He is sort of funny and his class is really easy. He puts all the notes on Hawknet and reviews before the tests. The only bad thing is he only has a midterm and a Final so if you screw up your done. But there is also a paper (1500 words) that is a Gordon Rule requirement. But other than that the class is really easy and fun cuz he teaches it well.

He's really laid back when it comes to his teaching. He's up to date with the times and doesn't read right out of the textbook. He does everything by powerpoint and posts the slides on hawknet. His lectures are very helpful when it comes to his midterm and final. He reviews before the tests as well and basically tells you what is on the test.

Really Down to earth. Very imformative. Explains everything in great detail. Textbook is not required. Can get a little bit off topic but it does have to do with the lectures. You can follow with the powerpoint print outs. Tests actually make sense! I loved this class!!!

Good professor; speaks well; interesting lectures. Assignments and test are relatively easy, and he is very accommodating to student needs. Would strongly recommend for anyone needing a liberal arts credit, or to anyone interested in sociology.

I took him for sociology over the summer and he is amazing. It's no doubt an easy class to pass! Everything is done by powerpoint, and he tells you exactly what you need to know for the 2 tests. You don't need the textbook at all so don't bother buying it! I would deffinatly take him again if he taught more!

Professir Cole is a veryinteresting teacher. His class is fun and he keeps his class completely engaged in the discussions. No textbook needed, he prepares you for your exams. You have 2 tests and 3 essays. I honestly dont know how you could get less than an A in this class.

I took his class over the summer and we had 2 test and 3 500 word essays to do. Every thing was done on power point, as long as you went to class and did the essays there is no way to fail this class. The class before the midterm and final he goes over the test and tells you what you need to know. This class is almost fail proof.

The class was fun and interesting, and he cares about the subject matter and how you understand it rather than petty homework assignments. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone, especially if you are interested in sociology. The two exams (mid term/final) are easy as long as you attend his very straightforward review the class before.

Cool guy. Interesting class. You wont need the book at all. There is no homework. Just 3 short essays due by the end of semester. Easy multiple choice exams that he reviews and lets you know exactly what you should know.

If Sociology is your Major, then take this professor. He is extremely funny and his slides provide Crystal Clear information. This guy is amazing. Before taking this class I thought sociology was going to be a pain, but Mr Cole is hilarious. He's very charismatic & easy to pay attention to. He is direct with what he wants you to know, & is very knowledgeable of his field. His outlines for tests are great to study, & he doesn't kill you with homework. I learned alot. Take.

Seriously easy class. You don't have to show up to know the material, but he will randomly give bonus points if you do. Loved this professor! Even after moving to Tampa I'm looking for a way to fit his Marriage and Family course in to my schedule and Ill drive out to Brandon for it. I drove to the Brandon campus from Tampa twice a week all Summer to take Marriage and Family with him after I had him for Sociology last year. If you need to get Sociology out of the way for your AA, it will be the single greatest mistake of your life if you don't take him. I wish he taught more classes, Id drive to Brandon every term.

This class is super easy and the professor is super helpful. There are 3 "essays" that you choose from a list of questions. He doesn't have a word count or special requirements for the essays. You take a midterm and final but he reviews EXACTLY what you need to know. Slideshows are made available online to print out for notes. Great class to take.

He is hilarious. We were always laughing and I found myself wanting to come to class (imagine that?). He tells a lot of stories about real-life events & material so you can easily tie it back into sociology. I managed to snag an A! Please take his class, you will not regret it. He's pretty cute too, but shhhh.

Cole is such an easy grader and he basically tells you exactly what is on the tests. All you have to do is make sure you write the three essays and show up for the reviews & two tests and you've pretty much got an A. Foolproof.

He takes attendance, but, for the most part, if you just print the PowerPoints and show up the class before the test, he'll review everything that will actually be on test. Gives two tests and three papers, but the papers are only because he has to.

Professor Cole is pretty good. You don't need the book, but you can get it if you want. Pretty straight forward. Reviews before test and tells you what he's looking for. Overall a great class. I highly recommend taking the class.

Very easy class. The grade was a midterm, final, and three easy writing assignments. Attending class was helpful but not necessary. Print out power points and bring on the day before an exam: he will go over everything that will be on the test - ATTEND THIS DAY! If you memorize and study all the slide, you're golden.

I will be taking another class from Mr. Cole. He makes coming to class fun. He makes you want to participate. His lectures help you meet the other students in your class, whereas other classes you never know any one.

Best professor out there! Super hilarious and my 3 hour night class once a week ended up being 1 hour. Cole is the best teacher I've ever had. He is hilarious and makes his lectures count. The 3 hour class takes a maximum of 1 and a half hour at best. His grading is only the Mid-term, the final, and three essays that you get a 100% for if you just turn them in. TAKE HIS CLASS!

His class was very simple. He sends you a power point containing the semester's lectures prior to 1st class. There are only 5 grades for the class- a mid-term, final & 3- 500 word essays. His lectures are entertaining because he is hilarious. He does a final review the week prior, telling you everything that will be on the test. Easy A!

TAKE HIS CLASS. I took his 7pm class, and it was never longer the an 1 or 1 1/2. There is only a Mid-term, Final exam and essay for grades ! He tells you what you need to know and dont during the PP he review the class Before your midterm and finals. Hes a very cool laid back teacher easy to approach. All you have to do is show up for class

Gives a few assignments & tells u if you messed up on something what it is he is looking for and allows u to fix it. He wants you to explain in your own words/opinion but seems to be very harsh on it. He has graded 2 assignments & im almost at a B. Thankfully he lets you resubmit assignments. Wouldnt say its one of those breeze through easy classes

Mr. Cole had amazing lectures. He allowed us to resubmit our assignments. He grades assignments fairly off of the presentations he provides. His lectures are straightforward and engaging. I would retake him for sure. The textbook he provides is very interesting, as well.
