never available, I send him emails about grades and he takes two weeks to reply, I had to email the dean about the issues. Also one midterm and final with several questions that make up ur whole grade, he wants specific answers so you'll fail just from that

This class is almost entirely group work, even online. The assignments are unclear and sometimes seemingly redundant. He's looking for VERY specific answers, but the questions are usually ambiguous. There are two tests, both worth 35% of your grade each. The other 30% is group work. Grades aren't posted so it's all a guessing game!

Don't understand why he has such high ratings. His entire class is all written/group work. Prompts were confusing & he won't help you if you ask for help, will tell you to interpret it on your own. Like the person below me said he's looking for very specific answers. Save your sanity and take someone else.

I loved this class. Prof was fantastic. Best part was real life simulations and group project. We learned negotiation theories and then applied in class through simulation in a group. He was always prepared for class and run class face to face efficiently. Best prof for HR majors. Take his course you will learn.

Great professor! Had him last semester. Attendance matters, he had a sign-in sheet. Used real-life scenarios and encouraged to participate with other classmates. Had weekly quizzes and 3 exams. Exams were fair game, just like the quizzes. Other than that, he was very understanding and kind. Also gave out disinfecting wipes for everyone every day.

Changed structure in wk 4/5 to incorporate essays that would account for 27% of grade. Then sent the class sent a spreadsheet to can keep track of your grade but the spreadsheet did not match work. DID NOT GRADE 2/3 of the work that accounted for 25% until after competition of the course. You never know where you stand or what needs improvement.

I feel this professor has been unfairly graded overall, but that's likely because the ratings for this class are almost 3 years old. He must have changed his strategy along the way. He really does care about students, and lectures like he's invested in the topic and wants to help relate it to your life. The material is mostly in the readings.

This professor was the best professor I had all semester. His lectures are clear and he enjoys his students asking questions and participating. There are quizzes for every chapter and 3 exams. Each exam is fairly easy since they are the same questions as the quiz, so as long as you study, you will pass.

Prof. Boniface's strongsuit (fittingly) was organization. Lectures were organized, structured, and rehearsed. He's inclusive and passionate. Textbook was well structured and easy to follow but seems a redundant purchase when he puts the info on slides anyway. These, with weekly chapter quizzes & in-class participation, make it simple to pass.

Definitely a good person overall, however in all of my college courses this one was the most unnerving and outdated classes ever. If you go off what he teaches in class your failing the course. Outside work is heavily needed and using Quizlet to study is recommended. I think if he updated his course work it would be better. Final was on study guide

It's a group oriented course, you essentially have weekly discussion posts where you can divide/rotate the work. He seems like a professor who randomly changes things up so be cautious when exams come around. Also his grading system is kind of frustrating (you basically have no idea what ur grade is until the end) . Even so class wasn't too bad.

This class structure is pretty simple. You get in groups with the people who sit around you and he assigns something to each group and you share your groups' analysis. There's a weekly chapter assessment that you can take at home and is open book. 3 exams in total. Just do the practice tests over and over until you get a good score.
