He's very helpful, attendance is not strict at all, and he gives notes on power point. He is one of my favorite teachers. I highly recommend him.

Great teacher! You don't need the book for the class and he uses PowerPoint, videos, and activities to make class very interesting. So far he is my favorite teacher at Wake Tech.

Dr. Chi is the best teacher I've had at Wake Tech so far. If I could take him for every class I would. All you have to do is listen in class (which he actually makes fun) and take good notes. GREAT TEACHER!

Isn't a Psych class supposed to be technical? Sounds like someone wasn't prepared for COLLEGE. Awesome professor. Willing to help anyone, always double checking to make sure everyone understands. Textbook not needed for 241-handouts are awesome, great study guides. Really laid back class. Only one paper, and an oral component. Not hard to succeed!

Dr. Chi is great. I didn't have to open the textbook once durring the semester. Knows what he is talking about and posts all of his lecture notes online. I highly recommend taking him. I was sad when he moved to teaching at the main campus.

AWESOME PROFESSOR, I wanted to take his class again. He always had videos that correspond with lectures to help you remember. Please take his class. I almost changed my major last sem and still considering it.

Dr. Chi is a good teacher and he is the one to take PSY-241 because he is very easy and makes everyone understand the material. Do not buy the textbook because he never uses/references it in lecture ever! Also, very few grades so make sure you do very well on his tests, which are a piece of cake for the most part. Easy class, take him.

Dr. Mike is the BEST!!! Take his class if you want to ENJOY sitting there and watching the class-time fly by! He really makes the material interesting, even if it isn't your "thing". He knows his stuff, and is a great professor! Glad Wake Tech has him! Hope they can keep him!

quite possibly the best teacher i have ever had. has pet peaves such as tardies but can be easy to get along with. hes very organized and interesting, doesnt go over useless material that wont be tested on. clear to the point. as long as you study and attend class hes the man

Besides Dr. Davis, Dr. Mike is seriously my favorite teacher at Wake Tech. He's really nice and he's a great teacher. Love how he uses videos in his lectures and PowerPoint. Quizzes are so easy! Just pay attention to what he says during the notes and you're golden.

Great teacher! 1st good class I took at college level. Kept everyone entertained. don't come late, or use your cell during class he will freak out. also don't buy a book. try your best, go to him for help, and you will for sure get an A! Dr. Chi was great! :)

great teacher, favorite teacher. he says in the begging you won't need a book and you don't he goes over stuff much better than the book. just don't be late he usually gets their early and waits for everyone to get there or for the time the class starts whichever comes first, and speeches can start five minutes early if most of the people are there

I loved Dr. Mike's class! I had him for Developmental Psych and he was very clear in his explanation and his tests were fair- they are exactly what he says they're going to be. We never used our book, I didn't even buy it. I would recommend him for any Psych class he teaches and I would take him again. Just don't be late- he hates that.

Very good teacher. I took his class online and focus was put on the discussion boards which were usually interesting to complete. All material for the quizzes, tests & final are easily accessible in the book or in the powerpoints supplied by the teacher. This was the best class of my semester and one of the best teachers that I had at Wake Tech!!!

Dr. Mike is an excellent teacher- I HATED psych before taking 241 with him, but he made it so interesting for me. He basically feeds you an A and if you don't make one then you may need to rethink being in college. If you need this class, definitely take Dr. Mike if you can.

Dr. Mike was great. I'm a returning student who took Developmental Psych seriously - (i.e. showed up for classes & studied) and w/o much difficulty got an "A". You do NOT need a textbook (he will tell you that on the first day) and as long as you stick to his PPT's you'll do great. DO NOT SHOW UP LATE FOR CLASS THOUGH!

Dr. Mike is a fantastic teacher. Took him for Gen PSY & liked him so much I followed him after he left N. Campus down to his class at Main for Dev PSY. Extremely interesting & the most together professor I've had to date. Things to know: Take notes, the book won't help; DON'T BE LATE! Great teacher, but he has an unusual love for RL shirts...

Great teacher. Very short temper tho so dont piss him off. Just go to class ON TIME and be quiet and pay attention. If you do all the above you will get easy A. No need to buy book he posts all the power points online. He make pyc very interesting and fun to learn.

Loved Dr. Mike! Will be taking him for PSY 241 (dev) I would take him for everything if possible. I strongly suggest you take this class with him!

Dr Mike teaches the material wonderfully. he provides movie clips, powerpoint notes that you can print online, everything. He's a great teacher and relatively quirky.

Dr. Mike is an amazing teacher!! His PowerPoints give you all the information you will need for your test. He post your grades up super fast. He keeps his lectures very interesting and he is a funny guy! If you go to class and take notes you will do great! Loved his class! Totally Recommend!!

Very interested in the subject he teaches and explains things well. He is very straightforward by using power points instead of making his students reading the textbook. The only negative I would say is that he can run low on patience at times and is too concerned with time.

Dr. Mike is awesome. If more teachers taught like him, I might actually enjoy school more! His lectures are very helpful and he keeps class interesting. His grading is not to harsh as long as you do the work. His exams are simple as long as you take notes in class and actually attend class.

Dr Mike is an awesome teacher. He tells you on the first day that he does not care about attendance, but will have to earn your grades. He also tells you that you never need a textbook, as all notes are powerpoint. He is very clear and will further explain anything that is asked. He seems to get stressed, but will always help. I loved Dr. MIke! I took his class online and it was wonderful. He was very helpful to me and was very clear on what he wanted from everyone. That being said, he does not baby you. Submit everything on time and if you have technical problems, let him know immediately. It's better that way.

One of the best teachers I've ever had! He clearly understands what he is talking about and provides many visual aids to better understand the material. He keeps the class entertaining and always is quick when posting grades or responding to emails. Definitely recommend taking his class!

I enjoyed taking psychology with him. He is a great teacher all you have to do is take notes,Review the notes, do the study guides, and projects and you will be fine. The book isn't mandatory, but there are some questions in the study guide that isn't in the notes so you need to make sure you have a source to help you with the study guide.

Best teacher at WTC by far! He is very helpful, sticks to the schedule, and as long as you take notes, pay attention and study it is easy. Studying is needed, but he tells you everything that is on the exams and prepares you well. There is 1 writing assignment but it isn't that bad. He looked at my roughdraft twice and in the end gave me a 100.

I took the class on-line. He was very organized and his materials were very easy to follow. The vidoes were very helpful. He made the class fun and engaging. He's big on discussion board, so be thoughtful with your replies. It's a big part of your grade! I will be taking 241 with him. One of the best teachers at Wake Tech!

Dr. Chi is a fabulous instructor. He is very well versed in psychology and very enthusiastic about it which makes it that much easier and fun to take his course. He makes you work. There are several difficult things to complete each week. Sometimes the assignment is not 100% clear but he will explain. The format is perfect.

Dr. Mike is by far one of the best professors Wake Tech has. He is keeps you engaged in the class and is always there to offer you help and repeat things if you don't understand. Took online. Lots of assignments but that helps in case you have trouble with the midterm or final. His slides are very helpful. Very interested in his students learning the material and doing well. Great Professor and one of the best at WTCC.

Don't buy the book. No need. Dr. Mike was friendly and informative. Really enjoyed his teaching style. The writing assignment and oral assignment seemed to scare a lot of people away. It wasn't bad. I'd recommend this class to anyone.

Dr. Mike is a fantastic instructor. He is very fair in his approach to the class. He will work with you in every way possible. He relies on discussion board participation for a major portion of the grade...along with quizzes and exams. Very thorough...providing additional notes and power point presentations. Great choice for PSY 150.

Dr. Mike is a phenomenal professor. He's well-organized, enthusiastic and quite clear about what is required. This is one of the toughest and most time-intense courses that I've taken here at Wake Tech. However, if you follow his clear instructions and are prepared to do the work, you'll succeed. Such a great teacher! Responds to emails quickly, drops your lowest quiz, and discussion board grades. Also, the PowerPoints he makes are basically the quizzes and exams. As long as you take notes on PowerPoint, its an easy A.

DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! DON'T BUY IT! You will never use it, he provides notes! But SUCH a great teacher! His powerpoints are crystal clear, just take a ton of notes. The quizzes and tests are exactly like the notes. No surprises. I took the 5 week summer class, and with 2 other classes and a job this was pretty rigorous. Not impossible, though!

DONT NEED TEXTBOOK!!! I normally do terrible with powerpoint lecture but I got an A because he's such a good teacher. If you print out his powerpoint notes before class to fill in during, you'll get an A in his class. The tests and quizes are exactly whats on the powerpoints.

Dr. Mike is a great psychology instructor! His lectures are straight from the power points and they are very interesting and clear. You do NOT need the book! He gives you all you need to know in the lectures. He's pretty funny and makes class fun. I always looked forward to his class because we learned so many interesting things. Take this guy!

Dr Mike was the best! He responds to emails right away. Is very invested in his students and the course is very interesting. A big final paper but he is clear on what he wants and feel free to email him any questions. Make sure you read and use the powerpoint files he gives in order to be prepared for the tests.

Awesome professor! I never used the textbook required so it is not needed unless you struggle with grasping psych. He provides a powerpoint, additional notes he would say along with the powerpoint, and review questions (optional). USE ALL OF THESE! There are weekly quizzes and discussion boards

Dr. Mike is the best professor! He really wants his students to succeed and makes sure that all of his students know that. I never used the textbook, but I made sure to take notes during the lectures. The quizzes are easy, and the tests are relatively easy. The weekly discussion boards were my favorite! I really enjoyed this class & I recommend it!

Dr. Mike is great. Even online, he goes the distance to make sure you understand the concepts. Responds to every email. Grades fairly. Very encouraging. I used the textbook, but he does not test anything not on the power point. Not a hard class if you do the work, but you have to do the work. I would definitely take a class from him again.

I really enjoyed taking this class. Dr. Mike is a fair grader. If you follow the homework guides then you can get top marks for your discussions. Each week there was a quiz of 5 questions regarding the topic of that week. If you read the powerpoints, watch the videos, and read the extra notes you will do good in this class. Supportive teacher.
